Ashe
I was so excited that today we were going shopping! I picked out my favorite dress and shoes and ran to wake up mommy. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "I love the enthusiasm honey, but the stores don't open until 10" she said, "awe" I said even though I couldn't tell time, I was just so excited. Mommy helped me get dressed and I had to wait until after breakfast, I felt like it was going to take forever. I was beginning to get impatient, and I whined. "It will be soon Ashe honey; we can get ready" mommy said. I was so excited as we drove to the mall, I was hoping it was just going to be mommy and me, but Janna and Jaxon came too. I mean I get why Jaxon came but I didn't know why Janna had to come, she always ruined everything. I wanted to believe this day was about me and that I was going to get lots of toys but so far, I was disappointed. We shopped for mommy and that is not what I wanted. "I am bored!" I said, "well we are almost done here" mommy said. "NO, I want to go shopping for me!" I screamed loudly and I was picked up by Jaxon and taking to a different area of the mall. "This is not how little lady's act" he said, "I don't care! I want to shop for me!" I said, "okay but let's take a breath and go talk to your mom calmly and tell her how we feel without throwing a tantrum" he said. "Fine" I said wiping my tears and walking with him back to where we left mommy. "I am sorry baby girl; mommy needs 5 more minutes and then we will go shopping for you" she said. I waited and waited this was taking too long, "Sophie, it's my dad I will be right back" Jaxon said as he took a phone call, "Ashe we just need to go change Janna's diaper" she said. I rolled my eyes again it is about my baby sister; my mom helped me go pee and told me to wait while she changed Janna, I waited again.
This was getting frustrating, I saw a claw machine with a bunch of stuffies, and I wanted to look at it. I could still see mommy, so I figured it was safe, and I walked over to it. There were some cool stuffies in there, "hey" I heard a boy, I looked up and saw him, "hi" I said back he didn't look scary. "I can get you one of those" he said. "I am good" I said knowing I could get Jaxon to get me one. "I have something to show you" he said, "I can't leave" I said, "its just over there. He said pointing to a door, and I saw a puppy, "Awe" I said, "yeah want to come say hi" he said. "Sure" I replied as we walked over to the door. I heard mommy calling my name and I tried to turn back but the boy grabbed me, I heard Jaxon, "ASHE!" he said I saw him run towards me, as I kicked the boy and he let go, then the woman from the other day grabbed me and put me in a van. I saw Jaxon he was close, and he was almost able to grab me when the door slammed shut and the van drove off. I screamed and cried but no one cared, I was taken just like Jaxon said, I screwed up because I wandered away from mommy.

FUCK FUCK FUCK! This was bad, I ran as fast as I could, but I couldn't catch her, and now I was trying to follow a moving vehicle. I was able to get the license plate, and I called it into John, and he gave me an address. I had to take Sophie home first, "I was just changing Janna, I should have been paying attention" she said, "I will get her back, I promise" I said, "We both lost her" she said. I know I should have been closer and not talking to my damn father. PIDGEON was to blame for this and now I had to find her, I had to fast, I was able to get Sophie and Janna home, and I literally ran out the door, I was going to the address, I didn't see the van or any sign of people at all. I walked around for a bit and found a warehouse close by and I decided to check it out. I knew it was bad I pulled my gun, but I didn't want to need to use it unless it was necessary. I walked in and was able to knock a few men out. I spotted her she was crying tied to a chair, I ran over to her and noticed the needle marks, they took her blood and god knows what else. "Jaxon" she said so sadly, and I picked her up and held her close to me as I ran out of the building taking a few more men out along the way. I called it into the cops and hoped they could catch these people. "Ashe are you hurt?" I asked as soon as we were safe, "they poked me" she said, "I know I see that, but did they hurt you?" I asked, "no, I just wanted to see the puppy" she said, "Ashe we talked about this!" I said a little angrier than I intended but she wasn't getting it. "I could see mommy" she said, "that is not the point, mommy needs to be able to see you. This could have been so much worse; I could have not been able to find you. They could have hurt you" I said. "I am sorry, I am sorry" she said crying, I took her home, but this went deeper. I felt like it was going to haunt her, and we had a bigger mess on our hands. Josh was yelling at Sophie when we came back, and I knew he was pissed off, and I had a feeling I was going to get yelled at too. Sophie hugged Ashe and so did Josh, but this was all far from over. It was going to be a long night, and I am not sure if any of us would be getting any sleep. I had a lot to talk about, to my dad, to Josh and Sophie. I literally failed at my job and now I needed to tell my dad and possibly face disciplinary action. I didn't want to leave I was getting attached and I wanted to be able to protect her more but maybe I was too young maybe they needed someone with more experience. I have no idea what the next few days will have in store for everyone, but no one said anything. Josh didn't say anything to me or Sophie after I brought Ashe home. I could read it all over his face though he was upset, and I didn't blame him, I was upset too but for different reasons. I needed to be more on guard now, that is if I wasn't out of a job. The looks I was getting from everyone was mixed, Ashe looked sad and scared. Sophie was sad and blaming herself and Josh was pissed off that was all I read from him. Was he mad at me, Sophie or both? I just had no idea what to expect, I am thinking we would wait until Ashe was asleep before having a conversation.
