Chapter 4 "The Crash Out"
Venom ran and jumped looking as he body smacked buildings and cracked their walls "One bonus less damage less likely to be spotted" But regardless it's better to be more careful he hopped to this building's roof. As he leaped up his hands met with the wall climbing over his feet feeling dirty concrete his dark grayish veins pulsed with disgust he looked over the lights everywhere enchanting the buildings and the city's inhabitants. The humans that were, for some reason out and about looked normal there were a scant few who seemed uncomfortable or unsettled "Maybe I'll get to see one up close and personal with those abominations one of these days" Venom said as he finally exposed his horrific features but soon closing it looking back up he looked for his target when he saw it. The Life Foundation is written in bold Kanji he had found his target, his contempt, hopping off his building climbing over to the next and the next eventually coming to the closed rooftop near the foundation. Now the only question is how was he going to get inside without getting caught by security or Kull forbid any unlucky authorities lurking about Venom kept his eyes open and watchful even at the height he was capable of seeing one way in and a couple of ways out an air vent along the left-hand side of the building who knew if he was able to fit. Still, he knew there was only one way to find out leaping to the wall; he slowly climbed down to the vent ripping the metal plates collecting them, and mostly crouching into the vent placing the metal plates at the entrance of the vent.
"Where are you Infamy?" he said openly a voice could be heard in his own "Go right follow the path it will lead you near the exhibit where you were trapped" A grimacing face fell on venom as the superior voice spoke to his mind, he turned right going through the metal walls even when fans blocked his path but his fist easily solved that problem. "Report," the heaver voice said authority venom began his explanation "After your pod was sent to the nearest body of land the enemy attacked we were desperate we thought they wouldn't be so daring to follow past the planet's thermosphere The air began to weaken us as we got closer to planets surface I along with Plasma, Helios, and Cultis were managed to enter our pods whether they survived is unknown but the rest Likely dead," venom said almost somber like "Understood, have you reached the crossroads" "I have" Venom replied with readiness "Go left it past the fan will lead you to an elevator shaft till you hit the bottom level 6" Venom followed exactly coming face to face with the fan punching through he could see one elevator and a long way down so he did the Venom thing to do he took a long way down using his body to slide down feeling… something.
It took him a while but before he knew he was there his hand extended to tendrils as he pulled the metal doors apart hopping onto the floor with a small thud. Venom walked with purpose, finding himself surrounded by empty yet bloody cells and lab equipment unknown to Venom; a small camera tracked his movements. Venom continued to walk past each cell with a weird feel internally an automatic door open make a small beep sound slowly waking forward he found himself in an extension of the lab "On your left" the Balanced voice said Venom looked to see his Broz-colored superior in a glass cylinder with small blood splatters on the ground he would ask a glass door stood between he raised his fist and enlarged his fist before "WAIT you'll likely trigger the alarm puncture The cylinders casing and let me fuse with." As much as Venom wanted to have some action, Infamy was right, and Kaniki would undoubtedly agree. Venom's fist transformed into a tendril passing through the door and doing his best not to shatter the glass but just enough to *crack* Infamy slithered through the cracks fusing with venom doubling their size as well as the amount of eyes and making metallic Bronze splotches appear on their body as they returned to the elevator shaft. Hopping on the wall as it had significantly more breaks than Venom alone did it but now the fused duo faced a challenge with the enlarged form they were no longer able to fit through the vents and Infamy wasn't interested in exposing themselves quite yet so Venom in all his wisdom said "If there is a way down there will always be a way up" as he began charging up the wall with reckless abandon. The air presses against their shared face as the wall cracks underneath the pressure and weight of their jumping.
"Do you even know what you are doing?" Infamy asked its weaker part "No not entirely but that's always been the fun part!" "Can't argue with that fact" It wasn't until they reached level fifty-eight that Venom paused peeling open the metal doors and crouching their head just to get on the floor they prepared themselves a straight shot through the window they ran each step an echoing pound of weight and presence. First, there was the run then the contact, and finally, the breach as they felt the cool air hit their bodies a building right across shooting tendrils as they pulled themselves closer making contact with the wall. Still, before they could begin the climb up they heard what they expected to hear: "AAAH" High-pitched screams let them know they didn't need to look back; they had to escape; they climbed leaping upwards and then turning into running. As fear gripped them as…. wait fear they weren't afraid so who "Aah Shit" the fusion said, "he's awake". The terror was indescribable. Kaneki felt confused. The scream woke him up but he could see he could see but it felt as though his eyes were covered with tinted glass. He tried to scream and do anything he but he couldn't control anything that was happening "Calm down Ken" Venom commanded "You are going to trip us up" "VENOM what the hell is going on" kens demanded as his fear increased Venom ran and hopped from building to building with no explanation given it wasn't until they found an ally the fell into did Venom uncovered Ken to let him out his fear and confusion "WHA what what did you do to me" his breath labored and panic bags under his eyes "listen I just needed to do something I didn't think you were gonna wake up so it's on you really," V said with casualness Ken couldn't breathe all that Venom said got him more panicked "SO you think that… you get to dictate my life. Just Because we share a Body" his eyes filling with tears and his breath becoming more and more labored as his normal hands clutched the wall leaning with air barely passing through he collapsed against it with his ears ringing his emotions chaotic his eyes shut close tight his breathing his breathing his his, a soft sensation was felt in Kaneki's mind as a soft humming went through his ears as his vision became less foggy. He began to see the clear wall ahead as his breathing started to slow with humming becoming quieter and quieter "You are here you are safe" that voice reminded him of his mother yet not as silky or human. "Are you ready to talk yet?" this new distinct voice asked "Yeah yea I am" Slowly both a bronzy and black tentacled face appeared there was already a clear difference between these two entities one was Venom but the other was bronze mixed with black color with four sets of eyes and instead of the mouth is like that of a human it was vertical rather than horizontal visibly startling ken.
"Where did you come from," Ken asked with fear as tears leaked from his sockets " I was held prisoner until Venom found me and saved…" "I can't help you" Ken abruptly said "What" " I can't help you I don't know what you want but I'm not good enough to help You I'm just one teenager who can barely sustain life for himself and my sickly mom… so please just find someone else who can help you both of you better than I can because I don't want this!" Ken's emotions doubled in pressure and leaked through his hands onto the concrete as he cried in silence. Infamy looked in silence for a moment her voice balanced voice " look at me Kaneki" boy in question raised his head "Venom and I can't give you Peace but we can offer help, I know how your mother has suffered suffer because of a careless corporation to the point that she isn't capable of leaving the house because of her condition" Infamy allowing that information to be processed " I know that she struggles to do some of the simplest things how see take medication to keep her immune system strong" "How do you know all this" is his confusion more evident then his fear. "because i'm inside of your head I know you don't trust me or Venom especial after realizing that's he kept my existence from you but I know that there is a reason he stayed with you" Infamy said with seemingly genuine being sincerity.
"That doesn't mean anything he just states with be because it's convenient," Ken said as a matter of factly Infamy followed up by saying "Yet he had the perfect opportunity to leave you, and with a far more suitable Host the boys that tried jumping you or that childhood friend of yours yet he stayed with you." kens mind so confused and foggy "If there is something I do understand it's that your mother I one of the only things that keep you anchored to your life" "What if you never needed to worry about the health ever again she could be just like it once was," Venom finally said sounding like sweat honey Ken knew that they these things shouldn't be trusted hell they shouldn't even exist but they do so who was he to argue with reality. "So what do you say, let Infamy help your mother become her guardian angel when you aren't there." Venom finishes, The boy wanted to say no he needed to say he was supposed to say it but that two-letter word just wouldn't come out like it was being taken out of reach but he still refused to open his mouth. So Instead, he picked himself up realizing for the first time he didn't have shoes he sighed in irritation and walked out of the alley both aliens fusing back to his skin passing through the garbage as his feet no longer touched the ground. He looked down and his feet were enveloped in my shoes or at least something resembling shoes, now he just needed his phone dug into his pockets he couldn't feel it he sighed in irritation he left it at his desk he had to have. He walked out of the alley searching for his way home. *
Somewhere else* a man with semi-kempt white hair by the name of Chikara Masashi had been resting in his luxurious office looking over footage of an abnormal creature looking for something until the thing came across the symbiote that Masashi felt captivated one second the humanoid dark entity tried to smash the glass the next it chose to turn its enlarged fist turned to tendrils and precisely cracked the glass just enough so the glass wouldn't shatter. This was fascinating. Masashi in his mind could feel passionate about the potential these things could offer humanity in its fight against the ghouls. His face had a manic smile plastered on his face a ring sounded from his phone his smile gone now replaced with a dull irritated face reaching into the classy suit he saw the caller ID he faced Bareilly changed but if one looked closely enough they could almost see something not easily describable the best being determined. He answered Chikara began "I'm surprised you didn't call me earlier" It took a moment "You do understand that after this my ability to help will be limited by the authorities and potentially the C.C.G. will be investigating this matter". The distorted voice said "I do but that doesn't mean we should stop our progress I've seen to it myself that the Americans will offer their support in our research" Masashi said with bland optimism "We have already transferred the separated remnants of U.A.O (Unidentified Alien Object/Organism) subject zero to our underground facility in America believe me I have no intentions of failing Sir." a longer silence followed "Send your best researchers to your facility I'll send a representative in your place to observe and oversee your research and in the meantime return to japan we need to find these abominations before anyone else can the press will simply presume it was a ghoul with all the destruction caused and it being larger than most humans." " I understand but how will I be able to deal with the symbiotes" almost sounding uncertain the voice said "I have associates perhaps you will be seeing them.. Soon." The call ended leaving Masashi sighing and feeling desperate for sleep he already anticipated something like this occurring but he didn't anticipate the results "I will Bridge the gap in human evolution I will make you proud Mom I'll avenge your death my hands will never falter or tremble again because with this power I, ll kill the ghouls ever….last….one".
A/N So Here is the plan for Infamy I am not entirely sure who I should give her to but at least for a while she won't have a human host until I can fully figure out how this system works I'll just let all of you think of the two obvious options iv laid out and give me a reason on why your opinion the way that it is keep in mind these two aren't the only options in terms of how this could affect the story. Also, I know that at the beginning I wasn't very clear on the gender of infamy the reason being I didn't know what form they would take, and the only reason I referred to them as a she is because being a stronger symbiote than Venom she has far more understanding on the bonding process and another thing she when ken started having a panic attack she manipulated her voice to sound as it was his mother's voice to calm him down because symbiotes, unlike humans, don't have assign gender just wanted to clear that up.
