Oliver and Felicity laid in the bed cuddled up next to each other. They were both laid there thinking. Oliver wanted to tell Felicity everything but he was scared if he did he'd lose her one way or another and he wasn't going to let that happen. Felicity knew he was the vigilante but didn't just want to come out and say that to him. She wanted him to tell her himself. She wanted him to trust her enough to tell him. The ringing of a phone snapped them out of their thoughts. It was Felicity's phone. Felicity pulled herself away from Oliver. Oliver pulled her back. "Let it ring" he said.
Felicity shook her head. "It could be important" she said. She got out of the bed and looked through her purse for her phone. Oliver sighed frustrated. All he wanted to do was stay in his bed with his girlfriend. Felicity finally found her phone and answered it. "Hello" she said into the phone.
"Felicity hello" the voice said on the other end of the line. She knew that voice. It was Bruce Wayne's voice.
"I'll be right back" Felicity said to Oliver then she walked into the bathroom looking the door behind her. "Bruce is everything OK" Felicity asked.
"Yes Felicity everything's fine. I just need a favor" Bruce said.
"Of course. Anything" Felicity said.
"You remember the object I gave you a couple weeks back to work on" Bruce asked.
Felicity thought for a moment. "The flower" she asked.
"Yes. I need it back. Something very important has come up" he said.
"Is everything OK" she asked.
"Yes I just need it back as soon as possible" Bruce said.
"OK. When will you be back in Gotham" Felicity asked.
"I'll be back tomorrow" Bruce said.
"Oh well. I'll go and get it for you" she said.
"Thank you Felicity. I knew I could count on you" Bruce said.
"Of course. I should get going" Felicity said.
"Bye. I'll see you tomorrow" Bruce said. Felicity hung up. She looked at herself in the mirror. What was she going to tell Oliver?
Felicity walked out of the bathroom and saw Oliver dressed sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked over at Felicity. "Is everything OK" he asked.
Felicity nodded her head. "Everything's fine. I just have some work stuff to take care of" Felicity said as she started to put her dress back on.
"You're leaving" Oliver asked.
Felicity looked at him sadly. "Yes unfortunately" she said.
Oliver pouted a little but stood up and walked over to Felicity. "Can I get a goodbye kiss before you leave" he asked.
Felicity smiled at him. "Of course" she said giving him a quick peck on the lips.
Oliver shook his head and pulled Felicity close to him. "No I mean a real kiss" he said pulling her in for a passionate kiss. Felicity pulled back and they smiled at each other. "I love you" Oliver said.
"I love you too. I'll see you tomorrow" Felicity said.
Oliver smiled at her. "See you tomorrow. Good luck with your work thing" he said. She gave him one last quick kiss and left the room leaving Oliver standing there alone.
Felicity walked through the crowded house trying to get out. She almost made it to the door when she heard her name being called out. "Felicity" someone called out. She turned around and saw Tommy and Laurel walking up to her. "Felicity you're not leaving are you" Tommy asked.
Felicity nodded her head. "I have some work stuff to take care of" she said.
Laurel smiled at her sister. "Perfect. I'll go home with you" Laurel said.
Tommy looked over at his wife. "I can take you home" he said.
Laurel shook her head. "No you stay and I'll go home with Felicity. I didn't even want to come here in the first place" she said.
"Are you sure" Tommy asked.
"Yes have fun. I'll see you at home" she said giving him a quick kiss.
Tommy sighed. He knew better than to argue with his wife especially when her mind was made up. "OK. I'll see you later" he said. Laurel nodded as Tommy walked away. Felicity and Laurel walked out of the house.
Before Felicity and Laurel got to Felicity's car Felicity's phone rang. She picked it up. "Hello" she said.
"Good Felicity you answered. I need you to pick me up" Sara said into the phone.
"Sara. Where are you" Felicity asked.
"I'm right outside Smoakin' Lance. My car broke down so I walked here" Sara said.
"What a coincidence. Me and Laurel were heading over there right now. I have some business to take care of" Felicity said.
"Well I'll wait here then" Sara said.
"You can sit in the lobby and wait for us. Just tell Garry your my sister. He'll let you in" Felicity said.
"Bye" Sara said.
"Bye" Felicity said hanging up the phone.
"What happened" Laurel asked.
"Sara's car broke down. She's waiting for us" Felicity answered getting into the car.
Laurel got into the passenger seat. "So what is this business you have to take care of" Laurel asked.
Felicity looked at her sister. "I have to return something to a friend" she answered. She drove off. Felicity had no idea what was going on but Bruce needed her help and she was going to help him.
Felicity and Laurel arrived at Smoakin' Lance. They walked in and saw Sara sitting in the lobby. She stood up and walked over to them. "Hi guys" Sara said.
Felicity smiled at her sister. "Hello Sara. I'll drive you home in a minute. I just have to get something" Felicity said. Sara nodded. Felicity walked down the hall to a door. She took out a keycard and swiped it over a control panel. The door opened and she walked inside. Laurel and Sara looked at each other confused then followed Felicity through the door. Felicity walked up to an elevator and pushed a button. The elevator door opened and the three sisters walked into the elevator. Felicity pushed a button, the doors closed and they started moving. They reached their destination and the doors opened. They were in some kind of basement. Felicity walked down the hall to a door. She put her hand on the control panel and a door unlocked. She opened the door and her Laurel and Sara walked in.
"What is this place" Laurel asked as she looked around the room.
"This is the room where I keep the really valuable items. Very few people know about this basement" Felicity said walking over to a glass case. She pushed a button at the top of the case and the glass disappeared up into the top of the case. She took a box out of the case and put it on the table. She took a key out of her purse and unlocked the box. Laurel and Sara looked in the box shocked.
"Is that the weird flower thing that clown guy from Gotham owned" Sara asked.
Felicity nodded her head. "His name's the Joker and it's called an acid flower" Felicity said taking it out of the box and placing it in her purse.
"Why do you have it" Laurel asked.
"A friend gave it to me. They needed me to work on it" Felicity said as she put the empty box back in the case. She pushed the button and the glass reappeared. Felicity's phone buzzed. She looked at it and gasped.
"What's wrong" Sara asked.
"The vigilante just stopped an arms deal" Felicity said.
Back at the Queen mansion, Oliver was leaning on his desk staring at a picture of him and Felicity from before he got on that stupid boat. Then he opened a hidden compartment in his desk. He pulled the ring box out of it. He opened it up and looked at the ring. This is the life he wanted for them. Being happily married with a couple kids. That's the life he didn't know if he'd ever be able to have and it broke his heart. Just then his phone started to ring. He closed the ring box and put it back in the secret compartment and closed it. He picked up the phone. "Man in the hood, 1. Gang bangers, zero" Diggle said. Just then there was a knock on the door.
"Hang on. Yea" Oliver called out.
"Mr. Queen, if you're entertaining guests upstairs should I have some drinks sent up" the man outside the door asked setting up his gun. He was dressed as a waiter so it was easier to blend in.
"No it's just me up here and I'm on my way back down" Oliver said walking over to the door.
"Good job" Oliver said as he put the phone back to his ear. He opened the door. "Now get back here" Oliver said into the phone. The man pointed the gun at Oliver but Oliver grabbed his arm and punched him in the face. Oliver brought him deeper into the room and continued punching him. He twisted the man's arm until he let go of the gun. Oliver punched the man in the face again and the man kicked Oliver's legs. The man got one arm out of Oliver's hold and reached for the gun. Oliver pulled him back and him and the man fell over the couch. The man tried to punch Oliver but Oliver grabbed his arm and used a scissor kick to flip the man over. The man got up and Oliver punched him again. The man grabbed the gun and stood up pointing the gun at Oliver. Before he could shoot, the man was shot with multiple bullets in the back. The man fell to the floor dead. Quentin came running into the room gun raised. Oliver and Quentin looked at each other. How much did he see?
After everything died down, Oliver sat in the living room on the couch with Thea next to him. Oliver's foot was on the coffee table. Tommy was sitting in the chair on the other side of the room. Quentin walked up to Oliver. "How did you know I was in trouble" Oliver asked Quentin.
"When the guy was fighting you he broke the ankle monitor" Quentin answered. He looked between Oliver and Tommy. "Where are my daughters" he asked.
"They left before everything happened" Tommy answered. Quentin let out a sigh of relief.
"Are you all right" Moira asked as she walked into the room.
"I'm fine" Oliver answered.
"Oliver…" she started to say as she walked around the couch. Walter walked into the room.
"Mom, I promise" Oliver said looking up and smiling at his mother.
Moira turned to Quentin. "This is on you. By accusing my son publicly you've made him a target" she said. Quentin looked away from her feeling guilty. He was wrong about Oliver.
"Do you have any idea who attacked Oliver" Walter asked.
Quentin looked over toward Walter. "We haven't identified him yet. It must be someone with a grudge against the hood obviously" Quentin said. He started taking the ankle monitor off Oliver's foot.
"What are you doing" Oliver asked.
"I got a call from my lieutenant" Quentin said removing the ankle monitor. "An arms deal was attacked across town tonight by the vigilante" Quentin said standing up and looking at Moira and Walter. "Multiple witnesses put him there" Quentin said. Oliver looked at Quentin while Thea just stared at her brother. "In light of that all charges against your son have been dropped" Quentin said to Moira.
"Would you kindly get the hell out of my house" Moira asked Quentin. Walter just looked at Quentin. Quentin went to leave.
"Mr. Lance" Oliver called from the couch. Quentin stopped walking and turned around. "Thank you" Oliver said nodding his head. Quentin nodded back. Moira and Walter just stood there expectantly as Quentin left. Oliver watched him leave. Tonight was an absolute success. He got the cops off his trail and an arms deal was stopped. Everything worked out perfectly according to Oliver's plan.
