Months had passed since the Tournament of Power reached its dramatic conclusion. Caulifla, the fiery Saiyan from Universe 6, had been consumed by one goal: surpassing her limits to rival the awe-inspiring Ultra Instinct she had witnessed in Goku.

Day after day, night after night, she threw herself into training with unyielding determination. Alongside her were Cabba, her loyal student, and Kale, her ever-faithful protégé and best friend. They trained relentlessly in a secluded mountain range, far from the distractions of Sadala's bustling cities.

"Come on, Cabba!" Caulifla barked, sweat dripping from her brow as she launched a flurry of punches at her sparring partner. "You're gonna have to hit harder than that if you wanna keep up with me!"

Cabba barely blocked the blows. "You're... way too aggressive today!" he grunted, sliding back from the impact. "What's gotten into you?"

"I'm tired of lagging behind," she snapped in her Super Saiyan 2 form. "We Saiyans are supposed to be the strongest! How am I supposed to prove that if I can't touch Ultra Instinct?"

Kale, standing off to the side and nervously twirling a lock of her hair, spoke softly. "Sis, you're already amazing... You don't have to push yourself so hard."

Caulifla turned to her with a soft gaze. "Thanks, Kale. But you know me—I'm not satisfied with just 'amazing.' I want to be unbeatable!"

That night, as the trio rested by a roaring campfire under the glow of a full moon, a strange sensation stirred within Caulifla. She sat apart from the others, staring up at the luminous orb in the sky.

"Hey, Cabba," she called quietly. "Do you feel... weird tonight?"

Cabba glanced up from the fish he was roasting. "Weird? No, not really. Why?"

Kale noticed Caulifla clutching her stomach and looking uneasy. "Sis, are you okay?"

Before Caulifla could respond, a sharp pain shot through her body. She doubled over, clutching her sides as a surge of energy exploded outward. Her friends scrambled back, alarmed.

"What's happening to her?" Cabba shouted, shielding his face from the sudden burst of wind.

Kale's eyes widened in fear. "I don't know! Sis, talk to us!"

Caulifla's screams turned guttural, and her body began to change. A tail—an unmistakable Saiyan tail—sprouted from her back. Kale gasped.

"A tail?! But I thought Saiyans from our universe didn't have those anymore!"

Cabba's face went pale as realization dawned. "The moon! She's looking at the full moon!"

But it was too late. Caulifla's body swelled, her muscles expanding as her skin turned to thick red fur. Her eyes glowed yellow, and a primal roar erupted from her throat, shaking the very ground. She transformed into a massive ape-like creature, her form radiating an aura of crimson fury.

Kale clung to Cabba, trembling. "W-what do we do?! She's out of control!"

Cabba gritted his teeth, powering up to his Super Saiyan form. "We have to stop her before she destroys everything!"

The berserk ape Caulifla stomped through the forest, tearing apart trees and boulders with ease. Her roar echoed across the mountains as she swatted away Cabba's energy blasts like they were flies.

"Caulifla, snap out of it!" Cabba shouted, flying around her head and trying to get her attention. "It's me! Your friend!"

But the primal instinct had fully taken over. She swiped at him with a massive claw, sending him hurtling into the side of a cliff.

"Cabba!" Kale screamed, her fear turning into rage. She powered up into her Legendary Super Saiyan form, her green aura blazing.

She launched herself at Caulifla, tackling the giant beast and holding her in place. "Sis, fight it! You're stronger than this!"

The berserk ape howled in fury, thrashing wildly and throwing Kale off. But Kale wouldn't give up. She charged again, this time aiming for Caulifla's face.

Cabba, recovering from the earlier hit, watched the battle with growing concern. "If we don't stop her soon, she'll level the entire area!" He formed a powerful energy sphere in his hands, his face grim. "Kale, keep her distracted! I'll try to knock her out!"

Kale nodded, dodging a swipe from Caulifla's massive hand. "Hurry, Cabba! I don't know how long I can hold her off!"

As Cabba prepared to unleash his attack, something unexpected happened. In the middle of her rampage, Caulifla's eyes flickered. For a brief moment, her gaze softened, and a low growl escaped her lips—one that sounded almost... sad.

Kale noticed the change and stopped mid-attack. "Sis? Is that... you?"

The berserk ape hesitated, clutching its head as if struggling against an unseen force. Cabba lowered his hands, his attack dissipating.

"She's fighting it," he said in awe. "Caulifla's still in there!"

Kale floated closer, her aura dimming. "Sis, please. I know you're in pain, but you can control this. You're stronger than any instinct!"

Caulifla let out another guttural roar, but it was different this time—less rage, more anguish. Slowly, her massive form began to shrink, the red fur fading as her body returned to normal. She collapsed to the ground, her tail twitching weakly.

Kale and Cabba rushed to her side. "Sis, are you okay?" Kale asked, tears streaming down her face.

Caulifla groaned, sitting up with a hand on her head. "What the hell just happened?"

Cabba let out a shaky laugh. "You turned into a giant ape and nearly killed us. But you fought it off. That's amazing, Caulifla."

Caulifla smirked weakly. "Of course I did. I'm not letting some stupid instinct control me."

Kale hugged her tightly, her tears soaking into Caulifla's shirt. "Don't scare me like that again, Sis!"

Caulifla patted her head with a small smile. "Sorry, Kale. Guess I still have a long way to go, huh?"

The next day...

The morning sun cast its warm glow over the clearing where Cabba and Kale were preparing breakfast. The events of the previous night still lingered in their minds, leaving them shaken yet determined to support Caulifla as she processed her newfound power.

Kale was tending to the fire, while Cabba sat cross-legged, trying to figure out how they could help Caulifla gain control over her transformation.

"Do you think she's okay?" Kale asked quietly, glancing toward Caulifla's tent.

"She's tough," Cabba replied, though his tone carried a hint of uncertainty. "But what happened last night wasn't normal. That kind of power... it's dangerous if left unchecked."

Just as Kale was about to respond, the flap of the tent rustled, and Caulifla stepped out.

Cabba and Kale turned to greet her, but their words caught in their throats as their eyes widened in shock.

Standing before them was Caulifla—but not as they remembered her. Her body was now adorned with vibrant red fur, similar to the berserk ape form she had taken the previous night. However, this time, her size was human, and the fur was far more refined, covering her chest and leaving her midriff and legs exposed. Her wild, messy hair framed her face, which bore an unmistakable cheeky smirk. Her eyes had shifted to a bluish-green hue, glowing with a confidence that made her seem untouchable.

Cabba immediately averted his gaze, his face flushed. "Uh... Caulifla... y-you're... uh—"

Kale's face turned a deep red, her hands fidgeting nervously. "Sis, y-you look... different..."

Caulifla placed her hands on her hips, tilting her head as she grinned. "What's with the looks? You two act like you've never seen me before."

Cabba coughed awkwardly, trying to maintain eye contact without glancing down. "It's not that! It's just... what happened? How did you... change?"

Caulifla looked down at herself, flexing her arms and inspecting the fur on her hands with mild curiosity. "Honestly? I don't know. I just woke up like this. Must've been something to do with last night."

Kale stepped closer, her concern outweighing her embarrassment. "Does it hurt? Do you feel... okay?"

Caulifla rolled her shoulders and stretched, testing her range of motion. "Hurt? Nah. If anything, I feel amazing! Stronger than ever!" She clenched her fists, and a burst of crimson energy radiated from her, causing Cabba and Kale to shield their eyes.

"Whoa!" Cabba exclaimed, stumbling back. "That energy—it's completely different from before!"

Caulifla chuckled, clearly enjoying their reactions. "Told ya, didn't I? I'm not gonna stop until I'm the strongest Saiyan in all the universes!"

Kale hesitated before speaking. "But, Sis, what if this new form is dangerous? What if you lose control again like last night?"

Caulifla's smirk faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered, crossing her arms. "I won't. Last night was a fluke. I've got this power under control now." She jabbed a thumb at her chest. "I mean, look at me! I'm stronger, faster, and tougher than ever!"

Cabba scratched his head, his mind racing. "This... this might be some kind of hybrid form. It's like you've combined the primal power of the ape with your Super Saiyan abilities."

"Hybrid, huh?" Caulifla mused, rubbing her chin. "I like the sound of that. Let's call it... Super Saiyan Crimson!"

Kale blinked. "Super Saiyan Crimson?"

"Yeah!" Caulifla grinned, clearly proud of the name. "It's got a nice ring to it, don't ya think?"

Cabba sighed, shaking his head. "You're unbelievable, Caulifla."

Caulifla playfully punched his shoulder, nearly knocking him over. "And you love it!"
