Chapter 27: Wheel Of Fate

Kuoh Academy [ORC]...

Night...

The pregnant red-headed devil was allowed to return to Kuoh after the whole confrontation with her parents, but the only stipulation was that she now had bodyguards and a doctor from the Extra Demon Faction who were acting as her teachers in most of the Gremory classes to be as close to her as possible.

Every night before she goes to sleep, Unohana the name of the doctor of the Extra Demon would check to make sure the baby is healthy.

"Sigh, I wonder if you'll be a boy or a girl," Rias said to herself as she lay in bed naked with her hands on her stomach. She wasn't showing yet, but in a few months she would.

The female devil's mind went to how her last meeting with her parents went. It was surprising to her at how differently both her father and mother treated her before she left.

Flashback...

Gremory Mansion [Rias's Bedroom]...

Rias had her face in her hands as she sat at the edge of her bed. She was wearing a sheer nightgown so short that it came up to her asscheeks, showing half her ass and her waxed slit was almost on full display.

"What did I do?" The female Gremory asked herself. She allowed her libido and fear of loveless marriages to let her get into relationships with people she barely knew.

The red-haired young woman's mind went to her baby's father, Naruto, the leader of the Extra-Demon Faction. She thought bitterly, the blonde devil had not spoken to her since their battle with Kokabiel.

"I will blast his balls off the next time I see him," Rias said aloud in feminine fury. She didn't hate her ex-boyfriend, but was angry that he had hidden the fact that he was a devil from her. Granted, she had done the same thing, but her pregnant mind didn't care about that small fact.

Rias rubbed her stomach and she started to imagine a baby boy or girl with her red hair or blonde and blue eyes. The thought made the Gremory gush with how cute she imagined her children being.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Rias, I'm coming in," Venelana said as she entered the room. The first thing Rias noticed was her mother's right cheek, which was red and swollen.

"What happened, mom?" Rias said as she got up and touched her mother's face, causing the brown-haired woman to flinch in pain. "Who did this to you?"

Venelana looked at her daughter's concerned face; it made her feel bad for siding with her piece-of-shit husband in this whole arranged-marriage nonsense.

"It's nothing dear, how are you doing," Venelana asked her daughter, trying to change the subject. She didn't want to tell her daughter that it was her husband, Rias father, who had done this to her.

"I am fine all things considered," Rias replied, knowing that her mother was trying to change the subject but going along with it. "I know you must be angry at me, but I'm not ashamed of what I did."

"I am not angry but just a little disappointed," Venelana said. "I know that you don't want to marry Rizer, but sleeping with a random man isn't the answer."

"I knew when I met Naruto that I would fall in love with him, and I might still have strong feelings for him," Rias said in a soft voice. Venelena gave her a look of pity.

"Oh Rias, I'm sorry you had to go through that. If I had said no when your father came up with this arrangement," Venelana said as she brought her daughter into a hug to comfort her.

The mother-daughter pair stayed like that for a long time until they fell asleep in each other's arms. It was the beginning of the healing process of their strained relationship.

Next Day [Morning]...

Rias was now sitting at the dining room table with her mother and father. The servants had placed several different cuisines on the table for them to eat. Unohana was standing behind Rias as she was assigned to be her personal doctor and bodyguard.

"Are you excited about going back to the human world," Venelana asked as she and her daughter, who she had reconciled with after their heart-to-heart talk.

"Yes, I am mother. I miss my peerage and Sona." Rias replied with a smile. She was happy to be able to talk like this with her mother again.

"Tsk, I'm sure you're excited to go back to the human world just to be able to spread your legs for anyone who wants you, whore," Zeoticus said with an angry scowl on his face.

This changed the mood of the once light-hearted atmosphere; now it was filled with hatred and rage. Rias took offense at what her father had said; she wasn't a whore; she only slept with one man, and that was Naruto, the father of her unborn child.

Venelana wasn't surprised by Zeotius's response; the man hadn't slept a wink last night, so he was up all night trying to smooth things over with the Phenex clan, but to no avail.

Lord Phenex had gone so far as to ban the sale of Phenex Tears to the Gremory Clan, and anyone who sold it to them would also be banned.

After hearing Lord Phenex basically calling him a bitch, Zeoticus still begged for the Phenex to reconsider his ban, but the call was cut, leaving Lord Gremory in shock, which quickly turned to rage.

While Rias was out of his reach, Zeotius turned his fury towards the next best thing: Venelana, who looked exactly like Rias, except with brown hair. Or, it's more accurate to say that Rias looks like her.

Lord Gremory tied Venelana up and did such perverted things in the name of punishing her in Rias's place that she wondered if the man had a secret desire to bed Rias.

Venelana endured the abuse with her head held high, she could have broken the rope that bound her and used her POD (Power of Destruction) to blow Zeoticus's dick off, but she endured the punishment for a soul reason: while being in the Gremory wasn't pleasant at times, being in the Beal clan was Hell (pun intended).

Venelana shook her head as she watched her husband, whose red-rimmed eyes indicated a lack of sleep, he was furious with Rias and, if it were not for their daughter's protection by the Extra Demon Faction, he might have done something foolish.

Lady Gremory turned her gaze to Unohana. She remembered the woman from the war between the three Factions. She was a beast in devil's flesh. She was a killer through and through. The woman standing behind her daughter had killed humans, fallen angels, angels, and devils; basically, anything that stood in front of her to satisfy her bloodlust.

If she remembered correctly, Unohana had the power of Acid blood Manipulation and she was an expert with a sword. How Naruto managed to get her to follow him is a mystery to her. The woman was even rebellious towards the original Lord Lucifer.

"I am not a whore, and even if I were, I would rather sleep with a thousand other men than marry Riser Phenex," Rias said, looking defiantly into her father's enraged eyes. This brought Venelana out of her thoughts on Unohana.

"You fucking little bitch, I made you feed you clothes, and this is how you repay me," Zeoticus yelled, his face as red as his hair. "Do you have any idea at all of the damage you've done to the Gremory Clan standing in the underworld?"

"No, I don't, and I don't care. Go eat a cock Zeoticus. You were never a father to me. You only saw me as a piece of meat to be sold." Rias shouted back in equal fury. All the years of stress she had felt since being engaged to Rizer because of the man in front of her exploded in a white-hot rage.

"How dare you talk to me like that, I will end you today," Zeoticus shouted with an insane look on his face. Rias was shocked by what he said, thinking even if he was mad at her, Zeoticus would never kill her. His own flash and blood.

A magic bullet started to form in Zeoticus' hand as it grew into the size of a basketball. A huge killing intent flooded the room. Raise felt like she couldn't move and she saw herself dying over and over. Zeotius experienced the same thing but much worse as the killing intent was aimed at him.

Venelana was affected by it, but she was more experienced, so she was able to resist the paralyzing effect.

"I think that's quite enough of that," Unohana said as she smiled with her eyes closed, but no one was truck. The killing intent came from her. "You both should remember that Rais is potentially carrying the child of the leader of the Extra Demon Faction. Any harm that comes to it is an act of war."

Zeotius scowled but backed down and the killing intent stopped as Rais sighed in relief but that changed when Unohana's eyes turned to her own. "You should keep in mind that you are pregnant; you shouldn't put stress on yourself and the baby. If you lose the baby because of something you do, you will become the enemy of the Extra Demon Faction." The demon doctor stated it in a dead-serious tone.

Rias paled at the woman's words, a realization came over her. The extra demon faction didn't care about her well-being; they only cared about the baby when it was born, she would be on her own, and they would take the child by force if necessary. The new Satan faction would let them in order to stay in good terms with the extra demons.

If that happens, she'll be right back where this all started: engaged to Rizer, the redhead bit her finger in frustration. She'll have to come up with a plan to avoid such a fate.

Flashback End...

Kuoh Academy [ORC]...

Rias's Bedroom...

"What should I do," Rias murmured aloud, she knew that she only had nine months to come up with a plan to keep herself and her peerage safe from all those who want to harm them.

"You can start by not talking to yourself," Akeno's voice broke Rias out of her thoughts, the devil/fallen angel hybrid watched her friend and master in worry.

"Sigh, we're in a bad situation. Akano is the only thing keeping us from being run through by Rizer. My father and anyone he wants to give us to is the baby in my stomach." Rias stated, feeling that all hope was lost.

Extra Demon Faction...

Satanchia Mansion [Lady Isha POV]...

Lady Isha was in her special sealed room where she tried to predict the future. She was one of the few Satanchia's who could see both far into the future and with accuracy that was almost 100% guaranteed to come true.

The sealed room is one without windows and has a door. The room itself is covered in runes that enhance her ability to see into the future, but the room is pitch black, with the only door closed, even with her devil's eye sight.

Lady Isha had sent all the servants home early today so she could have absolute focus inside the sealed room, without any interference. Her daughter-in-laws/sister wives had also gone out on their own errands, making it the perfect time to take a peek at the future.

Naruto didn't like it when she looked into the future, as he believed the future was never set in stone; however, it could change, and her son was right, but it wouldn't hurt if she took a peek out of curiosity.

As she sat on the ground and focused on seeing the future, she saw a war: her son being in the middle of it; she saw perverted dragons clashing; then she saw the strongest beings looking at her son as he got ready to fight them. Her last vision was of the not-so-distant future. What she saw made her jump to her feet to get ready for the battle of her life.

Lady Isha POV Over...

The seal room she was inside shook; then the door to the toom was ripped off its handle. Lady Isha could make out a figure entering the room; as she summoned her servants to help her in the battle to come.

"What are you doing here, you bastard," Lady Isha asked as she made out who exactly had entered the room.

"You and your son have become a thorn in my side, and I will remove you both from this world, starting with you. But don't worry; your son will join you soon." The figure started the battle.

Within minutes, the once proud Satanchia Mansion had been reduced to rubble, and the sound of an instance fight raged on until there was silence.
