In this fanfic, Percy Jackson's universe shares the world with DC universe

Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon had the ability to find himself in the strangest situations. But this time it was stranger than usual.

Because Jackson found himself wrapped in a pile of wet leaves while tied up with several vines, inside some kind of abandoned greenhouse, and the air was thick with the smell of damp earth and... something distinctly herbaceous with something else in the air.

How did he end up like this?

The answer was that a few hours ago, the son of the sea had been strolling through the dark streets of Gotham city, while the rain relentlessly pounded the pavement.

But at one point, he was wandering the seedier parts of Gotham, following a trail that had led him deeper and deeper into the city's infamous criminal underworld, because Sally Jackson's son was sent on a mission again by the gods of Olympus (or in Percy's opinion during the last few months, the irresponsible slackers) and other beings, because they had begun to sense something strange in the dark city…

And the next he was unceremoniously thrown into a pile of wet leaves, with his arms and legs tied with thick vines, to be dragged to this place, while some thorns of the strange vines stuck with his skin and apparently had a kind of toxin, because they numbed him a little along the way.

But now inside the strange greenhouse, it didn't take long for the savior of Olympus to realize that the source of the plants seeming to have a life of their own was the woman who had been watching him from the shadows, though what the black-haired man didn't know was that the woman had been watching him since he had set foot in Gotham.

"Who are you?" he asked, his voice somewhat muffled by the vines in his mouth. "And why am I tied up like a Christmas turkey in your gardening den?"

A female voice responded: "You are a friend. A friend of the Earth… of the plants"

Percy's brow furrowed. "I don't think we've met," he said cautiously. His eyes glimpsed the silhouette of the woman moving in the darkness until she emerged from it. She was a woman with green eyes and a wild mane of red hair. She was at least a decade older than him and wore vines, but her skin was a shade of green, with a faint green luminescence. He recognized her instantly.

She was Pamela Isley, better known as Poison Ivy thanks to national and international newscasts. She was a notorious eco-terrorist with the ability to control plants and even manipulate their DNA, and Percy had first heard of her almost ten years ago during a weekend he was having breakfast while his mother was watching the news. It was no secret that she had a superhuman affinity for plants (as if she were a particularly powerful daughter of Demeter), although with the plants toxic and deadly, not to mention it was clear that she had used her abilities to trap him, followed by bringing him to her lair.

"But we do, kid," she said with a purr, in a voice as seductive as it was deadly. "You are one of the few who can understand the needs of the Earth. You share her life… her power"

Percy was taken aback. Sally Jackson's son had only felt his connection to his father's domain, to storms, horses, the ocean, the wild sea, and so on. He had never felt any particular affinity for the earth other than causing tremors or earthquakes. So he had a growing suspicion that Poison Ivy was confusing him with someone else… or something… else…

"I'm not sure I understood," Percy said hesitantly. before adding "And I'm not a kid."

Poison Ivy laughed, a sound that the son of the sea found peculiarly pleasant. She moved closer to him, her eyes shining with interest and curiosity. "You're young, boy" Ivy said softly. "But you have a lot to teach the world"

Percy tensed up a little. This was not right. But he wasn't going to explain to Poison Ivy that he was the son of the Sea God, not a mystical ecological warrior. He would have to find a way to knock her down or escape and fast.

But first he had to buy some time. "You say I can teach the world?" he asked. "Tell me, what do you want me to teach them?"

She smiled, but her eyes had a strange intensity, an almost hypnotic appeal. "The world needs to understand its own power" he said in a low, hoarse voice. "The Earth needs to learn how to fight for herself."

Percy was starting to get an idea of what she wanted…

She wanted him to help her spread her message, to unleash the wrath of Earth upon the human world. A shiver ran down his spine, he had enough with his great-grandmother Gaia, he didn't need to deal with an ecological madwoman. He had to get out of here.

"And why me exactly, ma'am?" He said slurring, trying to sound indifferent that it was something difficult with the vine in his mouth "I don't know what she wants from me, but..."

Ivy smiled again, her eyes shining with amusement. "Oh, Percy," she said, shaking her head, "You really have no idea how special you are." She moved closer, her eyes shining with that interest as she moved closer to him and before he knew it, the vines binding him began to unravel, one by one. When his head and mouth were free, she gently ran a finger along his cheek, her touch as soft as silk.

"That's it," she purred, "That's better."

Percy coughed, trying to regain his composure and remove the taste left by the vine in his mouth.

"In the world there are beings like me. Individuals who have a deep connection with the land, with nature, with vegetation." She paused for a moment, and a distant look appeared in his eyes. "But they're very hard to find... and you have that connection."

Percy frowned, not knowing how to respond, other than now wondering how she knew his name. "Well, I mean, I like nature and all that, but..."

"You and I, Percy, are two sides of the same coin," she interrupted him as she moved closer and her breath tickled his ear. Although she gave Percy a chill.

Only in no way was she right, but there was something undeniably appealing about the way she spoke. Her voice was like a sweet, intoxicating poison, and he couldn't help but want more, but then Jackson's mind decided to ignore the closeness and encouragement of the red-haired woman, so he could focus

"And...?" Percy said after a few seconds, his voice slightly muffled as he said those words, at least until his mind cleared a little and he asked "what do you want from me"

Ivy smiled, her eyes shining mischievously. "Oh, Percy," she purred, running her fingers through his hair. "I want to show you the world as I see it. I want to share my power with you, and I want you to share yours with me." She stepped back a little to look at him for a moment with an appraising look. "Together, we could be unstoppable."

Percy couldn't help but one more time, he felt a chill run down his spine at her words. There was something undeniably appealing about her voice. "And what would I get out of this?" he asked, trying to sound casual.

Ivy smiled again, "Percy" she said, slurring her voice and moving closer until her face was right in front of Jackson "I could show you things you've only dreamed of. Teach you to use your power, to control it... And in return, the only thing I ask of you is that you trust me and that you let yourself be free." She ran a finger over his jaw and gave him chills. "Together, we could fix this world."

Percy found it difficult to concentrate on her words. The way she spoke, the way she touched him... It was intoxicating. However, a small voice in the back of his mind warned him to be careful, to concentrate and react.

Although the son of the sea realized that she didn't know that he was a demigod, but he also wondered that if so, why she was so interested in him?. Percy also wondered if some of his father's lesser-known domains that were related to plant life was what Poison Ivy felt in him, because Poseidon's son vaguely remembered that the ash tree was his father's sacred tree... or was it the pine?

But he remembered more clearly that the day the god Pan vanished, part of what little power was left to the god who was the son of Hermes, entered into what they witnessed his death, especially in Grover, "is that what she feels?" Percy mentally asked himself.

He took a deep breath, trying to collect his thoughts. "That all sounds ... wonderful…" he managed to say, though his voice wasn't as clear, "But... what's in it for you?"

Ivy smiled, her eyes shining with amusement. "I already told you Percy... Help me fix the world"

"It can't just be that, isn't there something else?... Something else you want?" Percy responded, his mind fighting against whatever was trying to cloud his thoughts and concentration.

She came even closer and said with a purr purr "what makes you think there has to be something for me?" Her fingers slid across his chest, caressing the fabric of his shirt.

"Everyone wants something"

"Hhmm... Maybe... I could have other reasons... Maybe… I just want to enjoy the company of someone as special as you... Maybe I would like the challenge of bending someone with the same power as me to my will." She said every word with her warm breath against his ear.

Her words once again sent a shiver down Percy's body. He tried to move away, to resist her seductive charms, but it was useless when she began to nibble on his ear, before giving him small kisses until she reached his mouth.

Her kiss was like a drug, and he found himself losing control of himself. However, when her lips met his, she felt a surge of power run through her, a wild and untamed energy that made her feel invincible, he on the other hand could feel some power of Poison Ivy over the plants. Percy knew, deep down, that he was playing a dangerous game at the moment, but he couldn't help but be attracted to her, he wanted her.

But again he could feel what Percy could describe as a little voice or an instinct telling him to fight, to resist. And the son of the sea did it, but not in the way that part of himself was trying to say.

Percy fought against her tongue, refusing to let her dominate the kiss. He used all his strength, all his will, to push her back, overcoming the control she seemed to have over him. He could feel her surprise, her frustration as he challenged her with his gaze.

Her lips curled into a grimace of annoyance as she pulled away, breaking the kiss. "You underestimate me" Jackson growled, his voice low and dangerous, "I'm not a puppet you can control." If the vines weren't still holding him, he would have moved in a threatening manner. "And you're not the only one who can play this game."

Percy wouldn't deny it, the last thing he said wasn't relevant to the situation he was in, plus he said it arrogantly

Poison Ivy's eyes flashed with anger and determination. She glared at him, her body tense and ready to spring into action. "Do you think you can resist me?" she hissed, now letting go of the subtlety "You don't know who you're up against, kid." But unconsciously she licked her lips, preparing for another assault. "But if you insist on fighting me, so be it."

As he shortened the distance between them, Percy felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins, which helped remove the haze from his mind, realizing that the eco-terrorist not only controls plants, but also seemed to have a power similar to that of some of Aphrodite's sons and daughters, although it did not seem to be exactly the same. Fortunately for him, he had developed some resistance from being harassed by sons and daughters of the goddess of love, the goddess herself, and a few other creatures from the Greco-Roman pantheon who didn't want his blood or kill him, but something else.

Little did the son of the sea know that now that he was 22 years old, his demigod body was much more resistant to several things than it was a few years ago, such as the poison on Ivy's lips, of which he had no idea.

He tried to prepare for his next move, determined not to be caught off guard again, intending to break free. He could feel that whatever was affecting him, was in the air, the adrenaline helped his senses that it became stronger with each passing moment. He took a deep breath, trying to clear his head, but unfortunately, he didn't have enough time before she was on him again.
