Chapter 6

(Two days later)

Buffy wakes up smiling because Willow was staying in the spare room and Willow arrived last night and Buffy had already told Willow not to mention anything to everybody about the Klaus conversation that she had talked about with Willow and Klaus was still alive and Buffy had feelings for him.

(The Mikaelson house)

Buffy had gone to see Klaus because she needs to know more about Mary and she knocked on the door.

"Buffy." Klaus said as he opened the door.

"Hi I need to talk to you and I want to know about Mary please." Buffy said as she walks through the front door.

"Very well step into my office." Klaus said as he made his way to his office with Buffy.

Buffy sat down in Klaus's office to have a private conversation with him.

"Um can anybody else hear us when we talk about this?" Buffy asked him.

"No one can hear what we talk about love." Klaus said as he gave a smug smile.

"So what was Mary like?" Buffy asked him.

"Well she had a smile that could light up my world and she looked exactly like you." Klaus said with a grin.

"I don't understand that part of her looking like me." Buffy said rolling her eyes but she needs to know more.

"I think you're her doppelgänger love and she was a slayer." Klaus said as a memory popped into his head.

(Flashback)

Klaus watched Mary fight a vampire and he smiles at her and she spin kicks the vampire and front flips over him and kicking him from behind then kills him.

Klaus smiled as he watched her turn to look at him and she walked over to kiss him.

"I'm very happy you get to watch me fight vampires." Mary said.

"You're extraordinary for the first slayer love and it amazes me." Klaus said.

(Today)

"She was the first slayer wasn't she" Buffy asked Klaus.

"Yes she was and I was in a very dark place when she was killed." Klaus said as he was heartbroken for the first time in 1000 years.

"How did she die?" Buffy asked him.

"She was killed by Michael and that is when I killed a human love and then I triggered my werewolf curse." Klaus said.

"Wait why?" Buffy asked as she is curious.

"You need to understand that I didn't get to love Mary for 1000 years like I had planned but I only had a short of amount of time with her until Michael found me and my family in New Orleans and that is when he killed her right in front of me with an old friend I had adopted." Klaus said as he looked at Buffy.

"I'm really sorry that had happened to you Klaus." Buffy said as she felt bad for him.

"But then something changed on January 19th 1981." Klaus said and Buffy looked at him shocked as that was her birthday and the day that she was born.

"That's the day that I was." Buffy said as she looked shocked and couldn't speak.

"That's the day you were born and destiny came back to me." Klaus said as he looked at Buffy.

"What do you mean?" Buffy asked as she didn't know what to do or say.

"That day you were born Buffy had made us destined to be together." Klaus said as he is determined to make her his.

"I can't and I'm supposed to kill you and this can never happen and I will never be yours." Buffy said as she stood up cause she didn't want to hear anymore.

"Buffy." Klaus said as he stood towards her but she pushes him away and leaves but as he watches her leave he will do whatever it takes to make her change her mind.

(The Salvatore house)

Buffy walks into the house and went straight up to her room and she locks her door cause she didn't want to talk to anybody after she had just spoke to Klaus and she didn't want anyone to disturb her.

(Downstairs)

Damon was drinking his way through his bourbon when he spots Buffy walking into the house and when she didn't say hello she had gone straight up to her bedroom so he's decided to stay on the couch and not going to disturb the lovely slayer he had become friends with and probably wants to be alone.

Willow walked into the house with Elena and they look at Damon on the couch.

"Hey is Buffy back home yet?" Willow asked him as she walked over with Elena.

"Yeah she just went upstairs but didn't say hello so I thought she would want some time alone." Damon said as he looked at Willow.

"I'll go check on my best friend and see if she is alright." Willow said before she went upstairs to check on Buffy.

(Upstairs Buffy's room)

Willow goes to check and knock on Buffy's bedroom door.

"Buffy it's me can I come in?" Willow asked and Buffy answered the door.

"Yes come in." Buffy said as she opened the door and closed it once Willow came in.

"Everything okay?" Willow asked as she sat on Buffy's bed.

"No cause I want to tell you but I don't want anyone else hearing our conversation Willow and you're my best friend." Buffy said as she didn't want anybody to be listening.

"I can put a spell on the room to make sure no one else is listening." Willow said as she looked at Buffy.

"Please do Will and we need to make sure it works." Buffy said as she looked at her.

"Of course and send a message Damon to focus on hearing to test it out and we can say something random and if he can't then we'll know it works Buff." Willow said as she begins to do the spell on the room.

Buffy sends a message to Damon to see if he could listen and then Buffy starts saying something random to Willow and she got an instant reply from Damon saying that he can not hear them.

"Well that worked." Buffy said as she was a little bit unsure if Damon was actually telling the truth but she knows she could trust him.

"What's wrong Buffy?" Willow asked as she looked at her best friend.

"I went to see Klaus today and I got some information that I needed about Mary and he gave was something I didn't expect as she looks like me and now he is telling me that we're meant to be together and I said that is never gonna happen but now I feel different." Buffy said as she looks at Willow.

"What do you mean she looks exactly like you?" Willow asked.

"I don't know but I think I need proof to see." Buffy said as she wanted to actually see if Klaus was telling the truth.

"Why do you feel different?" Willow asked.

"Because I like him and I don't know if I can stop but I'm not supposed to and it's killing me and I hate lying to Giles." Buffy said as she didn't want to lose a father figure if he was to get angry about this.

"Everything will be okay." Willow said as she comforts her best friend.

"How is everything gonna be okay Will and I'm not supposed to like an immortal hybrid killer that has killed so many people and he had killed people's family that I've recently become friends with." Buffy said.

"We will get through this Buff." Willow said.

"I hope you're right about this Willow and something tells me the people might hate me for feeling for him." Buffy said as she didn't know what to do and likes being in this town with the friends she has.

"You're my best friend Buff and I'll always look out for you and I will always support you're decision." Willow said.

"Thank you Willow." Buffy said as she smiled at her best friend.

"I love you Buffy." Willow said as she smiled.

"I love you too Will." Buffy said hugging her best friend and loving that she's here by her side more than anything.
