My Hokuto Academia
AN: Just a fair bit of warning, there will be SPOILERS for both My Hero Academia [Vigilantes too], Hokuto no Ken, and Souten no Ken (and its continuation, Regenesis).
I DO NOT own Hokuto no Ken or My Hero Academia, they belong to their respective creators, Tetsuo Hara, Buronson, and Kohei Horikoshi. Support the official releases, especially of Souten no Ken. Support the official release! Mainly for emphasis!

Chapter Thirty-One:
Momo dashed first, sending out a jab into Carmilla, still in her stance.
BAM!
The black-haired girl felt pain at her knee, then saw the source: a risen kick with some smoke coming, like from how fast she struck. Momo then backed away, big mistake, Carmilla took this chance to close the distance and respond with a quick straight punch.
BOOM!
The slight shock on Carmilla's face was apparent, Momo managed to dodge, albeit barely! The raven-haired girl responded with a knee into Carmilla, sending her back a bit. She continued further, sending a straight punch to her.
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT! SHE-"
Carmilla caught her by the wrist while slipping away from her range, specifically outside. The vampiress did a small hop... which landed a knee into the midsection and a hook punch into Momo's face.
"That was a Knee Kick! Specifically from Southern Praying Mantis!"
Momo was a bit stunned, only to see another kick coming, but it went in a different pattern: the knee was pointed at her, but the foot is pivoted to the side, almost like it's missing. It gets into a hooking motion, smacking Momo with the flat of her foot!
The raven-haired girl was getting a bit frustrated, which was part of Carmilla's plan. Momo grabbed Carmilla's fight shirt, but that was her mistake. She locked Momo's grabbing arm with one hand flat against her...
WHAM!
A horizontal elbow into her temple, then she switched hands immediately for another elbow.
BAM!
A back-fist into her chin and then she grabbed a good chunk of her hair, forcing her head down for a knee strike. The final part of this combo is a side elbow into the midsection, completing the attack.
Blood Queen Combo!
Momo's face was bleeding, mainly from the nose and the lips. However, her eyes looked livid. She needed to think of something and fast, otherwise, Carmilla was going to defeat her.
In a split-second, she ran right at her, ready to punch her... but it wasn't a strike at all. It was an overextended hook that latched on Carmilla's neck, catching her off-guard for a bit.
"I have you, vampire!"
She utilized the forearm to push against her throat, pushing her down on the ground.
It's clear: Momo is on top, holding her down, and then got her other arm from under Carmilla's neck, and then proceed to smash her face with repeated elbow strikes. It would seem it's working but she's smirking.
"What are you-"
Blood Dragon Thrust!
A quick but potent two-palm push hit Momo right in the midsection, stopping her attack and her momentum, this might be it for her. She then felt hands around her face...
WHAM!
"OH! GODDAMN! A VICIOUS HEADBUTT FROM THE BLOOD QUEEN!"
Momo powered through by launching an overhand into the vampire's face which landed! She lowered her stance a bit, specifically with her shoulder pointing to her.
Breathing Mountain Lean!
A full-on shoulder charge attack with her back into it but there was an exhale right after the impact!
Momo was now starting to realize: this vampire was more skilled than she let on, especially with the execution of her combos which definitely utilized Kung Fu as a base. This is where Carmilla was starting to realize: the raven-haired girl was not fragile as she looked.
The VP went right at her again, but then swayed to the side!
BAM!
An elbow got Carmilla in the face, but she spun around to divert the impact and then aimed upwards with a palm strike, but there was something different. Her palm had her fingers stretched out like a tiger's claw.
WHAM!
The bottom of her jaw was one fire, but Carmilla wasn't done yet! Momo's face and shoulders were slapped, but there was no other way to describe it. Despite the claw-like appearance, it looked like slapping with more force behind it.
Blood Tiger's Flame!
The slapping strikes now resembled claws swipes a bit more, slashing at Momo who quickly put a guard, protecting her face, but all that did was weaken her guarding position. In a few seconds, it stopped, causing Momo to lower her guard a bit. Down below, she saw Carmilla move forward in a semi-crouched stance!
'Aw, shit! I fell-'
BOOM!
It was a stretched palm strike sent into Momo's injured midsection, complete with the explosive power sent through that. The VP of 1-A was bleeding definitely, no one would blame her if she conceded the match. The gap between the vampire heroine and Yaoyorozu was like night and day.
Announcers' Booth
"Crap... Yaoyorozu is being turned into a sandbag," responded Antonius.
"Yes, she is..."
"I'm... not..."
BAM!
"...giving up..."
Momo was like a marionette, only moving as much as she could. However, her steps looked mechanical because of the damage she took, and Carmilla barely had a scratch on her.
"Listen, you're at your limit," said Carmilla. Momo caught on for a bit, listening to what the vampire has to say.
"Your point?"
"You're unable to fight much longer, look at yourself, you're half-way dead."
Yaoyorozu didn't deny that point, but whether it was her passion or stubbornness, that's anyone's guess, responded: "That's what a hero is supposed to do. Keep-"
BAM!
A two-punch combo was sent her way, knocking her down onto the ground, and with a noticeable frown, Carmilla stated: "Look at yourself, you're bloody, you think you're in any condition to fight a villain?"
SNARL...
Momo snarled in response and rushed right at her!
"What is she doing?!" said a concerned Jiro.
Momo generated a small shield to function as a battering ram, right at Carmilla's face. It only worked for a few seconds, but Momo would keep at it... until the vampire kicked in her shield, thoroughly.
However, that wouldn't stop her. She then generated a rope to try entangling her, but that attempt was shot down when Carmilla did a crescent kick, right into her side.
GACKK!
Momo held her pained side, dropping her shield at once, and opened herself to further attack. One wonders if pride was driving her at this point, but another part of her mind was pleading with her to concede.
HOWEVER!
She generated two more weapons: a pair of kali sticks.
"I'm not done. Just. Yet."
She leaped towards her, swinging those sticks at Carmilla's face!
SMACK!
"HOLY! DIRECT HIT! DIRECT HIT!"
Momo saw that she made a direct hit, but something was wrong... she was barely budging! She started once again, hitting Carmilla all over, trying to make a dent in her frame, but she did put up a guard as soon as she was circling around her.
POW!
A body blow dropped her, specifically in the midsection, but there were some blood-marks there.
"You... fucking..."
The final strike sounded like a high-grade shotgun blast.
"HOLY CRAP! WINNER BY KO! ABSOLUTE KO! CARMILLLLAAA!"
Carmilla sighed a bit, especially looking at Momo who had a bloody nose and it was leaking over a part of her face. She would walk away, but stopped for a bit, listening...
"This... isn't... over, you vampiric witch," said Momo.
COUGH!
"I'll get... you..."
COUGH!
"Come hell-"
"You're taking your loss worse than I thought. Listen, this is just one loss. You're young, you can get better from here on," responded Carmilla, but her tone was sincere. Momo gritted her teeth for a bit before fading out.
The stretcher came as quickly as they could.
The Infirmary
"Oh, crap. Carmilla needs to know when to hold back, you don't think Yaoyorozu will be bitter over this, right?" said a concerned Midoriya. Todoroki tried to come up with an answer, but this was the closest thing to one.
"I... really don't know. She seemed fairly confident, but this? I really don't know," Todoroki responded. "However, she still managed to bear it."
Announcers' Booth
"So... does that conclude everything or..."
"Nope. We have at least two-three more fights to get through," said Antonius. "There's the only one thing, which student is up next?"
"If you're asking me, I believe it should be either Asui or Ojiro from 1-A," said Aizawa. "The former is able to keep herself level-headed, plus her Quirk allows her flexibility and agility within a battle or rescue op. The latter, on the other hand, is tailor-made for events like this."
"Interesting to say the least, what about 1-B?"
"Truth be told, I believe Mr. Kan can answer those questions honestly," responded Present Mic. "For my own two cents, I'm gonna have to say the Kamikiri kid because of his sharp Quirk and his aggressive nature which works in a fight. The other one, believe it or not, Monoma."
"The one with the Quirk, Copy?"
"Correct, but he's very smart enough to close the gap with his combat skills."
As he finished talking, Antonius noticed a green mohawk-wearing kid coming onto the ring and gave Mic the signal.
1-B Section
"Hmm... Kamikiri's Quirk should give him the advantage in the upcoming fight," Monoma stated, but the way the fights progressed... made him doubt himself.
"The blades would at best give him a small ranged advantage," Akarui responded.
"Is he even trained in fighting?" asked a fairly young voice, but revealed to be a large suit, looking like a hybrid of containment suit and combat armor, specifically that of a knight. The details that made him stand out were the all-white color scheme with the face having a smooth plate with a center-line and being gray on top of that with four tubes attached.
Name: Kazuki Kessho
Quirk: Plasmokinesis - The manipulation of plasma energy via enhanced strikes or limited projectiles; However, the user needs to replenish via absorption of sources such as lightning or heat.
"No, I don't believe so... he's more of a freestyle fighter."
Kessho signed a bit, thinking to himself, 'Kamikiri will be lucky to score a strike, especially considering the level of pro fighters that appeared so far.'
"THIS IS A SURPRISE! THE MANTIS OF 1-B, HE'S MEAN AND GREEN WITH THE QUIRK TO MATCH HIS ATTITUDE! GIVE IT UP FOR TOGARU KAMIKIRI!"
A green-haired boy walked into the ring, but there was a better look at him: he was lean but definitely tall, tall enough to pass for a young adult; He had two fanged mandibles jutting out from his cheeks, sharp-looking eyes, and definitely showed off by producing blades from his forearms.
Name: Togaru Kamikiri
Quirk: Razor Sharp - The user is able to produce razor-sharp blades from any part of his body. They are durable enough to cut through steel.
Fighters' Section
The fighters were conversing for a bit, but Calamity spoke up, saying "Well then, we might have a challenge actually. That Quirk is definitely deadly."
"Hmm... Rouga, do you think you can take him on?" asked Carmilla.
"Hmm... I definitely can. Though I'm getting a Bakugo vibe from him if that makes sense."
As they were talking, the two of them felt a presence coming in their direction, it felt heavy, to say the least. The other fighters felt it, even to the point of making way for it.
"Wait a minute... the Thunder Lance himself?!" exclaimed Calamity. "Oh, no. That mantis kid is deader than dead."
As he finished, a fairly buff man in a dark-colored Karate gi was walking towards the ring entrance. The gi was sleeveless and most striking of all, the amount of facial hair on his face. If he was compared to any animal, the beard made him look a bit like a lion.
"I'm gonna be honest, did not know you would be up for this," asked Rouga.
"Truth be told, I wanted to test Young Midoriya and my granddaughter's skills at this point. However, I'm curious to see what the rest of the Heroics Course is capable of," responded the man.
"Ah, gotcha. Understood, Kouji."
Kouji nodded and walked to the entrance without further interruption. The rest of the fighters were a bit shocked, to them, Kouji Sugawara AKA Thunder Lance was someone who didn't waste any words when talking with younger fighters.
Announcers' Booth
"Whoa, I got files on the next fighter... wait, is this right?" said Antonius as he flipped through the files once again. "Oh... this is the real deal. That kid's dead. As in six feet under."
"What do you mean?" asked Aizawa, albeit with concern.
"Kouji. Sugawara. One of the premier Karatekas within Japan, but what makes him stand out is his relentlessness against thugs who want to build up a rep. That and his deadly spear-hand strike."
Mic and Aizawa wonder if this match should be called off, specifically for Kamikiri's safety and health. However, the former believes this fighter can hold himself back at the very least.
"Well, time for me to work my magic..."
[Kengan Ashura OST - "Knock Me Down" - Kuroki Gensai's Theme]
"A HITMAN OF THE FIGHTING WORLD HAS ARRIVED! HIS STYLE IS A LETHAL VARIANT OF KARATE CALLED GOURAI-RYU! CAN HE LIVE UP TO HIS THUNDEROUS NAMESAKE? STANDING AT 190CM [6'3] AND 101KG [222lb], WELCOME... THE THUNDER LANCE! KOUJI SUGAWARA!"
A bearded man walked into the ring, he exuded a strong aura, and his beard was a complementary touch. In fact, Kamikiri was starting to sweat a bit.
'Is he this strong?!'
He reflexively took a stance while Sugawara took a slightly crouched stance with his hands forward, straightened like spears.
As the entrance song finished, Kamikiri wondered if he can make a last-minute-
"AND FIGHT!"
Kamikiri barely saw the first attack coming...
Author's Notes: Looking up vids for various Kung Fu styles, I want to make sure the moves, though a bit exaggerated, are still believable; mechanically speaking, and how the execution is done. Kazuki Kessho's name is composed of the characters for 'harmony', 'light', and 'blood plasma'.
Blood Queen Combo - A combo attack that has techniques from Bajiquan but with one condition: the opponent grabbing you first. Once that happens, you trap said arm with one hand, then horizontal elbow with the opposite. The following sequence: horizontal elbow, back-fist [switch hands so the opponent's arm is still trapped], knee strike, and side elbow.
Breathing Mountain Lean - A variation of the tieshankao [Apply Mountain Lean] which is a shoulder charge attack that's utilized in Bajiquan. It starts out at mid-range, complete with an inhale, complete with a crouch-step towards the enemy. The enemy is hit with explosive force via the back of the shoulder. Its original name is Kokyuzanko.
Blood Tiger's Flame - A combo of Fu Jow Pai [Tiger Kung Fu] and Bajiquan which starts out with fast claw-like slapping strikes to the upper section of the enemy, then the user backs away at a short distance, then steps forward in a semi-crouching stance to deliver an explosive palm strike. Its original name would be Ketsukoen.
