Thank you for taking the time to look at this. Hope You like it!

The wind whipped through the treetops, sharp and cold, but was not able to pull the leather-clad girl from her thoughts. Her sketchbook lay flat out in front of her on the sturdy branch. She came here often, as this was one of the few places at Auradon Prep she could be alone.

"Mal!" Someone's voice rang through the woods. "Mal, come out. I want to show you something!"

Mal sighed as she dropped several yards to the ground. She quickly spotted Evie moving toward her, a silly grin on her face. Evie had been her best friend for quite a short time, but they knew each other very well.

"I have this great idea for a new dress, and nobody else wants to model for me, so can you do it, pretty please, with a poison apple on top?!"

Mal stepped back quickly. "Whoa, Evie, slow down. You want me to model a dress?" She asked in disgust.

Evie gasped, breathing hard, as she had come sprinting up to Mal. "Yes, and I know you don't like to, but what if I take you out to eat afterwards?"

"If you're going out to eat somewhere, invite us too." Jay called, him and Carlos walking up, still in their Tourney uniforms.

Mal pinched the bridge of her nose. "We are not going ANYWHERE. I am not going to model a prissy dress."

"Please, Mal? The boys want you to!" Evie begged, giving the puppy dog eyes.

She rolled her eyes, giving in. "Fine, but only if we go to You-Know-Where."

"Deal!" Evie said, very happy.

The boys stood in Mal and Evie's dorm, watching as Evie excitedly hurried around, trying new looks and patterns for this dress she was making. Mal, meanwhile, stood in the center of the chaos with a resigned look on her face.

"I feel bad for Mal right now," Carlos snickered into Jay's ear. "She doesn't know what the point of all this is."

"At least she'll like it later."

Evie was working on a dark purple dress with black and green highlights, a green lacy shoulder thing, flared sleeves and a mid-calf-length hem. Since they had come to Auradon, Mal's hair had grown a couple inches, and was now part of the way down her chest. Her hair was currently curled and being pulled back into a beautiful braided crown.

Mal was blindfolded and led by Jay through the halls and outside to a limo. They got in, and drove a little way to Mal's favorite restaurant, which had a chocolate fountain with bowls of strawberries. This was where the surprise awaited them…

Mal was very nervous as she was gently led to the door. They took off her blindfold and opened the door…

"SURPRISE!"

They had filled the room with purple, black and green decorations, and there was a cake on the table, along with a few gifts. The people there all smiled at her. Ben was there, along with Lonnie, Jane, and Doug, but Mal was glad to see that there was no Chad or Audrey.

"What is this?" She asked in wonder.

"Well, Carlos did some digging in the records," Evie started. "And he found out all our birthdays. Today is yours, and apparently they have big birthday parties in Auradon."

"So we set up one for you! Do you like it?" Ben asked Mal hesitantly.

"Like it? I love it! It's beautiful, guys, thank you!"

Jay interjected. "All right, all right, enough with the mushy stuff. Let's get this party started!"

I would love suggestions for my next chapter, and hope to see you guys soon! Bye!
