The Minecraft Story: The Beginning: Chapter 48

Where are you, brother?

The night was dark and cold. A few blocks away from Herobrine, he could hear the soft, rhythmic breathing of his mutant zombie. He knew it would soon be recovered from its injuries at Fort Deepslate. The mutant creeper stood idle in some trees. For hours, it had stared into the distance, unmoving. His piglins found it creepy, but Herobrine thought saw it as obedience. These were his monsters, his creations, practically his children.

Herobrine walked over to his creeper and patted one of the long legs, "Don't worry my darling, it won't be long now. We just have to let your brother recover. And you'll get to meet a new sibling soon." Herobrine let out a slight chuckle.

A loud squealing interrupted his thoughts. He jerked his head to sound and found a pigling being attacked by a hoglin. The hoglins were the newest addition to the army. However, they were found to be very unruly. The hoglin bit down on the piglin and it screeched in pain. Blood flew everywhere as the hoglin began to violently shake it.

Plop.

A single drop landed on Herobrine's shirt. Anger swelled up in Herobrine as he walked to the two nuisances. Some piglins were trying to get the hoglin under control. Once they saw Herobrine approaching, they backed off immediately.

More blood splattered onto Herobrine as he got closer. The screeching became unbearable. With one swift motion, he drew his diamond sword and stabbed the hoglin between the eyes.

Thunk.

It fell instantly. The piglin scrambled from inside the jaws. He pulled himself out and was drenched in his own blood.

"T-Thank you m-my lord," The piglin got to his knees, "I'm sorry, t-the hoglin went crazy. It won't again my lord, I promise."

CRACK!

The piglins head hit the tree so hard, it had a giant crack running down the middle of it. The head exploded and a rain of blood and brains came down onto nearby piglins.

Herobrine addressed the nearby piglins, "Keep those filthy hoglins under control."

Herobrine walked back to the creeper who still hadn't moved, "I'm sorry about our interruption. I'm sure you're excited to go to Redwater. Maybe soon, you can meet your uncle." He laughed. "Yes, your uncle Notch. Where is he? WHERE IS HEEEEEE!?"

The nearby piglins scattered into the trees. The mutant creeper glanced down. "He has to show up after this, he has to."

Herobrine walked away and up a steep hill. At the top, he could see lights in the distance; lots of lights. The bustling town of Redwater was so close, but he had to let his mutant zombie heal. His mouth salivated at the thought of attacking it.

So many people. He thought. So much death. I can't wait. He'll have to notice this for sure. And this time, I'll make sure people see me. They'll know who I am.
