I walked to my brother as he and Katara returned from wherever the flare came from. The kids cheered running toward them, not realizing the tense things were. Sokka pointed toward Aang for once I couldn't fault him. "I knew it! Singled the fire navy with that flare! You're leading them straight to us aren't you?"

I placed a arm on Aang's shoulder. "I know Aang, he wouldn't do something like that intentionally, right Katara?" I looked to her hoping her to give Aang a way out.

Katara nodded brows furrowing at her brother. "He's right Sokka it was an accident."

"Yea, we were on this ship and there was this boobytrap and… We boobied right into it." He finished scratching the back of his neck.

I couldn't help but sigh. "Oh Aang…"

Gran Gran spoke up. "Katara you shouldn't gone on that ship. Now we could all be in danger."

Raised his arms defending Katara. "I brought her there, it's my fault." I rubbed his back trying ease his nerved.

Sokka than pointed at Aang. "Aha! The traitor confesses! Warriors away from the enemy. The Foreigners banished from the village." I mentally asked 'why am I being banished?' Before pushing it back.

Katara glared at her brother fists clenched. "Sokka, You're making a mistake!"

"No! I'm keeping my promise to dad, protecting you from threats like them!" He Jabbed his finger at us.

Katara pointed at us. "Aang and Davaa Are not out enemy! Don't you see? They have brought us something we haven't had in a long time, Fun." I winced at that. I winced at that. Fun wasn't exactly our top priority right now.

Sokka was more indignant flailing his arms. "FUN?! We can't fight fire benders with fun!"

Aang naively then said. "You should try it sometime." I bit back a groan, sometimes I wondered if he realized the gravity of situations.

Sokka's patience ran out. "Get out of our village, Now!" He squinted mostly because we were already outside of the walls.

Katara defended our case. "Grandmother please, don't let Sokka do this." I knew from the villager's sterns looks it was set in stone.

Gran Gran just confirmed my suspicions. "Katara you knew that ship was forbidden. Sokka is right." I winced hearing the loud mouth being right for once. "I think it is best that the air benders leave."

Katara then loudly announced. "FINE! Then I'm banished too!" She started pulling Aang.

I had to put my foot down and be the adult. "No Katara you can't leave your family for two strangers." I said as gently yet firm as I could in this situation.

Aang in a show of Maturity agreed with me. "Davaa's right katara. I don't want to come between you and your family."

We walked to Appa. Katara asked us. Her Voice small and sad "You're leaving the South Pole? This is goodbye?" Her Face was fallen.

I felt torn, I wanted to help these people who had helped us, yet they want us there. "We will be back, maybe one." I jumped on to Appa's saddled.

Aang looked Katara. "Thanks for penguin sledding with me."

Katara weakly asked. "Where will you go?"

Aang said what I hoped he would say. "Guess we will go back home look for the airbenders." He paused. "Wow I haven't cleaned my room in a hundred years. Not looking forward to that."

I chuckled. "Oh you bet I will make you sure sweep it clean." I told him trying to lighten the mood. Even if it was tough leaving them.

He spin jumped onto Appa's head. He looked to village. "It was nice meeting everyone."

Sokka crossed his arms. Still skeptical. "Let's See your bison fly now air boy."

I rolled my eyes, even now this guy couldn't give it a rest. Aang gave Appa a gentle pat. "Come on Appa you can do it, yip yip!" Appa groaned lumbering toward the ocean, I understood I was in no mood for flying either.

Sokka then said in condescending manner. "Yea I thought so."

Then a little ran up to us. "Aang, Davaa don't go, I'll miss you."

Aang looked at the girl crest fallen. "I will miss you too." He looked to katara, both shared a look I could only say was deep disappointment and longing

I looked to the girl. "We will be back one day." I said trying my best to make sure she wouldn't try right there.

Aang told Appa. "Come on boy." Appa walked away with a groan walking to the ocean.

we made break in ice loops laying in them. "This is the life." I said to Aang and Appa.

Appa roared in response, Aang added. "Yea, I like it here too." Then Aang gasped. "The village." I looked in toward the ocean and seeing the ship heading toward the village and I jumped out of my ice donut.

"Aang wait." I told him grabbing his shoulder, I couldn't let him face the fire. "I'm sorry." I pinched his shoulder on the right chi, causing him to fall paralyzed. I turned to our furry friend. "Appa you're in charge, it should pass in a few minutes to an hour." Aang tried to protest but only made a few groans.

I flew toward the village with my glider. Steading my nerves on what I was about to do. When I was close I saw the hole made in the village wall, and zoomed through knocking one of fire benders off their feet.

I looked to the villagers. "Hey Sokka, hey katara. No one hurt?" Trying to sound as casual as I could.

I looked at Sokka who was wearing armor and had bits of war paint around his face.

"Hi Davaa." Sokka said he dejected.

"Where's aang?" Katara asked concerned.

"Safe." Then I turned to the fire bender with a scar on the rightside of his face. "Leave." I spoke trying to sound tougher than I looked.

The ponytailed boy then asked. "You're the air bender? Your the avatar?" I took a stance, I needed to bluff my way through this.

Katara spoke almost whisper. "Davaa?"

Sokka was more shocked. "No way." Oh only if he knew how right he was.

The scarred teenager and I circled each other, he had an intense look in his eyes. He then spoke. "I spent years for this encounter, training, meditation…" His voice was dripping with frustration "you're just a child."

I could help but be offended. "We Look about the same age."

He then started launching fire balls at me, I span my staff blocking the fires, dispersing them, then one almost got passed me. I heard the frightened children and woman. And then stopped as the firebender Stopped. "Enough, I will go with you and you will leave these people be. By your honor." Jabbed my finger at him.

There was a tense moment. The air felt thick with anticipation. The firebender's good eye narrowed, studying me. Then, to everyone's surprise, he straightened up and gave a curt nod.

"Very well," he said, his voice rough. "On my honor as a prince of the Fire Nation, I accept your terms."

I blinked, caught off guard. A prince? That explained the fancy armor.

Katara gasped behind me. "Davaa, no! You can't!"

I turned to her with a small smile. "It's okay, Katara. This is the right thing to do."

Sokka, for once, looked genuinely concerned. "But... you just got here."

"Yeah, well," I shrugged, trying to keep it light, "I guess I'm not great at vacations."

The prince spoke impatiently. "Let's go."

As I walked towards him, I whispered to Sokka, "Keep an eye out for Aang. He should be back soon."

The prince's men surrounded me, leading me to their ship. I glanced back at the village one last time, hoping I'd made the right choice. As we boarded, I couldn't help but wonder what Aang would say when he woke up.

Aang POV:

I shook my head, trying to clear the fuzziness. Man, Davaa really got me good with that pinch. Note to self: learn that trick.

I grabbed my glider and zoomed towards the village, my heart racing. As I landed, I saw the mess - broken ice walls, scared faces, and no sign of my brother. Gran Gran walked toward me. "Aang, you better follow me." I did as told and the heard Sokka and Katara.

I grabbed my glider and zoomed towards the village, my heart racing. As I landed, I saw the mess - broken ice walls, scared faces, and no sign of my brother. Gran Gran walked toward me. "Aang, you better follow me." I did as told and the heard Sokka and Katara.

I ran toward them. "Katara!" She turned to me with a smile.

Sokka the asked. "Why didn't you tell us Your brother was the avatar?"

I gulped. "He isn't." I thought for a moment trying find an excuse. "I mean did he say he was the avatar?"

Sokka face palmed realizing. "He bluffed so the firebenders would leave."

Katara crossed her arms determined. "Still, we need to free him."

Gran Gran spoke. "Now wait a minute." We looked to her worried. "You will need these." She gave us sleeping bags. "It's been so long since I have had hope." She walked to Katara giving her the bag. "But you brought it back to life my little water Lily." She hugged Katara, she then turned to Sokka. "And you my brave warrior be nice to your sister." She hugged him.

Sokka patted her back. "Yea, ok gran."

She turned to me. "I know you and your brother have a greater path ahead of you and your destinies are intertwined with my grandchildren." Sokka and Katara looked at me and then each other.

I pointed out. "We're not going to catch that war ship on a canoe." Appa came lumbering toward roared if calling me. "Appa!" I ran toward him, Katara followed me.

I couldn't help but grin at his grumpy face. "Come on, Sokka, where's your sense of adventure?"

We scrambled onto Appa, tossing our supplies into the saddle. Katara looked nervous but excited, while Sokka just looked like he might be sick.

"Alright, buddy," I said, patting Appa's head. "Let's go save my brother! Yip yip!"

Appa groaned, probably as eager as I was to get moving. He jumped into the air, and for a second, I thought we might plummet right back down. But then, with a whoosh, we were rising higher and higher.

Sokka yelped, grabbing onto the saddle for dear life. "This isn't happening, this isn't happening," he muttered.

Katara, on the other hand, was beaming. "We're flying! Aang, we're really flying!"

I laughed, feeling the wind in my face. "You bet we are! Appa, you rule!"

As we soared over the icy landscape, I couldn't help but worry about Davaa. What was he thinking, pretending to be the Avatar? I just hoped we'd get to him in time.

Davaa's POV:

The prince the ordered. "Head a coarse to the fire nation. I'm going home."

The ship's metal deck clanged under my feet. The prince stood nearby, watching me closely. I decided to break the ice.

"So... nice boat you've got here. Do you guys have pai sho?"

The ship's metal deck clanged under my feet as I was led to a cell. The prince followed close behind, eyeing me suspiciously. He snatched my staff, turning it over in his hands.

"This'll make a nice gift for my father," he said, examining it closely. Then he looked at me, his voice softening a bit. "I guess you wouldn't know much about fathers? Being raised by monks."

I felt a pang in my chest. "Monk Gyasto." I thought as they locked me in the cell.

As the prince and gaurds left, I got my tattoing needles from my pocked, bent one into an L shape and attemped pick the lock, listening for clicks of the Pins. It wasn't as easy as those street performers showed us, though I got a few clicks in and opened the door. "Oh man that was just luck." I then saw the guard who had the keys and I just ran first I got outside to the deck and then I ran back in for my staff, looking through "the rooms, pipe room, pipe room, oh more pipes! How many Pipes does this ship need?" Then I found a room of a portly fellow and I whispered "Sorry." Tiptoeing away before running for the next fire bending soldiers running on the walls then I found it. "My staff!"

Stepped into the room walking toward my staff and The scarred prince closed the room. "Looks like I under estimated you." There was tense stare down between us, before he took his stance and launching a stream of fire at me. I quickly dodged trying to not get burned to a crisp.

I quickly remembered my training jumping behind him and staying behind him so he couldn't hit me. The launched him toward a wall, I grabbed my staff and I pointed my it toward him made an air current under his mattress, then launched it and him into the wall. He fell on to the mattress after getting slammed by it before I launched him with his bed into ceiling before I ran out of the room.

I ran to the top of the ship. Then I heard the call of a air bison and hopped to a smallest degree it was Zumo. But better yet, it was Appa with Aang, Katara and Sokka. "Aang! Don't come closer!" Aang flew down with his glider, only to get hit by a fire punch his glider feel on to the ship, while he fell into the water, my heart broke. "No, no, no, no!" I ran to the edge of the ship ready to jump in after him.

The water started swirling, faster and faster. Before I knew it, a massive cyclone burst from the sea, with Aang right in the middle of it. He was glowing, his eyes and tattoos shining like beacons.

I couldn't help but drop to my knees and bow. It was just... wow.

The prince's Eye widened staring at Aang. He pointed at me, his face a mix of anger and confusion. "You lied to me!"

I spoke collecting all my nerves together, trying to sound brave then I was. "I didn't say I was the Avatar, did I? You just assumed. Prince."

Aang landed on the ship, whipping the water around launching the soldiers away and the prince off the boat.

He fell to his knees and I caught him before he could fall over. "Whoa there, Aang you were amazing."

Appa landed with Sokka and Katara, "Aang!" Katara came concerned.

Aang looked tired out. "Hey Katara, Sokka."

I looked at the two thankful. "Thanks for coming, guy."

Sokka proudly said. "I Couldn't have you hog all the glory."

Aang glanced around. "I think I dropped My staff."

Sokka shot up and ran toward it. "Got it!" He announced.

I helped Aang up Appa. Sokka made odd sound, I turned to see the prince holding onto it. Then he Pocked the prince off the staff and Sokka announced proudly. "That's from the water tribe!"

I Katara and I got Aang on Appa's Head, then we saw the soldiers starting to stand up.

Katara bet the water and launched backward and I followed it to see Sokka's feet frozen. "Katara!" Sokka yelled, I couldn't stop but chuckle at his mild misfortune.

Katara quickly turned around and used the trick on the soldiers before I could wind blast them off the ship. She had trapped them in Ice. "Hurry up Sokka!"

I watched Sokka hitting the ice. "I'm just a guy with a boomerang, I didn't ask for all this flying and magic." He ran up Appa's tail on to saddle.

I got the reigns. "Alright buddy, Yip yip!" We flew away from the war ship.

Then I saw a giant fire ball heading toward us. Aang and I got our staff opened the tail end using it as a fan with launched a mighty gust of wind redirecting it into the glacier. The blocks of ice fell on the war ship burying it under the ice.

Once we were far enough katara asked. "How did you do that?! That was the amazing thing I have every seen." I hummed agreeing holding on to Appa's reigns.

Aang's voice still strained said. "I don't Know, I just did it."

Katara continued her questions. "Why didn't you tell us you were the Avatar?"

Aang looked to the Horizen. "Because." He turned to me. "I never wanted to be." The clouds passed over us.

Katara broke the silence. "But Aang the world's been waiting for the avatar to return and bring an end to this war."

Aang kepts his eyes from me or Katara. "And how am I supposed to do that?"

I answered him. "The water needs to master the elements first air, the water, earth and finally fire."

Katara continued optimistic. "Well if we go to the north pole, you can master water bending, Aang."

Aangs mood lightened, even excited. "We can learn it together!"

Katara told Sokka. "And Sokka I bet you can knock some fire bender heads on the way."

He spoke in a satisfied tone. "I like that, I really like that."

I spoke up. "Sounds like a Plan to me."

Katara announced. "Then we're in this together."

"Before I learn water bending—" Aang started unfurled map.

I interrupted trying to not sound like a buzzkill Aang. "We're not going an a joy ride mister." I turned seeing Aang looking deflated. "Maybe two detours to The Elefant koi and Omashu wouldn't hurt. I always wanted to paint a picture of those creatures."

Aang smiled. "You're the best Davaa!" He hugged me from the back. What did I get myself into?
