"I thought you said this guy was a master of disguise." Ianto stood, arms folded, looking at the small alien being.

"He is," Jack said with a grin.

"If this is a disguise, it's not a very impressive one."

The alien, who resembled the greys of Rowell fame, blinked its large, black, oval eyes at Ianto. "This disguise has served me very well on my visits to your world," it said in perfect English. "It's simple and effective, since most humans believe such aliens to be a myth. When they look at me, they automatically assume they're seeing things due to consuming too much alcohol or other substances with hallucinogenic properties. I have had some fascinating conversations."

"I'm sure you have, but you're not exactly inconspicuous."

"This is not my only disguise." Reaching for some kind of concealed seam, the alien opened its costume, thick fur bulging outwards as it peeled off the suit it was wearing and loomed over Ianto, suddenly twice the Welshman's height. "How about this one?" it asked in a deep, booming voice before unzipping the disguise and stepping out again, this time as a spindly insectoid. "Or this one?"

Ianto blinked. "Okay, now I'm impressed."
