Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The 7th day was nearing it end as the first of the final matches were starting. It was Sven vs the burst linker Sky raker. Sky raker prove to be a challenge as a sky battle brough out. But it the end it was Sven who took the win. Next up as Cyan pile as he took on Snake. Snake was skill but was over power by Cyan pile might. Later it was Yammy as he took on the darkloid Gravitymna. Graivtymon was no match for Yammy brute strength and was defeat. Lastly it was Ezra vs Knuckles as the mobian kept the jedi on his toes. But soon Ezra gotten the upper hand and defeated Knuckles once and for all. Now the first week have end and the next day of the first round begins.

Chapter 24

Round 1 part 22

Water and lighting

Kuroyukihime Pov: The 8th day of the smash tournament have begun as we have return to the arena to wait for the next match to start. I was sitting in my seat as Haruyuki sat next to me. "This tournament is getting intense Kuroyukihime." He said. "Agreed, we have seem many fight so far. I was most impress with that Kadame boy was able to defeat the fake yellow radio." I said. "That was surprising. I mean even thou he was a copy of the yellow king eh was still strong." Fuuka said. "True and there was the at Shuuka girl who defeated me." Reiko said. "This shows there are many foes who can match burst linkers in battle. We must be careful." Seri said. 'So what the plan Akira your up next to fight." Chiyuri ask as we look to the glasses wearing brunette. She say in her seat with her eyes close as she was trying to think. She open her eyes and push up her glasses. "I been gathering information on many of the fighters here when the tournament begins. I have battle plans to deal with many of them so my victory is secure in this match." She said as she gotten up.

"Alright it time for our first match of the day everyone. It the water user of the black legion Aqua current vs the king of fighters Terry." Milton said. "By your appearance your a common street fighter. this should be simple." Akira said as she ready her neruo linker. "We'll see about that kid." Terry said. 'That we will Burst link!" Aqua current vs Terry

Terry decided to move first as he dash at Aqua current, he was trying to box at her as Aqua current sway her water like body around to avoid his hits. She soon swung her right leg to hit Terry in the side to knock him back. He grin as he jump and perform an ax kick at her. Aqua current move back as she held her hand at him and shot a blast of water at him as Terry was move back. He land by a car as she slam his foot into it to send it sliding at Aqua current. Her hand turn into a water blade as she swung down to slice the car in half down the middle. This was a distraction as Terry jump at her to kick her in the chest. She back flip to get some room form him. "Man this guys is giving her some trouble for just be a normal guy." Niko said as her head rest on her hand. "No Terry is an experience fighter, he look to have been in many fights." Is aid. "But Aqua current have the advantage in this fight.:" Seri said as we kept watching. As he ran at her Aqua current fire more water blast as Terry dodge each of them with still. He got close as he land 3 punches at her chest follow aby a round house kick to he rside as she was thrown back. Aqua current got up as she held her arms out. 'It time to end this." She said ass she started to glow. terry ran at her in hopes of stopping her. "Maelstrom!" She shout as she let out a powerful whirl pool around her as Terry was sweep up by it and throw out of the ring. "And it over folks Terry is wash out as the winner is Aqua current." Meyer said excited. 'Alright!" haruyuki cheer for Akira victory. 'I have faith in her." I said with a smile. "Yeah yeah, just wait until it my turn I'm going to blow my opponent away." Velvet Crow Pov: The last match have just ended as we saw more of these burst linkers powers. 'Huh this one is like a water Malak interesting." Laphicet said as he watch the end of the match as eh was taking notes.

"Appear so, so these Burst linkers can take on elemental like forms." Eizen said. "My we certainly have many troublesome foes to face down the line. How many we be able to handle them all?" Magilou said as she sat on the railing. "She got a point, there are many kinds of people here we have to face not to mention this new Sheperd Sorey as well." Eleanor said worry. "Didn't Zaveed said this Sorey kid is alright? I mean he got Eizen kid sister with him." Rokurou said. "And he can use an Armagus with her and maybe the others as well. facing him will not be easy." Eizen said. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, for now we should focus on getting through the first round. Rokurou your match is next." I said. He grin madly. 'Oh I know I was able to find my opponent. She look to be a capable swordswoman. I'm going to have fun with this one." He said eager to fight. "Mama there a few seats over here." A child voice said. We look to see a girl around 10 with white hair and gold eyes wearing a blue dress holding some kind of white bug Creature running toward us. "Ok sweetie calm down I'm coming." A voice said as we saw that Rika girl from an earlier match walking behind the girl. "Hey didn't we saw her earlier?" Lahpicet ask. 'Yes Rika I believe her name is, and she have a child with her." Eleanor said. 'Hey mind that we sit here?" Rika ask. 'Not at all." I said as the too sat next to me and Laphicet. "Hi I'm Hikari." The girl said to us. "Velvet, we saw your match your quite strong." I said. "It was nothing I tend to face worst on a daily bases." Rika said as she look at us. 'I take it you guys are new to this tournament too?" She ask. 'We are it been quite interesting so far." I said. "Tell me about it, I found out about it because my Husband was part of it for a few years. I don't think I see any of you fight yet." Rika said. 'One of our own is about to." Magilou said a she got in Rika face.

"Your quite the witch with your magic." She said. Rika frown. "I prefer the term Mage and you haven't seen what I can really do yet." She said as her sliver eyes look to glow slightly. "Yeah my mama is the strongest not as strong as papa but still." Hikari said. 'If you say so kid." I said as I look at her. Something about this girl seem familiar but I can't place why. "Look there Rokurou!" Laphicet said as we saw Rokurou walk into the ring. His opponent was a woman with long black hair with green eyes. She wore a regal kimono that show she is someone important. In her hand was a long blade katana. "Ok folks your in for a good one as it a duel between two expert swordmen. First we have the Yasha swordmen Rokurou Rangetsu vs the leader of the Sylpths Sakuya." Miltion said. Rokurou let out a whistle. 'Nice blade very well made." Rokurou said admiring Sakuya sword. 'I see you carry an interesting blade as well." Sakuya said. 'Oh this sorry you have to earn the right t see this baby." Rokurou said as he pull out his daggers.

"Ok let get to the action time to choose the field." Meyer said as the field stated to change to a foreign looking castle. "A japanese castle a fitting play for a sword duel." Rika said as her fox creature appear next to her. 'Appear so Rika." She said. "Wah how did you do that!" Magilou shout as she fell from her seat. "You get use to it." Hikari said. "Ok the field is Castle Kaneda let start the match. Smashers clash!" Milton shout as the battle begins.

Rokurou vs Sakuya

The two charge at each other as they clash and lock blades. Rokurou have his daggers cross as he held Sakuya back. Sakuya move back to get ready. "Hiougi!" She shout as she send out 3 strikes at Rokurou move to parry them off. "Crimson flash!" Rokurou shout as his right dagger was on fire as he swung down at her. Sakuya block it and move back. "Hm not bad I might have to not hold back." She said with a smirk. 'Don't on my account." Rokurou said a she charge at her. "Kureyu!" Sakuya shout as she swung upward to throw Rokurou off balance as she then thrust her sword at him. He back flip to dodge it. " Armor crusher!" Rokurou shout as he swung his right sword down making her block as he then thrust his left to knock her back. He then jump to kick her in the chest. Sakuya whips around as Rokurou cross his blades to block it as he was send sliding back. "This woman is skill, she have Rokurou on the defensive making hi hard for him to get close." Eleanor said. 'Why is your friend using daggers. He should know they have too short of a reach against Sakuya since she is using a longer blade." Rika said.

"She is correct, it would be more practical to use the great sword on his back." Renamon said. "True, but that blade is special as Rokurou only use it when he find a worthy foe." I said as we turn back to the fight. "Jade wave!" Rokurou shout as he swung his right blade as he shot 3 wind blades at Sakuya as he counter them with her sword. "Zangetsu!" Sakuya shout as she swung her sword down as she shot a large blade of wind as it slam into Rokurou pushing him back. He let out a laugh. "Oh now that what I'm taking about! Let cut loose!" He shout as his demon eye glows showing he about to end this. He charge at her as Sakuya thrust at him. I t narrowly miss his head as he got close. "Form zero sunder!" He shout as he thrust his daggers at her as he shot a powerful blast of energy as Sakuya was sent flying back until she clash into the ground. She did not get back up as the fight was over. "And there you ahve it the winner is Rokurou." Meyer said. "Huh impressive." A voice said as we saw Takato standing behind us. 'Papa!" Hikari said as she jump into his arms. 'Hey guys I been looking for you." he said.

"We wanted to check out the next match, how was the meeting with Master hand?" Rika ask as he sigh. "Same as before he told me he will have the ROBS look into the arena systems to see how it was temper with. We should go we need up with Kenji and Elize." He said. "Right, it was nice meeting all of you." Rika said with a bow. "Bye bye." Hikari said as they walk away. "They were nice." Laphicet said with smile. 'I guess so." I said as I watch Hikari walk away. Why did that child made me uneasy. I can worry about it later. We need to watch the next match. Ren Amamiya Pov: I was with my team as we have just finish watching the latest match. "Oh man that was awesome it was like watching a actual samurai duel." Ryuji said as he was excite. 'It was a incredible bout to say the least. Sakuya graceful movements and Rokurou beastly nature. A master piece in the making." Yusuke said as he was finishing a drawing of the battle. " It was certainly interesting, I was hoping for Sakuya to win." Ann said.

"Agreed it was shame to see a lovely maiden such of her lose to that brute." Morgana said as he shook his head. "Either way we have another tough foe to face in the future. Let stay focus for now." Makoto said. I look to Ryuji. "She right your match is up next you ready for this?" I ask as he grin. 'Damn right I am, I'm going to kick this Shiden guy ass big time and get our name out there." Ryuji said. "Just try not to go overboard alright." Ann said. 'No promises." He said as he head for the ring. "He going to cause a mess isn't he." Haru said. "Pretty much, the guy he up against is part of the group that Arashi girl is from who beat Ann ass." Futaba. "I wish you wouldn't put it like that." Ann said as she face palm. 'Oh make you her bitch then." Futaba said with a grin. "Ok enough Futaba, let just watch the match and hope Ryuji can make it through." I said as we look to the ring as we saw Ryuji enter the ring with his mask on and his batt over his shoulder. His opponent was a boy with brown hair wearing a black and red uniform . He have glasses and a black mask over his mouth as he carry a pair of batons.

"Ok folks it time for a electrifying battle, it the lighting fast brute of the phantom thieves Skull." Milton said. 'Vs the electrokinetic Shiden." Meyer said. "So I'm fighting some chump dress like a pirate weak." Shiden said. This look to tick Skull off. "Oh I'm so going to make you eat those words four eyes." Skull said as he slam his bat into his open hand. "Ok let get this started time to choose the field." Meyer said as the ar field activate. It change to show them on top of a large evil looking floating island with Bowser face on it. "And it Boswer fortress, Ok let kick things off Smashers clash!" Milton shout as the battle begin.

Skull vs Shiden

The charge at each other to close the gap. Skull swung at Shiden as the brunette use his batons to block Skulls attack. "Back off." Shiden said as lighting form from his baton as he blast Skull back. "Oh it going to be like that huh." Skull shout as he jump at Shiden to slam his bat down. The strike force Shiden to move back as he shot a bolt of lighting at our team member. Skull jump as he land on a ledge a she run dodging lighting bolts shot at him be Shiden. "Man this guy is giving off some serious juice." Futaba said. 'Your telling me, but Skull is just messing around." Ann said. 'No." I said as everyone is looking at me. "He trying to figure out how Shiden fights, my guess since he is like that Arashi girl he trying to think this out." I said. "Now that not like him." Makoto said. "She right Skull thinking." Morgana said. "Trust me guys he got a plan." I said. Skull was still dodging the lighting as he made in way out side to a balconey as eh sldi under a table. He kick it down and then sned it sliding at Shiden as the Shiden smashes it with his lightign charge baton. "That the best you got punk?" He said.

Skull grins as he grab his mask. 'Not even close! Captain Kidd!" Skull shout as he rip off his mask to summon the pirate persona in a flash of fire. "Oh come on again with this, didn't you learn when that blonde chick lost?" Shiden said. Skull got on Kidd boat. 'yeah, no, one thing that really fucking piss me off is when douch bags like you fuck with my friends. Most of all with my girl! Rampage!" Skull shout as Kidd charges at Shiden with the intent to run him down. Shiden move to dodge as Kidd came back for another pass. He try to shoot lighting at them as Kidd held his sword up to absorb the lighting. "Let his have it captain Ziodyne!" Skull shout as Kidd aim his cannon arm and shot a beam of lighting at Shiden. Shiden cry out as the blast launch him from the balcony and out of the ring. 'Oh boy that was awesome, the winner of this match is Skull." Meyer said. 'That right bitches were the phantoms thieves of hearts and were here to win!" Skull said as he issues his challenge to everyone. "Oh that moron." Ann said with a blush on her face and had a small smile.

"Well it safe to say everyone is going to be gunning for us." Futaba said. 'We face worst." I said with a shrug. "True, we score our first victory for our group. Now the rest of us need to do the same." Makoto said. "Right the day is far from over." Is aid as we waited for the next match to begin.
