Seanzilla115: Greetings once again minna. I dont' own no one in this story, nor the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Ben 10 series, or the Blazblue series. I do though own Haseo Yukimaru Sakurai. Also, say congrates to me and GT for finally doing this! We, or rather I've been waiting to do this crossover for so long! And we're finally doing it!*calms down*sorry about that. Anyway...let's begin, shall we?
Rebel 16: Crossing Continuums
Robotropolis, once the regal and clean Mobotropolis and capital of the planet, was a complete 180 of its former self. The skies were a constant soiled color from the various fumes billowed into the skies from the factories. Within the massive egg-shaped fortress that had overlapped the former castle, Robotnik paced. He had changed since the last time he had seen the Hedgehogs and their two strange allies. His legs were taller, slimmer even. He had to tailor a pair of black formal pants and heeled boots for him to wear. He could feel his body changing with each second and it scared him…it scared him that he wasn't even caring about the changes, that he seemed to be accepting of them. He knew something was wrong with his body and it all began when that blasted Dingo crash-landed on him all those months ago. He was just glad that his upper half hadn't changed at all yet.
"Shockwave, report on your progress with Project: Brute," Robotnik ordered.
=Things are progressing at a logical pace, my lord= Shockwave replied on a nearby screen =Subject Vortex can now attach as an arm for either side of Subject Onslaught. Current progress and revelations suggest that time of completion is one week=
"Excellent," Robotnik nodded, "I can always count on you for the new experiments, Shockwave. Just as you did with creating the new more durable SWAT-No!-EggPawns and the Seekers. Already those two new creations have easily given us more than a hundred Freedom Fighters in the last week, easily a ninety percent efficiency increase."
=I thank you, but I must ask, my lord, what happened to your cranium?= Shockwave asked, noticing that nose of Robotnik was starting to grow as his double-chin was shrinking.
"It's nothing you need to concern yourself with," Robotnik waved him off, cutting off communication and looked towards a mirror, "That Chaos Emerald Crisis a few months ago is still affecting me. But how is it affecting Dingo?" he turned to another screen and brought up an image of Sleet, "Sleet! Where is Dingo?"
=Uh, well, sire…He's…Five days ago, I admitted him into a hospital under your command= Sleet informed =He was coughing up blood=
"So?"
=Blue blood= Sleet stated =I just got a call about him an hour ago. An X-Ray is showing everything but his brain is starting to…well…melt=
"I see…" Robotnik scowled, "Inform me of anything else. And do not transform him into anything."
=Yes, my liege= Sleet bowed before turning off the communication.
'So…It is not just me that's been affected,' Robotnik thought, 'I need to find more information on the Chaos Emeralds, but how?'
The Sonic Underground Freedom Fighters Team looked across the large table at Mr. Smoothy's at the newcomers…mainly the ones that looked like them and Tails. The Tails double had a strange ball-like robot that resembled himself on the table, working on it to try and ignore the tension. Glaring at Sonia was a pink hedgehog with jade eyes. She wore a red dress with a white trimming, a bare back, and the top held up by a gold collar on her neck. She also had red and white boots that went up to her knees and a red band in her shoulder-length hair/quills.
Sitting beside the other Ben that looked to be one or two years older than Ben-he and all the non-Mobian-looking members of the two groups were all in heavy cloaks to hide their species-was a strange alien. He could easily look like a Mobian with his feline-like features and black and blue fur. He wore a blue shirt with white trimmings on the openings and a pair of jeans over black jumpsuit that seemed to let his body 'breathe.' On his head was a hat that complimented his outfit, and hid his ears to make him seem even more Mobian.
Beside the second Makoto, who was drinking an acorn smoothie, was a young woman her age. She had long, flowing red hair-almost scarlet in color-with semi-soft blue eyes. Sonia's eye for detail could see that there was a faint faded outline in her eyes, almost as if she were developing blindness. Under her white heavy cloak was an opened, light-yellow vest over a slightly remodeled version of her previous outfit-at least, the outfit Makoto remembered her Tsubaki wore as a member of the NOL's Zero Squadron-, a small image of a pair of golden, angel wings just below the neck line and the sleeves a bit shorter. She also wore a pair of cream-white shorts that resembled the lower part of her previous outfit with gold trimmings on the waist and openings with a small image of a camellia rose on the side of the left pant leg, and a pair of brown boots with gold trimmings going down the center, and a image of a pair of angel wings on the heels. On her hands was a pair of brown, gold, and cream-white gloves that went up to an inch below her shoulders.
Roll just kept her eyes not on her counterpart, but the Haseo sitting beside her. He was trying to hide himself behind her counterpart, still shy as she could remember a year ago. She looked down at her lap, sadness starting to well inside of her. Sonic was the first to notice her change in attitude and placed a hand on her shoulder. She glanced at him and got a tiny smile from him. She gave it back, but her sadness was still evident in it.
"So…You're not Albedo?" the other Ben asked.
"Dude, do I look like I've got red eyes, white hair, and a dialect that screams 'Super Nerd?'" Ben asked.
"Heh. Good point," the other Ben noted.
"Dude, can we please get over this?" Manic asked as he stopped spinning his sticks, "Are you guys with Robotnik, using some disguises to look like Bro, Step-Sis, and our new buddies?"
"Blunt as ever," Sonia sighed before flicking Manic's ear, "I'm sorry about Manic. My name is Sonia, the middle child of my brothers Sonic and Manic."
"…Hold on a second…Didn't we meet during the Prime Zone's problem with Robo-Robotnik?" the other Sonic asked.
"Oh, yeah!" Sonic blinked, "Man, that was seriously freaky. Did you see that one that had a grasshopper-themed masked helmet?"
"Yeah," Sonic nodded, "Or the one on fire?"
"Or the us with that afro and disco outfit?" both asked in unison as they started to crack up, slapping their knees in their mirth.
"Well…That's one way to break tension, I suppose," the blue alien noted, "I am Rook Blanco."
"My name is Tsubaki Yayoi," the red-haired woman greeted.
"I guess you know me, already," the other Roll noted as her Yacker was having a staring contest with Yacker.
"So who's the dude behind you?" Manic asked.
"Haseo Sakurai, my missing baby brother," Roll replied, earning looks from the others, "You…The you here went missing a year ago on a routine watch my…late clan…used to go on for the home I used to live in back in the Northern Regions of Mobius."
"Oh my…" the other Roll gasped before placing a hand on her shoulder.
"She said 'late clan,' do…does that mean…?" Tsubaki whispered to Makoto.
"It was Jin," Makoto whispered, scowling a little, "He called the Mobians 'Imperfect Beastkin' and were killing them up there."
"J-Jin…?" Tsubaki gasped.
"Yep. But Ben clobbered him with an Astral Heat," Makoto beamed.
"An Astral Heat?" the other Makoto whispered in surprise, "Are you sure it was an Astral Heat?"
"I wouldn't forget an Astral Heat I've witnessed. He used Heatblast for it and summoned meteors and clobbered Jin good for what he did," Makoto replied, a bit uneasy at seeing a second her.
"Sonic, could you tell us what you're talking about?" the pink hedgehog asked her Sonic.
"Well, Amy, you know about Zones, right?" the other Sonic asked.
"…We're in another Zone, aren't we?" Amy asked.
"Bingo," Sonic chuckled.
"Okay, this is getting kinda annoying," Tails noted, "I mean, Haseo, Rook, Sonia, Manic, Tsubaki, and I are okay, but our Zone's doubles of the rest of you…"
"…Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock on who's going to go with our middle name?" Ben asked his other self.
"What?"
"Blame this show I used to watch back on Earth," Ben replied, "Rock, Paper, and Scissors works as normal, but there's also Lizard and Spock. Lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes Scissors, Scissors decapitates Lizard, Lizard eats Paper, Paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes Rock, and Rock crushes Lizard."
"…I'm sorry. What now?" the other Makoto raised a brow.
Ben sighed, "Scissors cuts Paper, Paper covers Rock, Rock crushes Lizard, Lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes Scissors, Scissors decapitates Lizard, Lizard eats Paper, Paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes Rock, and Rock crushes Scissors."
"…One more time," Manic snickered before Sonia pinched his cheek and pulled, "Gah!"
"Bad, Manic," Sonia scolded, "Look, is there some reason you two have to bet each other?"
"…" the two Ben looked at each other, "Uh…"
"It's Kirby," Rook informed.
"Dude!" both Ben snapped at him.
"That is quite…unusual and awkward," Rook admitted as he moved a bit away from the two glaring at him.
"But how did this happen?" Tsubaki asked.
"Well…we could go see the Oracle," Sonic offered.
"Who is that, Sonikku?" Roll asked.
"…Sonikku?" the other Sonic asked, raising a brow in surprise.
"Um…Well…Er…" Sonic coughed into his left fist.
"Dude saved her and now he's married to her," Manic snickered.
"Manic!" Sonic and Sonia barked.
"…What?" Roll, Haseo, and the other Sonic gawked.
"How?!" Amy exclaimed.
"Well, you're not from a clan, are you, Ms. Sakurai?" Sonia asked.
"Iie," the other Roll replied, "And, well, since we're guests in this 'Zone,' you can call me by my middle name; Cyber."
"That does sound polite," Tsubaki noted before looking at her Ben and Makoto.
"…Okay, okay," the other Makoto sighed, "Just call me Nanaya."
"I guess you can call me Kirby," the other Ben sighed.
"…I am not going by my middle name," the other Sonic scowled as Tails was trying to hold back his laughter, knowing the hedgehog's middle name.
"Perhaps you should be the Sonikku," Manic noted.
"You shut up," the two blue hedgehogs scowled.
"Oh! That sounds good!" Cyber noted.
"Oh come on!" Sonikku exclaimed.
"Well, it is polite to your Zone Double to do so in his Zone," Rook noted.
"Fine…" Sonikku scowled, "But we are never speaking of this nickname, got it?"
"Got it, dude," Manic chuckled.
"So who's the Oracle?" Nanaya asked.
"The Oracle of Delphius has helped us out a lot of times," Sonic explained, "It was because of him we were able to gain some skills to fight Ro-butt-nik."
"…" Tails and Sonikku fell over, laughing.
"I-I forgot that nickname!" Tails gasped out.
"Oh! Oh my sides are aching!-!-!" Sonikku pounded a fist on the ground in his mirth.
"…What are they talking about?" Ben asked.
"Well, we call our Robotnik 'Eggman' and…" Amy was cut off when the Royal Hedgehog Triplets' males collapsed in the same manner Tails and Sonikku were in as Sonia was covering her mouth to try to hide her laughter.
"Oh…Oh we have to use that one!" Makoto laughed, her tail going nuts behind her as she had a giggle fit with Roll.
"Hai-hai!" Roll nodded.
"So how are we all getting to this Oracle guy?" Sonikku asked as they walked outside of the town.
"By our ride," Manic replied as he was twirling the keys around a finger…until Ben took them.
"Last time we let you drive, you crashed into a tree," Ben frowned.
"No, I didn't!" Manic argued, "It was a mirage of a tree. Get your facts straight, dude."
"That doesn't help your argument," Tails sweatdropped.
"Sure it does!" Manic beamed.
"Not really," Sonic, Sonikku, and Sonia replied in unison, making the green Hedgehog facefault.
"Okay, we're here!" Sonic informed as they stopped before their transportation.
Sonikku blinked in confusion. This was their way to the Oracle? He looked at his counterpart.
"Hey, I may have super speed, but not my Bro and Sis. So we all agreed to travel in this," Sonic explained, "Of course, Ben finished doing some upgrades to the interior."
"I mainly used GreyMatter for it," Ben shrugged, "Plus, you guys really needed an upgrade."
Everyone looked at him in confusion or surprise. It was mainly Kirby who was surprised by his counterpart. He seemed to be more…older…despite being a year or so younger than him. Ben walked up to the van and tapped it twice with the back of his right hand's knuckles.
Cue: DOCTOR WHO OST – THE TENTH DOCTOR'S THEME
The door hissed before moving inwards and sliding to the right, revealing the interior. Sonikku was the first one inside…and back out just as fast as he came in. He ran around the bus twice before poking his head back in and then out.
"It…It's bigger on the inside!" he gawked at Ben.
Everyone went in after that. The interior of the bus was indeed bigger…and they were just on the first floor! It was mainly a black and green color scheme, reflecting the natural colors that Galvan Prime had for all their technology that was shared with the Plumbers. A door was to their right reading 'Driver's seat plus shotgun' on a gold plate on the door. Yet despite it all, it kept a blend of the upper class, middle class, and lower class designs seemingly blending together.
"I…get carried away at times when I'm GreyMatter," Ben sheepishly replied.
"This is quite impressive," Rook noted as he looked around before turning to Ben, "How were you able to do this with just your Galvin DNA in your Omnitrix?"
"Well, I did this to my house after…" Ben trailed off as he turned from the others, his visage turning towards pain and sadness.
Tsubaki elbowed Rook in the side, getting a look from him. She gave the alien a glare before walking over to Ben. She placed a hand on his shoulder.
"It is fine if you don't wish to tell us, Ben," Tsubaki gently spoke, "But you'll eventually tell someone about what's troubling you, okay?"
"…Maybe," Ben replied, sighing a little, before grinning at everyone, "Did I forget to mention the bedrooms are upstairs along with an arcade and the kitchen while the basement has a pool, sauna, spa, and bowling?"
"…Does the kitchen have a waffle maker?" Manic asked.
"…I will neither confirm nor deny it after seeing what you did last Waffle Sunday," Ben replied before he and Makoto shuddered.
"…Waffle Sunday?" the newcomers repeated.
"Manic has a little…problem…with waffles and pancakes," Sonia whispered, "It was the highlight of living in the lower class for him. But only so much could be made at a time so it was first come, first serve."
"You mean he lived the poor life?" Tsubaki asked.
"Blame…" Sonic paused to snort back a laugh, "…Eggman…Hee-heh! That's hilarious!" he fell over, laughing up a storm once more, "Still hilarious!"
"You think that's funny...here's a name I like to call Eggman from time to time..." Sonikku grinned before saying, "Baldy McNosehair."
"..." Sonic and Manic collapsed on the ground, laughing hystericaly while Sonia, Makoto, Nanaya, Roll, and Cyber went into a giggle fit.
"Th...that's the best one I heard all day!" Sonic gasped out.
"Du...dude! We so have to remember that one!" Manic pounded his fist on the floor.
"Hai-hai!" Roll nodded in agreement.
"Hey uh...Ben?" Tails spoke, getting the Ben of this zone's attention, "Is there a work shop around here? I need to finish up the repairs and upgrades on T-Pup."
"It should be on the sceond floor to the right, Tails," Ben replied.
"Thanks," Tails nodded as he left to find the stairs.
"I will come with you," Rook spoke as he followed the twin-tailed fox before stating to him, "Besdies...we still need to finish up that little project of ours."
"...Oh right. Those things we're building to help you, Be...I mean Kirby, Nanaya, and Tsubaki blend into the city without Naugus noticing," Tails recalled as he and Rook found the stairs.
"Correct," Rook nodded as he and Tails walked upstairs.
"..." Kirby, Nanaya, and Tsubaki, who over heard what the two said, couldn't help but wonder what the things they were talking about were.
"...What's taking that scout team so long?" Robotnik frowned before one of the screens in the room turned on.
=Sir...we've managed to find the city you were looking for= a Swatbot replied, the robot missing half his head and it's right arm.
"Finally. I was wondering when..." Robotnik began before he noticed the condition the Swatbot was in, "...What happened to you? And where's the rest of your team?"
=U...um...a...about that sir..w...we...= the Swatbot began.
=Captain! She's here!= a Swatbot in the background panicked =Sh...she's...GAH!=
=Huh?...oh no...= the Swatbot paled as he quickly turned around to see a dark figure approaching him =st...stay back! st...stay...AAAAAAAAHHH!= the screen then went completely black on the mad doctor.
"..." Robotnik slowly reached for the intercom, "Sleet. Has Dingo's condition improve any?"
=No sir. It hasn't= Sleet replied over the intercom.
"I...I see...then have a small group of Eggpawns head to the coordenates I'm about to send you," Robotnik repleid as he entered a few commands on the console on his chair.
=I got them. Uh...lord Robotnik? Aren't these the same coordenates you gave that Scout Team before they...?= Sleet began.
"Just send them out already!" Robotnik snapped.
=Y...yes sir!= Sleet yelped as Robotnik turned off the intercom.
'J...just who...or what was that thing?' Robotnik thought with a small gulp.
The only things he saw on that screen before it went black were black feathers and what appeared to be crimson hair. He knew it couldn't be Sonic because after seeing how badly damaged and scared the Swatbot was. Plus...there's no way Sonic, or any of his siblings could be that...vicious towards his machines.
"Checkmate," GreyMatter chuckled, moving his Queen into position.
"…Ugh…" Sonia fumed, "I can beat you in almost all the aliens that you'll use for Chess except for Brainstorm and this guy."
"Well, despite my diminutive stature, I am quite intelligent in this form," GreyMatter chuckled, rubbing a fist on his chest in pride.
"And you're short," Manic added, drumming on the table nearby, with Sonikku-who was eating a Chili-Dog-, earning a facepalm from GreyMatter.
"Why I oughta…" GreyMatter growled before smirking.
He gave two quick whistles. The table Manic and Sonikku were at opened up in the middle and a pair of pies shot out of it, knocking the hedgehogs onto their backs and out of their seats. Sonia giggled at the prank GreyMatter just pulled.
"Impressive upgrades," Sonia noted.
"Yep, yep. Nothing hard, to admit," GreyMatter smirked.
"I still don't believe that this place is actually bigger on the inside," Sonic noted as he drove along a road.
"Well, imagine it was a pair of boxes," GreyMatter explained as he clapped his hands twice and a screen emerged from a nearby wall, depicting a large box and a smaller box, "If you move the bigger box away from your sight, what do you get?"
"A bigger box that just looks smaller than the…smaller…box…" Makoto gawked before her eyes began to sparkle in awe.
"That…is…awesome!" Nanaya added, the same look in her eyes.
"It seems a bit silly," Roll noted, "But believable."
"Hai, hai," Cyber nodded with Haseo.
"Thank you," GreyMatter bowed before he jumped off the table as the Ultimatrix timed out and turned to the driving area, "So where are we heading for again?"
"No idea," Kirby replied.
"We're heading to the Frozen Mountains of York," Sonic replied, "The Oracle of Delphius lives in a cave there…though it's more like a really big, old library."
"And you seriously think this Oracle can help us?" Nanaya asked.
"I'd be surprised if he couldn't," Sonic replied before snow began to hit the windshield, "And we're coming up on them."
"Man, that was quick," Kirby noted.
"No it wasn't," Sonic frowned before glancing over at Manic and Sonia, "But, it's kinda nice just doing something like this, ya know?"
"I guess you and Grandpa Max could have a lot in common in being drivers," Kirby noted.
"Yeah, I still don't know who that guy is, really," Sonic noted, "Ben never showed a picture of him or anyone else he mentioned. I mean, the only guy that Ben knows that we do have a picture of is Ragna the BloodEdge."
"What?!" Tsubaki and Nanaya almost screamed as they looked at Ben.
"Oh yeah…" Makoto realized, "Whoopsie. I forgot that you didn't know Ben here traveled with Ragna the BloodEdge when he was eleven."
"Never heard of him," Kirby noted.
"Really? Dude, he's the reason I unlocked Feedback," Ben pointed out.
"You still haven't told us about Feedback, dude," Manic added, pointing a drumstick at Ben.
"Uh…er…well…" Ben gulped.
"Kinda a long story…" Kirby began before the vehicle rumbled as laser shots nearly hit them.
"Evasive action!" Sonic shouted, "Ben, you better have put some weaponry in here!"
"I've got them," Ben replied, "Roll, third door on the left upstairs. Cyber, third door on the right upstairs. They're both made with Yacker in mind."
The two Wisp looked at each other. Roll's Yacker had stayed as his normal White Wisp while Cyber's Yacker had gone with his Yellow Wisp. The two Hedgefoxes nodded.
"Haseo, go get Tails and Rook," Sonikku ordered as he opened the door and sped out, "I'm heading out ahead to see what we're dealing with!"
"Sonia, take the wheel!" Sonic ordered before joining Sonikku outside.
The two blue hedgehogs raced ahead amongst the laser fire. Inside the bus, the two Hedgefoxes entered the hallway and stopped before the third doors. The two opened them up to reveal a circular chamber with a seat and control panel. A sticky note was on the controls.
"'Laser,'" Roll read.
"I guess Yacker-tachi need to turn into that Wisp," Cyber noted.
The two Yacker nodded.
"Laser!" both declared before they zipped into the control panels, causing everything to light up.
At the top of the van, a pair of swivel cannons emerged.
"So, what do you think's gonna be up there?" Sonikku asked as they dodged more lasers.
"Most likely? SWATBots."
"You're still dealing with those? Man, those guys are obsolete," Sonikku rolled his eyes before the two skidded to a halt.
Before them was a small platoon of fifty robots. They weren't SWATBots, but had a near-similar basis design. Each one sported egg-shaped shoulder-guards with a spiked brass knuckles, claws for fingers, bronze ram-shaped kneecaps, and a black and purple color scheme. Their helmets were angular with flat tops, red-tinted visors, and faceguards. The legs widened after the bronze kneecaps to end in feet resembling pointed platform shoes. One of them flexed its left hand and it shifted into a rectangular blaster.
"Those aren't SWATBots," Sonic gulped.
"And they're not Eggman's robots," Sonikku added as the bus stopped behind them to let out Makoto, Manic, Nanaya, Ben, and Kirby; Tsubaki holding a shield resembling a curved book with a blue 'eye' as the border and a red short-sword resembling a pen's tip with the handle having the same 'eye' on her shield.
"Seems Robotnik's been doing some major rebuilding and retooling," Manic noted.
"This doesn't have the Robotnik touch to it, except for maybe the shoulders and the emblem of Robotnik's Empire on their left lapels," Makoto added, noticing an emblem resembling a metal egg on a gray 'flag.'
"You dudes don't think that…" Manic began quietly to Makoto and Ben.
"This has 'Shockwave' written all over it," Ben nodded.
"Time to go Hero," Kirby smirked.
Ben nodded. The two quickly activated their Omnitrix. In a flash of light, the two had changed. Kirby had turned into a brown-feathered form. It appeared to be a humanoid chicken-hawk that was a few inches shorter than Rath but a few inches taller if you included the black and green spikes on its mask and head. Its shoulders sported green rings connected to each other with black cloth over his muscular torso. His hands and feet ended in talons. On his waist was a green belt with the Omnitrix emblem.
"Kickin' Hawk."
Ben had turned into a large form. Its green eyes and black mouth were on its big white body. His back and the back of his four-fingered hands was yellow plating. His four puffy fingers ended with black spikes while his torso sported the Omnitrix emblem.
"Cannonbolt!"
"Nice one," Kickin' Hawk grinned before frowning at his hand talons, "Why do I never get Humongasaur with this thing? I thought that glitch was done with."
"Maybe it's because you're not looking at the alien you've selected?" Cannonbolt asked, "I've messed up a few times when I wanted an alien with this new selecting process."
"..." Kickin' Hawk was about to say something before he ducked under a laser fired by one of the EggPawns, "...We'll talk later after we take these guys down."
"Got it," Cannonbolt nodded as the group charged at the small platoon.
Sonic and Sonikku began the fight by using their speed to confuse some of the Eggpawns, causing some of the robots to fire on the other ones in the process while Manic used his drums to send a wave of earth to scatter some of the EggPawns scattering.
"Nice...this is too..." Manic began before most of the Eggpawns got up, almost like they were unaffected by the attack, "...Okay...never mind what I was going to say."
"You know, these guys kinda remind me of the EggSwats," Kickin' Hawk stated as he ducked under a barrage of laser fire sent at him before he delivered a series of kicks to some EggPawns, the chicken-hawk like alien making a hawk like screech with each kick.
"...EggSwats?" Manic repeated as he brought up a shield of earth to protect from the lasers shot at him while the cannons on the bus fired cyan lasers at the attack EggPawns.
"Think these guys, only not as tough," Kickin' Hawk replied as he delivered a hard kick to another EggPawn's head.
"Ahh..."
"Comet Cannon!" both Makoto and Nanaya declared as they created a sphere of energy before they reeled their arms back and punched it hard, sending it crashing into a few of the EggPawns, "Break Shot!"
Tsubaki used her shield to block the lasers coming at her as she charged at some of the EggPawns and slashed their arms or heads off. She then quickly turned around and smashed her shield into the head of a EggPwan that was trying to attack her from behind, the shield destroying the robot's head as it fell to the snow covered ground.
"This is getting..." the crimson haired girl began before she felt a wave of pain shot through her as she fell to one knee, her vision starting to go blurry, "D...damn it...not now..."
A group of nearby EggPawns were about to fire on her before they were bowled over by Cannonbolt, who rolled over to the crimson haired girl as he uncurled himself.
"Hey...are you okay?" Cannonbolt asked her as he used his arms to block the laser blast fired at him and Tsubaki.
"H...hai..." Tsubaki nodded as she got up, her vision starting to return a bit, "Just...just a small migraine is all."
"...Okay.." Cannonbolt replied, the large alien shooting her a look of disbelief as he curled back up into a ball and charged at the EggPawns firing at him.
"Gomen...Ben-san..." Tsubaki quietly apologized before she resumed fighting the EggPawns, who didn't seem to be diminishing in numbers.
"Ugh! There's too many!" Makoto grunted as Nanaya sent another EggPawn into the air with an uppercut.
"Then it's time to go Ultimate!" Cannonbolt declared with a grin.
"What?!" Kickin' Hawk squawked, giving the robot he was fighting an opening to hit him with a roundhouse.
Cannonbolt slapped his emblem. Four spikes emerged from it and a wave of green energy washed over him. His white fur turned into a light metallic blue sheen while the yellow turned a rich metallic blue. His shell grew cylindrical studs. He had two on each back segment and one on each shoulder, wrist and leg plates. His teeth were similar to Cannonbolt's, but he had two sharp teeth.
"Ultimate Cannonbolt!" the evolved alien declared.
"You can do that?!" Nanaya exclaimed as she ended up back-to-back with Kickin' Hawk.
"Not for a long while," Kickin' Hawk replied.
Ultimate Cannonbolt curled up into a ball and the studs turned into spikes, "Everyone duck!"
Ultimate Cannonbolt began to quickly spin in place. The group barely ducked as the spikes began to fire off and at the robots, impaling various members of the robots. After another minute, he stopped and changed back into Ben.
"Ugh..." Ben grabbed his stomach before covering his mouth with one hand, "I forgot how queasy that makes me..."
"Dude...I feel your pain," Kickin' Hawk said as he looked at the remaining EggPawns, "There's 10, maybe 15 of these guys left. Any ideas?"
"Just one...but I suggest you all stay back," Makoto stated as she and Nanaya stepped forward.
"Hai. I...or rather we don't normally use this unless someone really pisses us off..." Nanaya added as she and Makoto cracked their neck and knuckles a bit.
"..okay," Kicken Hawk agreed as he, along with Tsubaki, Manic, and the two Sonic's stepped back.
"Ready?" Makoto asked her double as the EggPawns prepared to fire.
"Oh yeah," Nanaya nodded as a faint image of her and Makoto's emblem.
"Moe yagare, atashi no saen!(Burn, my Haze!)" both Makoto and Nanaya declared as a large, faint, energy gate appeared behind the two Squirrel Beastkin as they reeled their arms back, "Kore ga, seishun no ichigeki da!(This is...the strike of youth!) Big Bang Smash!" they yelled as they punched forward, a giant energy fist twice their size bursting out of the gate as it rocketed towards the EggPawns.
The Eggpawns almost gave of a gulp-like motion as the energy fist collided with them, destroying all of the robots in one blow as their remains scattered across of snow-covered area.
"...D...did they just..." Sonikku began with a gawk.
"Yeeeeaaaah...they just fired a giant energy fist that pretty much destroyed those EggPawns," Kickin' Hawk gawked as well as he changed back into Kirby.
"...Bro...please remind me not to piss those two off when they're in the same room together," Manic whispered to Sonic, a bit of fear evident in the green hedgehog's voice.
"Got it...especially after we've seen our Makoto send a group of Swatsbots flying into a moon-sized rock in space and destroyed said moon-sized rock," Sonic replied with a gulp of his own, causing Kirby and Sonikku to gawk at the Zone Double.
"Y...you're joking...right?" Sonikku asked his Zone Double.
"Nope. Me and the otehrs saw it with our own eyes," Sonic replied.
"...I am so glad Nanaya's on our side," Sonikku whispered to Kirby as they saw both Makoto's walking towards them, the two Beastkin's high-fiving each other.
"Agreed," Kirby nodded with a small gulp.
"Phew! That took a bit out of us..." Nanaya panted a bit as she and Makoto looked at Sonic, "Can we head back inside and rest a bit before we meet this Oracle guy?"
"And..." Makoto began before she and Nanaya began to shiver, "P-p-p-p-pick out s-s-s-some warm c-c-c-c-cloths before we head out? It's f-f-f-freezing out h-h-h-here."
"Alright then. Besides..." Sonic began as his stomach started to rumble, "I'm starting to get hungry anyway."
"Same here," Sonikku added, "I could go for a few more Chili-Dogs right now."
"Honestly...you and Chili-dogs dude..." Manic sighed as the group headed back to the bus.
"Says the hedgehog with the pancake and waffle problem," Sonic retorted, causing the green hedgehog to glare at him a bit.
"Honestly..." Tsubaki rolled her eyes before she noticed something buried in the snow, something black, "Hmm?" She bent down to see what it was, the crimson haired girl moving some of the snow before she pulled out what look like a black feather. She then eyed it a bit, noticing something strangely familiar about it, "Wait...this looks like..."
"Oi, Tsubaki!" Nanaya yelled from the bus' entrance, catching the crimson haired girl's attention, "You coming in or what?"
"R...right! Gomen, Nanaya!" Tsubaki replied as she got up and ran towards the bus.
As soon as she was inside, the snow surrounding the small hole Tsubaki made started to fill it in before what appeared to be the remains of a SWATBot appeared buried beneath the snow. The oncoming winds started to cover it again.
"..." Robotnik's left eye began to twitch as he looked at the screen, which stated that the EggPawns he had Sleet sent out were terminated, before he reached for the intercom, "Sleet?"
=Yes my lord?=
"Why does the screen say my EggPawns have been destroyed?" Robotnik asked in a neutral tone, yet it showed how angry he was right now.
=W..well...I...I don't know sir. B...but...= Sleet began with a gulp.
"But 'what' Sleet?!" Robotnik barked at him over the intercom.
=But it seems they ran into Sonic's group!= Sleet yelped.
"What?-!" Robotnik growled before quietly mumbling to himself, "That pesky hedgehog again..." he then looked at the intercom, "Is there anything else you'd like to tell me?"
=N...No sir. E..except that I managed to barely get the data from one of the EggPawns before it was destroyed...and...and I thought I saw two of Sonic= Sleet replied with a gulp.
"...I'm sorry.. did you just say..'two of Sonic?'" Robotnik asked, anger starting to rise inside the mad doctor right now.
=Yes my lord, but it's probably a glitch. Perhapes Shockwave made a mis...= Sleet began.
"You finish that, and I'll have you and Dingo stuck on Garbage duty for the next 6 months!" Robotnik snapped.
=S...sorry my lord! I...I'll try and send out another group of EggPawns if I can!= Sleet yelped.
"...You better for yours and Dingo's sakes," Robotnik stated as he turned to intercom off before he began to think, 'Darn it...as if one Sonic was bad enough...now I have to deal with two of him?-! Ugh...today has been to stressful for me...I feel like I'm almost about to have a heart attack any minute now if I don't calm down...' he turned to another screen, "Shockwave, they've been located in the area. Whatever you want involving that robot form that five-fingered Overlander has, I suggest you do it ASAP."
=At once, my liege= Shockwave bowed on a screen.
"So this is the Ultimatrix, but upgraded into the new Omnitrix?" Kirby asked.
"Yeah," Ben replied with a shrug, "You mean your's isn't?"
"Nope. I gave Azmuth the Ultimatrix and got this in return," Kirby replied, "Well, that and the Sword of Ascalon."
"Never heard of that weapon," Ben noted.
"Well, you ever meet this Sir George or a Lucubra?" Kirby asked.
"Nope," Ben shook his head, "Still, I haven't really used the Evolution Feature much."
"So have you tried using an Ultimate on Wildmutt?"
"There's an Ultimate Wildmutt?" Ben raised a brow.
"Yep. This isn't just limited to Cannonbolt, Swampfire, Spidermonkey, Humongasaur, Big Chill, and Echo Echo," Kirby informed as he tapped Ben's Omnitrix, "It's good for all your aliens. But it doesn't seem to work on Rath, for some reason."
"Really? Well, I should've expected that. Rath's already part of an alien race all about fighting," Ben noted.
"So...you seriously built a hot springs in the basement?" Kirby asked.
"Yep. Thought it would be a good idea considering the bathing issues with this planet," Ben noted.
"...Bathing issues?"
"It's not really considered wrong to bathe with someone of the same gender here," Ben blushed.
"..." Kirby blushed as well before Tsubaki approached.
"B...Kirby, perhaps we could do a few more lessons," Tsubaki offered.
"Um, well..." Kirby began.
"Lessons?" Ben asked.
"Yes. I'm teaching Kirby-san how to speak Japanese," Tsubaki informed.
"Oh," Ben blinked before bowing to Tsubaki, "Boku, sonogo, anata ni Tsubaki-san ni sore o nokoshite okimasu(I'll leave it to you then, Ms. Tsubaki)."
"You know Japanese?" Tsubaki asked.
"Yeah. My mom had adopted parents, both Japanese-American. They taught me it when I stayed with them for a few summers before I got the Omnitrix," Ben explained before the bus rumbled, "Not again..."
"Giant bug! Big, metal bug!" Manic screamed as he ran out of the driving area with Sonic following him.
"And just when we were near the entryway for the Oracle's place..." Sonic muttered.
Ben and Kirby were the first out and skidded to a halt. Standing before the bus, easily the size of a small building, was a robotic insect. Its body was primarily ice-blue and snow-white with large blade-like mandibles.
"Great, as if those robots weren't enough..." Ben muttered.
"Is Dr. Animo here or something?" Kirby asked with a raised brow.
"I'm not sure," Ben replied.
It was then a camera in the bug eyes of the robotic insect glowed. They shined a spotlight before the two Tennyson and projected an image. Ben growled as Kirby raised a brow. The robot had the standard frame of a SWATBot, but more streamlined. The lower left arm and hand were a laser cannon while its head unit was rectangular with a single red optic for a face.
=Greetings again, Subject Tennyson and...Subject Tennyson= Shockwave noted =Hmm...It appears that the Freedom Fighters have achieved a level of cloning=
"Wrong," Kirby rolled his eyes.
"Shockwave!" Ben scowled, "Okay, dude, what now?"
=I wish to introduce you to my latest design; the Insecticon. Utilizing the DNA of the Roboticized Insect Mobians, I have managed to create this; the Winter-Beetle= Shockwave informed =You will be testing it's power=
Ben scowled. Kirby raised a brow and looked at Ben.
"Mind telling me who this is and why he's specifically targeting you?" Kirby asked.
"His name's Shockwave and it's because I was able to make one of the biggest escapes for captured Mobians in Robotropolis," Ben replied as the others, in winter jackets, ran out.
"...Is Dr. Animo present?" Rook asked as he looked around.
"Not this time," Manic frowned as he glared at the hologram, "Just Shockwave."
"Giant bug!" Sonia and Amy screamed before they ran back into the bus.
"...Okay, so Amy and Sonia are going to try and get to the Oracle while we fend it off?" Sonic asked.
"No. Just me," Ben replied.
Ben quickly began to select his alien. The Winter-Beetle charged at the bus. Sonia barely moved the bus out of the way and let the machine strike a boulder behind the bus, shattering it. Ben barely moved out of the way of a bit of the rubble, unaware his choice has changed. He quickly slapped it down and a flash of light occurred. Kirby blinked in surprise as he saw the new alien Ben had turned into. It was…big, but not Way Big-big. But it could give Humongasaur a competition for size. It stood at four stories and seemed to more machine than organic. Parts of its body had glowing red panels and spikes. The shoulders were big and round with three gold spikes near the black fists. Its helmet was obsidian in color with a gray faceguard and red glowing visor.
"Oh, frick," Manic paled as Makoto gulped nervously.
"Holy…!" Sonikku gawked.
"Grim…lllooooooooooooock!-!-!" the robotic alien roared before looking at his hands, "You, Omnitrix, stupid! Me, Grimlock, no like this form for reason!"
=However, I see potential from this form= Shockwave noted =It is a shame that your duplicate does not have access to this form from what can be observed, but you will suffice=
"Shockwave…!" Grimlock growled as he formed his sword and shield.
The Winter-Beetle's mandibles glowed before firing a beam of ice that quickly surrounded both it and Grimlock in a circle of ice.
GRIMLOCK VS SHOCKWAVE (WINTER-BEETLE)
Stage: Frozen Mountains - Like fragile ice, anger passes away in time
"Me, Grimlock, crush you!" Grimlock snarled as he swung his blade twice in practice swings.
=Begin the examination= Shockwave informed as his hologram vanished, the Winter-Beetle snapping its pincers in preparation for fighting.
THE WHEEL OF FATE IS TURNING - REBEL 6 - ACTION!
The Winter-Beetle jumped at Grimlock, who quickly blocked the pincers with his shield. Grimlock swung his blade and the Winter-Beetle barely jumped away, neither aware of Grimlock's feet starting to gain a faint fiery aura. The Winter-Beetle fired an ice beam and Grimlock blocked it with his shield. He lowered it and ended up being grabbed by its mandibles. Grimlock was then shaken for a bit before being tossed by the Winter-Beetle. Grimlock roared as he stopped skidding by impaling his sword into the ground.
"Crush you!" Grimlock snarled, the aura reaching up to his waist, as he jumped over the charge attack and began to strike its behind with his sword, "No one's tougher than me!"
"That is one tough sword," Kirby noted as he saw Grimlock's blade tearing through the hide of the robotic insect.
"But what's with the aura?" Nanaya asked.
"It keeps growing the longer he fights," Tsubaki noted, "Is it...a projection of his rage?"
"Oh yeah," Manic gulped, "And you do not want to be on the targeting end of him when that aura covers him completely."
"Shockwave, you're finished!" Grimlock roared as he grabbed his sword with both hands to impale the Insecticon.
He swung his blade down, only for handcuffs big enough for him shot out of its abdomen and latched onto his wrists. Two circular panels ejected from the Winter-Beetle and landed at the sides of Grimlock. Orange electricity connected them together and forced Grimlock onto his knees.
=You didn't think that I'd build something to combat something so powerful as you and not have a way to get you under control= Shockwave noted from a speaker system in the Winter-Beetle =Now, sit there like a good pet while I finish my work=
"Kill you…" Grimlock growled under his breath as the energy aura finally reached the top of his head, the image from when he unleashed Astral Heat as Heatblast appearing behind him for a faint second, before he bellowed out, "No one controls Grimlock!"
Grimlock dismissed his shield and stabbed the ground with his blade. He released the hilt before slamming his fists into the ground. Panels opened, shifted, and even altered as Grimlock began to transform. What was once a four-storied building-sized robot now stood an eight-storied building-sized Tyrannosaurus Red mecha, the size different causing his 'chains' to shatter. Its head tilted back and giving a feral roar.
"He went dino!-!" Makoto and Manic screamed before running behind Kirby, Tsubaki, and Sonia, "Protect us!"
"…What?" Kirby raised a brow.
=Impossible= Shockwave gasped.
Grimlock roared as he charged at the now-smaller Winter-Beetle. It attempted to ram Grimlock, only to be struck away by his tail. Grimlock belted out another roared as he charged once more. The Winter-Beetle fired another beam of ice…only to have it overpowered by Grimlock releasing an intense blast of flames from his mouth.
"Dude, that form is awesome!" Kirby exclaimed as he saw how easy it was overpowering the Winter-Beetle.
"That's because he's not conscious," Manic replied.
"What are you talking about?" Tails asked.
"When Grimlock goes T-Rex, he becomes a pure berserker," Makoto shivered, "He held no mercy on Dingo when he shape-shifted last time he fought Grimlock."
"Dude blew flames in his face then ripped his head off his shoulders!" Manic gulped, "I actually felt relieved that Dingo just shape-shifted back to normal."
"So this form can make him become nothing more than a feral beast," Tsubaki summarized as they watched Grimlock reeling himself back, the image appearing once more behind him, 'It's like a Nox Nyctores...Incredible power but with a dangerous negative aspect.'
Grimlock made a leaping charge at the Winter-Beetle, finally ensnaring it in his jaws. He began to shake it multiple times, tearing parts of its body off with each shake. He tossed it into the air before catching it in his jaws and crushed the machine in two.
DISTORTION FINISH!
Grimlock slowly chewed what was in his mouth before swallowing it.
"Me, Grimlock, king!" the T-Rex Robot roared.
GRIMLOCK – WIN!
It was then the flaming aura faded away and Grimlock changed back into Robot Mode, on his knees and panting heavily. Grimlock quickly slammed the Omnitrix emblem and changed in a flash of green light. Replacing Grimlock was an eight-foot humanoid alien made of plants. Its body was green with trunk-like legs. Its head was in the colors and shape of fire with a black face composed of a mouth and green eyes. The Omnitrix emblem was on his torso.
"Swampfire!" the alien declared before looking at the remains, "…I got angry, didn't I?"
"Hai," Roll nodded, Haseo trembling behind her and Cyber.
=Very impressive, Ben Tennyson= the hologram-Shockwave informed, appearing once more from the wrecked optics of the Winter-Beetle remains, with his image coming in and out of a static state =Thanks to that battle and your transformations, I have acquired enough data to complete a project for Lord Robotnik. Until I require you as a test subject again=
"I really hate that guy," Swampfire growled as the Winter-Beetle's remains self-destructed.
"You're not gonna pass out of us again, are you?" Sonia asked.
"Not as long as I stay as Swampfire to heal the self-inflicted pain," Swampfire replied.
"Self-inflicted?" Tails repeated.
"Grimlock may be his strongest alien aside from Way Big, but the power also hurts Ben since his T-Rex form isn't the natural alternate form," Roll explained, "That form was forced on him, with his internal energy systems routed to all combat-related forms. He shouldn't even be able to talk, let alone think for himself."
"Ouch," Sonikku winched before Sonia honked the bus's horn.
"Are we going or what?" Amy asked from the door, "The sooner we're away from where that giant bug is, the better!"
"Please tell me we're here," Nanaya pleaded as the bus finally stopped.
"We're here," Sonic replied as everyone began to step out of the bus and stood before a cave entrance, "Just follow us."
With that, the Hedgehog Triplets went first. The others shared looks with each other before following after them. The moment they stepped into the cave, everything went dark, not even the cave entrance was visible. The area was illuminated by multitudes of floating candles, revealing the cave was gone, replaced with a massive library-like structure. Books were floating all around, organizing, reorganizing, and even going to a table where a blue-cloaked figure was reading. The figure waved a hand and everyone realized they were now sitting at a circular table. The figure's face was revealed. It was green and seemed to be a blend of anteater and alligator. His semi-glazed blue eyes were filled with countless centuries of wisdom.
"I've been expecting you all," the figure noted, "As the Royalty Three have informed you, I am the Oracle of Delphius."
"Uh, yes sir," Tails nodded, "We were..."
"...hoping to know if I could give you a path to your original Zone?" the Oracle finished, "Indeed. However, you came here, to our Zone, for a reason." he tapped the table and a crystal ball appeared in the center, "Tsubaki, take the feather out."
"?!" Tsubaki slowly took the feather out.
"This feather belongs to someone trapped within darkness," the Oracle informed before the feather turned into flames and entered the crystal ball, revealing the blade and shield of Tsubaki's behind Sonic's Medallion and then a forest in perpetual autumn.
"The Autumn Leaf Forest is home to the former members of Sanctuary," the Oracle explained.
"What? Sanctuary...was found?" Sonic asked.
"It was revealed by a known traitor," the Oracle informed, "The Queen led them to this new Sanctuary, using what I've taught her to let their home come with them. However, the one who is trapped within darkness is approaching them, their judgement clouded and believing all not under the command of the one they are under have chosen only death and they are the reaper."
"We gotta help them!" Sonic exclaimed, 'Nun-Kaka...'
"Patience, Prince Sonic," the Oracle informed, "You and Ms. Yayoi are the most important factors in their salvation from the darkness." everyone blinked and they were suddenly back in the bus, "When you rescue the one trapped in darkness, return and I will provide assistance once more."
"Okay. How did he do that?" Makoto gawked.
"Seriously, that was really cool and creepy," Nanaya added.
"Sometimes I wonder that myself," Sonic replied, "But still we better hurry and..."
"I do not think that is a wise idea..." Rook spoke as he looked out the window to see a heavy blizzard blowing outside, "With the weather as it is right now, I do not think we will be able to go anywhere for the night."
"...I guess you're right," Sonic sighed a bit, seeing a nearby clock reading '11:00 PM,' "We'll rest up for tonight. But tomorrow, we are heading for Sanctuary."
"Right...but before that...I'd like to try that hot spring Ben was talking about earlier," Sonia stated as she headed for the stairs leading to the basment.
"I think we'll join you as well," Amy replied as she and the other girls followed the magenta hedgehog downstairs.
"Okay then...I guess we'll head for our rooms then," Sonic replied with a shrug.
"Eeyup," Sonikku nodded in agreement.
"Tails and I will join you all shortly. We still have a a few things we would like to finish up before coming to bed," Rook stated with Tails nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, uh..me too. I...got to check something real quick," Manic stated.
"...Alright then. See ya guys in a bit," Sonic replied as he and the other males of the two groups headed towards the stairs and walked up said stairs, leaving Manic all alone.
"Now..." Manic began with a small, perverted grin as he snuck downstairs, "Time for me to have a little viewing pleasure."
"Ahh...this...feels...good~" Amy sighed in pure bliss as she laid inside the hot springs, a towel covering her and everyone else's figures.
The hot springs were the size of a small lake in terms of radius. Inside of it were various rock formations to act as resting spots while a system beneath the hot springs' surface kept it at the perfect temperature.
"You can say that again..." Sonia agreed with the pink hedgehog.
"I still can't beleive Ben-san built this," Roll noted as she and Cyber laid not to far away from the two female hedgehogs, Yacker and Yacker sharing a floating ring on the hot spring waters.
"Hai...still...it's pretty impressive," Cyber stated as she lowered herself into the soothing waters.
She glanced over at Roll as she slid into it, blushing a bit. She was bigger on top in this Zone by a god two cup sizes, apparently. She still had a bit of trouble getting used to the fact that she was a part of a clan that was wiped out by Jin Kisaragi. She noticed how Tsubaki looked when Sonic and Ben told them about what had happened up north. Cyber shook the thoughts away before she looked over at Tsubaki, who seemed to be thinking about something as she laid against a nearby rock.
"Tsubaki-san?"
"Hmm?" the crimson-haired girl turned to face the hedgefox.
"Daijoubu desu ka?" Cyber asked her, "You've been quiet ever since we've got in."
"I..I'm okay Cybe. It's just...I was thinking of something is all," Tsubaki replied before her left eye twitched a bit as two underwater figures started to approach her from behind, "Don't even think about it, Nanaya. Same goes for you, Makoto."
"Mou..." one of the figures groaned as they poked out of the water, revealing that they were both Makoto and Nanaya, "How'd you know it was us?"
"You tried this tactic before with Mai back when we were at the Millitary Academy," Tsubaki stated before pointing at the bare bodies of Makoto and Nanaya, "That, and you're the only ones not wearing a towel right now."
"...I knew we shouldn't have took them off," Makoto sighed a bit before an idea popped into her head, "Hey, uh...I...forgot something at the other side. Nanaya? Would you mind getting it for me?"
"...Oh yeah..." Nananay nodded, seeing where her double was going with this, before she swam off, "I'll be right back."
"..." Tsubaki kept her eye on Nanaya until she saw the Squirrel Beastkin swim behind one of the rocks.
"Hey, uh...mind if I ask you something, Tsubaki?" Makoto asked the crimson-haired girl.
"Hmm?" Tsubaki blinked a bit as she looked over at the Zone Double of her friend, "Sure Makoto. What is it?"
"The Zone you and the others are from...what's it like?" Makoto asked.
"...A bit corrupt, really," Tsubaki sighed as she laid against the rock, "The former King of the city Sonikku, Tails, and Amy live in was exiled by a mad wizard by the name of Ixis Naugus."
"Naugus?" Makoto repeated.
"I haven't meet him personally...but I do know this; the things he has done are both sick and underhanded," Tsubaki repleid with a frown, "He had the people of the city turn against a friend of Sonikku's just so he could get the throne and crown."
"...I see," Makoto noted with a frown, the Squirrel Beastkin already not liknig this Naugus guy one bit, "And what about the Robotnik of your Zone?"
"...I'm sure he's like your Zone's Robotnik, only he's more underhanded," Tsubaki repleid with a frown.
"How so?"
"Aside from his EggSwats, he has a group of Mobians called the Dark Egg Legion working for him, and robotic copies of Sonic and the others," Tsubaki explained, unaware of the figure that was swimming behind the rock she was leaning against, "He, along with Naugus, may not be like Captain Hazama, but they're almost as sick and twisted as him."
"I see...Well, I hope you kick both their butts then," Makoto stated to her.
"Thanks...But we can't do anything about Naugus," Tsubaki sighed a bit.
"Ehh? Why?"
"Because if Kirby, Nanaya, Rook, and/or I step into the city, we'll be executed on the spot," Tsubaki explained before frowning, "From what Tails told me, Naugus has a deep hatred towards humans." she tapped her chin in thought, "Though I do believe Rook would be able to go into the city easier than the rest of us."
"...Just when I can't think of another reason to hate that Naugus guy..." Makoto began witha frown.
"Calm down Makoto. I know you're mad right now after what I told you, but please calm down," Tsubaki said to the Zone Double of her friend.
"H...hai," Makoto nodded as she started to calm down.
"So...if I may ask a question now...what's it like living with your Zone's Sonic and Ben?" Tsubaki asked, unaware that the underwater figure was slowly swiming towards her.
"...Well..." Makoto began as a smirk began to grow on her face.
"Gotcha!"
"Eh? Kyaa!" Tsubaki screamed as Nanaya grabbed her from behind.
"Never underestimate the power of two squirrels!" Makoto grinned as she gave a 'V' for victory.
"N-Nanaya, don't you d-eek!" Tsubaki squeaked when Nanaya managed to get Tsubaki's towel off before Makoto started groping her.
"Wow! You're a lot bigger than the last time I saw the you I know," Makoto noted.
"S-Sto~p!" Tsubaki squeaked, failing to hold a moan back, while developing a heavy blush.
"Not this again...!" Amy and Sonia groaned.
"Oh my..." Cyber blushed.
Roll sighed with a small frown, "This was something my cousins and I used to do back home in one of the bathhouses..."
"Off her, you two!" Sonia barked before flinching when the two gave her a look and pulled her into the groping as well, "No~! St-Stop! Ahn~!"
White Yacker quickly covered Yellow Yacker's eye while Yellow Yacker did the same to White Yacker and the same with Roll and Cyber to each other.
"Oh man..." Manic whispered as he hid behind the doorway leading to the hot springs, a tiny trail of blood dripping from the hedgehog's nose, "This is awsome. If only I can get a little closer...and who knows? Perhaps I'll see them..."
"Make out?" a voice finished with a growl.
"Yeah. Exa..." Manic began before blinking, "Uh...who...?"
"Behind you..." the voice said in a cold, dangerous tone.
"Ulp...oh boy..." Manic plaed as he slowly turned to see a glaring Amy, the pink hedgehog using one of her arms to keep her towel up while she held a large, red and yellow hammer in her free hand.
"Uh...hey Amy..." Manic chuckled nervously, sweat starting to drop from the gren hedgehog's head as he started to back away from the livid female hedgehog, "Wh...what's...?
"5..." Amy said.
"Huh? 5? What..."
"4..."
"...Oh crud. L...look Amy. I..." Manic began in a panicking tone, sweat forming on his face.
"3..." Amy growled.
"N-N-N-Now come on! C..can't we...?" Manic gulped.
"2..."
"Look. I apologize for peeking on you girls. I..."
"1...!"
"Oh sugar honey ice tea!" Manic yelped as he ran past Amy as fast as he can.
"GET BACK HERE, PERVERT!" Amy roared as she chased after Manic.
Tutor Me, Azmuth! Done in Blazblue-Chibi Style
Starring: Azmuth, Taokaka, Carl Clover, Aya Clover (Nirvana), Bang Shishigami, and Ms. Litchi.
The curtain rises up, revealing not Kokonoe's special lab, but a futuristic black and green laboratory that is kept nice and tidy and organized. Standing on a table was a small alien. It has grey skin and seems a bit...frog-like in appearance. His large eyes are green with horizontal rectangle irises while he has six 'whiskers' on his face that go down like a beard and mustache. He wears a green robe with silver bands on the shoulders, waist, and neck.
"Greetings, I am Azmuth, the creator of the Omitrix along with its predecessor, the Unitrix, and this is 'Tutor me! Azmuth,'" the alien introduces himself, "If you humans don't understand, I am a Galvan from the planet Galvan Prime MKII and the planet Primus, where the Omnitrix's alien DNA is stored within the Codon Stream along with saving a copy of it inside of the Omnitrix as well as a safety precaution. Right now, we are in a room I had built specifically to let me speak with you all and not worry about canon things and it's where I go to hide from Myaxx when she has her species' version of a human female's menstrual cycle that involves the tentacles on her face expelling a highly corrosive acid."
"Um...Mr. Azmuth, I think you forgot about us again," Carl noted.
"I was getting to you five," Azmuth frowned, "Now then, these are my two students; Carl Clover and Taokaka. With me are my two assistants: Bang Shishigami on the blackboard and Ms. Litchi, who runs the video files on the subjects we're covering. And there is also Carl's...er...sister, Aya. Though to others, she has been given the nickname 'Nirvana.'"
"Now, Master Carl, my dear Disciple, are you both ready for today's lesson?" Bang asked.
"Tao is ready, meow!" Tao cheered, her ears going up and down with her tail as she punched ahead rapidly.
"Then stop that! Ahem," Azmuth cleared his throat as pressed a button on his table and the board behind him showed Cannonbolt, "Today, we'll be talking about the Arburian Pelarota, which happens to be Cannonbolt's species."
"Ar...boo..ria?" Tao blinked, a question mark appearing over her head.
"No no, Tao. Arburia," Azmuth corrected, "Now then...Arburia was once a peaceful planet with many resources and an ideal climate for all the species of that world to live in harmony. Cities on Arburia were connected by thousands of tunnel systems, like a hamster cage. Another fact about Arburia is that it was an ideal vacation spot for many different species."
"I see...but what did you mean when you said Arburia was a once peaceful planet?" Carl asked.
"...it was destroyed by a creature known as 'The Great One,'" Azmuth sighed before the image on the board changed to a giant, tick-like creature, "The Great One traveled from world to world and sucks up the energy of the planet it lands on to feed itself. This process poisons the planet The Great One is on until the planet itself implodes."
"O...oh my..." Litchi gasped.
"This Great One sounds likea very serious threat. Has anyone tried to stop it?" Bang asked.
"Unfortunately no. The Great One's shell is nearly impenetrable to all kinds of attacks. The only aliens that could penetrate the Great One's shell were the Arburian Pelarota. Unfortunately, they couldn't get past the Great One's Worshipers, three aliens that looked up to the Great One as a god," Azmuth explained.
"A god? This Great One sounds more like a demon than a god," Bang frowned.
"Fortunately for us, the Great One is no longer alive," Azmuth informed as Litchi showed a clip of Cannonbolt killing it, "A perfect sense of irony; It's demise was caused by its last meal."
"Me-wow! How'd he do that?" Tao awed with her tail going nuts.
"Well, that's because of the abilities of an Arburian Pelarota," Azmuth chuckled as Bang drew up diagrams, "Arburian Pelarotas are white, bulky aliens with stubby legs and big arms that end in paw-like hands. They have yellow shell-like plating on their back, wrists, legs and shoulders that are capable of deflecting energy-based attacks." Litchi showed a clip of Cannonbolt sending the energy of one of the Great One's Worshipers back at them before Bang drew a baby version of Cannonbolt, "When they are infants, Arburian Pelarotas have no shells. They develop as they start to grow into children, becoming harder and harder as they play around, rolling and crashing into one another. Their faces are on their bodies since having a head would be detrimental to their powers."
"May I ask why Arburian Pelarotas have such large mouths and squinty eyes?" Carl asked.
"Of course. Due to all the rolling, they have a high metabolism and normally consume as much as possible. Their 'squinty eyes' as you call them are developed from years of rolling, letting them see what's in their path as they roll. It also helps that they've developed a natural sense of perfect balance," Azmuth explained, "Now let's move on to more about their shells." Litchi began to run a simulation of Cannonbolt racing across various things, "The shell of this alien is highly resistant. It can go over spikes, lava, various acids, and laser fields. In fact, if you were to drop one from orbit onto the surface of the earth, they would only feel a slight tingle of pain and come out with just that and no other injuries." the simulation showed Cannonbolt compressing tightly before untightening, releasing a shockwave, and then turning into a ball and rolling around fast enough to make a twister, "They've developed other defenses, such as generating twisters by spinning fast enough and even compressing their bodies to unleash shockwaves upon releasing their compression." the simulation then showed Cannonbolt slipping on ice, trying to turn at a fast speed, and getting stuck in something, "Unfortunately, they're terrible on ice, can't turn when they roll too fast, and get stuck to sticky surfaces all too easy."
"And that silver and blue form?" Taokaka asked as she saw Cannonbolt turn into Ultimate Cannonbolt.
"That's...Ultimate Cannonbolt, correct?" Litchi asked.
"Indeed. This is an evolved Arburian Pelarota. Their shells have cylindrical studs that turn into spikes when they curl up, their claws are sharper, and they have developed fangs," Azmuth explained, "Furthermore, an evolved Arburian Pelarota has lost the disadvantages of their pre-evolved selves, their shells are one thousand times harder as children than adult pre-evolved ones, and they're able to fire the spikes on their shells." he changed the screen to show a planet before it changed to show a red-eyed Ultimate Cannonbolt racing through it, "There is only one living Evolved Arburian Pelarota. He is known as 'Impact' and originally came from the Ultimatrix due to a malfunction in it. I've since managed to fix that glitch, but I have been learning much about how advanced he is. His shell is so strong that it can deflect the Cosmic Rays of a To'kustar, something no Arburian Pelarota has claimed to do. The metabolism has also become smaller by 50 percent."
"Oh, my...!" Litchi gasped.
"Meow! He's like a giant ball!" Tao exclaimed before she started purring, "Oh, I love bouncy balls...and yarn balls...and meatballs!"
"You can eat later. Now then, all Arburian Pelarotas, even the evolved ones, can carrying anyone inside of their ball forms. Think of it like a taxi that leaves completely dizzy at the end. Now show me your Notes!" Azmuth ordered.
The two handed their notebooks in. Azmuth looked at Carl's first. He had used two pages to make comparisons on both versions of Cannonbolt's species with a question; 'Are they still alive?' Tao's notebook contained drawings of her and Kaka-Kitties playing around on Arburian Pelarotas in their ball forms, sleeping while being rolled around by them, and one of Tao playing soccer with the evolved alien.
"Well, Carl, there are quite a few left," Azmuth informed, "Some were on different planets at the time their home world was destroyed."
"That's a relief," Bang noted with a smile.
