Seanzilla115: Greetings once again minna. I dont' own no one in this story, nor the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Ben 10 series, or the Blazblue series. I do though own Haseo Yukimaru Sakurai. Also, say congrats to me and GT for finally doing this! We, or rather I've been waiting to do this crossover for so long! And we're finally doing it!*calms down*sorry about that. Anyway...let's begin, shall we?
Rebel 20: Through the Looking Glass
"I'm glad to see you have the melody," the Oracle noted.
"Yeah. It was a bit of a pain to get," Kirby noted.
"Some more inside than outside," Manic added as he glanced at the blushing Ben.
"Yes, I saw that," the Oracle replied, "It is interesting that you used a Kamui, Ben Tennyson."
"Is that the name of the alien species Ben transformed into?"
"Yes, Rook Blanco," the Oracle replied as he tapped the pond between them, showing a black and red version of Omniketsu, "The Kamui are special. They have a symbiotic relationship with various species, mainly the female humans. Their bodies are made of something known as Life Fibers. A single strand can increase someone's natural abilities by five. But for a Kamui, their entire bodies are made of Life Fibers, granting immeasurable strength."
"Is…Is that how Makoto seemed to be getting stronger the longer she wore Omniketsu?" Nanaya asked.
"Yes," the Oracle replied, "However, the drawback to this form is blood."
"Blood?" Sonia repeated.
"The Kamui demand an offering of blood of their wearer," the Oracle explained, "The more the user denies the fighting form the Kamui take, the more blood is drained at a time. You were used to wearing almost little in battle, Makoto Nanaya, so the Kamui only took mere drops at a time."
"I see," Makoto nodded as Tsubaki and Yayoi sweatdropped.
"I…I can't believe that her clothing choice back then would be so beneficial now," Tsubaki whispered as Yayoi nodded.
"Now then, to finish your cure," the Oracle spoke as the scroll began to glow as a second one was made.
The copy floated over the Oracle and spun around, transforming into a translucent white/silver seven-sided ring. The statue's eyes began to glow as the three pieces of Izayoi began to float around it, circling slowly. Everyone took a step back as a multicolored spirit seemed to emerge from the Oracle. The ring floated high into the air as the spirit flew around it.
"Ode of Restoration, return what was stolen from these two young women!" the Oracle declared as the spirit went into the ring.
Six notes played in the air before a symphony of the six notes erupted all around them. The ring vanished before a pillar of multicolored light struck the three pieces of Izayoi. The items doubled in number before firing the light from their 'eyes' and into the statue. The bird's eyes glowed before the light came from them and hit the two red-haired girls, making them grunt. The melody ended as the two girls glowed for a few seconds. The six items landed, modified and altered. The wings on the hats were gone, replaced with either silver 'waves' or gold 'flames.' The 'pen-blades' had reshaped into either a longsword with gold 'flames' on the top or a kata with silver 'waves' going up the non-cutting edge. The 'books' turned into shields resembling either a sun or a full moon, the 'eye' still in the center of both yet colored silver for the sun and gold for the moon.
"These are the evolved form of your weapons," the Oracle explained as the sun-themed items floated over to Tsubaki while the moon-themed items floated over to Yayoi, "They are no longer the Izayoi, but new weapons that you will name."
"Amazing~!" Yayoi awed.
"Did you do this with Mom's Izayoi, too?" Manic asked.
"Yes. She named her new weapon Sode no Junketsu (Sleeve of Purity)," the Oracle replied.
"What was that?" Sonikku gawked.
"Dude, that was wicked. You turn that sheet into a ring and the ghost that came out of ya and into it…" Manic awed.
"What my brother means to say is that what did you just do?" Sonia interrupted.
"That was a spirit, but one known as a Mugician. The paper you have is special for it can turn into something-with the proper spell-known as Mugic," the Oracle explained, "They're not natural on Mobius, but come from a different world in my travels as a youth under my late master. The world was both mysterious and amazing." He pointed at Ben's Omnitrix, "You have the capability of turning into one of each Tribe that lives there, young Benjamin, as does your counterpart. But you're both far from unlocking them."
"Aw man~" Kirby frowned.
"As Grandpa Max once said, 'good things come to those who wait,'" Ben quoted, mostly to himself, as he looked at the Omnitrix.
"…It is unnatural for me that they are so different," Rook whispered.
"Same here," Sonia replied, "Ben does have his childish moments, but Kirby seems to have them more often than Ben."
'From what Rook told me, this Malware guy did all his work in less than a week,' Nanaya thought before glancing at Ben, 'But Ben had almost a year before the Forever Knights were killed off by him.'
"By the way, do you think you could help us get back to our Zone?" Amy asked.
"I was waiting to see if you'd ask that," the Oracle chuckled, "A town is currently experiencing a small problem. A store that constantly moves all over, rumored to be a store that is never charted on maps. In that store, you'll find your way. But be warned; what you see there will be akin to a broken mirror."
The area and the Oracle rippled before everyone was outside a small town, the bus behind them. Rook's eye twitched a bit along with Makoto and Nanaya's eyes.
"How does he do that?" all three asked in unison.
"It's his thing," Manic shrugged.
"Oh, I know this town," Sonic winced, "The Mobians here hate Overlanders, meaning you guys and girls may want to be in disguise for now."
"No problem," Ben and Kirby replied as they activated their Omnitrixes.
Ben turned into, "Big…Chill."
Kirby, on the other hand, turned into a weird alien. It was around the size of Tails in a green jumpsuit with black patches under his arms, green sleeves, and black ankles. . He had white skin, a black and white head, white face, and two whiskers on each cheek. His hands were large with 4 digits and stubby feet. He had three green fins on his head with the two on the sides attaching to his eyes. His three cat-like toes were exposed.
"Ditto!" the alien declared.
"Aw~!" the girls all cooed.
"Voted cutest alien ten times in a row," Ditto smirked at Big Chill.
"…Huh. That looks different from the Ditto I use," Big Chill noted.
"Same to you," Ditto added, "How come you don't hunch over with your wings and feelers all folded up?"
"I am rather unsure," Big Chill replied before sniffing the air, "But what I do know is that I smell Mr. Smoothy's."
"…There's a Mr. Smoothy's here?" Ditto asked, hope filling his eyes.
"Of course," Big Chill replied, "There's one in every town."
Ditto let out a cheer, "Oh sweet merciful Celestialsapiens, yes! To the ultimate smoothie joint!"
His body glowed before fifty more Ditto were there. They only stayed for a second before racing off in different direction, all on a mission.
"He just copied himself…!" Tsubaki gawked.
"Of course he did," Big Chill chuckled, "Splixsons are known for self-duplication. But the only problem with him is…" he flicked the Prime Ditto's main fin and all the Ditto yelped in pain, "…that."
"Not cool, dude!" Prime Ditto grumbled as he rubbed the flicked spot, "OW!"
"What happened now?" Yayoi asked as Sonia and Amy ran out of the bus with some cloaks for the two humans and two Squirrel Beastkin
"It feels like I ran face-first into a wall!" Prime Ditto complained as a Ditto stumbled over with a red face, "42, what did you do?"
"There was a Mr. Smoothy's! Right there!" 42 replied as he pointed at a building before it suddenly gained white walls with lime-green trimming and a Mr. Smoothie mascot on the top, "See?!"
"Yes!" Prime Ditto cheered as he quickly ran in with his 49 clones, "Bring on the smoothies!"
"Wait up!" Makoto called.
"Don't they even realize this could be a trap?" Tsubaki sighed as Nanaya and Big Chill ran after them.
The others quickly followed into the building. Once the door closed, the building seemed to be replaced with a wall once more. Inside, an anthromorphic cow and chicken were at the counter. The cow sighed.
"Oh poo. Will no one come out to serve us?" the cow complained as they turned from the counter.
"Sister, you just said a mouthful of something. I am outta here," the chicken agreed before the two left through the front door in a multicolored flash of light.
"Wh-What was that?" Sonia blinked.
"It looked like a Cross Dimensional Sunburst Aura," Rook noted.
"Looked more like a pinwheel-shaped one to me, dude," Manic noted.
"A Cross Dimensional Pinwheel Aura?! That's even worse!" Tails exclaimed.
It was then they heard the sound of someone struggling with something and a machine malfunctioning. Kirby and Ben looked into a window connected to a door behind the counter to see someone struggling with a device. He was human-sized and shaped, but had green skin, four arms, and orange hair with mustache. He wore a large red hat, red and black jacket, and yellow and black gloves, all of which sported a gold star. He raised the goggles on his face to show his annoyed eyes.
"Infernal contraption! Why must you fail during business hours?!" the alien complained.
"Professor Hokestar?" Kirby asked.
"D'ooh! Why Ben Tennyson and…Ben Tennyson's younger alternate self!" the alien beamed, "Welcome to my place of business! You know, you're the fifth and sixth Ben Tennyson I've had this week."
"You opened a Mr. Smoothy's that moves from place to place?" Kirby asked.
"Uh, Kirby, some introductions?" Ben asked as the others looked in.
"Yeah. This is Professor Hokestar. He's a good guy once you get to know him," Kirby introduced.
"Hmm…This device lets you travel to different Zones, doesn't it?" Tails asked.
"Of course, my boy!" Hokestar replied, "It's a Warp Field Generator!"
"Those are illegal in twenty-seven galaxies, Professor Hokestar," Rook noted.
"Yes, but that's in your universe, my dear Rook," Professor Hokestar replied, "And before you ask, I know you because I had twenty-seven of you in here once." It was then the Warp Field Generator let out some smoke, "Now, let us discover just where we have been stranded; and let us hope we have to only smoothie joint."
Minutes later, everyone was poking their heads out of the door.
"Kinda looks like Bellwood," Kirby noted.
"We're on Earth?" Ben pondered.
"Huh. So this is your home. Dude, gotta admit that it looks cool," Manic smirked.
"We'll go scouting, okay?" Sonic offered.
"Okay, but if you get into trouble, get back here ASAP," Ben advised.
"Hai!" Roll nodded.
"You know, if we're in a different reality, does that mean Step-Sis here isn't tied to the 'stay close to Bro' rule?" Manic asked.
"Maybe," Sonic replied as Sonia leafed through the pamphlet.
"'In the case of going to another reality, the Kiss of Marriage is still in effect,'" Sonia read, "They think of everything back at your old home, don't they?"
"Hai," Roll nodded.
With that, Sonic grabbed Sonia and Manic's arms while Sonic took Amy and Tails' arms and the four speedsters raced off. After a few minutes of running about, they stopped before a music store.
"What's this place?" Sonic asked.
"It's a music store," Sonikku replied.
"You can actually buy instruments out in broad daylight?" Sonia asked.
"Dude, that's tight," Manic grinned.
"Hold it right there!"
The eight turned to look up at a nearby tree. Standing there…was Ben? He was younger, possibly around 11. He wore a sky-blue shirt under a black vest, a gold necklace with a large blue and black Omnitrix emblem on it, blue jeans, and black stylish shoes. He had a blue bracelet on his right wrist with an oversized black and blue Omnitrix on his left. His ears were pierced and his brown hair had been styled. He also had blue eyes and a blue tie.
"Stick a fork in yourselves, alien scum, because you're toast!" the younger Ben declared.
"Huh?" Sonic blinked as small round orbs floating by propellers and camera flew around them.
"Attention, attention! Ben 23 has found another evil alien threat!" one of the spheres declared, "Which hero will our champion turn into?"
"All right, you off-world hater, you're about to get beat by…" Ben 23 began before slapping his Omnitrix and turning into a sky-blue version of Wildmutt.
"It's Dognabbit! If your Club Card says 'Dognabbit,' stop by any Mr. Gyro's for a free 32-ounce soda! Mr. Gryo, Ben 23's favorite place on Earth!"
"Are you kidding me?" Sonia asked.
"Soda?" Manic blinked before grinning, "Sweet."
"Not the time, Manic!" Amy snapped before everyone ran into the music store.
"I have an idea!" Sonic exclaimed as he pointed at an old-styled piano with a turning lever on the side to make it play music, "Hurry, into that piano!"
"What?!" Amy and Sonia exclaimed as the three male hedgehogs and one fox pushed them to behind the piano, Cyber and Roll following.
Sonic reached a hand out and began spinning the lever on the side. The piano began to play as the Medallions on Sonia, Manic, and Sonic began to glow, adding their own melody to the piano. The alien dog ran in, growling, and approached the piano when it opened and startled him.
All: Sheepdog,
Sonic: standing in the rain *Dognabbit yelped and jumped back from the piano*
All: Bullfrog,
Sonikku: doing it again *slowly, Dognabbit approached the piano once more*
All: Some kind of happiness is

Sonic: no one understands *Dognabbit walked behind the piano and tilted his head when he smelled no one there*
All: Jackknife *gets bonked on the head by the turning lever*
Sonikku: in your sweaty hands *the top opened and Sonia and Amy's hands reached out, wiggling their fingers, before going back in*
All: Some kind of innocence is

To listen to your fears *Dognabbit shook his head and snarled at the piano*
Manic: You can talk to me *the left door opened to show Manic's head before closing*
Tails: You can talk to me *the right door opened to show Tails' head before closing*
Manic and Tails: You can talk to me *both doors opened to reveal their heads before closing*
Sonic: If you're lonely, you can talk to me
Sonic's arm reached out of the left door with a bone. It went back in and Roll's arm reached out, making a 'come here' motion. Dognabbit struggled before giving in and ran over to the piano. He reached out for the bone in Sonic's hand before it zipped back in. Sonikku then held it out from the other door. Dognabbit repeated this three more times before ending up with a stick of dynamite. He grinned before the dynamite went off. Dognabbit growled at the piano, his face covered in soot and burns, before the piano wasn't there anymore. He sniffed and ran out into the park across the street, where the piano was now resting with Sonikku, Tails, Amy, and Roll running out of it and into the bushes.
All: Big man (Manic: yeah)
Sonic: walking in the park *Dognabbit started sniffing around for them*
All: Wigwam
Sonikku: frightened of the dark *the feet of the ones that remained emerged from the piano's bottom and walked off into a bush, the sound attracting Dognabbit*
All: Some kind of solitude is

You think you know me, but you haven't got a clue *Dognabbit snarled as he jumped into the bushes. His head poked out in confusion, the piano not there anymore*
Amy and Cyber: You can talk to me *the piano walked to the left*
Sonia and Roll: You can talk to me *the top opened, revealing the upper bodies of the two while the doors opened to show their tapping legs before closing all up*
All four: You can talk to me *the piano walks more to the left*
All: If you're lonely, you can talk to me
Sonic, Manic, Sonia, and Roll: Hey Hey *the top and doors opened the show the heads of Sonic and Roll sticking up from the top while the heads of Sonia and Manic were upside-down in the doors before closing all up*
Dognabbit ran behind it, only for a panel to open up and have his nose area flicked by Manic.
Dognabbit: Roar *he runs to the front and yelps as the doors opened to reveal the inner workings of the piano*
Sonic: Hey, Bulldog *the bottom opened to reveal Manic holding a gun at Dognabbit*
Dognabbit: Woof *the trigger is pulled and a flower pops out*
All: Hey Bulldog *Dognabbit sniffs it and gives a dog-ish snicker until it sprayed him in the face with water*
Sonikku, Tails, Amy, and Cyber: Hey, Bulldog *poke out of a bush and waves before Dognabbit charges*
Manic and Sonic: Hey, Bulldog *the doors opened to reveal their upper bodies, making Dognabbit stop and look back and forth in confusion*
Manic: Hey man
Sonic: Whats up brother?
Dognabbit: Roof
Sonikku: What do ya say *pokes out of the bush and points at Dognabbit* I say, "roof"
Dognabbit: Roof
Sonic: You know any more? *pokes out of the top of the piano*
Dognabbit snarled before howling as loud as he could.
All: Ah ah! *everyone ran out of their hiding places and ran about*
Amy: You got it, that's it, you had it!
Manic: That's it man!
Sonic: Wo ho!
Tails: That's it, you got it!
All: Woah *Dognabbit kept skidding to a halt and tried to chase someone else as they ran about*
Sonic: Look at me man, I only had ten children
All: Ah ah ah ah ah ah ha ha ha ha *Dognabbit slams into the piano, causing it to crash onto him and break apart*
Cyber: Quiet! Quiet! (Roll: OK)
Sonia: Quiet!
All: Hey, Bulldog, Hey Bulldog
Dognabbit groaned as he got out of the piano remains. He shook his head and growled when he saw the aliens were gone.
The group was quick in getting back into the Smoothie Shop, panting and gasping for air.
"…So did you learn anything?" Prof. Hokestar asked, earning glares from the eight.
"Aside from getting chased by a blue Wildmutt, no," Manic replied.
"I learned that you guys seem to relate songs to escapes," Amy pointed out.
"What can I say? When you have the need to sing, you just do it," Sonic chuckled.
"Anything else?" Rook asked.
"Yeah, there's a younger Ben out there that calls himself Ben 23," Sonic replied, "Tried to attack us, but we got away."
"What?!" Ben and Kirby exclaimed.
"Well, if no one else will say it, this must be a dimension that closely parallels our own," Hokestar noted.
"Oh, I hate those…" Sonia groaned.
"The worst, Sis!" Manic agreed.
"Why?" Rook asked.
"At first, everything looks normal, but then, wham!" everyone flinched at the 'wham' part of Manic's reply, "You find out that super intelligent dolphins won the civil war against Robotnik, and pretty soon, we all end up in an alien zoo!"
"Now, now, I'm sure it won't be like that," Yayoi began.
"How do you know? This isn't your Zone or our Zone! There's gonna be an alien zoo! I just know it!" Manic whimpered as Rook took out a device.
"I've scanned the area. It seems that every place that was a Mr. Smoothy in our universe is now a Mr. Gyro," Rook explained.
"No!-!-!" Kirby screamed as he fell to his knees in defeat, "Why must Mr. Smoothy elude me so?"
"…I believe he is suffering from Smoothie Withdrawal," Rook admitted.
"Okay, so we shouldn't interfere here, right?" Makoto asked.
"…It's dimension travel, not time travel, Ms. Nanaya," Prof. Hokestar corrected.
"Oh," Makoto blinked.
"Okay, so no Mobians are allowed out there," Sonic informed.
"I believe I should stay as well," Rook noted.
"We can always try to fix that thing up," Manic noted, referring to the Warp Field Generator.
"Good idea, Manic," Tails nodded.
"We'll go out there and see what's up," Ben informed as he motioned to himself, Kirby, Tsubaki, and Yayoi.
"Why them?" Makoto asked, her ears drooping a bit.
Ben walked over to the older girl and placed a hand on her shoulder, "You and Nanaya would be considered aliens because of your ears and tails. I don't want you or Nanaya to get attacked because of it, Makoto."
"…" Makoto sighed before hugging Ben, "Thanks."
"Uh…well…it-It's no problem," Ben replied with a blush, recalling his time as Omniketsu.
"Fix it? Whatever for?" Prof. Hokestar asked, "I won't be leaving here for some time. Did you not hear what Mr. Rook said? This is the only Mr. Smoothy's in town."
"Professor, I'm not too sure that they like aliens here," Kirby noted.
"Just stay in the back," Ben ordered, "Makoto, Nanaya, I'm sure you two can get yourselves disguised enough to hide your ears and tails to act as counter girls since we may be here for a while?"
"Of course!" Makoto beamed as she put her beret back on while her tail lowered itself to be low enough to hide under a counter but not low enough to touch the ground, "See?"
Ben nodded as the four walked out.
"That was a nice thing you did, Ben-san," Tsubaki noted.
"Yeah, well, I know she was hurt by what I didn't say, so I thought it was a good way to try to make it up to her," Ben replied.
Yayoi was about to say something when they heard a crash. The four turned to see a blue jumpsuit-wearing figure with a black helmet sporting a blue visor slamming his covered fists onto the top of a car before throwing it into another. The mask slid into the body, revealing a Diamondhead-shaped head with a small crystal beard.
"Ben Tennyson!" the alien called out.
"Right here, Tetrax," Ben replied, making the alien turn his head and wipe his eyes.
"Mind taking a deep breath and telling us what's going on?" Kirby added.
"Huh?" Tetrax pondered, "Two of Ben Tennyson? And older?"
"Move it, yokel!" a voice called before all five looked up at the top of a building to see Ben 23, "Stick a fork in yourself, alien scum, because you're about to be served."
"I'm guessing this is the one they ran into," Tsubaki noted as the flying cameras showed up once more.
"Attention, attention! Yet another alien sighting has happened today! Which hero will our champion, Ben 23, turn into?"
"Champion?" Yayoi repeated, "He looks more like one of those girls that used to be mean to Nanaya at school."
Tsubaki frowned as she nodded.
"Okay, you off-world hater, you're about to get beat by…" Ben 23 began before turning into Articuguana with the green on him replaced by blue, his Omnitrix emblem being black and blue with a gold ring, "…Freezelizard!"
"It's Freezelizard! If your club card says 'Freezelizard,' stop by any Mr. Gyro for a free Number 2 Combo! Mr. Gyro, Ben 23's favorite place on Earth!" the announcer called, Ben looking up at a nearby billboard and sweatdropping to see it had Ben 23 on it with a gyro and a catchphrase of 'It's Gyro Time!.'
"Mr. Gyro?" Kirby stuck a tongue out.
"Last time, I took your hoverboard, alien. Now I'll take your…" Freezelizard began before he had to block a series of shards Tetrax fired from his left hand's palm, "Hey, man! Not cool!"
He jumped off the building and landed on Tetrax. Before the alien could do something, Freezelizard froze him while jumping over to, and landing on, a car. He jumped again as Tetrax's shards hit the vehicle, one hitting the fuel tank and causing it to blow up. Tsubaki and Yayoi barely pulled their new shields out before their items bounced the debris off them with ease.
"Should we do something? We may alter history," Kirby noted.
"This is dimension travel, not time travel," Ben replied.
"Oh. Yeah," Kirby sweatdropped.
Tetrax charged at Freezelizard. The ice alien fired a beam that quickly froze the ground below Tetrax, making him trip. As Tetrax got up, Freezelizard climbed up a building with a Mr. Gyro water tank on the top. Tetrax quickly followed him up before being delivered a head-butt just as he got up there, sending him crashing into the ground below. He was about to get up again when the water tank slammed onto him with Freezelizard landing on top and changing back into Ben 23.
"It's Gyro Time!" Ben 23 declared.
"…Reminds me of when I was eleven," Ben noted as a crowd began to show up and cheer for Ben 23, "Ragna and I actually did this same thing, but with me using Cannonbolt with Ragna dropping the water tank on the bad guy."
"Who did you fight?"
"Dr. Animo," Ben replied, "Creepy, pale-almost green-skin, obsessed with 'evolution' and ruling the world."
"Let's go see what's up with our other us," Kirby noted as he led the way to the crowd.
"It got drastic for a little while there, Will, but I just kept thinking of the fans," Ben 23 informed.
"A-hem," Kirby cleared his throat.
"And the new Ben 23 poster! Free with every large Aegean Meal," Ben 23 promoted as he showed a poster of Mr. Gyro and their Gyro Mascot, "It's not just delicious, it's Ben!"
"…Is he really doing this?" Yayoi asked before the water tank rumbled before Tetrax sliced it in two.
"Ben, you wanna?" Kirby offered.
"Sure," Ben replied before turning into, "Big…Chill!"
Big Chill inhaled before firing a blast of icy breath at Tetrax. The alien slapped the emblem on his left torso and teleported out of the way. He had been frozen more than enough for today. Big Chill landed on top of the severed water tank.
"Hold it, alien! Who are you?" Ben 23 demanded, "Did the Intellectuary send you?"
"The Intellectuary? I've never heard of him," Big Chill replied before he landed beside Kirby and changed back, both showing their Omnitrix to Ben 23.
"But don't worry. I think you, me, and him are sorta related," Kirby informed.
"…Dude," Ben 23 grinned as he showed his Omnitrix.
"I know, right?" Kirby smirked.
Tetrax appeared inside a storage warehouse from the looks of all the crates. He looked over at a series of computers where a large figure stood. His body was completely covered in black and blue armor with a facemask resembling black bubbles in a blue glowing background.
"Intellectuary, there's two more Ben Tennyson besides the one we're currently dealing with," Tetrax informed.
"Unfortunate, but somewhat seeable," the figure replied, "We will take care of all three."
"So you're both known as 'Ben 10,' huh? I'm thirteen better than that," Ben 23 noted as the five entered a Mr. Gyro where fans were cheering for him, "The richest, most famous guy in the world. I'm basically in charge."
"…I am so glad Makoto isn't here," Tsubaki whispered.
"Me too with Nanaya," Yayoi added as both began to think about the two Squirrel Beastkin would react to this Ben.
Ben rolled his eyes before feeling someone tug on his jacket. He turned to see a little girl with an autograph book. Ben gave a small smile as he knelt down and signed it for her. She smiled at him before running off.
"Been a while since I signed anything," Ben noted, "Forgot how nice it felt seeing kids look up to you."
"Don't tell me you were like him," Tsubaki sighed.
"Somewhat," Ben replied before they went to the counter as Kirby and Yayoi were staring at a large tray of Mr. Gyro meals.
"Man, you must really love your Gyros," Kirby noted, a bit doozy from the smell of the food.
"Psh. Yokel food. You want some? These guys will hook you up for free," Ben 23 replied as he signed autographs.
"I'm more of a smoothie guy," Kirby replied.
"I don't really mind," Ben replied as he picked up the tray and walked over to a circular table meant for five.
"Smoothies? Yuck," Ben 23 noted before he picked up a call on his Bluetooth, "Frank, I'm at Store 55 and there aren't any more movie cups! Opens in a month! All right. And get me that car endorsement!" Kirby just rolled his eyes at him before following Ben 23 over to the table, "There used to be a smoothie joint here, but I turned into Giant Man-ster and 'accidentally' stepped on it."
"Not into smoothies, got it," Kirby noted.
"So, why only 'Ben 10?'" Ben 23 asked, "And the two girls with you?"
"Well, when we both first got our Omnitrixes, we could only turn into 10 different aliens," Ben explained.
"But we've managed to unlock quite a few more aliens. Even scanned some more along the way," Kirby added, "Currently, we have over seventy with Ben here having two more than me."
"The only reason I'm not going to help him unlock the first one is because of how dangerous it is to use once you change back to human and the other…yeah, I need to lock that form like I did with Alien X," Ben admitted, "As for Tsubaki and Yayoi, they're friends of ours that were brought here with us."
"A…pleasure," Tsubaki noted.
"Indeed," Yayoi added.
'Yeah…I don't see it,' Ben and Kirby thought with sweatdrops while Ben 23 blinked in surprise.
"Yeah, I don't have just 23 aliens, either. More like, uh, fif-ninety! How do you roll yours out?"
"Come again?" Kirby blinked, "I just hit the watch."
"I think he means his fans," Ben replied as he looked out the window to see all the fans there, "Hmm…Better end this before it gets worse." He got up, "Excuse me." He quickly turned into XLR8 and zipped out before zipping back in and placed two signs reading 'No autographs – eating lunch' before changing back and sitting down, "I figured that out after I couldn't even get a bite of my lunch at school once people learned I could turn into aliens."
"…You mean I could've just done this?" Ben 23 and Kirby asked in unison.
"Yeah," Ben replied, sweatdropping.
"That reminds me. While you're wanting to stoke your demand, what if a heavy hitter like Vilgax attacks?" Kirby asked.
"Never heard of him," Ben 23 replied.
"Who ordered the calamari?" a cook called from the kitchen.
"Manic, my boy, a share in Store 23 could be profitable, yes?" Prof. Hokestar offered as Tails, Manic, and Rook were attempting to fix the WFG, "Yes, yes, yes. Quite profitable, indeed. And for the right price…"
"Not about the profit! I'm thinking about how to avoid an angry alien mob and getting sent into an alien zoo!" Manic replied, "Warp us out of here, Mr. Rook!"
"Okay, I think we've got it. Stand back," Tails advised as he and Rook got away from the device and activated it with a remote…before both sides of it expelled smoke.
"…What's the recursive quantum delineator reading?" Manic asked.
"23," Rook replied.
"T-Twenty-three?" Haseo gulped, hiding behind one of the shelves.
"You got an idea?" Roll asked.
"H-Hai," Haseo replied, "23rd dimension, Ben 2-23, an-and 23rd Mr. Smoothy's. S-Something's going on here."
"Sounds like a Numeric Canonation," Cyber noted, "One could say that it's one of the basis for all physics."
Everyone stopped talking when they heard the door's bell ring. Prof. Hokestar quickly took out a device resembling the viewer for a submarine to look up at the surface. He went over to the door with a window and looked through it.
"A customer!" Prof. Hokestar gasped happily, "Girls, you're on!"
The elderly, yet physically fit, woman before the counter looked up at the choices for smoothies. It had been a bit of a long day for her and this was a new place.
"Hello!" Makoto greeted, wearing a white, green, and pink uniform with a hat hiding her ears and her tail hidden behind the counter, "Welcome to Mr. Smoothy's."
Ben, Kirby, Tsubaki, and Yayoi looked up at the tall blue skyscraper. Apparently, this building was where Ben 23 lived from the obvious Omnitrix symbol on the side. Below it was a monitor, showing a shadowed image of Feedback. Below it was 'Who is Alien 24?'
"See? A little mystery, a little excitement from the fans," Ben 23 smirked.
"Looks like Feedback," Ben and Kirby noted in unison.
"Feedback? That's a cool name. I was gonna go with Plug Man," Ben 23 admitted.
"…Why do I get the feeling that if you did that, we'd get in trouble with copyright infringement?" Tsubaki asked.
"So when Feedback is revealed, guess what I do?"
"Store one of your other aliens away since you can only use 23 at a time for a single cycle?" Kirby guessed.
"…Smart," Ben 23 replied, "That's exactly what I do."
Kirby nodded before frowning a bit, "Say, where's Grandpa Max?"
"Grandpa Max? I haven't thought about him in years," Ben 23 replied.
"Wait. There's no Grandpa here?" Ben asked.
"How'd you learn how to use that Omnitrix, then?" Kirby asked.
"Omni-tricks?" Ben 23 repeated, "You mean the Hero Watch? Turns me into Ben-Aliens so I can fight the evil monster hater-aliens. Not really hard to figure out. I've been thinking, though…"
He was cut off by an explosion. They looked out at the bank across the street to see a group of yellow-wearing thugs run out and into a getaway car.
"…Maybe you can flash me more of your aliens? You know, in case there's one I haven't unlocked yet," Ben 23 replied as the crooks began to drive away.
Ben and Kirby were quick on the draw. In a flash of light, Ben changed into a blue alien resembling a human-sized jellyfish with green eyes and six tentacles, two acting a feet and four as arms.
"AmpFibian!" Ben declared.
Kirby turned into a thick, muscular, yeti-like alien. He had yellow and black fur along with four grey fingers and three grey toes. On the sides on his wrists were two bolts while he wore a green belt with the Omnitrix symbol.
"Shocksquatch!" Kirby declared before putting a fist into his hand, "And let's put a pin in that, 23."
"Dude, that doesn't look like my Shocksquatch at all," AmpFibian noted.
"I don't have him, but I have Electriciyeti," Ben 23 noted before the two went off after the crooks, "Hey! We've got cops to deal with crooks and stuff!"
"Well you can't just let them get away!" AmpFibian replied as he flew through the air after them.
"Ugh. Just hold them off until I call the cameras?" Ben 23 asked as Tsubaki and Yayoi frowned at him, "…What?"
The crooks turned a corner. Shocksquatch grabbed a pole to use to turn…only for it to pop out of the ground. AmpFibian flew around the corner just as Shocksquatch used the light pole's light attachment to impale the front of their car. The two grasped the pole together and sent a powerful wave of electricity through it and zapped the crooks while blowing out their engine. Both crooks whimpered as they began to wave white flags.
"Dude, that was completely Ben!" Ben 23 beamed as he ran over with Tsubaki and Yayoi, the latter two going past them with a pair of handcuffs they had from their time in the Zero Division, "Boom! Bye-bye, Thug Mobile. So now what? Do we wait for the cops?"
"Cop or Plumbers," Shocksquatch replied.
"Plumbers? Why? You break a toilet somewhere?" Ben 23 asked, earning a dropped jaw from Shocksquatch while AmpFibian landed beside them.
"Not really. They're considered the intergalactic version of cops from the universes we're from," AmpFibian replied.
Prof. Hokestar chuckled as he was counting the money he was reeling in. Apparently, this dimension had a thing for guys that liked twin girls working together in uniforms. Nearby, Makoto and Nanaya were sitting against a wall, exhausted.
"This was worse than when I had kitchen duty back in the academy," Makoto admitted.
"Agreed," Nanaya nodded.
"At least the lunch rush is over," both sighed.
"Vomit Man. Mr. Monkey. Don't know him," Ben 23 noted as Ben was turning into all the aliens he had before coming on Wildmutt, "Dognabbit. That's a pun, get it?"
"I'm starting to get it," Kirby rolled his eyes before muttering to Wildmutt, "Like how I'm starting to get that this could've been us if we never had a Grandpa Max."
Wildmutt snickered before tapping Ben 23's shoulder. Ben 23 looked at him from his PDA and watched as Wildmutt slapped his Omnitrix emblem. Four spikes emerged before a wave of green energy raced over him. He grew bigger as his orange fur turned blood-red. A set of white spikes pointed back raced down his back as he grew a tail that ended in a white spike while his black rectangular claws turned into white pointed claws.
"Ultimate Wildmutt!" the Ultimate Alien roared out.
"Dude…!" Ben 23 awed.
"Yeah. His Omnitrix has this neat little trick called 'Ultimate Feature,' which lets him turn his aliens into stronger ones called Ultimate Aliens," Kirby explained.
"But there's some negatives as well," Ultimate Wildmutt pointed out, "Can't use it on Rath, for one. And I sometimes lose something, like 'Mr. Monkey' as you call him loses his tail."
"Then how does he make webs?"
"He spits them out," both replied as Ultimate Wildmutt turned back into Wildmutt and then back to Ben.
"Hey, hey! My agent has an idea. We should do…a team-up!" Ben 23 grinned as Tsubaki and Yayoi facepalmed, "I'm thinking reality show. The three of us all got bad aliens we need to catch and Ben-Aliens to do it. Especially Ultimate Ben-Alien here."
"There's a little more to it than that," Ben replied.
"Sure there is. There's the Intellectuary as well, always out to steal your Hero Watch," Ben 23 shrugged before Kirby put his hand on the youngest Ben's shoulder.
"Ben, these aliens you turn into, they're not the only good ones," Kirby explained.
"Where we come from, aliens aren't automatically evil monsters. Some of them just live in town; like my friends Sonic, Manic, and Sonia," Ben added.
"…Mind…blown," Ben 23 stared at them with wide eyes.
"In fact, one of our best friends could be considered an alien with her squirrel ears and tail," Yayoi added before they heard something.
"…Is that a missile?" Tsubaki gulped as she saw a missile heading their way.
"Incoming!" Ben shouted before the two red heads pulled their shields and blades out.
The two shields glowed before a blue energy or yellow energy emerged from them and quickly formed a sphere around the five, blocking the attack. In the distance, a white, black, and blue-wearing alien lowered its gun. He seemed to be covered in high-tech armor with a visor with four blue visors on it. He activated his jetpack and flew down.
"Attention, attention! We have yet another alien attack!" the announcer called as camera-helicopters began to fly towards the scene, "Which hero will our champion turn into?"
"Aw great. It's Sevenseven," Ben sighed.
"It's Hero Time," Kirby smirked.
With that, Kirby activated his Omnitrix and slapped it down. In a flash of light, he turned into a silicon based alien made of extremely durable crystal. His body was overall purple, with several dark lines and spots. His hands and face were magenta, and he also sported six magenta shards on his back, two on his chest, and one on the top of his head that resembled a horn. His face consisted of a mouth and one large green eye at the center. The Omnitrix symbol was on his chest.
"Chomastone!" the alien declared.
"It's Gem-Knight!" the camera-bot declared.
Sevenseven's back quickly extended to cables with blue/white tubes on the ends. They glowed before firing lasers at him. Chromastone smirked as the lasers hit him. The energy went through his body and began to make his magenta shards glow. His hands lit up with multicolored energy and he quickly fired lasers made of it at Sevenseven. Sevenseven barely dodged them when a blur struck him. XLR8 smirked as he stood with a blue version of Cannonbolt.
"So what's this guy?" XLR8 asked.
"Rollaway," the Arburian Pelarota smirked before curling up into a ball and slammed Sevenseven into a building before timing out.
"Uh oh," Chromastone gulped.
"Huh?" Ben 23 looked down to see a metal device on his arm, counting down quickly. "A bomb!" XLR8 yelped as he quickly began to push buttons.
"I'm gonna blow up!" Ben 23 screamed.
"Don't worry. Just gotta run through all the possible codes," XLR8 replied.
He barely got it off at the one second mark. He rushed over to the hole that Sevenseven was emerging from and put it beside him before zipping off.
"…Blitznak," Sevenseven muttered as the bomb hit zero and blew up.
"Dude, I can't thank you enough," Ben 23 thanked before looking at Tsubaki and Yayoi, "Both of you as well for protecting us from the missile."
"We just did what we felt needed to be done," Tsubaki replied.
"I don't think we're done just yet," Yayoi pointed out as the smoke cleared to reveal the Intellectuary, Sevenseven, and Tetrax.
"Tennyson!" the Intellectuary declared, wielding a staff with a scoop on one end and a hammer on the other.
"Aw man…!" all three Ben's groaned.
The three nodded at each other and quickly activated their Omnitrixes. In a flash of green and blue light, Heatblast, a Shocksquatch with blue replacing the black, and Omniketsu were in their places.
"Not this again!" Omniketsu screamed, the ascot pointing up like rabbit ears.
"…What kind of Ben-Alien turns into clothes?" Electriciyeti asked.
"Trust me, you haven't seen what he can do yet," Heatblast replied, "By the way, this form's called 'Heatblast' and that's Omniketsu."
"Heh. Cool names. I went with Charcoal Man for your alien," Electriciyeti admitted.
Tsubaki barely picked up Omniketsu and rolled out of the way with the others as Tetrax and Sevenseven began to fire lasers at them from guns they had. Tsubaki looked up to see they were near the Mr. Smoothy's and quickly ran in with Yayoi.
"Makoto!" Tsubaki called.
"Huh? Tsubaki?" Makoto asked before Omniketsu was given to her, "Ben-kun?! Why'd you turn into this form again?"
"Never mind that! We have a big problem outside!" Omniketsu argued, "And this dang form won't let me reach the Omnitrix symbol to change!"
Outside, Heatblast fired a blast of flames at Tetrax and Sevenseven, earning their attention. Electriciyeti jumped onto a light pole, only for a beam to fire from the Intellectuary's staff, knocking him off and onto a car.
"Ow…Ugh, this dweeb is mine, eh," Electriciyeti groaned as he got up.
Heatblast quickly used his flames to rocket himself over an attempt to capture him in crystals by Tetrax, only to be hit by a flying Sevenseven. Mr. Smoothy's door opened and Makoto stepped out, wearing Omniketsu once more.
"C-Can we make this quick, please?!" Omniketsu begged.
"I'm hoping we can," Makoto replied before she jumped and kicked Tetrax upside the head, "Hey, rocks for brains!"
"What the…?" Tetrax shook his head before noticing the sword she had had the Omnitrix symbol, "…Never expected a DNA Sample in the Omnitrix to be female."
"Nah. Ben-kun can't fight in this form unless I'm wearing him," Makoto replied before blinking twice, "…That came out wrong."
Tetrax fired a barrage of shards at her. Makoto yelped as she began to use the scissor-like blade to defend herself. Nearby, Electriciyeti was able to grab the Intellectuary, a few bumps and bruises from the staff on the yeti-like alien. Electriciyeti roared as he unleashed his body's electricity, zapping the Intellectuary. The Intellectuary collapsed onto his back and a small panel on the torso opened up, billowing out smoke and warning sirens.
Tetrax roared as he formed a massive fist on his crystals and slammed it into Makoto. Cracks formed and Tetrax smirked at the sound. His eyes widened as it was his arm that shattered.
"Sh…She broke it!" Tetrax gasped.
"Your fist isn't the only thing that turns into a material as strong as Tadenite!" Makoto declared, "So does Omniketsu!"
Tetrax trembled a bit before he began to unleash a pummeling barrage on her. He tried various kicks and punches, but she didn't even feel phased by them.
"I'm not feeling your punches at all," Makoto smirked.
"…I take back what I said about the alien, eh," Electriciyeti noted as he kept pummeling.
"So…Now it's my turn, right?!" Makoto cried out with a determined look.
Omniketsu tightened on her figure once more, billowing out jets of steam. The green lit up once more and Tetrax began to fire a barrage of crystal shots at her. Makoto gracefully dodged each shot as if they were moving in slow motion.
"Left jab!" Makoto roared as she slammed the bottom half of her weapon into Tetrax's side before spinning it up to let her take the hilt and slam him in the back with the back of her blade, "Right hook! And then an…" she moved before Tetrax and delivered a painful uppercut with the guard of her blade, "…Uppercut!"
Tetrax cried out as he was sent into the air. He crashed onto his face. 'Stars' began to shine upon her sword as the emblem appeared behind her once more.
"And then a right straight to finish you off!" Makoto roared as she charged.
She swung and stopped a few meters behind the falling Tetrax. He cried out as his clothing and armor was sliced to shreds.
"Seni-Soshitsu!" Omniketsu declared as Tetrax crashed through the window of a clothing store.
"S…She just beat him easy…" Electriciyeti gulped.
"Awesome!" Heatblast whooped.
"Okay, even though her outfit's revealing, that is still amazing to see," Tsubaki admitted, the others all nodding inside the smoothie store.
Yayoi narrowed her eyes as she saw something on a piece of the fabric. As it seemed to turn to ribbons, a single glowing red ribbon came out and went into Omniketsu, causing the green to glow just slightly brighter. Heatblast used the opportunity he got from the distraction to quickly change into Diamondhead and quickly froze Sevenseven in place with enough crystal to keep his head exposed.
"And stay down," Diamondhead ordered as Makoto put on a cloak to let Omniketsu drop off her and change back, the squirrel Beastkin hearing his timer going off.
"I hate that form. Really, I do," Ben sighed as Diamondhead changed back to Kirby.
"At least we got them down," Kirby noted before walking over to Ben 23 as he stood over the Intellectuary's body, "…Hey, Ben?"
"Yeah?"
"This kinda looks familiar," Kirby replied as he poked the armor of the Intellectuary.
"…Kirby…Change the blue with green and the white with black," Ben's eyes widened.
"Huh?" Kirby blinked before gasping, "Azmuth!"
"So you know my name," a voice noted before the two looked down with Ben 23.
On the ground near the left hand was what looked like GreyMatter. His eyes were blue in color, he had a few extra whisker marks, and wore a black and blue jumpsuit. Kirby held his hand down and the alien hopped onto it.
"Another alien?" Ben 23 groaned, "Hold on, I'll…"
"Do nothing," Ben replied as Makoto walked over, "Cool your jets, Ben."
"Huh? Why?" Ben 23 asked.
"You know him?" Makoto asked as Ben 23 looked at her tail.
"A squirrel?" Ben 23 pondered, "Cool."
"Ben 23, Makoto, meet Azmuth of the Galvans, creator of the Sword of Ascalon, greatest mind in five galaxies-possibly more-, and inventor of the Omnitrix, Galvan Prime II, and the Galvanic Mechamorphs," Kirby introduced.
"I see you've studied my history a bit," the alien noted.
"Oh wow! That's so cool!" Makoto exclaimed with stars in her eyes.
"…The sword of what now, Kirby?" Ben raised a brow.
"Wait…He made the Hero Watch?" Ben 23 asked in disbelief.
"It's called an 'Omnitrix,'" Azmuth corrected as he jumped onto Ben 23's arm and removed the Omnitrix.
"Hey!"
"You're rich and haven't killed anybody yet, kid. Stop while you're ahead," Azmuth informed.
"Don't be hatin'! It's mine!" Ben 23 argued.
"It was meant for Grandpa Max, wasn't it?" Ben asked, stopping Ben 23 from trying to grab the Galvan.
"Correct," Azmuth replied.
"That doesn't…!" Ben 23 began before realizing what Ben asked, "You knew Grandpa Max?"
"Yes. Sadly, it arrived too late," Azmuth replied, regret in his voice, "He was already gone." He then noticed the ones Ben and Kirby had, "And it looks like other realities have suffered the same fate."
"No. Grandpa Max was still alive last time I saw him," Ben replied as Kirby shifted a bit in unease.
"Will someone please tell me who Grandpa Max is?" Makoto asked, "Honestly, you've mentioned him more than once since we've met, but I have yet to see any pictures of him."
"Oh, sorry about that," Ben apologized sheepishly, "Grandpa Max is a great man. He'd always give me advice and help me from becoming…" he glanced at Ben 23, "…Well, you, I guess."
"Hey! That's not fair! I…" Ben 23 began before sighing, "…I miss Grandpa Max."
"Of course you do," Azmuth noted, "Merchandise and endorsements are no substitute."
"Who…" Ben 23 began before Kirby put his hand on Ben 23's shoulder and gave him a frown.
"You don't get it. If Ben and I hadn't noticed Azmuth first, you might have crossed a line," Kirby informed, "One there's no coming back from. Believe me and Ben on this…" he looked over at Ben, "…we both crossed it and haven't been able to really overcome it."
Makoto's ears lowered a bit. She knew what he was referring to.
"Okay, whatever. I get it," Ben 23 spoke.
"I don't think you do," Ben replied before tapping his Omnitrix, "Hold on, I have something in here you may want to hear. It was around almost a year back when I just ran away from home. I had a breakdown that day and it was because of this message that I chose to go back home."
Ben 23 raised a brow. The symbol glowed before a hologram appeared and Ben 23's eyes moistened a little. The hologram was that of a man in his sixties or seventies. He had gray hair on his head, a red Hawaiian shirt, and brown slacks.
=Ben, I know things have been difficult lately, and I'm sorry. I think I know what you're feeling. Ever since you were a little boy, you've been living with so many unresolved things. Well take it from an old man, those things send us down a road. They make us who we are; and if anyone is destined for greatness, it's you son. You owe the world your gifts; you just have to figure out how to use them. And know that wherever they take you, we'll always be there. So come on home, Ben. You're my hero, and I love you=
The hologram turned off. Ben 23 wiped his eyes, trying not to show his tears. Kirby looked down, his eyes hidden under his hair. Azmuth merely nodded at what the message said.
"He was wise beyond his years," Azmuth nodded before looking at Ben 23 and tossed him the Omnitrix, "Omnitrix, Vocal Override. User: Azmuth."
=USER AZMUTH RECOGNIZED= all three Omnitrixes went off.
"Interconnect played message from recent file and copy," Azmuth instructed as Ben's Omnitrix showed Max's image once more before the other two showed it before all three turned off, "Ben Tennyson, if you want to continue using the Omnitrix, you will need a mentor, one who can help you deal with who is good and who is bad."
"You're not alone, kid. We just couldn't penetrate that tough skull of yours," Tetrax noted as he walked over, wearing a heavy jacket and baggy jeans, cuts in them from him putting them on.
"Sorry about that. Thought you were a bad guy," Makoto apologized.
"It's perfectly fine," Tetrax replied.
"I'm sorry about thinking all aliens were bad," Ben 23 apologized to Azmuth.
"Yes. But in two other universes, another pair of you found a better use for their Omnitrixes. We need to explore that," Azmuth replied.
"Well, I can think of one reason we both did so well," Kirby noted as Ben got a funny feeling about what he said.
"Oh, my, my, my! Nearly all out of Mr. Smoothy's ingredients. Except for smelt petunia," Prof. Hokestar beamed, "Well, some people just don't like smelt."
"That will do. Now switch off the stabilizers between dimensions," Azmuth instructed Tails, Manic, and Rook, "You've been doing the equivalent of stepping on the brake and the accelerator at the same time."
"Impressive," Tails noted.
"Truly you are the first thinker, parallel-world Azmuth," Rook noted.
"And you three have grand potential to be brilliant scientists.
"Thanks!" Manic grinned.
"By Earth standards," Azmuth continued, "Compared to Galvans, you're well on your way."
"Thanks," Tails nodded as Ben, Kirby, and Ben 23 entered the back room.
"Listen to this guy like you'd listen to Grandpa Max," Kirby informed.
"We don't want to come back to save your butt," Ben added.
"Or kick it," both said in unison.
"You don't have to worry about me. The only big enemy I had was the Intellectuary," Ben 23 replied, "And it turns out, he wasn't bad. So what could go wrong now?" Ben and Kirby facepalmed, "Nothing. Nothing could possibly go wrong now."
"Curse you, Murphy!" Manic shouted as Haseo gulped, hiding behind Roll and Cyber.
"Who's Murphy?" Ben 23 asked.
"M-Murphy's Law," Haseo squeaked.
"Truly this is not the universe we know," Rook noted.
"Which reminds me; we still need to get back home," Sonikku noted.
"Leave now?! Bu-bu-but-but-but, my good hedgehog, this store just started paying off!" Prof. Hokestar noted.
"Speaking of which. Our Ben may want to check his Omnitrix," Azmuth noted.
"Huh?" Ben 23 pondered before he looked at the images, "Huh? Whoa, that's cool!"
"What?" Ben asked as he and Kirby looked over his shoulders to see a shadowed image of a hedgehog.
"Apparently, your Omnitrixes have a scan lock on Mobians, preventing you from sampling their DNA at the moment," Azmuth informed, "It appears the me of your dimensions put them on and they're DNA-locked to his genetics only."
"So that explains why I didn't scan you guys," Ben and Kirby noted in unison.
Prof. Hokestar sighed as he laid on the counter. Outside, the others stood outside the Sonic Underground's bus.
"Take care, dude," Ben said as he shook hands with Kirby.
"You too," Kirby nodded.
"It was nice to meet you," Tsubaki bowed.
"Likewise," Yayoi nodded.
"Hope you guys can deal with your Ro-butt-nik," Sonic noted as he and Sonikku shook hands.
"Yeah. Hope you have good luck on your marriage," Sonikku chuckled as Sonic blushed.
"Oh, you be quiet," Sonic muttered.
"Aw, poor Yacker-chan," Roll cooed as she and Cyber held their Wisps, the two aliens currently crying.
"Hai. They're going to miss each other," Cyber nodded, both she and Roll trying not to cry.
"You're really gonna try to do that?" Makoto asked in surprise.
"Yep," Nanaya replied, "I mean, from what you told me, Jin is not right in the head at all."
"A-Ano…" Haseo gulped as he tapped Roll's shoulder, earning her attention before he hugged her, "I…I hope y-you can find th-the me from h-here."
"…Hai," Roll replied as she returned the hug, "I know I'll find him someday."
T-Pup panted in Tails' arms as Manic patted him, "Good luck dealing with-snrt-Baldy McNosehair."
"Same to you, Manic," Tails nodded.
"We have left something for you in the lab inside the bus," Rook informed.
"Really now?" Manic smirked.
"Yep! We also left something special for Ben, Tsubaki, and Makoto in there as well," Tails added.
"Please hurry up out there!" Prof. Hokestar called, "The sooner you are back in your dimension, the sooner I can continue traveling them to sell my goods!"
"We're coming, we're coming!" Kirby called.
Minutes later, the Sonic Underground, Ben, Makoto, and Tsubaki waved to Team Fighters as they were inside the Mr. Smoothy's. The building vanished with them inside. Soon, the group was driving off from the town, Sonic and Ben in the driver's seat and shotgun respectively. Inside the lab, Manic was chuckling as he looked at all the new blueprints and notes Rook and Tails had left for him. He then noticed a small box. He opened it to reveal it was filled with white masks. He placed one on and felt a small tingling sensation. He turned to a mirror and yelped.
Instead of a hedgehog, there was a human. His green hair was in Manic's style of quills. He wore a black shirt with red designs on it over his red vest and blue jeans. He could feel the mask was on still, so he touched where it was and tried to remove it. The face in the mirror turned into the mask as he removed it, changing him back into a hedgehog.
"…Dude, this will be sweet," Manic grinned.
"Help me! Professor Kokonoe!" A Chibi-style Omake
Starring: Professor Kokonoe, Iron Tager, Tsubaki Yayoi, Rook Blanko, and Sonic the Hedgehog
The curtain lifted, revealing something of a dark unlit lab…Said lab being somewhat messy. Then a spotlight sparked to life, revealing a fairly young adult catgirl with a slim body, wearing a large scientist like jacket with abnormally long sleeves that end up looking like paws, with cuts made in them allowing her slender arms to slip through, red pants with two long pink tails with white tips coming from the back, and high-heeled sandals. Her hair was pink, tied in a style consisting of a long ponytail backing up longer tufts resembling large cat ears which tend to overshadow her actual cat ears. Her eyes were a golden-amber with visible bags under them, possibly due to over-working, and she was also wearing glasses. With a certain elegancy, she began to speak.
"Hello lost children. I am Professor Kokonoe, lord and master of the Sector Seven laboratory," She paused to push her glasses back into place briefly, and then began to speak again, "…Well, OK, we aren't in the lab at the moment. This place can sort of be temporarily moved into the Boundary. Well, simply put, it's a mysterious room. A mysterious room where you can do anything you want. To be honest, it's a paradise for all those sad, little children who couldn't make it to the true ending. A sort of Avalon. If you're one of those nutbars who's all 'I don't need help,' or 'I want to unlock hidden stuff,' or 'I'll just look for a flowchart online,' then you can piss off."
She proceeded to sigh.
"Anyway, my job here more or less is to do three things every five chapters. First: Answer common questions that I believe most people are asking. Second: To do a little re-cap of what happened in the past five chapters for you idiots who decide to skip them to get to the good parts in later chapters. And finally, give out supporting information to further your understanding of the terms of BlazBlue and Ben 10," Kokonoe proceeded to glare at you, "One thing I would like to make clear now, is that none of the actions in this segment are considered cannon to the story, regardless of how crazy, funny, or even lovey-dovey it is. If I get one message asking about if this was cannon or not, I'm castrating the sender of said message with a cattle prod and a rusty knife!"
Kokonoe proceeded to sigh once more. It was rather repetitive for her at that point. She began to speak yet again to you, the reader.
"Very well. Now that that's out of the way, lost children of the day…you may enter," She ordered, and suddenly the whole lab lit up and Kokonoe took a few steps back.
As if on cue, the sound of a metal door sliding open echoed in the area. Tsubaki Yayoi, Rook Blanko, and Sonic the Hedgehog entered, walking into the middle of the lab.
"Huh? Oh, hey Professor Kokonoe!" Sonic grinned as he waved to her.
"It appears I have taken a wrong turn," Rook noted.
"Where are we?" Tsubaki pondered.
"I see you still haven't fixed the door's problem," Sonic noted.
"Shut up! Bastard…" Kokonoe muttered.
"Look, you guys, we're in this special room in this 'Boundary' place and we won't get let out unless she gives us advice or something like that," Sonic explained.
"Really?" Tsubaki asked before Kokonoe ran over to her and swiped the upgraded Izayoi, "Hey!"
"I'll give it back. Don't worry," Kokonoe assured.
QUESTIONS:
"Okay. Let's start with Questions we've got in Reviews and PMs. So far..." Kokonoe looked over at the 'IN' Box and frowned, "Honestly, I was expecting...more."
"Well, let's start with seanzilla115's questions from a PM," Sonic noted, "Seanzilla115 asks, 'If you were to go up against Egman, how would you beat him, Kokonoe?'"
"That's easy enough," Kokonoe smirked, "EMP his place then have Tager storm it."
"Will the Deadly Six be making an appearance in this story?" Sonic read, "...Who're the Deadly Six?"
"No one important yet," Kokonoe replied.
"Are any more Blazblue characters going to appear in this story?" Tsubaki read.
"Of course," Kokonoe replied, "He's doing research on characters at the moment."
"Out of all the enemies that Ben has up against in the past, which three do you think are the most dangerous?" Rook asked.
"Oh, that's kinda easy; in order of increasing danger: Khyber, Vilgax, and...Albedo," Kokonoe informed.
"Albedo?" Rook repeated.
"Yeah. I mean, he's from a race that has such large intelligence, their kids can pass easily skip preschool and go straight to college on Earth," Kokonoe informed, "There's also the information that Albedo has access to his Ultimate Forms once more."
"Here's two from A5L in the Reviews," Tsubaki noted as she read them, "...I only know Knuckles and I didn't really find him gullible."
"They're pretty much equally stupid," Kokonoe shrugged, "The alien he turned into will be explained later."
"Hold you seats, jackthehedgehog's got a ton of questions," Sonic noted as he saw the stack of questions.
"..." Kokonoe read the first one and began to drool and imagine all the upgrades she could give to Iron Tager.
"Kokonoe!" Iron Tager shouted, snapping her out of it.
"H-Huh? What now? Oh, yeah. This," Kokonoe frowned, "As for stress...I usually put it out on Tager by giving him upgrades. Just try to find some way to vent your stress on."
"...I'll have you know that Kokonoe was the one who introduced me to that field," Iron Tager frowned before Kokonoe facepalmed.
"No. I was a natural-born girl," Kokonoe informed.
"But your dad is a two-tailed cat," Sonic noted, "How did..."
"Shut it!" Kokonoe snapped at the blue hedgehog.
"Ben told me that he always felt the changes to his body when he turns into his alien forms," Rook noted, "It feels as if a wave of energy washes over his body, changing it into something else."
"Well, for one, you need to add the Three Laws to it first. Second, don't give it an AI that says perverted things unintentionally," Kokonoe informed.
RE-CAP:
"Okay, it's time for the Re-cap portion of our little get-together," Kokonoe informed, "Tager, this is your alley."
"Why is it my alley?" Tager asked in annoyance.
"Because you're the one with the camera installed in his eyes," Kokonoe smirked like a cat.
"I swear that you're a pervert more than a scientist…" Tager sighed with a shake of his head and his arms shrugging.
"Just shut up and do the damn review!" Kokonoe barked.
"Very well..." Tager frowned as he adjusted his glasses, "The Sonic Underground ended up meeting counterparts to not only them, but those they know-except in the case of Amy Rose, Tails, Yayoi, and Rook Blanko. They originally went to the Oracle in order to help them find a way home, but ran into some trouble in the form of the EggPawns and the Winter-Beetle made by Shockwave. It took a dual-Distortion Drive from Makoto and Nanaya to defeat the former while the latter was dealt with by Grimlock in his T-Rex Mode. When they got to the Oracle, he tasked them to go to Sanctuary, which had been relocated with the assistance of Queen Aleena..."
"...Mom's awesome like that," Sonic chuckled.
"Quiet, you," Kokonoe scowled.
"Actually, it would be better if he recounted it," Tager advised, "I don't have much data on what happened."
"Well, we split up into groups once we got to Sanctuary-after I did my normal 'It's Big Brother Sonic' routine with the kiddies there- and my group ran into who we were looking for. It turned out to be our Zone's Tsubaki Yayoi, possessed by something. Still haven't figured out if it was the Izayoi or something else," Sonic noted.
"I fought my other self and was able to beat her the first time, but then the Izayoi took over her and gave her a new form," Tsubaki informed, "She...decimated me with ease."
"I moved between them and my Medallion transformed into a sword. After that, I actually beat her and used an Astral Heat," Sonic grinned, "I threw away the Izayoi remains, but we didn't know that she lost her memories of after she had graduated from the NOL's Academy and that she was completely blind. We went back to the Oracle and he sent us to a beach with a jungle behind it. Ben found a locket that turned out to be a key to changing the jungle into an old abandoned resort that mom and dad stayed in during their honeymoon. There, we found a statue that was needed to help Tsubaki and Yayoi."
"It was after that the Oracle sent you to where the Floating Island is, correct?" Kokonoe asked.
"Yes," Tsubaki nodded, "Ben revealed one of the new upgrades for their bus; a flight mode. He left when someone asked where he learned how to do that from, though. I hope he's okay..."
"Indeed," Rook nodded.
"I'm sure he'll be fine. Once we got onto the Floating Island, a few of the girls tripped some of Knuckles' traps before Chomp showed up. Amy fainted when she saw him and screamed once she woke up," Sonic informed, "Once we met the Knucklehead, we helped him take the now-huge Chaos..."
"Master," Tager corrected.
"...Master Emerald to an underground shrine. Unfortunately, we ran into trouble in the form of the Combaticons, former SWATBots drastically upgraded with vehicle modes and a Combined form known as Bruticus Maximus. They completely outclassed us until Ben turned into Omniketsu. Makoto dripped some blood on him and..."
"He stripped her, demanding she put him on! And when he got on her, he turned into...into..." Tsubaki blushed heavily, "I am so glad Kirby doesn't have that form!"
"But they easily dominated Bruitucs Maximus and sent them packing," Sonic grinned, "After that, Knuckles gave us the song we needed to heal Tsubaki and Yayoi."
"Good. We won't be reviewing this chapter, though, like all the other fifth chapters," Kokonoe informed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
"Okay, let's get this off first once more; the damn author isn't creative at all!" Kokonoe barked, "His most recent alien? It's Senketsu from Kill la Kill, just replacing the red with green!"
"So what is...?" Rook began.
"In this story, the Kamui are a race of aliens that are as rare as the Wisps are. They're symbiotic in nature, feeding on blood in trade for bestowing their wearers clothing that can turn into revealing armor that gives them super-human powers," Kokonoe explained, "They're made of a material known as 'Life Fibers' and grow stronger with each Life Fiber they add. Not much else is known except for the one they share blood with are the only ones that can hear them."
"How much stronger?" Rook asked.
"Well, clothing that has ten percent of it made from Life Fibers gives one enhanced abilities; twenty percent gives you superhuman abilities; thirty percent and higher create powerful armor and new abilities," Kokonoe replied, "For example; you make a boxing uniform that's 20 percent Life Fibers. You get a left jab that unleashes a barrage of whip-like punches with the right hook being a massive spiked boxing glove tougher than steel."
"Impressive," Rook noted.
"Well, you're done here. Get on out of here," Kokonoe shooed them off.
"Um...Isn't that a bit rude?" Tsubaki asked.
"Why yes, yes it is," Kokonoe replied, still waving them off without a care.
