I was not sure how long we had been asleep but when I last heard, my sisters and I had found ourselves on a cargo bay and we passed out front because of the lack of oxygen. My mind has gone completely blank and I can feel my body being shut down. I heard some footsteps approaching and when I came to, trying to hold my breath, I thought I saw a group of tall creatures looking down at me. I could not hear what they were saying but they are murmuring something.
"We have stowaways in our midst. If they had got inside that cargo bay- get me the bubble converters."
As my vision cleared up, I thought I saw a tentacle thing wrap a mask-like converter around my face. I inhaled deeply and so did the rest of my sisters. We were all breathing again, even though our eyes were still closed and after a while, opening up a little. They held us up, and shackled us behind our backs and started to lead us away.
Meanwhile, I was sure that Mechchan sneaked onboard the ship and was captured on them. She was brought down onto her knees to face the Admiral, Okira.
"It had been a long time, Mechchan," he said. "You thought you could escape when we told you that we wanted you and your scientists to build a weapon."
"A weapon that will destroy for weaponary purposes," the lieutenant replied.
"I will never build a weapon for evil," she growled.
"Well, if you won't," Okira snarled and showed a bubble screen. "I bet your little friends will."
Mechchan took a look closer to the image and gasped, her eyes wide with horror. "The girls?!"
"You know these creatures?"
"Yes! Please don't harm them!" she pleaded. "They're just harmless mutants. They were just trying to get back to their home so they can stop Shadowside, who's planning to make an army of mutants."
"Don't you worry!" a bright voice echoed out, belonging to another robot with a jester cowl. "We will make them live, as experiments and warriors!"
As me, Reika, Tomoka and Manako were being taken to the chamber, they undressed us. They put on bronze armor chest plates, with silk lash bikinis when they levitated us up in the air with their powers. and had us forced onto our hands and knees for "Spiral implant."
They tattooed us with strange spiral-like marks on our shoulders and then we were strapped to a machine in a prison cell, handcuffs holding our ankles and our wrists. I could not twist or move my arms and legs, but I can still move my head. All around us were other prisoners also strapped in their machines, for experiments, and other wars we might face.
Reika struggled to move her arms but it was no use. "The cuffs are too strong," I told her. "We're trapped here."
We let out a long sigh, lowering our heads and thought about what might become of us. We were just experiments to those Okimas and without Rin, we can't break free and transform. What is gonna happen to us? Were we gonna be put into war and experimented on like lab rats?
"There is no chance you'll get out alive," a voice said. We turned to the left and saw what appeared to be another prisoner, a strange creature with fur, huge hair, big ears, and a long tail with a tuft on it.
"Who are you?" Manako asked.
"I am Prism, Furiean from Zubunia," she introduced herself. "We were once a peaceful alien race who lived in warm huts and clean waters, that was when the Okimas attacked us."
"The Okimas?" I gasped. "What are they gonna do to us? Are they gonna drug us?"
"No. You are about to be put into battle by one of the ferocious monsters in the universe. The Okimas used to capture them around the universe and different planets, turning them into warriors as well. You will be facing Blood Snapper and I should warn you, he is very, very hostile," Prism said. "He is a monstrous turtle like you but bigger with tentacles and a yellow eye. You might find a weak spot and it is his exposed heart."
"Well, thanks for the advice," I said softly. We were not sure how long we would be there until an Okima guard showed up.
"You're up, girls," he said.
Pulling the switch, the glass cage opened and the machine let us go.
"I hope you'll survive!" Prism called out for us.
They led us to the arena, gave us spears as weapons and dragged us in the middle of the field, surrounded by so many Okimas. I was completely shocked, and had never been in an arena before, eyes looking down at us, staring at us.
Floating in the center of the ring was a strange jester alien robot. "Welcome to the amazing spectacular circus arena! My name is Piroeian, the ringmaster and in this main event our enemies will be facing these four champions to the death. This is gonna be the bloodthirsty, cruel, circus show in the world!"
"Circus?" Manako whispered to me.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we bring you the most ferocious monsters in the world. He is a deadly beast who slaughters everyone! Give it up for Blood Snapper!"
We looked as the gates opened up as the incoming enemy faced us. He was bigger than us, with a covered up pink spike shell, a monstrous snapper face, a strange pink gunk on his right side of his face, one which is slit yellow and one, bloody red.
"Don't give down, girls," I told them. Motioning the girls to attack the beast, we began to charge at the beast, dodging his tentacle and his bite. Leaping over, I lifted my spear until Blood Snapper grabbed my spear and threw it across. I stepped backwards and then fell over. I quickly dodged at the last second and stood up as Reika and the other girls leaped onto his gross back and tugged him around.
But we were overpowered by that monstrous beast. "He's just too powerful!" Manako cried. "What can we do?"
Looking up, Tomoka can see something, an exploded bluish heart that is on his chest. She recalled that Prism told us that his weak spot is the heart. She carefully grabs what remained of the spear she has left and strikes it on the chest, injuring it. Roaring in pain, the corrupted beast limped its way back at the gate. We were confident that we had won, but the Okimas booed at us.
"Well, looks like the girls had managed to defeat the Snapper," announced Piroeian. "How crazy is that? They could have turned into a nasty plug of gooey sewage."
I was quite confident but we new things are gonna be a torture for us. The Okimas made us do circus acts all day and were given us a meal only one time, quite disgusting though. They made us go into fights with the monsters so the audience could watch us battle, and we were given strange liquid transfers into our blood on the machine to make us hallucinate. I can't describe it, it makes us like toys, and it affected my senses a lot. I always hated that part because I think it makes us under control.
Once they wore off when we woke up, we were back into our prisoned cage once more.
"You guys must have been lucky to survive," said Prism, "And somehow not giving up."
"I wonder why they need us?" I asked. "I don't understand what was going on and how they captured us in the first place."
"Well," sighed Prism. "I know that many yokai and aliens had magical powers but you guys are completely special. The lady with the blue hair wanted to use you, turn you into a super soldier and drain your powers."
"Shadowside?" Tomoka guessed.
"That's the one. She wanted to destroy all of the humans on earth. They are complicated creatures and they are all good."
"I never noticed that," I murmured. We waited until the guards said we're up again. They released us once more and we are in the arena again, this time, facing a group of Okima soldiers. Before we could fight, something bizarre happened. A portal opened up in the middle of the fight and black armored soldiers burst in and started to surround us.
"Hang on," Pielope echoed out. "This is not what was gonna happen."
"Don't move," the head guard warned. "We are taking you back to C.L.I to put you back into the milking machine."
Not again, I thought, terrified. We knew that we are done for and we won't be able to escape this arena after all. Suddenly, Mechchan came through and started firing her guns at the soldiers before she turned to us.
"We have to go now!" she shouted.
Now is our chance! We started to run towards the exit but the guards surrounded Reika, Tomoka and Manako who tried to make the exit.
"Girls!" I cried.
"Just go!" Tomoka called out. "We will be okay."
"You will be able to stop Shadowside and free Rin in the yokai world," Manako added.
"I can't leave you!" I cried, desperately, my remaining eye glistening with tears.
"We have no choice!" Mechchan told me, grabbing my arm.
I began to sniffle and started to leave them behind with Mechchan and into the corridors. "Wait! Mechchan! We need to get Prism out!"
"Prism?" Mechchan bleeped. "Who is Prism?!"
"She's a new friend and we can't leave her here."
Even though Mechchan can't say no, we hurried off and began to head to the prison cell. I knocked down a few guards and pulled down the key card, letting Prism free.
"What is going on?" she asked.
"Me and Mechchan are freeing you," I told her, "But my sisters back there are staying behind to fight the guards." I grabbed Prism and we began to run to the train as fast as we could.
I never looked back to where my sisters were as we boarded the train. We were safe. The train started to take off and leave the mothership, leaving only me, Mech and Prism alive.
I was relieved that I escaped but my sisters were still trapped. I lowered my head and buried my arms. "My sisters are still in the arena. I failed."
"We'll figure this out," Mechchan told me. "We'll rescue your sisters."
"I don't know how," I whimpered. "If I hadn't been able to escape with my sisters together, we would never be in this mess."
"Don't worry," Prism told them. "I believe in them. They are counting on you to make things right so you can stop that heartless woman from destroying the world."
"I promise that you'll make everything right," the robot promised me.
I began to smile a little, believing that there is a chance that I can still save my sisters from C.L.I and Shadowside. But now, it is my only hope to rescue all of humankind and the world.
