Chapter Fifty-Two: Four Stories
Iida & the Blind Master
U.A. Classroom 1-C
Tenya Iida was done with classes for the day, this was his new routine: go to class, go to Hound Dog, and then go home. If there was a silver lining to it: Ochako being the one to escort him to Hound Dog.
Sessions are usually straightforward.
"Iida, how are you feeling usually, woof?"
"I'm adjusting to General Education... sometimes I wonder if I should still be at this school."
"You're feeling survivor's guilt - woof - still?"
"Correct," said Iida.
"Listen, Iida. It's terrible - woof - that it happened to you. It may sound harsh coming from me but Native knew the risks. On top of that, he was injured already. You shouldn't hold yourself responsible for that."
Iida sighed a bit but spoke. "I'm not sure if that's supposed to help me cope."
"I'm not entirely if this lesson was ever taught to you but it's better to know this and now: you won't be able to save everyone, just the ones you can."
"...right," muttered Iida.
The entire session ended with Iida leaving with the following understanding: saving the ones you can. As he walked through UA's entrance, some weight was lifted off his shoulder, only some.
'I really need to think about this... should I go back to the Heroes Course? It sounds like an obligation the more I think about it...'
As these thoughts were stewing in his head, he bumped into someone...
OOF!
He almost fell to the ground but saved himself, he instantly bowed and apologized while saying: "Oh, I am sorry!"
"It's alright, young man," said the older voice. As Iida pulled his head up, he got a good view of the man: medium-length blue hair, fairly tall, paltry clothes, and a cane for support. However, what made him stand out were his eyes: completely white.
"Oh, you're blind! I apologize once again."
"Just calm yourself, young man. It's not a big thing," said the older man.
"Allow me, it's the least I can do!"
The blind man relented a bit, wondering if he's really a teenager with a salaryman's brain already. As they walked, they talked for a bit, but with introductions obviously.
"Tenya. Iida. U.A. High," the boy said but with the last part sounding a bit forced.
"Isshin. Isshin Narusagi. It seems like you are troubled."
Iida sputtered a bit, wondering how he knew.
"I may be blind but your voice emitted doubt," replied Narusagi.
Iida could only sigh, was he that easy to read? "It is true."
"Mind telling me why?"
It was painful to tell, even with the counseling sessions. However, he knew keeping it bottled up was a worse option. It couldn't hurt to tell this stranger, right? Iida took a couple of breaths and then spilled.
"I almost lost my life giving into vengeance..." the boy said, flashing back to the events, but managed to continue. "...And worst of all, I made one of my friends cry. I almost lost everything."
"...Yet you feel you don't deserve this second chance?"
Iida nodded, saying: "Yes... no. I'm not sure. It will be a while before I can face my friends again."
"Ah, you're at that crossroads?"
"Not only that..." Iida started, then he dropped a bombshell. "I'm not sure if I want to be a hero anymore."
"And why is that, Iida?" Narusagi asked.
"My motivation was to be like my brother but it felt hollow... I can't believe I judged Midoriya harshly prior to the incident with the Hero Killer. I'm sure he still despises me."
"Don't you think you're jumping too far ahead? Everyone makes mistakes, even those who consider themselves diligent."
"... I... know. I just never knew I would fall this hard. Pushing away everyone when I should have-" Iida was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder, like a helpful uncle reassuring his nephew.
"Hmm... you are definitely plagued with doubt and you're unsure of the next step. On one hand, if you want to go back into..."
"Heroics," Iida answered.
"You'll view it as an obligation instead of something you truly want in life. However, if you go down a different route. A lot of what-ifs or could-haves would go through your head, depriving you of fulfillment. Did I hit the nail on that?"
Iida did not need to say a thing.
Narusagi then said: "A wise man did say 'the unexamined life is not worth living.'. Your life as a hero student might be over but that doesn't mean you failed. Failure only means that if you stay there."
As Iida absorbed that, he really thought about that quote... he lived under the rules of others, did he? He never questioned it, just followed everything down to the letter. Was that the type of person he was? Maybe his brother did have a point, he did tell him to loosen up...
'I have been too stringent, I never thought about what I truly wanted in life.' Iida said in his thoughts. He never had this type of conversation before, maybe one or two with his brother, but never... never to this extent and with a stranger.
"Can... no, would you be able to help me?"
Narusagi had a soft smile, responding with: "I think I can. There is one thing I need to clarify, I am not just a traveler, but... the current grandmaster of Nanto Hakuro Ken. One of the Nanto Roku Seiken."
As soon as the word 'Nanto' was mentioned, he tensed up immediately. He clutched his hand in pain, remembering the pain from the Hero Killer Incident.
"N-Nanto?"
"I understand that you're on edge but let's find a place for you to meditate."
Iida exhaled, saying to lead the way.
"I will warn you, it will be one of hardship. Are you prepared for that?"
Iida nodded without a word.
This would be the start of a new but strange friendship...
The day that Iida met the Star of Benevolence.
Kaminari's Nightmare
Kaminari Residence
Sunday.
His only day off. Well, it used to be.
"Come on, little bro. We're doing something a bit different today," Nariko's voice piped up. This caught Denki's attention, wondering what exactly they'll do.
"Like what?"
"A small jog somewhere, then we eat somewhere!"
Kaminari immediately narrowed his eyes, "Who are you, and what you have done with my sister?"
Nariko just rubbed her brother's hair in response, chuckling a bit. "But let's get going."
Several Minutes Later...
Kaminari showered, changed, and put on some casual clothes: yellow shorts, a white short-sleeve shirt, and a pair of sneakers. He did some stretching, loosening up the leg muscles helped, especially for the long runs.
Nariko was wearing a pair of light sweatpants, black in color, and a sleeveless gray shirt. She wasn't much for fashion, mainly for practicality.
"So where are we..." Denki asked but his sister was jogging out the door. Already. "Why do I bother asking..."
As he caught up to Nariko, he was doing a little better... by better, he's not panting as much when he started out.
"Remember, we're gonna take it easy today, Denki."
Nariko's definition of easy was slightly different than the textbook's definition.
A Casual Jog Later...
Denki wondered what the fuck fell under the definition of easy for his sister. He was sure that they jogged at least 4KM, evidenced by the panting and wondering how far from home they actually went. Nariko, on the other hand, despite sweating was showing no signs of slowing down.
"Alright, we are done," Nariko stated. "Oh, hey, Denki. Glad you made it."
"Must... question... how... this..." Denki said, struggling between panting. "Is... this... easy..."
"Well, it's a shorter jog," Nariko said, Denki grimacing in response to her statement.
"... what."
"It was shorter-"
"I'm still trying to comprehend how that was shorter. Then again, I wonder what type of training you did in Singapore... especially on how you became an MMA fighter."
"Well, I'll tell you: Remember that one match we watched on TV, it was between two grapplers. One being a Sambo fighter and the other being a Judoka."
"Oh, right. You were starting high school," Denki, remembering the day.
"On top of that, my Quirk wouldn't be suited for Pro Hero work anyway," Nariko said.
Name: Nariko Kaminari
Quirk: Battery - She's able to absorb electricity which enhances her strength, reflexes, and endurance. However, she does need to recharge after using a substantial amount of energy, otherwise, she becomes a lethargic dope.
"I'm sorry for not telling you about my return, bro."
Denki waves it off, telling her it's not a problem. However, he asks this: "When did you start Judo again?"
"Oh, the first half of middle school. Man, that instructor worked me to the bone, but hey. He was the same guy that recommended me to ALPHA-PRIME," Nariko said, snapping her fingers at the last part.
"How many fights did you have so far?"
"Only a few, that was it."
As Kaminari looked around, he realized where he was: a whole slew of food stands and small joints around. He wondered if it was a weekend event but his sister answered that for him.
"Nah, we're in Wato Square, big marketplace or glorified food court if you want to be accurate."
"So.. any plans to eat?"
"Yup. Saw a seafood joint over there," pointed out Nariko. Her little brother saw where she was pointing and the title... sounds convincing enough.
Quallen Fisheries
"Huh, maybe. Hmm... wonder if-"
"I know how much you like burgers, bro. Would a tuna melt suffice?"
Kaminari nodded, thinking it can't be that bad. Nariko accepted and got on the line. As soon as she went, Kaminari was busy finding a free table. In the span of a few minutes, he found the perfect one: one in the center and made for two people.
"Okay, now to wait..."
It would take a few minutes longer because the line looked a little longer than usual. He was dozing off a bit, but then heard a familiar voice behind him: female, carefree. However, he heard another one: fairly rough-sounding.
"Kaminari...?"
He quickly whips around to see a brown-headed girl and a male next to her, taller, dirty blonde hair, and in casual clothes: knee-length shorts, black sneakers, and a sleeveless shirt.
"Whoa, Uraraka?"
"Oh, hey!" Uraraka waved. "My big brother is showing me this place, told me it's one of the hidden gems!"
"Big brother?" Kaminari said but then it sunk in. The tall person beside her was her older brother but he gave off a different aura: a sleeping demon. He was starting to shiver a bit.
"Kid, you alright?" said the taller male.
"Uhh...y-yea. N-Name's Denki Kaminari. A-A classmate of hers."
As Kiryu raised an eyebrow, he said: "You look a little familiar..." and it clicked. He grabbed Denki by the shirt's collar. "Are you the little shit that tricked my baby sister with that cheerleader stunt of yours?"
"Uhh... in...what way...possible?" Denki responded, still scared of what force he just unleashed. It did not help that the older brother had his fist cocked back, ready to fire. With Kaminari's face being the bullseye.
"...Are you playing dumb? Really?"
The amount of pressure that this guy was giving off was starting to suffocate him, he really hoped-
"Oh, hey, Denki. You won't-wait, what the?!" exclaimed Nariko with a plate of food. "That's my baby brother, get your hands off him!"
"And he perved on my little sister with that cheerleader stunt of his!"
As Nariko placed the plate of food on their table, she looked at Denki, asking: "Wait, what? Explain."
All of the spotlight was on him now, he tried thinking of a way to save himself, especially considering Ochako's older brother might actually slam him through the concrete. Or a telephone pole. It then clicked.
'Sorry, Mineta...'
"Uhh... well... it was... MINETA'S IDEA!" Denki emphasized the last part. "I-I was just forced to... go along with it! Yea... forced to. I was forced to!" as the boy nervously laughed, hoping he would buy it.
"Description?"
"Short, purple bulb-like hair, and has a high voice," quickly explained Denki. In a few seconds, he let go.
"Kiryu, you didn't have to scare my classmate like that," deadpanned Uraraka. Kiryu looked a bit sheepish, blaming his protective brother's instinct.
"Wait a minute..." Nariko muttered to herself. "You look familiar, the dirty blonde hair, the imposing aura... oh shit."
Denki looked at her, wondering-
"Kiryu Uraraka - The Fighting Pegasus and current Featherweight Champion at ALPHA-PRIME."
Kiryu's eyes widen a bit, surprised that someone recognized him, prompting him to ask: "...and you are?"
"Nariko. Nariko Kaminari."
"Wait... you're fairly new. Thunder Heart Brawler. You fought at the Sports Festival's extra round, the Apex Fist Royale..." Kiryu said in a bit of shock. "Apologies, miss. I'm just very protective over my sister."
"Look, it's alright. My brother..." as Nariko looked at him. "... just needs some guidance, that's all."
"Alright then, I can't exactly stay mad at him for too long. Especially since he revealed about this Mineta character."
"Thank you... just give him some time."
Kiryu nodded and motioned that there was a mochi joint at the corner, this made Ochako light up in delight, and so they went. Denki felt his soul return back to his body, he profusely thanked his sister for jumping in at the time.
"Th-That guy would have reduced my face into mincemeat!"
"... there's something you should know about Kiryu," as Nariko was sipping her drink. "He has a bit of a rep in ALPHA-PRIME. Kiryu's one of the more technical fighters but the moment you mention his sister in a derogatory way. All bets are off."
"W-What do you mean?"
"A French asshole by the name of Alain made some... remarks about his sister. He... um... well... " said Nariko, not sure if her little brother was ready to handle this big reveal.
"Uh... just say it. I'm sure he's terrifying either way..." with a grin but Nariko could tell that he was still scared of him.
"Okay..." Nariko replied, taking a deep breath. "Kiryu snapped. Absolutely snapped. He pummeled Alain into a bloody pulp. I was in the stands, I vividly remember it. By the time the bell was rung, you'd think it would be over. Nope, it wasn't. He kept pummelling him until part of the ring was covered in blood."
Nariko had to pause, making Denki realize that the fight really left an impact on her. However, she continued on.
"If he wasn't pulled away, Alain would be six feet under. The scary part? I'm not sure if Kiryu would have stopped."
Denki shook in fear.
That day was the day that Denki feared protective siblings.
Kiryu Uraraka just happened to be the scariest one of all.
Kabuto Learns To Be Social
Oh... crap...
Why.
Why.
Why.
It was supposed to be a simple trip... a simple trip! Why did he did bump into someone!
"H-Hey, Ren. I'm going out to the local store."
"You mean Ragnarock's?"
"No, E-E-Eadu's B-B-Bad Company."
"Ah, gotcha. Getting more material, right?" asked Ren.
"E-Exactly."
"Alright, don't be out too late, Kabuto."
Kabuto nodded as he went out the door, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself.
'You can do this, Kabuto... you can do this...'
Eadu's Bad Company
The whole music store was in front of him and it would be easy.
'Okay, Kabuto. Just remember, look for the type of material that works for the band.'
The red-haired boy was searching for... oh, he found some.
The Alan Parsons Project - I Robot
Tool - 10,000 Days
As soon as he purchased it, he was out the door.
'Okay... this? This can definitely work!' thought Kabuto as he walking back to the apartment...
OOF!
...
"Ow... I'm-wait, what!?" says Kabuto as he sees whom he bumped into: a green-haired girl.
... as it leads to Kabuto's current predicament.
"O, wo hen baoqian! Wo yao zhuyi wo zoulu di difang!" exclaimed the red-haired teen, bowing.
"I'm sorry... what?" said the green-haired girl.
"O-Oh... I'm s-sorry for b-bumping into you," Kabuto said. "I-I was j-just-"
"You seem nervous."
Kabuto nods then turns his head up to see the green-haired girl: she was fairly short, dark green-haired, but the large bow of hair really made him question how long the girl's hair was.
"Uh.. uhh..."
The girl put a finger to her lips, thinking about her next response. "Are you okay?"
Kabuto shot up, saying: "NoI'mfine! I m-mean, I-I'm fine."
Despite Kabuto looking somewhat cold and confident on the surface, he's very shy. With girls, it's much worse. However, the green-haired girl noticed Kabuto's bag with the music store's logo on it.
"Hmm... do you have any recommendations, ribbit?"
"O-Oh, right," Kabuto said, getting less nervous, albeit for a bit. "Uhh... c-classic rock such as A-Alan P-Parsons P-Project and Golden Earring."
The girl nodded and then asked: "Thank you, ribbit. Do you know any other good songs?"
Without a stutter, he answered: "Self-Deception by The Shift, Rock the Casbah by The Clash, and also... Dark Memories by Heavenly." Kabuto also just realized he said a sentence without stuttering. The girl, on the other hand, noticed that the boy's fairly tall. Very much around Yaoyorozu's height.
"What's your name?"
"K-K-Kabuto. N-Nakamura."
"Tsuyu Asui."
As the boy looked at her, he had some things to say but choked up a bit. Crippling shyness be damned.
"Sorry for making you uncomfortable, ribbit."
"I-I-It's alright, I-I'm u-usually the shy type," Kabuto saying that. "Oh, before I-I f-forget," said the boy as he pulled a small paper out of his pocket. Asui took the paper and read it.
"Oh, your band name is San Southern Star? Strange name."
"Uhh... well, our lead vocalist thought we needed a name to make ourselves stand out," all said without a stutter.
"Thank you, ribbit. So the performance will be in a month?"
Kabuto nods, saying thank you in return. As he walked off, he was breathing very heavily, knowing that he talked to a girl for that long, and as a kicker? He didn't stutter through the entire conversation.
A few deep breaths later...
He called up Ren as he found a small park to cool down for a bit.
BRING!
BRING!
"Kabu? Is everything alright?" Ren said.
"I talked to a girl!"
"Oh, that's-wait, what? An actual girl?"
"I managed to have a full conversation!"
Ren noticed the lack of stutter, but let him continue.
"... this country throws another curveball. What did she look like?"
"Short... dark green hair... frog-like but she was cute too."
"Y-You just described her, all without stuttering! Wait, what's different?"
"W-Well, y-you k-know how e-everyone back a-at o-our old school m-made f-fun of me, including the girls?"
"Right... Sishou Academy was a fucking hellhole for you. The girls being nasty to you was the cherry on top," Ren said with a bit of edge.
"She didn't make fun of me. At all."
Ren's eyes widen further, Kabuto wasn't stuttering as he said that. The only time he never, no, minimized the stuttering was when talking about music or when sparring with his grandfather.
"And... you're not stuttering. Even more," Ren said, still in disbelief.
"O-O-Oh... y-you're r-right."
"Relax, Xiongdì. Just make it home."
As soon as he said that, Kabuto hung up the call and made his way back to their apartment. In fact, he made it a little before Gakuto got home.
'Asui rolls off the tongue when I think about it...'
San Southern Star Apartment
Gakuto opened the door, seeing Ren and Kabuto sitting on the couch. The middle one wondering how the triple date went.
"It went better than you think, Ren. Don't worry, I'm taking things slow with Jirou," as Gakuto laid back. However, he noticed Kabuto with his head down but saw that a part of his face was beet red. "Kabu, what's got you beat red?"
Kabuto muttered a bit...
"Kabuto, you mind speaking up?" asked Gakuto.
"M-M-Met a girlwhodidn'tmakefunofme!" exclaimed a beet red Kabuto.
"So... was she cute?"
Ren's eye twitched, saying: "Do you really need to focus on looks?"
Gakuto held his hands in defense, prompting Kabuto to sputter: "W-Well... she was cute."
As Ren pinched the bridge of his nose, he muttered: "How the fuck was I able to survive with you this long is a bigger mystery than the constant hiatus of my favorite mangas," as he finished. "Oh, Kabu, anything else?"
"I-I g-gave her an invite!"
Ren smiled a bit, thinking this will get them a bigger crowd. Gakuto also dropped another bombshell, saying: "Nice one, Kabu. That wasn't the only exciting thing to happen. I managed to meet the new heirs."
Ren slowly turned his head towards the brown-haired boy, asking: "Heirs to who?"
"Twin heirs of Hokuto. Hokuto Shinken and Hokuto Ryuken."
In a split moment, Ren stood up with worry on his face, and saying: "Wait, what?! Hokuto? You mean-did they try attacking or harming you? You remember the last time your style and theirs clashed!"
"Yea, yea, yea," Gakuto waved off Ren's worries. "To answer your question, would wounding their pride with high-quality Chinese food count?"
Ren made an exasperated sigh, muttering the following as he face-palmed, "I... fucking guess so..."
"Well, I can definitely say that things are going to be more exciting here than I thought," Gakuto responded with a grin.
Kirishima's Wham Episode
U.A. High
When Midoriya told him and the rest of the group that All-Might believed that he was better off in General Education, the redhead was very disappointed. Out of all the heroes, the Symbol of Peace was the last one he expected to say that.
Classes after that were uneventful but the one thought that was still in his head: Assassin's Fist. Something that should be fictional but lo and behold, Midoriya dropped that bombshell on them. To say it shocked him would be an understatement.
The end of the day would be a good chance to ask. As soon as the final bell rang, he wanted to ask Midoriya or Todoroki more questions about it. However, he bumped into Kendo instead.
"Oh, Kirishima. How are-lemme guess, more questions?"
The redhead nodded yes.
"Well, let's head to somewhere a bit more private," as Kendo looked around. "Okay, no one overheard."
Kirishima understood the need for privacy, nothing screams a red flag more than the topic of assassination fist, and as they were walking... Kirishima spoke up.
"You... don't think our classmates would jump to conclusions, right? Right?"
"I'm not... entirely sure," Kendo responded, unsure herself too. As they talked, they reached their destination: a corner outside of the school's entrance. He wondered how was this supposed to be more private. If anything, it was-
"Alright, any questions?"
'Oh, right now.'
"Uh... well. The whole thing about Nanto Seiken, I'm guessing it's not the only one of its kind, right?"
Kendo took a deep breath. "It's not... You remember the promise: not to reveal it to anyone else."
Kirishima nodded, muttering it's unmanly to break a promise like that. Kendo sighed a bit but at least the redhead was genuine about it.
"My style's called Gourai-Ryu. It strikes multiple pressure points over the course of a fight but that's just the surface, in fact, I'll demonstrate it," as soon as Kendo finished. She held up her hand and it glowed!
Kirishima stepped back in surprise, yes, he saw it at the Sports Festival, but seeing it again? Up close? How could he not be surprised?
"O-Oh shit, that's real?!"
"Yes. It is. It does have an origin though. It lies within an ancient style, Seito Gekken, but luckily it was handed down to my grandfather's master before he passed. Granddad did mention his name was Kanso Rofumi, but the guy himself was a bit of an enigma. However, he made mentions of fighting in underground tournaments."
"Wait, wait. Your grandpa's master not only was his predecessor but also an underground fighter too?" said Kirishima in a bit of disbelief. "Manly..."
"... I think Rofumi rubbed off on my grandpa too much," Kendo said with a sigh, remembering the hand conditioning methods... it sent a shiver down her spine. "My hand still aches..."
"Is there an origin story to Seito Gekken?"
Kendo should have known this was coming but decided to reveal a huge part of it: "It uses the same pressure point system as Midoriya's style but one distinction: it functions more on the battlefield. On top of that, there's some tragedy to it."
Kendo's grandfather would lecture her about this later.
"What?!"
"One of the apprentices for Seito Gekken was also the founder of Hokuto Shinken," Kendo said before taking a deep breath. "I only hope you don't jump to conclusions, alright?"
Kirishima nodded.
"The apprentice's name was Shuken. It was around the fall of the Han Dynasty, he combined the pressure point system along with his family's style. All to create the ultimate assassin's fist. However, there was a cost..."
"What was it?"
"Shuken eliminated every Seito Gekken disciple, even his lover. Who was pregnant with his child."
Kirishima had to do a double-take, asking: "P-Pregnant? B-But why? This Shuken learned all of it, but why kill-"
"The world at the time was a very chaotic place. The fall of the Han Dynasty was instigated by vying warlords, power struggles, and the barbarian hordes."
"Why... couldn't he-"
"No. He did not want any of the techniques to fall into anyone else's hands. Imagine all those techniques in the hands of someone like Stain."
"... no. It was damned if he did or damned if he didn't. There was no other way, was it?" Kirishima responded, voice sounding distraught. Did Shuken really have no choice in the matter?
"In Shuken's own words, he said: 'I must become a demon... for peace to be restored to this chaotic world...'. I'm not sure how he felt, but he definitely suffered as he went through with it," as Itsuka's voice became heavy, the story behind it not lessening its impact in any shape or form.
"He was terrified of the power it possessed... is that right?"
"Yes, but it was all to bring peace... except he had to carry sorrow on his shoulders for the rest of his days..."
"I'm a little terrified to ask," Kirishima said with some fear. "What was Shuken's ultimate goal?"
"To create the ultimate assassin's fist," Itsuka paused. "... a fusion of Seito Gekken and Shuken's style, Hokuto Soke no Ken. The name of that style is... Hokuto Shinken."
As soon as she said those words, Kirishima dropped to the floor on his rear, shocked at this revelation. Despite not being the most academically gifted, he's far from stupid. As he remembered the USJ Incident, specifically how Midoriya fought the Nomu, it fucking clicked.
"... No. No. It can't be," as Kirishima looked up to Itsuka, daring her to tell him that he's wrong. With a sad nod, she confirmed it.
The fast-paced striking. The pressure points. The aura. The athleticism.
He couldn't deny it, the proof was in front of him. Kendo was just Evidence B.
"You don't think..."
"You can say it."
"You don't think he'll become a killer down the road, right?" Kirishima said, laced with worry.
However, Kendo didn't have an easy answer. "I'm not... sure, I admit."
"I'm worried about Ashi-"
Kirishima was interrupted by Kendo wrapping her arms around him, attempting to calm him down. "However, that shouldn't stop us from trying to help him. Alright?"
The boy nodded, agreeing.
Kirishima gained an understanding on this day and it was from Itsuka Kendo, the class president of 1-B, 1-A's supposed rival.
Author's Notes: Yea, I'm using more Chinese, but hey, it's more accurate [thanks DeepL and DuoLingo]. Don't worry, Rofumi's just a minor character, he's just mentioned in passing. The kanji for his name is so: 'complete', 'spear', 'hazy', 'history'.
The masters I introduced in Ch. 23 were there for a reason.
On top of that, Iida's now a Nanto Seiken student [cue reviewers saying that shouldn't happen]. Before anyone jumps to conclusions about Kirishima's part [I know someone's going to], the whole story is from Ch. 169 & Ch. 234-238 of Souten no Ken AKA Fist of the Blue Sky.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I should have watched where I was walking! = O, wo hen baoqian! Wo yao zhuyi wo zoulu di difang!
