It was important to Cilan and Skyla that their respective teams liked each other. Cilan's Pokémon liked Skyla well enough, and her Pokémon liked him too. With one exception.
Swanna.
Skyla's ace had always regarded him with a cool indifference. Cilan had tried, but Swanna just didn't seem to like him. It made Cilan anxious. Skyla always assured him Swanna would come around eventually, but it always looked at him with that cool air of "you're not the first, and you won't be the last."
Still, Cilan wouldn't let that deter him. He'd make Swanna like him eventually…
