It is not abandoned.

Chapter 5

Lenora looked around the room. She looked stunned.

'I have a comfy bed.' She went and touched the blanket that was silk and soft. She knew that back on the Isle of Lost, she would try to have her own room fit for a princess, but it was hard.

That is why she dreamed of going to a place that was hers and not, well, garbage.

Mal and Evie came as they awe at their room.

One is disgusted and the other is awed.

The third well, that she is confused.

"Wow. This place is so amaz-" Evie started to gush.

"Gross." Mal cut her off

"I know right, amazingly gross." Evie quickly corrected but smiled.

Lenora dropped her blanket as her puppy jumped on the bed. He panted and yapping all around.

"Come now, this room is sufficient enough." She cringed at the blind by the sunlight. "But I prefer this room not too much light."

"We are going to need some serious sunscreen," Mal said, squinting at the bright sunlight coming through the open windows.

"Yeah." Evie agreed. Lenora stood quietly.

"Guys," Mal called, and they each moved to one of the windows drawing the curtains. "Whew, that's much better," Mal said, dropping her bag onto the single bed that left Evie and Lenora. Lenora chose the end on the corner side while Evie got one in the middle.

Mal snapped her fingers, and they all left the room. The puppy followed his mistress.

When they arrived at the boy's room, they were envious. It had a large flat screen mounted on the wall where Carlos was playing some type of fighting game. It also had two four-poster beds. Their room was basically like a lair.

"Okay, how is this fair?" Lenora whispered to Evie who nodded, agreeing with that statement.

Jay came and dropped all the things that he had stolen on his bed.

"Seriously?" The demigoddess spoke. Jay shrugged, "Well babe, it's like buying whatever I want. Except it's free." He threw a squeaky toy that was shaped like a football. The puppy jumped and bit down on his new toy. Making growling noises and squeaking from the toy.

"Hmmm, You do that," Lenora said as she gestured to a small trinket. "Or you can leave all this hear and pick it up when we take over the world as these people will bow before us."

Evie giggles, "You sounded like your dad."

Lenora gave a fake gasp, "Thank you!" She admits that she loves it when it comes to her father's image.

"You do it your way." He reached behind his back then when his hand came back round, in it he held a small ring closed box." And I'll do it mine." He held up the box and then tossed it to her, which she quickly caught. Lenora opened the box and saw a green diamond ring with a silver knot.

Well, diamonds are women's best friend.

She pulled it out and wore it on her finger. She looked closely to see if it looked good on her.

"Die suckers!" Carlos' shout at the TV interrupted their small moment. "Jay you gotta' come try this out. It's awesome."

Jay went and took the controller. They were battling together.

"Guys!" Mal shouted getting everyone's attention. "Do I have to remind you all why we're here?" She continued.

"Fairy Godmother," Jay looked back then went back to his game. "Blah, blah, blah, Magic wand. Blah, blah, blah." Everyone except Mal chuckled.

"This is our one chance to prove ourselves to our parents." Mal started again. "To prove that we are evil, and vicious, and ruthless, and cruel. Yeah?" Mal finished, staring at each one of her friends daring them to question her.

Lenora questioned, "So, do we have a plan?"

Mal nodded. "Yes!" She turned to Evie, "Evie mirror me." Mal took command as Evie did what she was told.

They gathered around Evie as she pulled the mirror out of her purse.

"Mirror, mirror on the- in my hand. Where does Fairy Godmother's wand stand?" The mirror shimmered then it revealed a beautiful white wand.

"There it is," Mal commented. "Zoom out."

"Magic mirror, not so close," Evie whispered to the mirror, and it zoomed out, way out. To show an image of the earth. "Closer. Closer. Closer." Evie urged.

"Can I go back to my game now, I'm on level three?" Carlos questioned.

"Stop!" Jay shouted.

"It's in a museum." Mal clarified.

"Do we know where that is?" Lenora spoken.

Carlos began typing on the laptop Jay had stolen. "2.3 miles from here." He said turning the screen around.

Mal looked at the group and nodded. "Let's move." Mal was the first to move, going to the door and peeking out making sure that no one was roaming the halls. "Come on." She called back and everyone rushed out behind her. Lenora took her puppy in her small doggie-size purse. Save for Carlos who hung back to finish his game.

"Carlos!" Lenora hissed as she came to pull him by the ear.

"OW! Coming!" He called back running from the room.

Museum

"Check your mirror," Mal commanded Evie as they ran down the front steps of the museum.

"Why is my mascara smudged?" Evie asked quickly, checking herself.

"Yeah. And while you're at it, see if you can find us the wand." Mal said annoyed.

"Oh right. This way." Evie said now, leading the group towards the door. Lenora's eyes glowed as she saw a security guard watching the monitors. She searches to see if there are others, but it seems like he is the only one.

Guess, they are too laid back because no one had thought of robbing the goody heroes at night.

"Guys, the guard is the only one there." She informed them. They all looked and saw that security guard. Great, now what can they do? That was when Mal had the idea, she saw what she needed. Who knew she was her mother's daughter?

The Sleeping Beauty's spinning wheel. The one that put Sleeping Beauty to sleep.

"That's your mother's spinning wheel?" Jay questioned snickering while Carlos giggled with him, "Yeah, kinda dorky."

"It's magic, it doesn't have to look scary." Mal defended her mother. "Magic spindle does not linger. Make my victim prick a finger." Mal recited from her spell book.

The guard yawned widely but otherwise nothing happened. Lenora deadpanned as she looked at Mal with a 'Really' look.

"Impressive." Jay joked once again.

Carlos held up his arm for emphasis. "Yeah, I got chills."

Lenora perked up an idea.

"Mal," She called her as she gestured her hand for her to hold. "Together. We can do anything." With her magic and Mal's, they can do anything.

Mal took hold of her hand and spoke the spell.

"Prick the finger," Mal started. "Prick it deep," Lenora continued. "Send our enemy off to sleep." They finished together.

The guard stood up carefully and surveyed the room. He approached the spindle with curiosity, very carefully, and tentatively extended a finger to touch it. He pierced his finger, stretched out on the elevated platform, balled himself up, and dozed off.

"Not so dorky now huh?" Mal boasted as she reached for the doorknob only to find out it was locked.

"Stand back," Jay spoke smugly and then backed away from the group.

"Make it easy make it quick. Open up. Without a kick."

The doors flew open just as Jay charged with a loud yell, jumping to kick them open but instead just flew in, landing on his butt.

The three girls laughed as they walked past him. "Coming?" Mal asked him to tease.

They snuck past the sleeping guard while gazing around the room. Carlos stood back and Lenora went back to grab him by the jacket.

"Do we need to do this again? Carlos!" Lenora whisper-yelled.

"Coming!"

"So close!" Evie told them as they ran down a hallway towards the wand. "Upstairs!"

They stopped when they came to an exhibit called "Gallery of Villains" after passing by several other relics. They all had their parents in them, looking as wicked as ever.

"Mommy?" Evie questioned staring at the statue of her mother holding Snow White's poisoned apple.

"Killer," Jay commented staring at his father.

"I'll never forget Mother's Day again," Carlos said staring at the statue of his mother chasing some Dalmatians.

"Father?" Lenora stared at the image of her father wearing two big horns, dressed in black and green robes Asgardian holding a staff aiming at his enemies. The puppy looked at her father's image and growled a bit.

Mal saw her mother in all of her glory.

"Well, the wand's not here. Let's bounce." Jay said snapping everyone out of their trance. "Let's go." Jay urged and everyone except Mal.

They followed Evie and found the wand. Lenora said, "Okay Mal what's next?" No answer. They looked around to see if Mal was with them.

But she is probably back there.

Lenora noticed that they needed Mal. She went back to get her.

In the Gallery of Villains, she found Mal still standing there looking at her mother.

"Hey!" Lenora called out to Mal. "Evie found the wand. C'mon. Let's go"

They both ran out to get the wand.

They saw the Wand. The fairy godmother's wand is said to be powerful magic. As her four friends saw the wand, Lenora had an eye for another prize. Deep in the safe lies what her father needs. The stones of infinity power.

She looked back as they were distracted by the wand. She quickly and silently. She saw a red laser, no doubt they wanted to make sure no one tried to take it.

"Okay, I love a challenge," She mumbled as She put her purse and coaxed her pup to walked out. Lenora ordered it to get the stones. The pup panted and let out its tongue as he waddled to the shiny new toys.

The stones are glowing as he slowly walks past the lights easily since they are up above him.

Lenora waved her hand to move the box to make the stairs for the little guy. He yapped and wagged his tail. He slowly yet eagerly climbs up the made-up stairs. Itched by itched, he reached up to the floating rocks.

He was about to nip them for his mistress.

Red lights started and alarm systems blew loudly.

The poor pup got scared as he ran back to Lenora. She grabbed hold of him and cursed over this folly.

"Okay, who's the idiot?" Lenora loudly shouted as they ran to escape.

"JAY!" All three of them yelled and blamed Jay for this.

"Why?" Jay shouted. He doesn't get it. Is this his fault?

They ran through the entrance, but Carlos had stopped to, cease the alarms and answer the phone.

"Carlos!" Lenora hissed again this time out of fear of being caught.

"You're welcome." He sassed and then ran to catch up.

"Way to go, Jay, no we have to go to school tomorrow," Mal complained as they ran back towards the school.

Great. How can this get any worse?
