Weiss could see her partner and team leader Ruby, sitting forlornly on the stone bleachers above the small training ring. She looked perturbed at the site of her sister Yang fighting with Blake over… something. Yang is obviously flirting, her luxurious long hair flying about like a golden tornado as her partner strained to reach around to grab whatever Yang kept just out of reach. Blake's black cat ears were pinned back, but Weiss could see the lithe faunus was struggling to keep the look of joy from creeping through her tough exterior.

Ruby fell back with a huff, bright red cloak fanning out beneath her, "Ugh! I can't watch this any more!" Weiss let loose a light chuckle. Smoothing out her skirt, she took a seat next to the grumbling girl. "Hmm, can't deal with your sister flirting?" She shakes her head as she sees the two fall into a heap and begin to wrestle in the dirt. "So, you do know when two people really like each other, there is going to be all kinds of sexual tension flying around." Ruby pops upright, boring a hole through Weiss's head with her glare, "What?! Weiss…I…" The heiress leans back, smiling at her young partner, seeing a cute blush flashing across Ruby's cheeks. "Ruby, I know you are still young, but you do know Yang is going to do adult things like kiss…and…have sex?" Ruby's mouth falls agape, "I know that! And…I'm not a kid anymore! I'm 17, and only two years younger than you.I am a huntress! We've been through more these past two years than most people see in their lifetimes. When are you going to see that!?"

Weiss looks into Ruby's stunning silver eyes. She's right, she is an adult. She has grown and matured so much. Ruby isn't that awkward dunce that exploded into her life so long ago, but a beautiful, powerful, astute young woman. But, she is acting quite childish when it comes to Yang and Blake's budding relationship. She rolls her eyes as she looks back at the two rolling around the floor still struggling over a…what is that? A book? Ruby leans forward, resting her head on her hands. "I know they're flirting, Weiss. I'm not cringing because of that. I'm just over this back and forth. Neither one of them will admit they are thirsting after each other. It's just so damn frustrating!" She flings her hands out, gesturing to the two panting on the floor. Blake rolls off of Yang, her disheveled black hair covered in dirt, raising the book triumphantly in the air. "Just do it already!" Weiss hums in agreement."You're right. It's those two who are acting like children." Blakes jumps to her feet and runs away with her prize as Yang watches longingly after her.

Ruby startles her out of her thoughts on her friends' love lives. "Wiess, what would you do if you really liked someone, but weren't sure how they felt about you?" She had asked herself that question once before. It was her first year at Beacon Academy with that boy she had asked to the dance. What was his name, Neptune? Even though it blew up in her face, she probably wouldn't change how she approached things now. She peered at Ruby. "Me? I would be direct. I would ask them on a date. If they like me back, they agree, if they don't…well…then I know, and can move on." Ruby hummed in agreement and turned to look her straight in the eyes. "Well, in that case. Weiss, will you go on a date with me?
