I finished a painting on the wall, Aang sat next to me as looking sad. "What's wrong Aang?" I asked concerned my usually care free brother wasn't his usual self.

he turned his head away. "My friends don't want to play with me because I'm the avatar." I paused not knowing how to respond.

I gave my advice. "Just be Patient Aang, they will turn around and realize they were being unwise." Aang smiled. "Now don't you have a paisho game to beat Gyatso's butt?" He nodded and stepped up ran to master Gyatso.

I they day passed and I noted the cloudless sky, there was no wind. "Looks like a storm is brewing Davaa." My friend said bored as we got our equipment back into the Storage. I went to see Aang and saw he wasn't. "AANG?!" I jumped from wall to wall and up looked from the highest tower, seeing him leave.

I fell down slowing down with an air burst and got to the stables. "Zumo!" My air bison awoke as I got on him untying his horns, I yelled "YIP YIP!" We flew out of the stables and we flew above Aang and Appa. "AANG! turn around or else!" Appa sped faster while groaning. "Zumo, do you what you like." Which was pushing Appa on the sides.

I jumped over to Appa's saddle. "Davaa! You know Appa doesn't like when Zumo plays rough!" I sighed Ofcourse he focuses on that! then we heard lightning

"Aang" I whispered as the down poor pushed us down Appa's fur getting wet and heavy, stupid winter fur! Aang pulled the reigns but it was no use we held on together, then we were caught in a Malstroms, I kept my mouth closed my mind going to Aang then Zumo.

A flash of blue consumed us.

I groaned waking up as Aang shacked me. "Davaa are you alright? wake up, Appa come on." I was groggy rubbing my face. I stood up getting off of appa before he stretched and launched me into the sky.

Then I saw a boy with a spear and Girl wearing parka, I looked around my head was killing me, then realized the glaciers. Then saw girl and boy from the blue color I could tell they were water tribe or at least one of the many island near the water tribe but based on the cold. "What is that thing?" The boy asked from his looks we were about the same age.

Aang told him. "This is Appa my flying bison and my brother Davaa his a great artist." I smiled at the two fighting the head ache back.

Then he pointed at the girl. "Right and this is Katara my flying sister." Then Appa sucked in through his snooze I ducked pulling Aang along as he launched a snot at the boy. He did everything in his power to wipe it off himself including rubbing his in the snow.

I smirked shacking my head. "It washes out, speaking from experience." He pulling the snot off his face, i forgot how gooey it could be."

Aang asked. "So do you live around here?" The boy pointed his spear at aang after whipping the snot off himself.

"Don't answer that! Did you see that crazy bolt of light, They're probably trying to contact the fire navy!" I raised a brow fire navy?

Katara stepped in front of Sokka, pushing the spear aside. "Oh I'm sure they're spies for the fire navy. You can tell by the evil look in his eyes." She pointed to Aang.

Aang gave them a big smile. "Yea don't trust that, he is as mischievous as they come." He gave me a kick to foot for that.

Katara continued. "The paranoid one is my brother you never gave us your name."

Aang started to introduce himself "I'm A-A-n-achoo!"

He flew into the air i counted. "One, two, three. four." He slid on the curve of an Ice.

"I'm Aang." He whipped the snot off.

Sokka spoke shocked, which was odd. "You sneezed and flew ten feet in the air!"

Aang turned to me. "Atleast twenty feet Aang, though that landing was perfect."

Katara gasped unlike her brother, she wasn't as shocked. "You're an air bender!"

Aang responded. "Sure am."

I raised my pointing to Aang. "Same, though his a prodigy." Aang blushed.

Sokka spoke in a condescending tone toward us. "Sure! Giant Light beams, Flying bisons, Airbenders. I think I have midnight sun madness, I'm going home where things make sense." Turned toward the ice glaciers.

I remarked. "I would recommend swimming Spear guy." I teased him.

Aang being the helpful person he was offered his assistance." If you guys are stuck we can give you a lift." He made an air jump to Appa's head. I followed sitting in the saddle looks around for Zumo hoping he was fine.

Katara greatfully accepted. "We would love a ride, thank!" He ran to side of Appa I helped her up.

But her brother was being a kill joy. "Oh! I am not getting on that fluffy snot monster."

I told him. "Spear man it's either this fluffy snot monster or one who likes to eat people and use spears as tooth picks, or you freeze to death."

Katara agreed. "He's right Sokka, can't argue his logic." He attemped to make a counter point, but deflated. And sat next to his sister.

Aang was excited by the look of it so was Katara. "Ok! First time flyers hold tight! Yip yip!" He flicked the reigns. He groaned, Sokka held on the saddle like his life depended on it and with a great leap he landed in the water instead soaring through the sky's. "Come on Appa yip yip!"

Sooka spoke sarcastically. "Wooow that was truly amazing." Gave him a hit on the arm. "Ow!"

"The big guy is just tired, I would be after almost drowning too." I explained.

Aang agreed. "Yea! A little rest and he will be soaring through the sky, you will see." Aang was staring at Katara with a smile.

She realized it. "Why are you smiling at me like that?"

Aang then as naive as he was said. "I was smiling?" Sokka groaned in disgust I chuckled, at least it wasn't a teacher like me.

We continued on our way I felt the winds, feeling for any surprise changes, like a snow storm I calmed down, then Aang said. "What are you thinking about?" I turned to see he was speaking to Katara.

Who was leaning on Appa's saddle. "I guess I was wondering, You being an air bender and all. If you had any idea what happened to the avatar." I froze at that, waiting for Aangs response.

His tone shifted to guilt. "Uh no I didn't know him. I knew people who knew. But I didn't, sorry."

Katara let it be even if I knew he might ask later. "Ok Just curious, good night."

Aaang responded. "Sleep tight." I floated next him giving him a look. "What?"

I decided to let him off for now. "Good night Aang, don't worry." I fell asleep next to him, a mistake as he kicked me in his sleep. After he got to the village I carried his limp body into a camp. Finally getting a good sleep.

I woke up Aang screeching, I got clothed and came out to find a village of woman and children and Aang being manhandled by Katara. I stood next to Aang with my staff ready. "Aang and Davaa this is the entire village, Entire village this is Aang." We half bowed to them and most of them pulled their children away.

Aang spoke first. "Uh Why are they looking at me like that? Did Appa sneeze on me?"

An elderly woman stepped up to us her words made feel anxious. "No one has seen air bender in a hundred years. We thought they were extinct. Until my granddaughter and grandson found you two."

I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure there still some of us around." I was sure I calmed him, but I was pushing the pit forming in my stomach.

Katara introduced the blunt woman who I assumed to be ninety. "Aang, Davaa This is my grandmother."

The woman spoke. "Call me Gran Gran."

Then Sokka rudely took Aangs staff. "What is this a weapon? You can't stab anything with this." I bit my tongue, not wanting to demonstrate how well of a club mine could be.

Aang made a small current pulling the Staff back in his hand. "It's not for stabbing it's for air bending." He unfurled it. Causing the children to laugh.

"Magic trick do it again!" I unfurled mine aswell, the back of mine were painted. "Ooh." Kids were always adorable.

Aang explained. "It's not magic, it's air bending. It let's me control the air currently around the glider and fly."

Sokka spoke up crossing his arms. "You last time I checked humans can't fly."

I gave him a look and pointed at aan. "You saw him launch himself seventeen feet into the air yesterday."

Aang got on his slider. "Check again." he flew into the gliding through the village, I looked around why weren't there any men. Then Aang attention was caught by pretty blue eyes and snickered as he flew into the snow tower

"Concentration Aang. First rule of gliding." I said closing my glider as he did his best to pull his shiny head out of the tower. Sokka gasped as Katara headed toward him. "My watch tower!"

I went to Aang, Katara offered a hand pulling my foolish brother out of the snow. "That was amazing!" He span his glider closing it.

Sokka tried to fix his fort and a pile of snow landed on his head looking at Aang and Katar. "Great, you're an airbender, Katara's an Water bender. Together you can waste time all day long." I air bend the snow off him, I smirked at him.

Aang too focused on Katara responded. "You're a Water bender?"

Katara shyly remarked. "Well sort off, not yet." I raised a brow at that.

Gran Gran spoke. "Alright no more playing, Katara you have chores." Gran Gran pulled Katara Away. "Aang we should help—" I turned to See Aang got his tongue stuck on the nail of his glider. One of the boys pulled the glider. "Well that counts as entertaining the children. Any work for me?"

One of the woman asked. "How are you with sewing?"

I smiled something I could do. "I know my way around needles." I helped them repairing and sewing up any damages to their tents, clothes and socks luckily the were washed before hand.

After I was done I heard a certain someone yell. "Penguin!" I sighed as I watched Aang run off, Katara chasing him.

Gran Gran walked next to me. "You're Handy with a thread and needle. Have you sewn before?" I looked to her. "You're worried aren't you?"

I sighed letting out my frustration. "Is it that easy to see gran gran? Well I'm worried about my people, I'm worried about where they are now, I'm terrified about my bison being lost in the middle of the ocean or worse. And what is this war?" Sokka looked at me for once without frustration or jealousy like he looked at Aang, something else understanding.

Gran Gran nodded humming. "Yes, we better get your brother here then I will tell you what you have missed." I let out a sighed. I caught one of the kids falling, caught him with an air kick he landed in a snow pile.

"Again again!" He cheered, Aang wasn't the only one who could have some fun, I started playing my favorite again I played with Aang when he was their age. Juggleing babies.

I threw one of the children into their air. "Higher! Higher!" The boy demanded, and I continued to girl throwing making wind funnel to sloow her down with the next with air bursts they stayed in the air squealing with joy. Then I stopped seeing the flare in the sky, I caught some of the kids and gulped. A flare was never good as the pit in my stomach fell. "Again!"

I looked to them kept my smile. "I think it's time you found your moms." The Awwed in disappointment. I looked to Sokka staring at the flare. "Bad winds are heading our way."

he pointed at me. "Yea and your brother's in the thick of it."

I couldn't blame him with the fire navy and a war this could spell trouble. "He always is."

Sokka spoke out. "Ah ha! So you admit you're fire nation." I kicked some snow into his face.
