A.I.M. and Fire
Okay people, let's take it from the top, one last time...
My name Benjamin Parker, but you can just call me Ben. My dad, Peter Parker, was bit by a radioactive spider, and he became the one and only...Spider-Man. I'm pretty sure you know the rest. He fought the occasional street thugs, saved a few pedestrians, tried to make a difference in the beautiful city of New York.
Things got hectic for my dad when he was asked by none other than Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, to bring down Captain America and his band of rogue Avengers in Germany, due to the Sakovia Accords. He got a sweet new suit out of it, and was able to gain some recognition to his hero. After that it was the usual beat up street thugs, but with a twist due to fighting a super villain called the Vulture. When he was taken down, he was made an offer to officially join the Avengers, but turned it down, wanting to stay close to the ground, you know, as a 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.'
That all changed when...he...appeared.
Thanos. The Mad Titan. He and his forces came to Earth in search of these crystals called the Infinity Stones, and would use them to end half of all life in the universe, as part of his insane belief in balancing the universe. My dad, the rest of the Avengers, and this other group called the Guardians of the Galaxy, fought him to make sure that he wouldn't accomplish his goals...
...though they ultimately failed.
Thanos gathered the stones, and wiped out half of all life on Earth with a snap of his fingers...my parents being two of them. It was thanks to the surviving members of the Avengers that they were able to use something called the Quantum Realm and travel through time to get back the Infinity Stones to bring everyone who died from the snap back to life, including my dad.
Although, Thanos from the past followed them and tried to get the stones back from them to not destroy half of all life, but to rewrite the universe for his benefits. A great battle took place from all heroes of the universe against Thanos' army. The battle was hard fought, with the heroes coming out on top, but at the cost of a great sacrifice.
Tony Stark snapped his own fingers with the stones and was able to wipe out Thanos and his army. The energy was too much for him to handle and he died.
After that, my dad was filled with grief, but Tony saw something in him, and wanted him to be better than he was, sort of becoming the new 'Iron Man' of the Avengers, though he was more focused on trying to get together with my mom, named MJ. He hit a bit of a snag, however, when this guy named Mysterio came by and tricked him into giving him control over armed drones and unleashed them on London.
To make matters worse, the guy totally outed my dad's secret identity as Spider-Man to the whole world. He was also framed for murdering Mysterio, but thanks to his connections to the Avengers, he was able to clear his name and expose Mysterio for the fraud he was. He and my mom got together and he tried to live his life as a teenager going to high school and a superhero, even everyone knew his identity.
That was thirty years ago...
My dad's now retired as Spider-Man, but I'm taking up the mantle now. It's not just me, most of the children of the previous Avengers took up the mantle of their parents after their parents retired. Now we're led by Morgan Stark, daughter of Tony Stark, as the new Avengers team. Fighting bad guys and keeping the world safe.
Kind of like what we're about to do right now...

Three vans drove down the streets of New York at steady speeds, attempting to not attract any attention. The drove towards a closed gate where it led to what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse. When the gate opened, the three vans drove up and parked in the front of the warehouse where many armed guards exited the building.
What none of them realized, was that they were being watched. A man wearing a black and red body suit with two large white eye lenses, and a small black spider logo on his, watched the group of shady individuals. This was Ben Parker, the new Spider-Man. He was sticking to the side of a building and his mask allowed him to zoom in on the group.
(AN: The suit he's wearing is the same suit from Far From Home)
"Looks like that lead was right, Karen." Spider-Man said to the A.I. built into his suit. "These guys look like they're getting ready for a party."
"I don't think that any parties allow military grade weapons." Karen responded.
"Figure of speech." Spider-Man said as he then zoomed in on the vans, as men and women exited them, also looking very well armed. The lead van's doors opened and the only person to exit it was wearing was a man with sleeked back blonde hair and wearing a white business suit. "Karen, see if you can get any intel on that guy."
Karen did just that as her facial recognition software scanned the man's face before all of his information was displayed from the hero's point of view.
What he read, caused the hero's eyes to widen in surprise. "Wait a minute...Aldrich Killian? I thought Morgan's dad took this guy down?" Spider-Man asked in surprised.
"Technically, it was her mother." Karen corrected, before reading the info. "He was head of an organization known as Advanced Idea Mechanics, as well as head of the Extremis Project, which gave the individual deadly powers. He took Morgan's mother, Pepper Potts-Stark, and gave her the Extremis formula. She and Mr. Stark battled him and it was said that he died via a small missile explosion, though a body was never recovered."
"I heard Extremis gives people insane regenerative properties, so maybe a missile wasn't enough. Might also explain why he looks like he hasn't aged that much." Spider-Man said as he saw Killian shake an armed man's hand and they entered the warehouse. "Looks like he's the buyer of whatever these guys are selling."
Spider-Man launched a web line swung towards the warehouse, landing on the roof, and peaked through the skylight to see what was happening. He saw Killian talking to the armed mercenaries with his men standing behind him, with a various weapons and machinery spread across various tables. There was even a large device on the other side of the warehouse, with a tarp covering it up.
"Let's get a closer look." Spider-Man whispered as a little spider drone popped out of his logo and flew in. This allowed him to get a clear visual and audio on whatever was going down.
"Look, this has been a lovely 'show and tell' you've got going on." Killian said sarcastically to the mercenaries. "But A.I.M. is looking for something with a bit more...flare."
"Listen pal, what I've got here is state of the art. Most of these are recovered from various illegal labs working on technology from the Incident." The lead mercenary said with a glare.
"The "Incident" was decades ago. That's old news, and I'm looking for something new." Killian said dismissively as he reached into a crate on the side and pulled put what looked like a robot head. "I mean, come on, what the hell is this?"
"Picked that tin can years ago from the remnants of Sokovia. Damage Control thought they got all the pieces, but they've missed a few." The mercenary said proudly, before Killian just tossed it to the side dismissively. "Hey, easy there. Just because you don't want it doesn't mean another buyer won't."
Killian ignored that comment as he eyed the large device beneath the tarp. "Now what about that thing? Why the dramatic secrecy?"
The lead mercenary just smiled as he pulled the tarp away. "This is my crowning achievement. It took a lot of effort to sneak this under the radar, but my men were able to pick it up in an abandoned Hydra base."
Killian eyed the device as it was revealed. It appeared to look like something out of that old Stargate movie, with a large platform beneath what looked like a giant mechanical ring.
Killian eyed the device a few more seconds before looking at the lead mercenary with an expectant look. "Well? What is it?"
"You mean you don't know?" The mercenary asked.
"So you don't know either." Killian said with disappointment, at these guy's incompetence.
"It's Hydra technology, that means that it's worth something." The mercenary argued, never noticing the flying spider drone flying close to the ceiling.
"Anything Hydra related is bad news." Spider-Man said as he recalled the drone and was about ready to jump in. "Time to crash this party."
"Shall I activate Instant Kill?" Karen asked with a hint of...eagerness?
"No, Karen. No Instant Kill." Spider-Man said with a sigh. His dad always warned him about his suits slight tendency to request that mode. He never understood why, it was almost like she was obsessed in a way.
Spider-Man jumped down right through the window and landed right in front of the lead mercenary. "Hey, mind if I crash in?"
The mercenary didn't give a chance to respond as Spider-Man punched him in the face, sending him to the floor. The other mercenaries pointed their weapons at him, but the hero leapt into the air and fired various webs to snag their weapons out of their hands and tossed them aside.
Spider-Man landed back on the ground and avoided a punch from one of the mercs and kicked him back, causing him to crash into one of his allies. Another came in, brandishing a knife and tried to slice at him, but the hero managed to dodge each slash. He grabbed the wrist of the mercenary, then fired a webline at the ceiling, then attached it to the guy's chest, sending him into the air and sticking to the ceiling. Another merc came in, but Spider-Man hopped over him and planted a double kick right in the back of his head, sending him face first into the ground.
Seeing that the normal mercenaries were taken care of, Spider-Man turned to see Killian and his eight soldiers were about to walk out the door. When the leader of A.I.M. placed his hand on the door handle, Spider-Man shot out some web and ensnared his hand on the handle.
"What's the matter? Leaving the party early?" Spider-Man quipped.
"Oh, you know, I just hate bloodshed." Killian said nonchalantly.
"Says the guy who turned his test subjects into living bombs." Spider-Man retorted.
Killian just chuckled as he looked at his hand. It then began to glow orange and exert heat, causing the webbing to melt off him, setting him free.
"Evolution is the pinnacle of perfection. That's something Stark was never able to see. He decided to place Earth's fate in the hands of machines and circus freaks parading in costumes." Killian said as he took off his blazer and the rest of his soldiers just tossed their guns away and glared at the hero. "And now his brat is trying to uphold his supposed 'legacy.' After Thanos, what else do you think might happen to us, what if it's not just going to be half of life, but instead all of it."
"A.I.M. is the future." Killian said as his eyes, as well as the eyes of all his men, started to glow orange. "And I am it's oracle."
Spider-Man just stared at him before shaking his head. "Do you even hear the stuff that comes out of your mouth?"
Killian just chuckled before turning to his soldiers. "Do me a favor and rip this guy's arms off."
That was all that was needed to be said, as one of the soldiers charged right at the hero. The guy tried to hit him, but Spider-Man dodged the attack and delivered a punch of his own, sending the guy back. Another Extremis soldier charged in and tried to hit the hero few times, but he maneuvered out of the way. Before Spider-Man could retaliate the first soldier grabbed him by the shoulder and tossed him in the air.
Spider-Man was sent flying, but he launched a webline at one of the rafters and swung downward, delivering a kick to the first soldier, sending him crashing into the wall. Another one came in and Spider-Man kicked him back, only for another soldier to pop in and tried to punch him. Spider-Man leapt over him to avoid the punch, all the while shooting a web at his fist and giving a good yank, causing the soldiers own fist to hit him in the face.
Spider-Man turned around to face the next guy, only for it to be Killian as he delivered an enhanced palm strike to his chest, sending the hero crashing into the wall. Spider-Man got back up and tried to punch him, but Killian just deflected each hit before it could connect. He grabbed Spider-Man's wrist and delivered a headbutt, causing the hero stagger back.
Two soldiers came in from both sides, but Spider-Man jumped above them and delivered a spin kick to both of them, sending them onto the ground. A soldier came in from behind, but Spider-Man's spidey sense alerted him of the danger and he fired a web shot over his shoulder, hitting the guy in the face, blinding him. Spider-Man then delivered a couple of punches to the Extremis soldier, and followed it up with a double kick.
Spider-Man then launched a webline on one of the soldiers chest and then flung him right at Killian, who just grabbed him and threw him to the side effortlessly. Spider-Man charged at Killian again and the two exchanged blows, but Killian kicked him on the chest, staggering him back. One of the Extremis soldiers came in from behind and delivered a low sweep kick, sending the hero to the ground. Before Spider-Man could get back up Killian grabbed by the neck and lifted him up with his feet dangling off the ground.
"You know, you put up a good fight." Killian said as Spider-Man tried to get out of his grip. "I might've had the smallest of respect for you, if you weren't such a snot nosed punk."
"I tend to...have that affect on people." Spider-Man grunted as he tried to pry Killian's fingers off his throat.
Killian then held up his pointer finger on his free hand at it began to glow bright orange with extreme heat. "Extremis was able melt right through Stark's armor, so let's see what happens to the human skull." Killian held up his finger right in the middle of the hero's forehead. "Any last words?"
"Give me a minute to think it over?" Spider-Man asked.
"And that was your last word." Killian said as he brought his finger closer to the hero's head.
All of a sudden, something cleaved right through the metal wall of the warehouse, and flew right between Killian and Spider-Man. The moment it flew past them, both of Killain's arms were cut clean off, releasing Spider-Man from his grip, and jumping away. Everyone turned to see what cut Killian's arms, and saw a large sword imbedded in the ground. The door to the warehouse was busted down and the people turned to see who entered.
It was a man, who looked to be in his late twenties, with short blonde hair, light skin, a bit of a blonde stubble on his face, wearing silver armor over a grey vest, and had a red cape over his shoulders. The man held put his hand and the large sword flew right of the ground and into his hands, shocking the A.I.M. soldiers. This man's name is Erik Foster, son of the thunder god Thor.
Spider-Man grinned under his mask. "Hey Erik, you just passing through?"
"Well we heard a commotion and just wanted to check it out." Erik said with a shrug and a grin on his face.
"Wait, 'we?'" Spider-Man asked.
Suddenly, orange sparks appeared next to Erik, till it enlarged to to create a swirling portal, when someone new stepped out of it. He was a man who also looked to be in his late twenties, with dark hair and light skin, wearing a blue outfit that and had a red cloak we his shoulder that had a high-collar. This newcomer was named Vincent Strange, son of the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, though he goes by his father's codename as well.
"Hey Doc, glad you could join the fun." Spider-Man quipped.
"Yeah, well it looks like you needed a little help." Doctor Strange said as he used magic to wield Tao Mandalas in both his hands.
"Are you kidding, I totally had that handled." Spider-Man lightly fibbed.
"Well isn't that cute." Killian said with a sneer as he glanced at Spider-Man while his arms were growing back. "You brought a couple of playmates."
"Aldrich Killian." Erik said sternly as he glared at the A.I.M. leader and readied his sword. "We're here to accept your surrender."
"Surrender?" Killian asked like they were insane while his Extremis soldiers heated themselves up. "In case you haven't noticed, you freaks are outnumbered."
Erik gave a sigh of disappointment as he glanced at Strange. "Why can't they ever just surrender?"
"What'd you expect from your stereotypical dumbasses?" Strange said sarcastically.
Killian heard that comment and growled in anger before looking at his men. "Kill them!"
The soldiers charged right at the heroes; three of them going for Erik, another three going for Spider-Man, and two of them attacking Strange.
Strange blocked each of the soldiers attacks with his Mandalas and kicked one of them in the midsection. The other soldier did a high kick, but Strange leapt back and actually floated high above the ground. He waved his hands in a circular motion and a portal appeared beneath the soldiers feet, causing him to fall in screaming. The echo of the scream was heard outside as, all of a sudden, the same soldier crashed right through the ceiling window and hit the floor hard. The other soldier charged in as soon as Strange landed on the ground and used his magic to create a whip in his hands. He lashed put the whip, ensnaring the man's legs, and sent the guy flying in the air, causing his head to hit the rafters above, and knocking him out.
Erik simply blocked a fist coming at him from one of the soldier and tossed him aside, sending him crashing right through the wall. Another soldier came in and kicked Erik in the stomach, but the demigod barely even stumbled. Erik delivered a kick of his own which packed a lot more force, sending the soldier flying. The third soldier attempted to punch Erik, but he just grabbed his fist and used his sword to cut the soldier's arm off, causing him to scream in pain. Erik delivered an elbow strike to the soldier's head, knocking him out.
Spider-Man used his agility to dodge each strike from the three soldiers attacking him. He deflected a hit from one of them and shot some web on his face, blinding him. Spider-Man delivered multiple strikes on the soldier then kicked him high in the air, following it up by shooting two weblines on his chest, then slamming him down on the ground hard. Spider-Man dodged another strike from the second Extremis soldier and punched him in the face multiple times, then kicked him in the air and followed it up with another kick as he was coming down. His spidey-sense tingled and he did a back flip to kick the soldier coming at him from behind. While he was in the air he launched two weblines next to the soldier and slingshot himself down, slamming the soldier into the ground.
Seeing that all of the Extremis soldiers were taken care of, the three Avengers members gathered together and faced off against Killian. The leader of A.I.M. glared angrily at the three heroes for ruining his plans, and his anger reflected off him from his body glowing orange with heat.
"Well, like my dad always said, "if you want to take care of someone, burn them yourself!"" Killian exclaimed as he then started to breath fire at them.
Strange made a shield to protect them from the fire. Spider-Man leapt above the shield and launched a webline to swung down, delivering a kick that sent Killian into the air. Erik followed that up by jumping high into the and slammed Killian into the wall. As they slid back down to the ground and got back up, Killian delivered punch to Erik's face, but the demigod still held strong and kneed him in the stomach. He then tossed him into the where Spider-Man launched webline and Strange used a magic whip to latch onto the villain and slam him into the ground.
Killian tried to get back up, but Strange brought his hands together and conjured up glowing red chains and had them wrap around Killian. The head of A.I.M. tried to break free, but even with his enhanced strength, the chains still held strong.
"You think this can hold me?! Advanced Idea Mechanics will continue its research for the evolution of humanity, and there is nothing you can-" Killian ranted before Erik came up and slapped a device on his mouth, creating a clamp to silence him.
"Shut up." Erik said with a groan of annoyance.
"Thank you. My ears were staring to bleed from all his ranting." Spider-Man said as he and Strange started to tie down the other soldiers with webs and magic chains.
"At least we managed to take them down before any of them could make off with this stuff." Erik said as he inspected all the weapons.
"How'd you guys knew I was here?" Spider-Man asked.
"Morgan contacted us when she heard you were going to face these guys by yourself." Vincent answered.
"You know, she doesn't have to act like a mother hen all the time." Spider-Man said with a slight pout.
"You complaining?" Erik said with a smirk.
Spider-Man smiled beneath his mask and fist-bumped his demigod friend. "No way, I appreciate your guy's help."
Vincent walked up to the large device and gave it an inquisitive look. "So what's this thing?"
"I don't know, but I overhead one of the mercenaries saying that it was designed by Hydra." Spider-Man answered.
"Hydra? Those guys have been gone for a long time." Erik said in confusion.
"This wasn't made recently." Spider-Man said as he took a closer look at the large device. "This tech is pretty old, like almost a century old. If I had to guess, I'd say it was made...around WWII."
"That could explain what I'm sensing." Vincent said with him waving his hand while it was glowing. "I'm feeling a strong residual of cosmic energy. It sort of feels like...the energy of an Infinity Stone?!" Vincent exclaimed in shock.
"But those were destroyed, my dad said so himself!" Erik exclaimed in shock.
"Maybe not a stone itself, but it's energy." Spider-Man theorized as he opened a hatch to pear inside it. He could see these many tubes that had traces of blue energy within it. "Didn't that guy who used to lead Hydra, Red Skull, used the Tesseract, and didn't that hold an Infinity Stone?"
"Yes, but I'm feeling a slight trace of something else as well." Vincent with an inquisitive look on his face. "I just can't tell what it is."
Then, without warming, the large ringed device started to hum as it it seemed to be activated. The large ring started to glow traces of blue and what appeared to be a portal appeared within the ring.
"Ben!" Erik and Vincent exclaimed at their fellow Avenger.
"I didn't touch anything, I swear!" Spider-Man exclaimed as he raised his hands up in the air.
The portal from the device started to swirl more violently as things started to get sucked into it, including all the tech from the warehouse. Spider-Man even felt like he was getting pulled in as he launched a webline to the wall to hold him, and Erik stabbed his sword into the ground to have him stay put. Vincent didn't have anything to hold him down as he started to slowly get pulled into the portal.
"Hang on, Vincent!" Spider-Man exclaimed as he launched a webline to the sorcerer's back, holding him back. The suction of the vortex started to increase as Spider-Man could see his webline attached to the wall was starting to tear. "Uh oh."
Soon the webline snapped off and both Spider-Man and Strange were sent towards the portal.
"Looks like we're going through the Stargate!" Spider-Man exclaimed before he and Vincent were sucked in.
"Guys!" Erik exclaimed in shock. He looked on towards the portal with a worried glance, before giving a sigh of resignation and looked up into the sky. "All-Fathers, give me strength." With that said, Erik removed the sword from the ground and flew into the portal after his friends.
With the final Avenger entering the portal, the machine started to shoot out sparks until it finally shut down.
The warehouse was bare and empty, with nothing left inside it.

"Ben...Ben...BEN!"
Spider-Man groaned as he started to wake up, but was feeling an odd sensation. It felt like a rush of air flew right past him at great speeds. He opened his eyes and could see why he was feeling that.
He was in free fall.
"AAAAAAHHHHH!" Spider-Man screamed as he tried to search for something to launch a web at, so he wouldn't go splat on the upcoming ground.
"Hang on!" Spider-Man looked to the side to see Erik flying right towards him and grabbing onto his arm. "I got ya, buddy!"
Vincent was also flying right towards them and summoned a large Tao Mandala right beneath, causing them to land sooner and survive their fall. They all groaned in slight discomfort as they all got up and stood on the magic platform.
"Well, I don't think I wanna go on that ride again." Spider-Man said with a groan.
"Just be glad we're still alive." Erik said as he popped a few joints from the rough landing.
"Uh...guys." Vincent said in a slightly troubled tone as he looked off into the distance.
Erik and Spider-Man, who removed his mask to reveal a young man with brown eyes and dark brown hair with lightly tanned skin, stared off in to the distance. Each of them had a troubled, shocked, and a hint of amazement on their faces.
Off in the distance, they could see many tall buildings as far as the eye could see, along with what looked like hundreds of flying cars flying in between buildings almost like they were driving down freeways. They looked above them and saw large structures in the air and could see various stars in the distance.
Almost like they were staring into actual space.
"Guys...I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." Ben said in a troubled, but slightly amazed tone.

AN: Hey guys, I am super excited for this story!
Recently I got back into the Mass Effect video game franchise, especially since I found out the original trilogy is compatible with the XboxOne. So I was originally going to have it be a crossover with the Mandalorion, but I didn't feel like that had enough flare to it. So I decided to combine it with the MCU, but with a twist of it being my own version of the MCU in the future.
So, just so you're not confused, my MCU future takes place thirty years after Avengers: Endgame and Spder-Man: Far From Home, and it will not feature anything that came after that. Now, that also includes the Disney+ shows since they aren't out yet, but when they do come out and they don't contradict what I have planned for this story, I might make those canon in my story and implement elements into it.
Now, to introduce the original characters that were just introduced.
Ben Parker: Son of Peter Parker and MJ.
Erik Foster: Son of Thor and Jane Foster
Vincent Strange: Son of Stephen Strange and Christine Palmer
I decided to start the story with these guys as Spider-Man, Thor, and Doctor Strange are three of my favorite heroes in the MCU. I thing the universe of Mass Effect is really going to get a kick out of what these three can do. More future generation of heroes will make their appearance as the story continues, but I'm going to start off with these three.
So this will start off a couple of months before the start of Mass Effect 1 so the three heroes can get a feel on how things work out on this universe. With them being here, as well as other here's appearing, this is going to have some major consequences in Mass Effect, it will start off small, until things really start to change.
That's all I have to say for now, and I hope you guys like the first chapter.
With that said, stay safe and stay healthy, and I'll see you all for the next chapter!
