Seth held his breath as his alpha calmly guided him into the warm house. Seth's throat was dry as he looked into the man's dark eyes. They held so many emotions. Some he could recognize some he couldn't. Anger, sadness, confusion and yet there was a subtle gentleness.

Seth cringed when Sam's hand cupped his neck. It wasn't a chokehold per say but more like a protective hold on the back of his neck.

"Calm, pup" he soothed.

Once again, Seth felt his body relax. This man was his Alpha. His leader. He meant him no harm. He was his source of guidance.

Feeling his body relax, Sam continued to guide him further into the living room. Looking up, Seth was greeted by the sight of his sister.

His glowing older sister, who scent had his wolf bowing down. Something was different about her. Over the years her scent had consistently smelt like vampire. It pissed the pack off how strong the scent was, but they hadn't been able to do anything about it. Until now. Now the Cullen's and gone and his sister smelled wonderful. It was so freaking strong. So deliciously strong.

"B?"

"Seth?" she said in surprise.

"Hey big sis. Uh… you caused quite a stir." He greeted as his alpha held him just a little tighter.

"What do you mean?" she asked as she looked between, he and Sam.

"Well, the news is going around that Sam has kidnapped you, which is obviously not true. And I knew it wasn't True. He scared mom this morning when he was digging through the fridge. You know you could have just asked us to cook." He said as he looked at his alpha.

His alpha simply cocked his head to the side.

"Sit." He ordered.

Seth did and continued to look around. He hadn't seen this house since the day he helped his sister and dad move out.

"Is that why I awoke on the beach in my pajamas?" Bella questioned "Sounds like it. You also screamed in your sleep and that led to Sam taking you." Seth chuckled. "Soo… what's going on here?"

He then gestured between she and Sam, the latter who was still standing.

"Sam, honey come sit." Bella gestured.

Once again, Sam put a calming hand on Seth and proceeded to join Bella on the couch. He then lifted Bella up and placed her on his lap.

Seth coughed.

"Oh… that's right. Seth, Sam, and I are together. Like together as in mates." His sister told him.

"Ok. didn't see that coming. But ok… I'm happy for you both. "

Seth then turned to his alpha. The man was tall. Taller than Jacob and bigger than him too. He had scars all over his body. Deep ones, that look to be years old. He also had a sleeve of tattoos. They looked scary but looking into his Alpha's eyes, he knew the man cared.

"So, Alpha? Uh… Sam… is everything alright? What are we supposed to do?"

Right now, Seth needed guidance. Jacob wasn't doing his job and his wolf no longer trusted him. Unlike everyone else Seth was the youngest and still needed the touch and care of his alpha. Jacob didn't provide that. He barked orders and commands, but he didn't have Seth's respect.

"Pup." Sam hummed.

Seth jumped but stood rod straight. Sam stood as well, taking quick strides over to the dishearten and somewhat Sad wolf.

To his surprise, Sam pulled Seth's head to his own, so they were forehead to forehead.

"Proud of you pup." His Alpha rumbled.

Seth felt his heart soar. His wolf had been restless lately but hearing these words had him calm down. Like literally, his wolf was laying down AND Sam was cupping his face.

"But I didn't do anything?" he questioned.

Sam shook his head.

"Your smart and you stay in control well. Very proud ." Seth leaned into his alpha. A hum of content emitting from his lips.

"So, what do we do?" Seth questioned.

"We stay calm and… we eat?" he questioned as he looked back at Bella.

His sister chuckled.

"of course, I will cook you food Sam, how about another omelet."

Meanwhile, back in La Push, Joshua Uley sat on the clearwaterswan porch. A cigarette sitting idly in his hand.

He watched as the flames slowly fell unto floor.

"None of this makes sense." He murmured as he stared into the dark night.

His son had been lost. Lost for so long. and if what everyone was saying was true, he had been found.

They had seen him.

Joshua hadn't seen his son since birth. Not since Allison had taken him.

Flashback:

"Hey babe! Im home!" Joshua called as he threw his keys unto bowl next to the door.

"Babe?" he called again as he looked in the living room

"Joshua…"

Joshua turned to see his mother-in-law standing in the doorway.

"Beatrice? what are doing here? What's going on?"

"Come with me into the kitchen…" she said coldly.

Joshua followed her in confusion as they walked into the kitchen.

Sitting at the kitchen table was his soon to be ex-wife and threeyear-old son.

"Allison?" he questioned as he approached her.

However, his soon to be ex-wife turned her head refusing to look at her.

"Allison has told me about the contract you two came up with pending the divorce." Beatrice stated

"And?" he questioned looking between them.

"And Allison thinks that its ridiculous."

"You mean you think there ridiculous. "He accused his mother-inlaw.

"That is absurd, I am simply speaking for my daughters best interest, and this is what she has agreed upon. As of today, her items are packed, and she will be coming with me to California. The child will go as well."

"What!" Joshua shouted "first of all Beatrice you have nothing to do with this! Second of all, Allison and I had an agreement! My son isn't going anywhere!"

Beatrice shook her head.

"It is final, this is what Allison wants!"

"And why can't Allison speak for herself!" Joshua asked as he directed his eyes toward his wife.

Allison, however, shook her head and held their son just a little tighter.

"Moms, right." She murmured.

"What? Alison! You cant be serious!" Joshua responded.

He couldn't believe this. This was not apart of the deal. Allison wanted to the divorce, they tried to fight but it didn't work. So, they compromised. Joshua would give Allison the divorce she wonted but, she couldn't leave the state of Washington. He didn't care where she went in state, just as long he could see his son. Allison had been more then agreeable. Happy even and yet, here comes his nosy controlling mother-in-law.

"I am serious j. its just best if Sam and I go live with my mother. At least for a while." Allison responded as she stood.

Joshua felt his shoulders slump in defeat.

"You have to let me see my son." He whispered to her in anger.

"I will…"

But that day never came. For years, Allison refused to allow him to see his son. Even when he flew down to California, stood on her doorstep and begged.

The answer was no.

He took it to the courts, but no judge would grant he, a single father with low income to have custody of a child. Not to mention he was native American. The world had been against him the moment he entered it.

As the years went by, Joshua tried everything. Phone calls, letters, emails. Visiting. Nothing worked. He even went back to the courts but to no avail.

His son had been lost to him.

But it seemed like the spirits had other ideas. Imagine his surprise years later when he received a strange and yet surprising phone call.

"Hello." He answered tensely. He had just worked a double shift at his wood shop. he needed a good nap and a stiff beer.

"Hello." A deep and yet young voice greeted. "Um, im looking for a Joshua Uley"

"This is he and I am not interested in my cars warranty."

"No sir, im not with a car company. Um I don't know how to say this… but… my name is Samul u-"

Joshua cut him off as the glass in his hand fell and shattered.

"sam.." he sobbed.

"uh… yeah, um… dad.. its me. listen I know this is sudden but… im like driving to Washington as we speak… can i.. uh.. visit you?"

Joshua held back a sob.

"yes. Yes, you can son. You come right down here. You come and ill get you settled in."

"great… uh.. I cant wait to see you dad…"

"I cant wait to see you too son."

Joshua never did get to see him .

End flashback

"it wasn't your fault."

Looking up, Joshua met the eyes of Charlie swan.

"what you know about it?" he sneered.

Charlie rolled his eyes.

"don't give me those angry emotions just to keep me away. I hear you did that a lot. Anyway, sue told me what happened to you. it seems like you did everything you could. And from what I heard Sam wasn't angry at you at all."

"Charlie… I missed out… on everything…" Joshua confided.

"And that wasn't your fault! You didn't walk out on your son. Your exwife made that choice and she made it very hard for you to see him and yet, you didn't quit and look where it got you. your son was here. In my house. And… and maybe it's time you reached out to him."

"But how! He's feral!" Joshua moaned.

Charlie shook his head.

"I don't think so Josh. I think its just a tactic everyone has used to not face what they deem an issue. However, this morning I saw something shocking. Something that changed my perspective. My daughter was screaming bloody murder and crying an ocean. It was your son, who took her into his arms and comforted her. She was begging him not to leave. From the way he held her and soothed her frantic emotions. I don't think he's as lost as we think."

"so, what do we do?" Joshua asked

"We find them."
