Recap

The 10th day was reaching it end as the final set of matches were about to begins. First up was Jeri as she was to fight with the keyblader Kairi. But before she could enter the ring Jeri was confronted by the demon Kyoka who wanted the soul of her lover Seilah that was trap in Jeri when Jeri inherited her magic from her ancestor. Jeri decided to focus on her match as Kairi was skilled. But the young keyblader was no match for Jeri might. Next up was Blake as she and Backgatomon face off with Blaze the cat. Blaze had them on the ropes. but soon burn out as Blake and her partner teamwork snuff out her flames. Next was Lucia verse the nercomancer demon Keyes of Tartarus. Keyes had the upper hand until Lucia over power his forces and defeated him. Lastly it was Tsugumi vs Sheik as the Hirule spy had Tsugumi out match and defeated her. The first round as made it to the half way point as the 11th day was about to begins.

Chapter 33

Round 1 part 31

Blade courage

Takato Pov: It was now the 11th day of the first round of the tournament as we have reach the half point of the first round. The matches so far have been intense as there was still more to come. Right now my team were with Kurosaki group as we met up on the way to the arena. "Things are certainly picking up here," I said. as we took our seats. 'Your telling me, were what only have another 100 matches left to get through?" Rika ask. " 122 to be exact." Uryu said. "Either way we still have a long way to go before the round over and there still a lot of people we have yet to see here fight." Kenji said. "Yeah and most of them are after us, I mean Jeri told us about that demon woman who after her." Elzie said. "Indeed we need to careful for those of us who can still complete." Chad said. "Hey Takato." A voice call out. We look to see a tan fur fox man wearing a red shirt and green pants. He have a grey coat over therm. With his was a blue fur fox woman with a white face and black hair wearing a black and blue body suit.

"Fox, Krystal hey guys it been awhile." I said as they came to join us. "Friend of yours?" Kurosaki ask. 'Yep Fox Mccloud and his wife Krystal they are some of the friends I made here." I said. "It good to see you again." Krystal said. "So what bring you here?" Elize ask. 'Just looking for some seats to watch the next match, that bastard wolf is in the next match." Fox said. "Right the guy I'm fighting I better get moving." Renji said as he got up to go get ready. 'Who is this wolf?" Renamon ask. "He the leader of the star wolf crew a group of pirates who gave my team a lot of troubles over the years." Fox said. 'he shouldn't be too much trouble, Renji can win this easily." I said. "Let hope so, we need all we can get in this tournament." Rukia said. "It starting." Hackmon said as we saw Renji enter the ring. His opponent was a black fur wolf man with an eye patch over his left eye. he wore a purple jacket and black pants. "Alright folks it time for the first match of the day. It the soul reaper Renji vs the space pirate Wolf!" Milton call out. "Your going down mutt." Renji said. "Bring it punk I will make you my chew toy." Wolf said as he took out his blaster.

"Ok let chose the field." Meyer said as the ar field turn on. It turn into city with a large fountain in the center a sthere was a castle in the distance. 'And it the city of Logress. Ok let get to the action Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the battle soon begin.

Renji vs Wolf

Wolf move first as he charge at Renji and shot his blaster sending out several purple energy arrows. Renji use his sword to block them as Wolf got close to punch at him as he try to hit Renji with his claws. Renji parry him off and he thrust his sword forward making Wolf back flip away. "No bad for a human." Wolf said as he fire a few more shots at him. Renji jump back to avoid them as he stay on the move. "Howl Zabimaru!" He shout as he unleash his Shikai. Renji swung the whip like sword at Wolf making the pirate jump back as he avoid the whipping blade. Wolf took out a hand full of grenades and toss them at Renji making them explodes as Renji was force to move back. This let Wolf to get close as she kick Renji in the chest to punch him back. 'That fancy blade can't do shit when I'm this close." Wolf said as he started to punch at Renji keeping the red head on his toes. "He certainly good if he can keep Renji on edge like this." Uryu said. 'True, Wolf is skill in and out of a star fighter, it what make him trouble." Fox said as wewatcht he match.

"But Renji is far from done just watch." Kurosaki said knowing he have faith in his friend. Renji was able to move back to swing Zabimaru at wolf again. Wolf smirk a she side step the blade and planted a bomb on it as it passes. When it return to Renji Wolf set the bomb off as it explodes and destroy Renji sword. 'Ha got you now bitch say good bye." Wolf said as he aim his blaster at Renji. Renji smirk. 'Not quite fur ball Higa Zekkō!" Renji shout as the broken pieces of his sword floated up and slam into wolf surprising him a she was held down. "Now Shakkaho!" Renji shout as he fire the kido blasting Wolf down as the pirate was down for the count. "And it over folks the winner of the match is Renji!" Meyer shout. 'I knew he could do it." Rukia said with a smile. 'Nice to see wolf got what coming to him." Fix said with a smirk. 'Indeed dear." Kyrstal said. "At least Renji was able to made it to the next match." Kurosaki said. "Yeah with this we will stand a better chance for what to come." I said as we waited for the next match to start. Erika Pov: We have just watch the last match end as it was impressive to see.

"Man that was a clever trick for sure, he use the broken remains of his weapon to take wolf boy out." Chitose said impress. "Indeed, this Renji is skill, he will be a tough opponent to face." Ryuji said. "Yeah but we can handle it." Nokia said with out a care. "Maybe so but we must be careful most of all with the next match." I said as I look to Keisuke. "Your up next Keisuke, if you lose we lose a crest." I said in concern for him. He nod. 'I know, I need to be careful with this Luigi." He said. 'With a name like that it should be simple." Yu said. "Let hope so." Takumi said. "Good luck guys." Arata said. 'Right let go Zubamon." Keisuke said. 'Right behind you boss." Zubamon said said as they got moving. "Sis you ok?" Rhythm ask me. "I'm fine Rhythm I'm just trying to go over the data I collected on the arena so far." I said. 'You still haven't figure out how the Hazardous one is rigging the field." Ami ask. "No I send the data over to Chitose but we haven't got anything." I said. 'Your telling me, if we could have direct access to the system then we can figure this out." Chitose said.

"It can wait the match is about to start." Ryuji said as we saw Keisuke and Zubamon enter the ring. Their opponent look like the smasher Mario, only he was taller with green instead of red on his clothes and hat. And he look to be frighten. "Man this guy look like push over." Fei said. 'Let see how this play out." Yuuko said to her friend. "Ok it time for the next match, it the hacker of the Tamers Keisuke Amasawa and his partner Zubamon vs the green bomber Luigi." Milton said. "You alright man you look ready to pass out." Zubamon ask Luigi. 'I'm fine, just been a while since I got to complete let do this." Luigi said ready to go. "Ok they look to be set let chose the field." Meyer said as the ar field activate. It have turn into a world made of cubes. 'And it the minecraft stage ok guy give us a good show Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the battle soon begins.

Keisuke and Zubamon vs Luigi

Zubamon made the first attack as he charges at Luigi as he started to swipe his claws at him. Luigi move to dodge them as he punch Zubamon in the face to force the blade Digimon back. Keisuke us this to move in and swung his sword at him. Luigi grab a near by hammer as he use it to hold Keisuke off. They swung at each other making it so that neither of them to get a hit in. "This is getting good, hard to believe Keisuke is able to fight like this. I can still recall the shy kid who first came to work for us." Chitose said with a chuckle. 'Indeed, this proves how strong eh have become." Ryuji said with a smirk. "That he have." Is aid. Keisuke move back as he switch to his shot gun mode and shot at Luigi. The green man look to panic as he jump high into the air to get on top of a house. "Fire ball!" He shout as he threw a ball of green fire at our friends. Keisuke roll to the right to avoid getting burn. "20 dive!" Zubamon shout as he jump and tackle into Luigi to knock him off the roof. Luigi recover and does a spin kick to knock the Digimon back.

Keisuke shot a round of lighting dust at Luigi hitting him in the chest shocking him. "Luigi Cyclone!" Luigi shout as he started to spin creating a powerful vortex as he was trying to pull the guys in. Come on Keisuke my love you can do this. Keisuke stab his sword into the ground to hold on. "Zubamon!" He shout. "Weapon mode!" The blade Digimon shout as he folded into a sword and went to Keisuke hand. Keisuke jump forward to be pull into the twister. 'What is he doing?" Yu ask as we watch as Keisuke was thrown into the air above Luigi as the twister dies down. Keisuke dive at Luigi as the man look to be daze from his attack. "Your done!" Keisuke shout as he perform an x shape slash against Luigi chest with enough force that Luigi was thrown out of the ring in defeat. 'And there you have it the winners are Keisuke and Zubamon!" Milton shout as our group let out a cheer. 'he did it!" Yu shout excited. "I knew he could do it." Is aid with a smile. "Yeah, he sure is something else." Ryuji said.

"Indeed, he is a skill Hacker." Fei said showing some praise to Keisuke. 'Now the rest of us just need to make it to the next round." I said as we waited for Keisuke to return and to wait for the next match to start. Ludger Pov: We just watch the end of Keisuke match as he land the final blow on his opponent to win the match. "Man that was so cool." Elle said as she sat in Mika lap. 'You got that right sweetie, to think he would pull it off like this." Mika said with a amuse look on her face. "yeah the kid have skills I'll give him that." Alvin said. "Indeed Keisuke may not look like it but he is a true warrior." Gaius said. 'That he is, any way we should focus on the next match Alive your up next." I said. "I know I'm ready to take on this Robin guy no problem." He said ready to go. "Just be careful out there Al." presa said to her husband. 'Relax I got this." He said as eh walk away to heads to the ring. "Think he can win?" Muzet ask. 'Indeed Alvin is as strong they can come, I'm proud to fight by his side." Milla said. 'Me too, let see how this play out." I said as we turn to the ring. We saw Alvin was walking in as he saw his opponent. He was a young man with short white hair wearing a black n coat and white pants.

In his hand was a sword with a jagged blade. "Ok it time for the next match to begin. It the former mercenary Alvin vs the swordsman Robin." Miltion said. 'Hope your ready man." Alvin said. 'I am let do this." Robin said. "Ok let choose the field." Miltion said as the field started to change. We saw it turn into a ruin city with the remains of a large staute near by. "And the stage is Fortuna ok let get to the action Smashers clash!"Meyer shout as the fight soon got started.

Alvin vs Robin

"Variable trigger!" Alvin shout as he twirl his gun and shot at Robin as the swordman use his sword to deflect the shots as he charge at Alvin. He got close a the two started to swing and parry one another. Alvin got the upper hand as he swung upward making Robin to jump back. " Thunder!" Robin shout a he shot a burst of thunder at Alvin as he roll out of the way. "Torendo drive!" Alvin shout as he jump and spun at Robin with his blade pointed at him. Robin held his ground as he use his sword to block the arte and push Alvin back. 'Not bad kid, not many can stop that one." Alvin said with a grin. 'Your pretty good but I won't stop ehre." Robin said as he charges in and started to thrust his sword at Alvin trying to hit him. Alvin block his strikes and he spun to the right to get behind Robin. "Dragon swarm!" Alvin shout as he spun his blade in his hand to land several strike in Robin back to knock him forwards. Robin swing behind him as he try to counter attack. Alvin use his gun to deflect the attack and kick Robin in the chest. Robin spot a crate near by as he rush to it. he kick it sending it spiraling at Alvin.

Alvin use his sword to slice the crate in half as Robin came in from behind it. "Arcfire!" He shout as he shot a blast of fire at Alvin was able to move in time to dodge it. "Ok I think it time to end this." Alvin said as he gesture to his foot. Robin notice that Alvin foot rested on a smash ball. 'Oh jeez." He said as Alvin crush the smash ball as he was cover by a rainbow aura. "Final smash!" He shout as he rush at Robin. " This pride of yours will be your undoing!" Alvin shout as he land several sword strikes on Robin. "Terminus pride!" He shout as he fire the barrage of bullets to finish this as Robin was down for good. "And that is it, the winner is Alvin." Meyer said. 'He did it." Elle said. 'Certain don't know when to hold back." Leia said. "That Alvin for you, at least he won." Jude said. 'True, it will make things interesting." I said. 'Wonder what will happen in the next match." Mika ask. 'No telling we will just need to wait and see." I said. Knowing our luck it going to be trouble. Let just hope we all can get through this in one piece.
