Hi, everyone! Welcome to Book II of the Mizuki series. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 17

"DIE!"

Another creature was destroyed in an explosion, Katsuki emerging from the smoke. The mud creature crumbled behind him. His feet touched the ground and then started to run at full speed once more.

"Out of my way!"

Mizuki kicked a creature in its face, a large explosion erupting from her feet. The eruption tore straight through the mud and it disintegrated into nothing.

Eijiro watched as the twins continued to plunder through the mud creatures. Like everyone else, they were giving their all and grinning all the way. Even though the two of them weren't on speaking terms, they were competing without realizing it. Every time Katsuki destroyed a beast, Mizuki destroyed a beast.

"Hey… I thought they were angry at each other…but it seems completely normal!" Sero pointed out, a bit out of breath. Another creature fell behind him that Aoyama blasted through, his face turning a light shade of blue.

"Does it really matter? As long as they get rid of these things at that rate, it doesn't matter if they're on bad terms," Mineta pointed out, Kaminari agreeing with a faint 'whey'. Everyone had already either passed their limit or was nearing it fast.

Shoto dodged an attack from a mud monster, freezing its lower body as he did so. It was destroyed by a cannon that Momo made, the female also out of breath and feeling the strain of making ammunition.

Duo coloured eyes rested on Mizuki's figure as she ran and then travelled towards the steam that faded from her legs. He moved towards her, eyes shining with a peculiar emotion.

"Mizuki, be careful not to overheat your legs," Shoto spoke as he came in next to the ash blonde female. "If you feel you're overheating, let me know so I can help you." Mizuki glanced at the male with an expression that spelled out her unimpressed reaction.

"Thanks, Mom." He gave her a small frown and she rolled her eyes, a smirk coming on her lips. "You have a lot of energy left if you can still worry about me. Shouldn't you be more concerned about the creatures and getting to the camp?" Mizuki asked.

"I care more about you," Shoto's reply was instant and it made Mizuki's eyes widen. She watched his serious expression and swallowed thickly at the intense gaze. She tore her eyes away from the male, a smile reaching her lips.

"When did you become such a softy?" She murmured in a hushed tone before her instincts yelled at her. She barely had enough time to avoid the claw that was sent her way, ice already bursting towards the creature.

Katsuki came out from behind her and let loose an explosion, destroying the creature. Mizuki watched the back of her brother as he grinned. She could feel the faintest emotion coming from deep within her and then smirked.

Show off. She thought and set off once more. She could hear the faint yelling of her brother towards Shoto for being in his way. She rolled her eyes and let out a chuckle. Even with the void inside her, she knew there was a little part of her that was still alright.

Katsuki kept a close eye on his sister, noting the lessening of tension between them as they continued. Katsuki had the same goal in mind as his sister, fighting against the mud beasts and feeling the stinging of his arms as he continued

Get to the camp without dying.

5:30 PM…

This entire day was filled with pure torture. She hated this camp. She hated their heartless homeroom teacher. She hated the group of pro heroes despite only having the chance to meet half of them.

Her body ached, her legs giving off a faint red colour alongside her arms as heat surged through those areas. A park of her uniform shirt was burnt at the back, her socks and shoes already long gone.

Her feet had blisters and she was sure a few splinters from running around on bare feet. Her muscle fibres were torn and sore. She was tired, out of breath and most of all, she was practically dying of hunger.

"Ah, you finally made it, meow!"

The class of 1-A finally emerged from the forest, some limping, some scowling and the rest were merely utterly tired. Mizuki let out a breath as she came to a stop next to Izuku, Eijiro plopping down on the ground. Katsuki scowled as he held his sore arms and Shoto wiped away the sweat from his face.

"What do you mean three hours?!"

"That's the time it would've taken us. Sorry!" Mandalay replied with a big smile, her singing tone only adding to Mizuki's agitation. It reminded her of the internship with Endeavor. The difference was enormous and it was frustrating.

"You were trying to boast about how much better you are? That's so mean…" Sato spoke as he sat next to Eijiro, his one hand on his growling stomach. Ochaco held her mouth as the nausea washed over her and Tsuyu put a soothing hand on her shoulder.

"I'm hungry… I'm gonna die…" Eijiro rasped out, his stomach growling in reply along with a few other students' stomachs as well. However, they didn't make it by noon, meaning that the chances of anyone getting food was very slim, much to their horror.

"But honestly, I thought it would take even longer. You guys didn't have as hard of a time beating my earth beasts as I thought you would. You guys are great… Especially…you five!" Pixie Bob exclaimed and pointed towards Iida, Izuku, Shoto, Mizuki and Katsuki.

"Were you able to act without hesitation because of your experience?" She liked her lips and then pounced towards them, Mizuki feeling a shiver run down her spine. "I'm looking forward to where you'll be in three years! I call dibs!" She shouted, pouncing towards them.

Mizuki yelped and quickly brought her hands up to her face to try and stop the female from kissing her. It was no use, she attacked them relentlessly and the poor ash blonde female couldn't do anything with her tired body.

"Mandalay, was she always like that?" Aizawa asked as he pointed towards the peculiar behaviour. Mizuki glared at the male who didn't do anything to assist them while the rest of the class also merely stared.

"She's a little desperate, since she's about the suitable age for, you know…" Mandalay spoke and Mizuki's eyebrows twitched.

"Speaking of suitable age-""What about it?" Pixie Bob cut Izuku off once again, a paw gripping his face painfully. Izuku paled and swallowed thickly, lifting a trembling hand.

"I-It's been bothering me for a while... Whose child is that?" Izuku asked, pointing at the kid. Mizuki blinked a few times and cocked her head to the side. When did he get here? She never noticed him.

The small boy was about the same height as Mineta. He wore a white collared shirt with buttons, dark shorts and black boots. He had short, spiky black hair and wore a red hat with two golden spike-shaped horns in the front.

Kota Izumi
Age: 5
Quirk: Unknown

"Oh, not one of ours. He's my cousin's kid. Come on, Kota. Greet everyone. You'll be with them for the next week," Mandalay told the young boy. Mizuki frowned at the look in his eyes. It was too nostalgic. She saw those eyes once upon a time from two of the boys standing next to her.

Izuku, however, was oblivious to the boy's expression and walked over with a kind and warm smile plastered on his face. This was not going to end well. Izuku held out a hand towards the smaller boy and bent down slightly.

"Oh, um, I'm Midoriya from U.A. High School's hero course. Nice to meet you," Izuku said and received the blow of a lifetime. The boy punched the green haired teenager right between the legs and had him turn white in pain, Mizuki dumbstruck at what happened.

Did he just punch him in the balls?

"Midoriya-kun!" Iida was quick to rush over towards the male's aid while the boy walked away. "You brute of a nephew! Why would you do that to Midoriya's scrotum?!" Iida yelled out as he caught the falling teenager.

Scrotum?

"I don't intend to hang out with guys who want to become heroes!" The boy snapped back, his facial expression dark. Mizuki blinked, her face falling as she looked at the little boy. What did he have to go through to make such a face at such a young age?

"Precocious brat," Katsuki said and Mizuki snapped out of her thoughts. Katsuki wore a smug grin and she could tell that he was savouring the moment. Typically. Poor Izuku was in great pain and she didn't think that she would be able to be much of an aid.

"Isn't he kind of like you?"

"What? Not at all!" Katsuki snapped at the divided hair coloured male. "Anyway, shit up, you GG bastard!" Mizuki had to stifle her laugh, the sound only coming out as a small snort. It was very soft but they both heard it, enough to make them both feel brief warmth until Aizawa spoke up.

"Enough with this charade. Get your stuff off the bus," Aizawa said, everyone's attention moving towards him. "Once you've put your bags in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria. After that, you'll bathe and go to sleep. We'll start for real tomorrow. Now, move quickly."

Mizuki let out a breath and let her shoulders slump. Start for real tomorrow? Was this only a trail run? She thought and dragged her feet towards the bus to get her luggage. She felt hot, tired and hungry. She had a feeling that it wouldn't get better over the next week.

A smirk came onto her lips and she resisted a chuckle. The thought of their training session added to her excitement and nervousness. Aizawa wanted to train her new Quirk and despite her relief of starting to get it under control, she was worried.

What if she lost control again?

"Mizuki." The ash blonde teenager flinched when she felt a pressure on her shoulder and retreated immediately from the touch. She was surprised, much like the other person who was staring at her with concerned eyes.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. Are you alright?" Shoto asked and watched the brief gleam of panic in the pair of crimson orbs. He was taken back by the sudden action, his brows knitting together.

Mizuki blinked as she took in the male's appearance. She mustered up a smile and nodded. "Yeah, sorry about that. I guess I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice you standing there," Mizuki told him but Shoto wasn't convinced. After all, the smile didn't reach her eyes.

"What-""Mizuki-chan! Let's get out stuff to the room so we can eat! Dinner's ready!" Mina called as she waved alongside Ochaco towards the ash blonde girl. Mizuki grinned and nodded, shouting back that she was on her way before glancing back at Shoto.

"Let's go eat, shall we?"

At Dinner…

"Thank you for the food!"

Mizuki hummed happily as she continued to eat the delicious variety of food that was prepared for them. She ate eagerly, her stomach rumbling either as a demand for more or in ecstasy for the food.

She sat between Mina and Ochaco as they ate, her brother sitting diagonally across from her. Iida conversed freely with the brown-haired girl, Izuku sitting opposite of them and enjoying the conversation alongside the meal.

"Really? So the girls' room is normal size?" Sero asked as he sat next to Jiro. They were on the table behind the others, everyone split in two tables as the pro heroes filled up on some of the empty plates.

"Are the boys in a big room?"

"I wanna see it! Hey, can I go see it later?" Mina asked, the ash blonde sitting next to her chuckling. Sero nodded in agreement while two other boy individuals were stuffing themselves with tears forming in the corner of their eyes.

"So good! Rice is so good! It's soaking into my internal organs! It's a match for Lunch Rush's cooking! I can keep chewing forever!" Kaminari and Eijiro exclaimed, everyone sweat dropping at the pace they were eating.

They suddenly stopped eating, their eyes wide in shock as some type of realization washed over them. "A clay pot? Is that from a clay hotpot?!" Eijiro asked Pixie Bob, eyes wide in disbelief and had everyone snickering.

"Yeah. Man, it looks like you guys were so hungry that you're acting weird…" Pixie Bob said and Mizuki glanced at her. Too bad for her. This was actually quite normal for their class. They would find that out sooner or later.

"Anyway, today's the only day we'll be doing stuff for you, so eat as much as you can," Pixie Bob told them. Only day? She could only hope that it didn't mean they had to cook for themselves because then she would starve to death.

"Oh, Kota. Can you bring those veggies?" Mandalay asked the young boy and Mizuki caught sight of Izuku glancing at Kota. It would seem that a punch to the family jewels weren't enough to get the green haired boy not to mix himself up with something unwanted.

Then again, it was Izuku she was talking about. He had done it multiple times in the past and it was probably never going to stop. She didn't know who she felt sorry for the most. Izuku's physical state or the boy?

Speaking of the male, there was still something that he was keeping from her. Something happened once again and she wanted to know what exactly. She would soak those worries into the bath after she ate. She would worry about everything later on. For now, she only wanted to fill her stomach.

The women's hot bath…

No new messages.

She stared at the bold text on her phone and frowned deeply. That meant there was no news from the missing persons' case. It means that Rinako was still missing and there were still no leads. The thought was frustrating.

What if they didn't find any clues? What if they didn't find any possible footage of what happened? Worst of all, what if they didn't find her?

"Mizuki-san, are you coming?" Ochaco asked as she came in next to the girl and had her snap out of her thoughts. Ochaco blinked and looked at the girl with big brown eyes filled with concern. She had been acting strange ever since dinner time.

"Yeah, I'm coming. There's no way I'll miss a piece of heaven like this!" Mizuki smirked and put away her phone, closing the locker door. She walked out confidently, Ochaco and Tsuyu briefly looking at each other and then back at the girl again.

"Neh, neh, Mizuki-chan, let's wash each other's backs!" Mina suggested, running towards Mizuki without a care or a towel. She paled slightly at the girl's giddy behaviour and then snickered with a shake of her head.

"Alright, but you better not wash half of I'll be blowing your ass up," Mizuki threatened playfully and Mina saluted. Her bounciness lifted the atmosphere of the baths and had everyone enjoy the calmness after a long day.

They all let out a satisfying sigh as they finally stepped into the hot water. The heat soaked into their skin, the steam warming them up to the brim. Who would've thought that it would feel this wonderful?

"Pwah! This is amazing! I can get used to this!" Ochaco exclaimed happily, cheeks tinted as she soaked inside the warm water. She nearly melted and became one with the heaven she experienced the others joining in.

Mizuki briefly closed her eyes and lifted her head up to the sky. She could feel her straining muscles finally come to a rest and the stiffness of her legs evaporated. Small droplets of water dripped from her spiky hair, most of her body submerged.

"You know, I've noticed it before but damn… Mizuki, you're ripped! What type of training did you have to go through to look like that?" Mina asked, pointing at the ash blonde who slowly opened her crimson orbs.

Mizuki smirked, crimson eyes blazing. "Daily intense training. There was no room for slacking off even if I was tired. It was thrilling and still is," she answered and the pink skinned female sweat dropped.

She trained beside her brother and stuck with a tough training program. She refused to back down no matter what. The thought had a sad smile forming onto her face. Had she already been a nuisance back then?

"Mmm? But even if you did train like that, how come you're still big?" Mina asked and had the girls all blinking. Mizuki felt her cheeks tint slightly from where the girl was pointing, yet she decided to smirk to hide her embarrassment.

"Some things you can't change, Little Mina," Mizuki countered and had the pink skinned girl flush a deep crimson at her words. She pouted childishly and crossed her arms over her chest while grumbling out something incoherent underneath her breath.

"Still, I think it's admirable at how you kept your body in such a good condition, Mizuki-san," Yaoyorozu complimented the ash blonde teenager. "We should all make sure to not only train ourselves mentally but also physically to become aspiring heroes."

"Yeah! We have this entire week to become stronger! I believe we can do it!" Ochaco stated proudly, making a fist and had the others smiling back at her. Tsuyu cocked her head to the side and tapped her chin with her index finger.

"I wonder what Aizawa Sensei has planned for us, ribbit. He even has the Pussycats here to help out with not only lending their land but also their assistance," Tsuyu spoke, the motives behind the scruffy haired male unknown.

"Stop!" Mina held out a hand, surprising everyone. "We already had a tough time today. Let's talk about something else? Something much more exciting! Like, boys!" She said and had everyone around her pale slightly.

"Boys? What's there to talk about?" Mizuki asked and raised an eyebrow. "I assure you that they're all on the other side of that wall scheming to peek on us or thinking about the weirdest things." She pointed towards the side wall and had shivers run down the girls' backs.

"What about Kirishima?" Mina asked and the girl blinked, everyone's attention drawn towards her. Mina grinned widely and slapped her hands together. "You two have been lovey-dovey for a long time now. This training camp is probably a dream come true for you two!"

"What? No! It's not like that! Why is everyone's head in the gutter?" She asked, shaking her head in disapproval. "Look, we're here to train. Nothing else." Akira had clearly shown her own perspective on the camp but it was only speculation.

"But you and Kirishima are dating, right?" Jiro spoke as she relaxed against the rock wall inside the warm bath. "There's nothing wrong if you two want to spend some time together. We're here to have fun too." Everyone stared at Mizuki, the female's face heating up drastically.

"We're not-I'm not-He's not-We're not dating…" Mizuki fell over her own words and caused a brief silence to linger over the girls. They then all exclaimed in shock at the revelation and she wanted to bury herself six feet underground.

"W-What do you mean you're not dating?! Y-You two… I mean you… How?" Mina was struggling to take in what she was told. Her brain was short circuiting as she recalled all the scenes where she saw Mizuki and Eijiro happily together.

"Did something happen?"

"No, nothing happened," Mizuki stated with a small chuckle. The female twin only smiled and looked down at the water.

"I guess he's waiting for the right moment? I don't know. Maybe it's better this way. We have a lot to concentrate on, especially with the training and everything," Mizuki excused and winced when she received a flick on the forehead from Mina.

"Don't try and justify that boy's behaviour! He should've asked you out ages ago! If there's one thing that you should know is that boys are complete airheads when it comes to stuff like this! You should ask him!" The pink haired girl declared.

"No, thank you." The reply had everyone blink in surprise. Mizuki relaxed and stared up at the breath-taking starry sky above them. She didn't have to explain the reasons behind her statement. After all, her heart was something that not many people would or could ever understand.

"Besides, I'm not the only one who has someone…" Mizuki added, a gleam of mischief passing through her eyes. She glanced at Ochaco, the brown-haired girl staring at the thumb that was pointed towards her.

"Little Miss Zero Gravity likes-""Hahahaha! Mizuki-san, you're so funny!" Ochaco had slapped her hand over the girl's mouth to stop her from finishing the statement. She laughed obnoxiously and nervously, everyone giving her sceptical looks.

"Haha! I don't have anyone! Anyway! I completely forgot that I had to talk to Mizuki-san about something! Be right back!" Ochaco exclaimed and took the poor ash blonde female along with her, leaving everyone else except Tsuyu dumbstruck.

Ochaco rushed as far as possible before letting out a sigh of relief. No one followed them. The coast was clear. That was close, too close. If she reacted a moment later, her secret would've been revealed to the world.

She heard a scoff from next to her and yelped as she pulled away from Mizuki. "S-Sorry about that! B-But you can't say it to anyone!" Ochaco apologized and watched as the female gave her a raised eyebrow.

"Say what?" Ochaco turned slightly blue from the question. "That you're head over heels in love with Izu-kun?" Mizuki said aloud and Ochaco hushed her, eyes rapidly looking for anyone who might've heard her.

"It's as clear as day, Ochaco." Ochaco blushed at her words and Mizuki let out a breath. "Most of our class is filled with airheads but there are definitely a few that already know. It's painfully obvious and kind of cute," she added and had steam come out from the girl's ears.

"W-What-B-B-But-"

Mizuki put a hand on her shoulder and gave her a smile. "Don't stress too much about it. There's nothing wrong with having a crush," she told the flustered girl who looked as if she was about to explode.

"I know but…"

"But what?" Mizuki could see there was something bothering the poor female who was averting her eyes towards the ground. "Ochaco, what is the real reason you don't want anyone to know?" She urged and had the female bite her bottom lip.

Then it all suddenly made sense as Mizuki's thoughts fell into place. Ochaco was happy with merely watching him from afar. She kept her feelings to herself and only pushed onwards. She hadn't made any moves and kept admiring Izuku from the shadows.

This girl…

Mizuki smirked and ruffled the brown-haired female's hair. "It's okay for you to admire him. Just know that he's the most oblivious boy on this earth. The day you decide to take the next step, I'll be there if you need me," she said, Ochaco's eyes widening.

"What did Mina say? Oh right. I'm your number one supporter!" Mizuki said with a laugh, her words causing the girl to become a deep red. She watched as Mizuki walked off with a wave and couldn't help but feel flabbergasted and a tinge of envy.

She was brave and courageous. She didn't let anything stand in her way to ask Eijiro out on a date. She went for what she wanted and Ochaco didn't think she could do the same. She appreciated Mizuki's motivation and support, but this was something she needed to do on her own.

She needed to face her feelings.

There was a rumble that reached everyone's ears, followed by an explosion coming from the other side of the wall. Everyone's eyes were wide at the ice that stuck out from over the wooden wall, their mouths running dry.

"What the hell did those idiots do now?" Mizuki thought with a growl and felt a headache form as her temper flared. It was barely their first day on the training camp and they were already breaking down everything.

They were going to get it.

5 minutes later…

"Let me get this straight…" Mizuki said through gritted teeth, her hand massaging her temple to soothe the headache. She stood in a black tracksuit that she brought along to sleep in, crimson eyes briefly closed and not looking at the troublemakers in front of her.

Shoto, Katsuki, Eijiro and Iida stood in front of her, each already changed into comfortable sleeping wear. The two guilty parties were on the right-hand side, Katsuki glaring at the ground and Shoto averting his eyes.

"Mineta tried to peek on the girls and then caused Shoto to freeze up the entire hot bath with the rest of the boys inside. Katsuki then blew past it all and caused a hole in the wooden wall and more damage to the hot baths," Mizuki explained the situation aloud.

"Then Red tried to stop the entire thing but was unable to. Mineta crashed into Iida who wanted to stop him as well but the one who did the correct thing was the spiky hat kid who also nearly fell to his doom if it wasn't for Izu-kun. Did I miss anything?" She asked, crimson orbs opening up while glaring.

"No…"

"I sincerely apologize, Mizuki-kun!" Iida bowed down dramatically, his voice loud and making Eijiro sweat drop. "It was my duty to stop everything from happening but I failed! I shall take full responsibility!" Iida exclaimed.

"Hey, it was an accident. It all happened so fast. It's no one's fault," Eijiro told the deputy class representative. He put a hand on Iida's shoulder and gave him a reassuring grin. Iida looked at him with a hopeful look until they heard Mizuki scoff.

"I beg to differ, Red." They swallowed thickly at her tone. Mizuki sighed and rubbed the back of her head. "Anyway, what's done is done. There's nothing we can do now. Shoto already got rid of his ice. As for the damaged bath, I'll talk to the pro heroes and Aizawa Sensei about it," Mizuki stated.

"You don't have to, Mizuki-kun! I-"

The girl waved her hand to cut off the male and gave him a smirk. "You already helped out with everything, Four-Eyes. I'm the class representative so I'll take responsibility for these idiots' actions," she pointed at the guilty party.

"B-But-""No buts. If we're requested to do anything more, I'll let you and Momo know. For now, rest up for tomorrow. We have a big day ahead of us and I want everyone up and running!" Mizuki said with a grin.

"I'll be sure to wake up everyone first thing tomorrow morning! You can count on me, Mizuki-kun!" Iida said and she chuckled with a nod. "Please let me know if you need any assistance! Have a good night's rest!"

"Thanks, you too, Four-Eyes."

"You two, we're going to bed!" Iida told the two troublemakers. He received a glare and a scoff from Katsuki, the ash blonde boy walking away with hands pocketed. This was ridicules and an absolute waste of his time.

"Sorry about the inconvenience, Mizuki," Shoto apologized and the ash blonde girl gave him a small smile. She wasn't angry at them. A bit agitated, yes, but not angry. After all, they were trying to stop a crime from happening. Unfortunately, they brought destruction along with their actions.

Boys will be boys.

"Don't lose sleep over it. As long as you promise not to freeze a perfectly relaxing hot bath," she stated as she pointed towards him. "Only freeze the culprit next time." Her words had Eijiro chuckle and Shoto smiled lightly.

"Yeah."

"Good, now go sleep already! I have things to do!" Mizuki shooed the male and pushed him to walk away. He gave her a glance and then walked off with a faint whisper of goodnight. She rested her hands on her hips and smirked.

"Those idiots…" She then looked back at Eijiro and her smirk formed into a grin. "Thanks for helping out, Red. I know it didn't help but it's the thought that counts. You have my permission to give them both a knock next time they want to cause trouble," she said and he laughed sheepishly.

"Yeah, they were actually really angry at Mineta for trying to peek. I almost thought Bakugou was going to kill him," Eijiro said and Mizuki's face fell into a saddened expression. He felt a squeeze in his chest and tried to give her a soothing smile.

"You should probably get to bed, Red. I'll see you first thing tomorrow for training," she told the male, changing the subject immediately to rid herself of unwanted emotions. Eijiro leaned in and put his forehead on hers.

"I'm right here, okay?" He said, Mizuki's cheeks tinting lightly as warmth spread through her. She nodded and closed her eyes to savour the moment. He kissed her on her forehead and gave her a soft smile.

"Goodnight, Mizuki," he softly whispered to her and then walked off. Mizuki's face flushed a deep crimson and she snapped towards his figure. She found her words die out and only stared at him, her heart hammering in her chest.

"Night…Red…" She murmured mostly to herself, a hand coming up to her chest. What did she do to deserve him? He didn't run away. He took on any possible challenge alongside her and when she was sad or upset, he could fill her with warmth.

"Flirting on your training camp?" The voice of Pixie Bob reached Mizuki's ears and caused the girl to yelp. She flushed a deep crimson as she turned around to see the blonde giving her a sly smirk as she leaned against the wall.

"N-No! It's just-That was just… I apologize…" She bowed slightly and caused the pro hero to laugh at the girl's behaviour. She heard everything and heard the girl giving each of the troublemakers a good scolding.

"Don't worry about it, meow. It's good to be young and in love," she said with a grin, the teen not saying anything. After all, she didn't want the pro hero to attack her much like she did with Izuku. Age was a sensitive subject.

"Y-Yeah… A-Anyway, I would like to apologize for my classmates' behaviour. I will take full responsibility for any of the damages that was made and I'll speak to Aizawa Sensei about…" she trailed off when Pixie Bob held up a paw.

"Don't worry about it. Everything is already fixed up. Besides, you already gave them a good scolding, right?" Pixie Bob said and Mizuki blinked in surprise. She heard? She vaguely nodded and the blonde grinned.

"Mi-chan?" Izuku's voice reached their ears. The two females glanced back at the green haired male and his state of clothing. Or rather, state of no clothing. "A-Ah, sorry! Did I interrupt something?" He stuttered and Pixie Bob snickered while shaking her head.

"Nothing at all! I'll be off! Make sure you kitties get enough sleep! Tomorrow's going to be a busy day!" Pixie Bob stated and gave the duo a wave as she walked off. Izuku blinked while Mizuki crossed her arms over her chest.

"Bold of you to come into a conversation dressed with only a cloth," Mizuki pointed towards the green haired boy. She watched as he flushed a deep crimson as he finally realized what state he was in.

She laughed. "Go and get dressed, Perv-zuku. Then we can talk, okay?" Mizuki said and he nodded with a small smile, his embarrassment far from going away. She wanted to thank him for helping the smaller boy and also heard what it was that the teenager was keeping from her.

"I-I'll be out as soon as possible!"

She snickered as she watched him run off and then shook her head. She went to the exit of the building, opening the door to be greeted with a calming wind. The night was breath-taking, the stars glistering in the sky from high above.

The isolation from the city was soothing the storm from inside her, even if only a little bit. She sat down on the wooden porch at the backside of the building, crimson eyes searching the sky for nothing in particular.

She appreciated the solitary. It would always give her peace of mind even if she was far from it. She could sit on this spot for the rest of her life and a part of her would be happy to do so. However, most of her would be too restless to do so.

"It's nice, isn't it?" Izuku's voice reached her ears and Mizuki smiled with a grunt. The male walked out of the door, an All Might t-shirt falling over his upper body and accompanied by a pair of comfortable shorts.

"Yeah… Do you remember that one camping weekend?" Mizuki asked as Izuku came to sit down next to her. "We were still very little, before everything… I asked if you could come with us for the weekend."

Izuku smiled and let out a light laugh. "I remember. Mom was a nervous wreck about the whole thing but she still let me go. I was scared of bears and wolves coming to eat us," he pointed out and she rolled her eyes.

"A real cry baby. That hasn't changed a bit." Izuku paled at her words and felt the stab in his chest. "I don't recall much of it. I do know that one night, Katsuki came and woke us up to watch the night sky. I nearly killed him because he disturbed our beauty sleep…Yet, it was worth it," she trailed off.

"We haven't gone camping since before middle school. I missed it a lot," Mizuki murmured the last part softly. Izuku watched as her crimson eyes gleamed with a bunch of various emotions and stared at the ground.

"You and Kacchan… You haven't talked about what happened, have you?" Izuku asked and received silence as his answer. He expected a sarcastic retort from the teenager but she merely stayed quiet while staring at the sky. He bit his bottom lip, not knowing what to say to motivate his best friend.

What could he say?

"Izu-kun, can I be honest with you for a second?" Izuku looked at the girl and nodded. "I don't know if I'm ready to talk about it. I mean, what am I going to tell him? 'Sorry for being a crap sister. I'll be better next time?' That's not going to make anything better," Mizuki said and Izuku frowned deeply.

"I know everyone keeps telling me that he didn't mean anything or that he regrets it and I know that. Even so, Katsuki's not someone to just spout nonsense. What he said came from bubbling emotions from inside him and I don't know if I can take that on again…" She pulled her legs up to her chest.

"Mi-chan…" It was unusual for her to react this way. She would always get rid of the uneasiness or tension no matter what the consequences. This time, however, it was different. "Do you think you'll be able to forgive him?"

"Forgive? There's nothing to forgive, Izu-kun. I don't blame him at all. I can't even imagine wanting to be mad at him for long or even to hate him. He's my twin, my brother, my best friend. I love him. I just don't know if I can be there for him right now," Mizuki said and Izuku's brows knitted together.

"It should be the other way around, Mi-chan." She glanced at his blazing green eyes. "Kacchan should be there for you. He should be helping you. He should be there for you," Izuku pointed out and Mizuki chuckled bitterly.

"You sneaky shit. You know about Rinako, don't you?" She asked and watched as his eyes briefly widen, her answer in his reaction. "I don't even want to know how you came across that information. Is that why you've been hiding something from me?"

Izuku shifted uncomfortably under her heated gaze and bit her bottom lip. He tried to hide it but as always, he was a bad liar. She didn't know if she was grateful for his thoughtfulness or if she should be beating him up for hiding something from her once again.

"Well, what is it? Spit it out."

"Um, well, you see…" He played with his fingers, her eyes narrowing onto him. He swallowed thickly and let his hands fall onto his lap. "That day we went shopping at the mall… I was confronted by Shigaraki Tomura," he spoke softly and Mizuki's eyes widened in horror.

"N-Nothing bad happened! He wanted to talk and it was the safest choice. After all, he would hurt anyone if I didn't comply. He was looking for answers. Answers about Stain and his conviction and why he was frustrated about it all," Izuku continued.

"It ended with All Might being the true reason behind it all. Luckily, Uraraka-san showed up and he let me go. I tried to get something more out of him but he vanished. The police closed the mall that day and I was interrogated," he finished and caught sight of Mizuki's agitated facial expression.

"Showing himself in a public place like that? He's crazy. I'm glad to hear that you're okay at least…" The day of the mall trip was the day… Mizuki gave him a small smile. "And, um, thanks for…you know." She didn't finish her sentence, Izuku smiling kindly.

"You think they're going to make a move again?"

Izuku blinked and then frowned, his hands intertwining. "I don't know. He didn't give anything away," Izuku stated and Mizuki grunted. It was frustrating. He didn't have any clearance about what the League of Villains were planning and he didn't have any answers as to Mizuki's targeting.

"Seems like things are getting quite interesting around here, don't you think?" She spoke up and smirked as she leaned backwards on her arms. She could feel the excitement, the thrill and the angst all rush up in her system.

"I need to get stronger. I need to make sure that I can protect everything that's important!" Izuku made a fist in determination only to receive a slap on his head from Mizuki. He winced and held the aching area.

"Don't get carried away, idiot! You need to make sure not to worry your mother! I know she has nerves of steel at times but I can only imagine what she's been going through. You better stick her for a good day of spa treatment after this training camp!" Mizuki scolded the male.

"Y-Yeah-!" He replied and smiled softly as he thought about his mother. She had bene there for him despite the secrets he had been keeping. Mizuki was right. When all was said and done, he was going to treat his mother.

"We should probably get to bed. It's getting late," the ash blonde girl said and then let out an exasperated sigh. "Tomorrow's training is going to be tough so we better be prepared." Izuku watched as she wanted to stand up and grabbed onto her arm.

"Wait!" She blinked in surprise and watched as his cheeks tinted lightly. "Five more minutes?" He asked, Mizuki briefly caught off guard by the request. She then snickered and nodded, making herself comfortable once more.

"After this, we're going to bed or I'll kill you," she threatened weakly, a gleam of mischief passing through her eyes. Izuku nodded happily with a big, goofy grin. They were both unaware of the duo coloured eyes that gleamed peculiarly behind one of the walls.

"Deal."
