Reika had returned after she had her break from being aggressive. But she has never taken that long, does she? I had been trying to find a solution where C.L.I is and where the citizens are being kept. But to my concern, Rin knew that we're running out of time.

Anyway, about me, I had never learned about technology or any other connection between the human world. I do now those glowing dots in the sky are called twinkles and there are so many other villagers who make crazy inventions and so many strange ideas, but we had been greeted by what appears to be Reika, who had returned.

"Reika, where were you?" Shira asked, scolding her sister. "You were gone all night long."

Reika did not answer but she held up what appears to be a chemical. We gasped in shock at the sight of the small object.

"Reika, where did you get that vial?" Rin asked, flying toward her.

I took a look at the vial and began to read the words, labeled. C.L.I. "C.L.I? That vial came from C.L.I?"

"That must be where it came from?" Rin realized. "Did you find something while you were gone Reika?"

Reika nodded her head. A while later, I told the sisters that I had to study the chemical. Making a makeshift chemistry set, I started to examine the strange clear liquid until I knew what was wrong. "Guys, this chemical. I think it must be a mind serum."

"What do you mean?" Manako asked me.

"You remember when we saw those yokai citizens wearing black jumpsuits when we arrived at Kokovillie? I think this is why those brainwashed Yokai act strangely. Mrs. Shadowside had made a mind control chemical to inject the host inside their blood and brainwash them. With enough mutant soldiers, she will destroy the world."

"Oh, my God," Shira gasped. "We had to hurry before we're too late. Come on, let's get going." Packing up our stuff, we started to head out of the water tower and continue on the journey.

Arriving a few hours later, we had finally reached the building at last. I did recall that Rin told us that Shadowside's soldiers work here. The building was quite huge, made out of blocks that reach to the top. It even had C.L.I in black letters. Can't go inside because of all the guards so we had to head to the rooftop and through the vent.

"There's too many guards," said Rin. "We got to sneak past."

"Don't worry," Shira told her. "We will use our hooks to get to the other side." I gave out the signal. "Okay, ladies. Aim carefully." Lifting her hook, she shoots it across where it clings to the edge of the roof. Then we began to climb to the top where the guards weren't looking.

We started to open up the vent shaft and then we squeezed our way inside, not to make any sudden noise. It really spoiled my clothes and the dust made me sneeze.

Everything inside the building is dull pink with lights flooding the area. Looks empty here. Shira began to lead us around the corridors and sneak past the mutant guards. Arriving at the office, we looked around until I managed to find a C.L.I guard. I was able to get a good look at him. He was wearing heavy black armor and blue screens on their helmets. I never seen someone geared up and so futuristic. Shira motioned us to be very quiet.

Nodding, we went past the guard before he could take notice of us before we entered another section of the room.

We suddenly heard someone and we hid behind the machine equipment. Peeking over, we saw someone with blue hair and a business suit and with her are two mutant soldiers. I think this was Yoruhi Shadowside. The moment we waited to remain quiet, the woman and mutants disappeared into the moving shaft.

"That was close," Rin sighed in relief. "Let's go check out where she is keeping."

Shira led us until we found the elevator shaft. However, there was one problem. "There's a scanner on it," I said. "We need something to insert it, something that will take us there."

"Like a card?" Rin asked.

"I got this," Manako whispered. She hid behind a huge flower pot and we hid again at the other corner of the room. A guard went past the hallway and we remained very still. Using her vines, Manako slowly snatched up the card from his pocket. The guard did not notice her presence.

Once we had the card, we quickly began to head to the elevator shaft and swiped the card on the scanner. The lights flashed green and an animated voice called out. "Going to lab level." At least we managed to get away. We began to wait for a while once we began to reach the 40th floor. I was a little scared to go see what was beyond the doors but we had to be sure.

Upon entering, we were astonished to see what was being the lab, the floor underneath is pale blue and the light above us is glowing dull red. We started to look around to see there were so many. Failed experiments stacked on shelves which I don't even know what kind of monstrous that Shadowside made. There are machines, equipment, even that one machine that I do know what it was.

"What was this machine?" Shira wondered. I took a closer look. The machine is hooked up to tubes and wires that lead up and to a vat with multiple canisters scattered around. There are cuffs that keeps the prisoner in, just in case something drains the life source out of them. Finally, I realized. A draining machine, where it drains all blood from a living thing.

"Is that supposed to be the machine that can drain a living being?" Manako asked, scared.

"I think so," Rin said.

"So it is true," Shira realized. "That machine must be what caused the yokai to die."

"We should go back," Manako whimpered, feeling tears in her eyes. "I don't like it here."

"But we have come so close," Shira insisted, narrowing her eye. "I don't know why Shadowside made this machine to... to milk mutants and brainwash them with some sort of chemical but we can't bail now.

I was too scared to speak to say it was a milking machine while Shira argued on but then noticed a tape near a desk. It looks old and something important must be recorded to this tape.

"You guys," I called out. "I found something. It looks like a video tape."

"A video tape?" Rin questioned. She floated near my side and took a look at the label.

"I think there is something very important that we all had to know," I said. "Maybe it will have the answers." I began to put it on an old player inserted it inside. There was static for a few minutes and then the video on the magic box played.

"Data Log Day 0

We started our Project H.Y.B.R.I.D to make a first half human creature between two animal DNA, a legendary mythical being who will save the world from destruction."

I was surprised. I knew I had recognized who that was. It must be the owner who got us to safety when she realized her true intentions. Rin was speechless, floating down to Shira's side and blinked her eyes with amusement. The rest of my sisters started to watch as the tape continued on playing.

"We started to make the ooze called Hybria to make haste of injecting a host and into a Hybrid. It contains all the blood of the animal kingdom and the substance that will make a human have special abilities. I was confident that we would be able to make it right. That is if we could possibly maintain its behavior.

Data Log: Day 5

I started to bring in these four sea turtle eggs so Ms. Shadowside will inject the mutagen inside. A couple of scientists brought them in here for study. They were late hatchers that day. My scientists managed to find them on the beach and brought them in for study. Luckily, the test of the Hybrian blood had been successful. Sure though they will hatch to become powerful soldiers once we continue on our project.

Data Log 15

Inside the eggs, we can see their embryos glowing inside them. I think they might hatch pretty soon and while I explain about their blood. Hybria is a blue molecule with extraordinary powers. It is related to all of the animal kingdom, mammal, bird reptile, fish amphibian bug, everything living. With enough Hybrids, the world will change for a better life. We began to make the substance and began to cover the four eggs so their embryos will develop and change. It will be extraordinary.

Data Log 25

Slow footsteps echoed as Kanako Kuoro walked down the corridors, murmuring to herself. The corridors around her were dark and scary as she took each step across the hallway.

It started to concern us that things are about to be scary. Manako clutched Shira's hand for comfort as Rin swallowed a lump in the throat. I thought I heard Miss Kanako murmuring to herself about something.

"Ms. Shadowside seemed to be in the lab all this time. How long has she been here?"

There was another voice coming from the lab. Cautiously and worried, Kuoro stopped and then slowly leaned out of the door to listen. Inside, we can hear her talking to the other scientists.

"Ms. Shadowside, these sea turtles are gonna be strong and powerful once they grow up."

"Yes," a thick snotty German voice of Shadowside agreed. "They will make fine soldiers. With enough mutagen, I will create an army and take over the world. There is only one way to get it once they grow up. Their blood."

Kanako gasped, her eyes widened with horror and fury. She stepped away from the door, panting and covered her mouth. She still had her camera recording on one hand.

"And to think what they'll grow up to be, they will turn into the most powerful soldiers anyone can be. They will be able to fight in the air, swim underwater, sneak under enemy grounds and capture every human being and turn them into a soldier, a powerful soldier I will milk them dry. I will milk them dry!"

Kanako froze in horror, stepping away as her breathing was labored. "You witch," she growled under her breath. "I will not allow it. I will never let you turn those poor little sea turtles into super soldiers."

There was a sound of storming footsteps, meaning that Kanako had entered the lab to comfort her boss.

"YOU! What is the meaning of this?!" she screamed. "You're planning on world domination to make an army of mutant soldiers and take over the world by draining the blood on those sea turtles?!"

"So, you have overheard, Mrs. Kuoro," Yoruhi realized.

"What on earth were you thinking?! You can't experiment those sea turtles. They're just too young to be drained."

"They are. I needed their blood to make a powerful stable ooze to make soldiers that will follow my orders."

"I will never let you do that, Yoruhi Shadowside!" There was a sound of struggling. "Let go!"

"If you won't work with me, Kanako, then you are nothing but a weak freak."

There was an explosion, glass breaking and then some soldiers shouting out. Then the video ended.

"Project H.Y.B.R.I.D, huh?" Shira said.

"You guys, this is terrible!" Rin exclaimed with fear. "Whoever made this video is what had been connected to you guys fourteen years ago. Shadowside is a murder. She killed Kanako with her own hands of hers!"

"That is what caused this?" Manako asked.

"Yeah," I said. "I think they must be after their blood because they are of great value to them. That is why Ms. Kanako knew about the plan. That lady wanted us for our blood in order to make an army of brainwashed mutants. We have to destroy the project and the building before it's too late."

"You're right, Tomoka," said Shira. "This should be our only chance to stop the C.L.I forces before they release it."

Suddenly, before we could move, the alarm started to sound. We froze in place, our hearts racing fast.

"We've been spotted!" Shira cried. "We need to get out of here!"

We began to turn around to run out of the lab and into the hallway, trying our best to hide from the guards. We are about to reach the elevator only to be stopped, then the door opened right in front of us and there was Ms. Shadowside along with a group of soldier mutants.

"Why hello, girls," she spoke. "I had been waiting for you for a long time."

"You..." Shira gasped. "You are Shadowside!"

"Of course I am," she nodded. "I had finally found you after all these years, we thought that you died in the flames. But that we have found and we can finish the project."

"What project?" I threatened, scared. "What do you want from us?"

"What I need is your blood," Shadowside answered, making us gasp in horror. "It will allow me to make the mutagen so I can turn the captured yokai into my army. Guards, take these hybrids into the main lab and hook them into the machine."

Gathering around us, the guards begin to cuff us behind our backs and put Rin inside a blue capsule and start to lead us deeper into the lab. We can't transform into her hero form with Rin being captured and we had to obey her orders.

"We need to do something," Shira whispered under her breath to us.

"We can't," I whispered. "We're done for. We will be drained."

As the guards took us to the main lab, I looked over and noticed what appeared to be a portal, a way out of the C.L.I. But we need a distraction. Using my telekinesis, I used the blaster to shoot the mutants dead before I urged them. "Hurry! To the portal!"

We ran over, cuffs still on our back and we tried to wonder if we're gonna get the portal working. Manako looked over and started to fuse two wires together before the machine started to activate. It started to glow a bright light as Yoruhi shouted, "Don't let them escape!"

We braced themselves, but Rin is still trapped in the capsule. Shira tried to run to get her but we disappeared in a flash before I felt my mind being shut down.
