Sakura was walking home after testing her team and telling Tsunade that they passed, she was extremely tired, so she decided to go home. The moment she walked into her home Kaito jumped on to her and began to lick her face.

"Oh, Kon'nichiwa Kaito..." as she put the pup down. Kaito yipping happily and ran to the table Sakura was heading to. Sakura opened a medical book that she was reading and to read it, Kaito jumped on her lap and looked at the book she was reading. He eventually got bored of the book Sakura was reading and just when to her bed before curling up in a ball and sleeping.

The next morning Sakura woke up from the loud beeping of her alarm clock, "Shut up." Sakura said, then rolled over onto her side and put the pillow on top of her hand. Kaito had other idea and jump on to Sakura, directly on the stomach, waking her up instantly with pain.

"Ow, that hurt Kaito," then Sakura look to into his pup dog eyes and began to squeeze the poor fox-wolf until she heard the doorbell, "I'm coming, give me a minute," Sakura walked to the door and opened it, only to see

"Hello Sakura-chan," said Ino.

"Hey Ino-chan, come inside," said Sakura, Ino stepped inside the apartment and they both sat down at Sakura's small table.

"I have today off so do you want to spend some time together," said Ino.

"Ah sorry, but I'm going to have to say no, I have to training my team with some teamwork exercises and then I need to rest because I have been working non-stop for the past couple of days," said Sakura.

"Ah bet you're going to rest in a bedroom of one Namikaze-Uzumaki Naruto," said Ino.

Sakura blushed, "No! We haven't even kissed yet."

"Yet so you have almost kissed him," said Ino with a smirk.

"Actually no, but he said that he will take me on a date after he take Hinata," said Sakura.

"Why after Hinata," asked Ino with frown.

"He's not favoriting Hinata over me Ino, Naruto isn't like that," said Sakura with a protective glint in her eyes. Ino saw this was a little surprise, but that all disappeared when she heard a yip, she looked down to see a pair of onyx black were looking back at her.

"What is it?" asked Ino.

"This is Kaito, he is part wolf part fox, a gift from Naruto-kun," answered Sakura, "Come here Kaito." Kaito ran up to Sakura, before jumping and landing on her lap, Sakura look to the clock and say that she was going to be late, "Crap I'm going to be late to meet my team," in a flash Sakura had a backpack on and Kaito in her arms, "Ino-chan could you lock the door for me?"

"Sure Sakura-chan," agreed Ino as Sakura tossed her the keys, "I'll give this back to you later."

"Thanks," then Sakura disappeared through the door. As soon as she exited, she was thrown back as her apartment exploded and went up in flames, "INO!" Kaito got out of her grip and grew to the size of a lion before creating a spear of water around him similar to Suiton: Suirō no Jutsu (Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu) expect that he could move and then he ran into the building. A few ANBU came after a few minutes, then Kaito came with Ino on his back.

"What happened here?" asked the captain of the ANBU team. Kaito placed Ino on the ground before shooting water at the building.

"Stand back!" yelled Sakura as she cleared her friend lungs of smoke and checked for more damage, when she saw nothing, she let out a sigh of relief, Ino had second and third degree burns everywhere, Kaito stopped shooting water at the building as other ANBU member had begun to do it themselves. He walked over to Sakura and Ino and shrunk down to his normal size. His paw glowed green as he began to heal Ino's burns to the best of his abilities.

"Sakura what happened?" asked Shizune as she ran to the girl and animal, who stopped the jutsu and sat down.

"I don't know, Ino had come over to ask if we could spend time, but I had to leave for my genin team, I was on my way out the door when the building blew up, Kaito ran back and brought her out," said Sakura as she watched her friend get taken away by the ANBU.

"Is Kaito alright?" asked Shizune.

"Yes, he's fine, he used a weird jutsu to surround himself in water before going to the building to get Ino, who was knocked out," answered Sakura.

"How did you heal the burn this quick?" asked Shizune, "Hokage-sama and I have trouble healing burns this quickly."

"I had help from Kaito, who appears to also know how to use medical ninjutsu," said Sakura.

"I see, come with me Sakura, we have to finish healing Ino-san of all her wounds," said Shizune.

"There goes my apartment," said Sakura in sadness as she was going to have to find a new place to live, then they left to go to Ino.
