Two days had passed since Naruto had bought a new home. The house consisted of two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a guest reception area. It was located in one of the best buying areas in Konoha, far from the clan districts.
Where did he get the money? It was simple-Naruto had stored money in one of the storage seals on his body. He had always done this since discovering the storage seal, especially since his apartment had been repeatedly targeted by thieves. Old habits don't die, even if the strongest in the world wouldn't rule out being robbed, just like what happened in his childhood.
Naruto also bought the same clothes he had before-a black shirt with red stripes, black pants, and black sandals.
Currently, Naruto was walking toward the Ninja Academy to take the genin exam. He didn't want to be with the "scallions"-a term he used for weaklings who dreamt of saving princesses, the same dream he had when he was thirteen. The difference now was that they were sixteen.
But he could only blame Kura-chan, who had convinced him to take the test.
"I still don't understand why I have to undergo this stupid test with these weaklings," Naruto muttered, annoyed, addressing the fox spirit inside him.
"Come on, Naruto. I told you before-you'll get bored. Uzumaki blood runs fast in you; soon you'll feel the boredom. I feel it too. Now go, let me sleep."
"You're a lazy fox, and your persuasion skills are terrible."
Naruto arrived at the academy's entrance, and nothing surprised him. The last dead remain the same, and he was still mocked incessantly by the children of the Fourth Hokage.
He entered the academy, walking slowly with his hands in his pockets, until he reached the classroom door-his same classroom from his previous world, except Iruka didn't seem to care about him here. He ignored Naruto, just like everyone else, whether it was his godparents or the Third Hokage. He didn't even have a connection with the ramen shop owners.
Before Naruto opened the door, he noticed that the chunin instructor, Iruka, was looking at him.
"Excuse me, did I arrive late, Iruka-sensei?" Naruto said, his tone indifferent-unlike his usual loud self.
"Naruto-san, is that you?"
"And who else would it be?"
"Well, you've arrived. Come in with me," Iruka said, still in shock, noting the changes in his student-his red, smooth hair instead of the spiky blond, and wearing proper shinobi clothes instead of the tacky orange jumpsuit.
Iruka opened the door, and as they entered, everyone stopped what they were doing, turning their attention to them. However, they didn't remain quiet.
Naruto followed Iruka into the classroom, and as he entered, the room fell silent. The boys began scrutinizing him, while the girls threw curious glances, hearts visible in their eyes. One of the girls from the Hokage family, Mito Uzumaki Namikaze, asked Iruka:
"Excuse me, Iruka-sensei, but who is the boy behind you?" she asked, her gaze fixed on Naruto.
Naruto looked at the classroom, particularly at Mito.
"Mito-san, this is Naruto-san, if you didn't recognize him."
"EEEEH!" Everyone in the classroom exclaimed.
Even a girl with pink hair and another with spiky blond hair similar to Naruto's in his previous world said simultaneously, "It can't be Naruto baka! Naruto-ni-san!"
The instructor said, "Narako-san, Sakura-san, please be quiet. You're disrupting the class. Naruto-san, please go to your seat."
With a bored expression, Naruto walked to the back of the class and sat down. As he moved, his gaze shifted from Mito to Sakura. She looked the same as she did when he returned from his training trip. Then he looked at Naruko, who only resembled him. She was wearing an orange jacket close to black, orange shorts, and black sandals. Her spiky blond hair was tied in a ponytail on either side, and she had the same whisker marks. In short, she was more Namikaze than Uzumaki.
Naruto began to feel the hateful eyes on him, mixed with curious ones. He looked to see where the hateful stares were coming from and saw a red-haired boy glaring daggers at him. He then turned to the curious ones and noticed another difference-Satsuki Uchiha Heiress of the Uchiha Clan, instead of Sasuke Uchiha.
From his memories, this body only carried bad memories of the girl who treated him like a game, at the request of the red-haired boy, Minma.
Naruto ignored all the stares directed at him, especially from the Uchihas and their supposed siblings.
"Alright, students, I'm happy to announce that your journey ends here at the Ninja Academy. I'm pleased to say this is your final exam. Once you finish the written test, we'll move outside to complete the practical portion, monitored by the Hokage and your families."
Chunin instructor Iruka handed out the exam papers to the class and sat down to wait.
Naruto glanced at his paper. "Hey, Kura-chan, was this test always this easy?"
"Yes, Naruto-chan. The problem was you were always an idiot."
"Alright, alright, I get it."
After about fifteen minutes, Naruto stood from his seat and approached the instructor.
"Naruto-san, is there a problem?"
Then Minma jumped in, saying, "Of course, the garbage is too stupid to know what's on the test!" and began laughing.
Naruto ignored Minma and said, "I'm done, Iruka-sensei." He handed in his paper and left the classroom to the shocked silence of everyone, leaving them with dropped jaws. "Impossible! Iruka-sensei's idiot couldn't possibly have answered correctly. I bet everything is wrong."
Iruka, shocked by the paper in front of him, said, "Actually, Minma, everything is correct."
The whole class sat there in shock. "Alright, that's the end of your test."
Meanwhile, in the viewing area of the testing arena,
"Tell me, Minato-kun, who do you think will come out first?" Kushina Uzumaki, the second Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi, asked.
"Well, Kushina-chan, I'd say Minma, but the written test was never his strength. Most likely Mito or Satsuki," Minato, the Fourth Hokage, replied.
"Definitely my granddaughter will be the first," Tsunade Senju, the greatest medical ninja and the godmother of Minato and Kushina's children, stated proudly.
"Why should Mito, my daughter, be better?" Mikoto Uchiha, mother of Satsuki and head of the Uchiha clan after her husband's death, argued.
"Agreed. Minma is dumb when it comes to written tests, and Narako isn't much better. Most likely Mito or Satsuki," Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, said with pride, despite not favoring Mito over others.
They heard footsteps approaching from below, waiting for someone to emerge first. However, they were all stunned when the person who stepped out was not who they had expected. Even the proud matriarchs, including Kushina, Tsunade, and even Mikoto, flushed in surprise.
And they all shared one thought: from the Byakugo seal's red hair, according to what they knew, Kushina mito was the two last pure Uzumaki.
