Midcompany...

"So this is Midcompany..." Kallen looked around the abandoned facility, worn down with moss and small sections of grass growing on the sides.

The nun realized she was falling behind, before catching up with the rest of the group.

"I wonder who Uni lost to..." Gris pondered, imagining who exactly could best a CPU Candidate.

"Well, we'll rule out ordinary monsters for the sake of plausibility and her pride as a goddess." Vergo crossed out the least likely answer.

"Then that leaves only a couple of other options. Like a stronger monster," Nisa contributed.

"Perhaps. But we won't know for sure until we find Uni, and ask her." IF told the superheroine.

"Uni..." Nepgear thought about the state of her fellow goddess.

"Why did they pick here to fight?" Domio questioned. "Wouldn't it be really hard to move around with all of these narrow hallways and obstacles?" He imagined the goddess being hard-pressed for mobility.

"That's the neat thing, Domio. It's the point." Nebula told the warlock.

"It is?" This elicited a confused response.

"Uni's a gunner, so lots of obstacles like crates and rubble provide plenty of flimsy yet abundant cover to camp/snipe her opponents." The blue GPU told his foster son.

"But what if her opponent is a close-range type? Wouldn't she be shit outta luck if he just closes the gap and attacks her outright?" Vergo interjected.

"That's only if he has agility on his side. If so, then it's no wonder that Uni was defeated since she faced her near-perfect counter." Gris replied to the blonde's question.

"So, if he was slow, she'd win?" 5pb. inquired.

"Of course, being a monolith isn't gonna do any good against full auto, especially from someone like Uni." The dark GPU said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Seems like you're confident in her skills, Mister Gris." Compa took notice of the assassin's attitude toward the gun-toting goddess.

"I'm aware of her skills, Compa. She's divine as am I, so it's only fitting we Lastation deities are held to a certain standard above the rest." The hitman lauded his place amongst the gods and goddesses.

"That standard isn't very high if one of your Lastationite goddesses got vibe checked in a run-down factory repurposed as a dungeon," AL added to the conversation.

"AL, be nice. We don't even know if Uni fought someone like that." Nepegear halted any more slander from the martial artist.

"And you could only say something like that if you manage to beat the opponent that Uni lost to, y'know." Ram gave the fire user a cross look.

"I know... But it makes for a decent conversation while we look for her." AL told the child CPU Candidate.

"We've been here for a while... Where is she?" Rom took notice of the time that the party had been investigating the gun goddess' whereabouts.

"... I think I see someone over there." The alchemist pointed her gloved finger.

"They're sprawled out like it's their bed." MAGES. also took note of how they were positioned.

"I think that's Uni, judging from the outfit." Squinting his eyes, Nebula pinpointed the dusty outfit.

"That's Uni?! Uni!" Nepgear ran ahead of the group, sliding to the ground where the unconscious CPU Candidate was.

"Hey dummy, wake up when someone calls your name!" Ram shouted.

"Please wake up..." Rom pleaded with the tsundere.

Compa checked her vitals, doing a quick check-up on the unconscious goddess to ensure that any serious damage was not present on her body.

"Her pulse is stable and she looks fine. She's just unconscious. I'll use my mad nursing skills to wake her up!" The Nurse-In-Training told the group, before doing just that.

After a couple of minutes with Compa fiddling with her medical equipment and applying her practices, the black CPU Candidate began to stir.

"Urgh..." Tensing, Uni slowly returned to the realm of consciousness.

"Uni! Are you alright?" The purple CPU Candidate checked on the Lastationite goddess.

"Nepgear?... When did you... Oww..." Uni held her head, the pain still present from her previous confrontation.

"Please don't make any sudden movements. While you're not severely injured, you should take it easy." Compa told the CPU Candidate.

"I-I'm fine. It's just a flesh wound." The goddess told the nurse, attempting to get up.

"Ouch!"

Yet the pain from her wound made Uni use her firearm as a cane at the last moment before she fell back down.

"It's best if you dropped that tough girl act," IF told the Lastationite CPU Candidate. "So who'd you fight? For you to lose, I have to assume it was somebody strong." The brunette told her.

"But it's not like I lost outright! We were neck and neck, he just hit me while I was reloading." Uni made an excuse for defeat, easily transparent to the real issue.

"Uni, if that excuse doesn't work in an FPS, it doesn't work in real life." The edge lord narrowed his eyes at the girl.

"Tch..." She looked away, knowing that Gris' words were true.

"So who was it? Who did you fight?" Vergo inquired.

"CFW Brave, or at least that's what he called himself. One of ASIC's leaders, although he seemed more chivalrous than I expected from their organization." The tsundere goddess admitted.

"CFW... Like that guy that ate us!" Ram recalled.

"What." Uni's face scrunched in perplexity.

"CFW Trick. A nasty but important leader in ASIC's ranks." Kallen told the CPU Candidate.

"And you all defeated him?" Uni looked to the party.

"Well, we helped but..." Nebula looked at the blonde CPU Candidate in reference.

"Vergo strong-armed him in the middle of the woods until he died horribly." Domio blurted out the death of the ASIC bigwig.

"It was still a group effort to chase after him, so in the end we all worked together." Nepgear smiled, unaware of the brutal death of the monster.

"I-I see..." Uni looked at the Leanboxian CPU Candidate. "That's pretty impressive for a human." She told her fellow CPU Candidate before turning to the bloke in question.

"About that..." The brunette Guild Agent gave the blonde a look.

"Yeah, no." Vergo shook his head.

"Huh?" Tilting her head, she looked between the two.

"I'm a CPU." The time traveler told her.

TRIP!

That revelation made her fall, only to be caught by Gris.

"Whoops. Don't get weak knees because Virgin is god status." The edge lord ribbed, helping the goddess to her feet.

"Piss off." Grumbled the blondie.

"That's the second guy this week that can do that..." Mumured the CPU Candidate with exasperation.

"Second?" Rom asked innocently.

"Don't you mean third?" Ram corrected.

"Heheh. Don't tell her Gris can do it too." He whispered to the pink twin, who sweatdropped at the information coming a bit too late.

"Who?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Nobody." The man of the moment responded, letting go of her upon realizing she was on to him.

"We can head back now that we have Uni," Nepgear told the party.

"This isn't an ideal recovery location since monsters might attack us if we linger." Gust brought up a very good point.

Uni remained quiet whilst following the party, still thinking about the events that transpired before Nepgear and her friends appeared.

Lastation City...

"Did anyone notice how discouraged Uni was when we found her?" Nepgear asked no one in particular.

"She's just a competitive little brat. I'm sure us getting her to admit she lost in front of you crippled her ego.

"Relatable, honestly. If Nebula found me face down in the dirt, I'd rather be left for dead than endure his heckling." Gris shuddered at the thought.

"Death before dishonor?" AL gave a snide look.

"Fumeiyo no mae no shi." (Death before dishonor.)

Gris nodded, a stony look on his features.

"You made it sound like a Lastation slogan or something." Nebula looked at the serious aura surrounding the assassin.

"Is it not? Taking pride in what you do is a staple of this country." The hitman returned a response.

"But for the cost of your life is a bit much, don't you think?" Kallen asked the cleaner. "Perhaps there are things that do not need such dire conditions." She continued.

"I don't think you should be that committed to it, but I can understand where she's coming from," Nepgear told Gris.

"I was pretty depressed when I lost at the graveyard for a long time." She continued.

"You're both such limp-wristed wimps. Don't whine and cry over one defeat… That's what my big sister told me." Ram told the purple CPU Candidate, relaying Blanc's advice.

"I'd be depressed, too." Rom sympathized with Nepgear.

"Rom, you're a baby, so you're allowed to be sad and cry. Well, as long as you're with me, you'll never lose." Yet her sister reassured her sister's hypothetical woes.

"Depression is a waste of energy." Dismissed the manslayer. "Fix your problems, not wallow in them.

He continued.

"That's rather insensitive." Vergo furrowed his brows.

"The only thing that matters in this world are the results, Virgin. The process is simply an intermediary. By hook or crook, if it works with minimal drawbacks, it works case-and-point." Gris stood on business.

"Even if it's illegal?" Nisa gasped. "But that's so amoral." She became cross with the white-haired GPU.

"Morality and efficiency rarely coincide." A flat tone from the assassin was her answer. "Same with evolution and ethics, taxes and salaries, and free time with double shifts." The hitman continued.

"Considering your job, I expected something worse for our worldview," Domio admitted.

"What IS your job?" IF became suspicious.

"That is confidential information." Gris gatekept without hesitation.

"I am not legally obligated to inform you of its contents unless my lawyer is present." A politically correct answer was given to the Guild Agent.

"I'm gonna run a background check on you once this is all over." She told the assassin with a stern look.

"It's like all of you divine gods have questionable backstories and origins." The Guild Agent shook her head from Vergo and Gris' conspicuous histories.

"Nuh-uh." Nebula shook his head. "I'm squeaky clean. My permanent record is untainted." He smiled.

"So whatever happened with Compa is suddenly uncounted?" IF gave a raised brow, a small smirk accompanying the gesture.

"E-Eh..." Said Nurse-In-Training became bashful, not knowing how to respond to such a point from IF.

"Hey! I had very virtuous intentions each time. You just assumed the worst, per usual." The blue GPU grimaced.

'Did you reallly?... Hmhmhmhm...' A dark chuckle echoed from the recesses of Nebula's mind.

'Yes. Because you were responsible for what happened the second time.' The GPU internally grumbled.

'And the first?' Aluben inquired.

'Not my fault there was a thunderstorm.' Nebula shut down.

'Feh... I'm gonna read shit from your embarrassing moments folder, you pussy.' Wandering off into the recesses of the blue-haired GPU's mind, he finally regained some quiet.

"C-Can we not talk about that, Iffy...?" Compa urged her best friend, still embarrassed about the last time she and Nebula were sharing a room.

"Oh, right." IF realized how uncomfortable she was making her friend, before dropping the subject.

"Emergency! Dogooders assemble!" Nisa shouted.

"It's another amber alert!" Gust frantically told the group.

"Who's missing?" AL raised his brow.

"Uni! She disappeared while we weren't looking!" Kallen told the martial artist.

"No wonder she didn't say a single line of dialogue this entire conversation!" Slamming his fist into his hand, it clicked for Nebula.

"That's how you noticed she wasn't there?" Vergo deadpanned.

"The party is pretty big, so it's actually kind of easy for her to slip away without a hitch." Domio pointed out.

"That's... Actually a pretty good point." MAGES. blinked with the realization of her pupil's observation.

"Uni... But why did you leave?" Nepgear grew worried.

"So dramatic... Let's spread out and search for her. We'll use our numbers to our advantage." IF crafted a plan to find the CPU Candidate.

"Right." The party unanimously responded.

Dungeon...

Uni found herself in the midst of a dungeon she didn't quite recall. Not that she cared to, at the moment.

It was surrounded by cybernetic streams of energy within strings of numbers ranging from 0 to 9, with holographic platforms and other futuristic landmarks.

She was downtrodden, especially after her defeat by CFW Brave.

What am I doing...?" She spoke, looking down at her feet.

Water collected at the corners of her eyes, the emotions she felt piling up with some time alone to herself.

"What have I been doing all this time." She told herself, with more sadness present in her voice.

The CPU Candidate tried her hardest to bring down her opponent, yet her strength was not enough to do so.

"I couldn't beat that one opponent, and now look at me..." She basked in her inferiority, feeling the effects of humiliation wash over her.

"Am I really cut out for this? Or was Noire right about me?" She reflected on what her older sister had told her before she left for the Gamindustri Graveyard.

"Uni?..." A familiar voice could be heard from the distance.

"Where are you, Uni?" Added a memetic second.

"Uni, stop sulking and let's talk about this!" An anglo-saxian third.

"If you call for her like a lost puppy, do you honestly think she'll come back if she ran away from us?" A cynical fourth voice asked.

The Lastation CPU Candidate quickly rubbed the tears from her eyes, trying to save what little face she had left once noticing others were approaching.

"Well, I sensed that she was here, Grease Trap." Nebula's voice became clearer. "So you only get to talk shit if I sensed a mob or something." He carried on.

"The proof is in the pudding, or at least that's what Neptune would say." Negear's voice also became tangible.

"Pretty sure she's got the stuff for brains." A cheeky comment from Vergo's voice.

"So this confirms smooth-brained Neptune?" Gris wryly added an ascending inflection that made the others either laugh or in Nepgear's case...

"Don't look down on sis. She's smart... Every so often." The Planeptunian goddess's attempt to defend her sister's intelligence did not go so well.

"I'll believe it when I see it." All three gods unanimously answered, blankly at that.

"Nebula, you of all people shouldn't be saying that so lightly." Deciding to pick an easy target, the purple sister chose the meme lord.

"Er... Hey, Uni!" Switching the subject, the GPU waved at the gun-toting goddess who tried to act as if she hadn't listened in on their conversation.

"Huh, guess he was correct. A wise decision not to bet Credits." Gris muttered, avoiding AL's folly.

Uni turned away, folding her arms within th standard parameters of the tsundere stance.

"Uni! Please come back with us." Nepgear pleaded with the girl.

"..." Yet Uni remained unresponsive.

"We're worried about you. I'm worried about you..." The second sentence was murmured under her breath, but the superior hearing of everyone present allowed it to be heard.

"...!" And this was shown by the Lastationite CPU slowly turning her head.

"Just... Leave me alone, Nepgear." Uni responded, her depressive tone evident. "It's not like I asked you to worry about me." She continued.

"No." Nebula shook his head. "That's not what friends do, Uni." He pressed on the subject.

"Friends, huh..." She turned to face the group. "To me, it looks like Nepgear has her fair share of friends as opposed to me being all by myself," Uni observed.

"Don't be a smartass. You know that you left the party after we took you out of that dungeon." The meme lord countered.

"It doesn't even matter, anyway. Nobody would bat an eye if I fell off the face of the earth." Sounding defeated, Uni laughed at her own misery, sounding pathetic as she did so.

Nepgear's face became a mix of shock and worry at those words.

Nebula's, on the other hand...

"How dare you say that!" He snapped, his gaze hardened and features sharp.

"H-Huh?!" Uni recoiled, alongside Nepgear with comical eyes.

"The Uni I met at Rebeat Resort would never say that in a million years...! So what's gotten into you?..." His voice started with an edge, yet softened as he reached his second sentence.

The GPU's eyes grew concerned, melting away from his initial flame.

"Why do you wanna know? I'm useless the way I am now." She sighed with wavering spirit.

"Because all of us are here for you." He told the tsundere sister of Noire. "Nepgear and I have known you the longest out of anyone here." A fact was stipulated in the conversation.

"And I know that if it's this bad, that you won't even tell us what's going on deep inside..." He paused.

"...We won't stop looking for you until you tell us. You can run all over Gamindustri, we'll catch up and ask again and again until that burden's off your chest!" He put his hands by his sides, before giving the CPU Candidate a cross look.

Looking at the blue GPU, Uni felt a tinge of something warm from within her chest.

This feeling felt almost familial, if not just shy of it.

Nebula acted as if he were a persistent sibling, prying to find and help solve her problems.

It reminded the gun-toting goddess of her own sister.

Taking a deep breath, she exhaled.

"... I lost." She spoke.

"Obviously." Gris rolled his eyes.

"Shut up! I'm not done yet." Uni barked at the edge lord.

"... I wanted to take down the enemy that defeated my big sister. But I lost before I could even make it that far." The goddess closed her eyes.

"All my effort has b-been for nothing..." Her words slightly stuttered with a sniffle.

"From someone who does everything by themselves, you weren't going to defeat that opponent on your own," Gris interjected.

"What do you mean?" Uni opened her eyes, before gazing at the assassin.

"In life, there are some things you simply cannot do alone. Fighting can be one of those things." The hitman told her. "As a fellow Lastationite, I feel as if it's some sort of civic duty to tell you that, Uni." He finished his sentence, with

"The only reason I'm alive today is because of that blue bastard and that burnt match back in Lastation." He pointed to Nebula, before pointing in the general direction of where Lastation resided.

"I see." The black-haired goddess responded.

"And even if you don't think it is," Vergo added himself to the conversation, Uni looking to him.

"Take it from someone who has carried a burden similar to yours, love." Relating to how Uni felt right now with how he felt in the future, the time traveler felt as if he had something useful to contribute.

"It will always be more difficult, more stressful, more painful, more of anything that will hinder you when you do it by your lonesome." He remembered the trials of survival against the VPUs.

"If not for my friends, I too would not be able to speak to you today. So take my words and heed them for your sake, Uni." The blonde CPU Candidate nodded.

"O-Oh." She internalized that half of the group that spoke with her wouldn't be speaking to her if not for the power of friendship.

"I'm grateful that you guys are here to speak to me about this," Uni told the two gods, who nodded silently.

"But it's just that ever since Noire left, I've been lonely." The goddess admitted, her tsundere shell breaking down.

"I thought if I tried hard enough, I'd succeed. But I was a fool to think I could fill in my sister's shoes." She smiled, her face façading as realization but her eyes reflecting misery to the divine quartet.

"Uni..." Nepgear called, the concern clear in the purple goddess' eyes.

"Isn't it funny, and sad, you guys? I was trying my best at something that was simply out of my league... Some CPU Candidate I am." She laughed.

"Nuh-uh!" Nebula shook his head before wagging his finger comically.

"That's not true!" Nepgear defied her statement, before continuing.

"Bullocks!" Vergo shouted, his face becoming serious.

"..." A rare look of disheartening appeared on Gris' face.

Uni grew shocked at the amount of opposition to her words of self-deprecation.

"I'm the same way. I know that I'm not able to fill in Neptune's shoes." The purple goddess began. "So that's why I'm going to do something she's never attempted before."

"I must do it no matter what! I have to save our sisters!" Conviction radiated from the optimistic goddess.

"Save our sisters..." The red eyes of Uni became filled with curiosity and life, unlike their state moments before.

"But I can't do it alone. That's why I have Nebula, Gris, and Vergo to help me out." She gestured to the trio of deities.

"IF, Compa, Rom, Ram, you, and all of my other friends." She closed her eyes, thinking of all of her allies.

"If we work together, nothing is impossible! We can pull it off if we believe in ourselves." She continued with a bright look of determination.

"You... Called me your friend." She was in awe of the inclusion.

"THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP IS UNDEFEATED! Don't you get that, Uni?" A boisterous claim before a cheeky question was raised from the blue GPU.

"We're here because we're your friends." A soft look of pleasure in the form of a bright smile was shown.

"Simple as that." He chuckled.

"Too bad that it will not be as simple to realize that dream of yours." Another voice cut into the conversation.

"?!" Nebula, Gris, and Vergo simultaneously swiveled their heads to the sound of the new voice.

"Who's there?!" Nepgear asked.

The two CPU Candidate sisters turned until they saw just exactly who the males were focused on.

The figure was incredibly tall, several meters in size. Resembling Ga*gaig*r in frame. he had a color scheme that reminded some of the deities of B*rbat*s with white, blue, red, and gold. With yellow shining eyes, his head composed itself of pointed parts.

His shoulders had white guards with designs similar to controller buttons with a wing-like part with a drill per side. Alongside two cannons strapped onto his back, his chest was ordained with the face of a golden lion biting a portable game console.

His hands had claws hanging off of his wrist with blue leg guards ornamented with something similar to a controller as well.

But in his left hand, he held a flaming red sword, which most likely served as his primary weapon.

"CFW Brave... It's him!" Uni's previous demeanor washed away, facing her previous opponent.

"So this is the guy." Nebula cracked his fingers, a confident smirk.

"I think I've seen him in a mech anime before." Vergo scratched his head.

"Have you?" Nepgear turned to the blonde.

"Yuusha-oh Gao... Can't remember the name right now." Shrugged the blondie before looking back to the CFW.

"So you're the one who managed to turn Uni into that." Gris raised his brows in acknowledgment.

"H-Hey! Don't bring that up now!" Her eyes became comical saucers with the tsundere shouting at the edge lord's comment.

"Fortune smiles upon me, for I have found two of the world's CPU Candidates in a single place." The mecha noted.

"I take no joy in wanton slaughter. Should you surrender at once, I will allow you to leave this place with your lives." CFW Brave gave an offer, a sign of chivalry from an unlikely place.

"We won't give up! You're standing on the road we have to take to save our sisters, so we'll make you move!" Nepgear refused.

"I believe you know well my strength. Had the outcome of our duel not already been decided?" CFW Brave asked the Lastationite goddess.

"W-Well..." Uni faltered.

"Don't let his words discourage you, Uni! We're here with you. If we fight together, we will defeat him!" Nepgear's spirit turned with the will to defeat the CFW.

"Fight together... Hmph." She shook her head.

"Jeez, Nepgear. You sure do like to make things sound more dramatic than necessary." A knowing ssmirk appeared on the girl's face.

"But you're right. I-... WE can't lose. We'll never lose to someone like you ever again!" The spark of resolution returned to Uni's eyes as she stared down the massive mecha.

"Yeah, you tell him!" Cheered the bright CPU Candidate.

"Very well. I commend your audacity, however…" CFW Brave raised his blade. "I will be the one to teach you that actions, not words, carry the strength to shape one's desires!" He shouted with equal conviction.

"Besides... What difference will a couple more souls change in terms of the outcome?" A tint of bravado was felt in the parting comment.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Nebula, Gris, and Vergo unanimously stated.

PILLAR!

TRANSFORM!

Three pillars of light rose to the heavens from each of the males, digital numbers circulating their person before dissipating.

"Impossible!" CFW Brave gripped his sword tightly.

"N-No way... You too, Gris?" Uni was shocked at the outcome.

Brave Heart cracked his neck with a taunting smile to the mecha.

Future Heart summoned his lance before using it as an armrest, leaning on it while eyeing the opponent.

Edge Heart simply winked at the Lastation CPU Candidate before twirling his scythe at the CFW.

That made the CPU Candidate blink with a slight shade of red on her cheeks before recomposing herself.

"See Uni, we can take him down no matter what he says! Access!"

PILLAR

TRANSFORM!

Words of encouragement from Nepgear before her transformation were uttered, Purple Sister looking at the twin-tailed tsundere with a hopeful look.

"Right!"

PILLAR

TRANSFORM!

Uni followed suit, transforming into Black Sister.

"We're going to win!" Uni declared, her blaster pointed at the mecha of ASIC.

"Come!"

BOOST!

CFW Brave readied his sword before rushing the group of five deities.

"Misguided Paladin"

CFW Brave

DESTINY AWAITS!

Swinging his sword, it lit ablaze before cutting through the air to reach any one of the CPUs and GPUs present.

Yet his blade never reached.

It rattled in the air, unable to move further to the group.

"Baro Barrier." Nebula stuck out his palm, with an invisible field of gravity preventing the boss-level threat from reaching them.

"Repulsion!" The blue GPU shouted.

PUSH!

The dome of gravity expanded, repulsing the mecha who used his feet thrusters to fight back against the fundamental force's power.

"Rapid Rapture!"

BLAST-BLAST-BLAST!

BLAST-BLAST-BLAST!

BLAST-BLAST-BLAST!

From the same outstretched hand, the martial GPU let off a chain of consecutive orange KI blasts in the CFW's direction.

SLASHSLASHSLASH!

SLASHSLASHSLASH!

SLASHSLASHSLASH!

CFW Brave swung his sword, deflecting the blasts with speed unexpected from such a large opponent with no wasted movement in his maneuvers.

EXPLOSIONS!...

The deflected blasts exploded all around the battlefield, causing the ground to shake from the wayward attacks.

"Jūryoku Hadōken!"

BLAST!

A pale blue blast launched forward from the deity's hands, rippling through the air as it did so.

"Mega Slash!"

SLICE!-

BA-KOOM!...

The mecha of ASIC countered with his own attack, although with some resistance.

The attack exploded violently behind him, causing the side of his body facing away from the light to darken, leaving only his glowing eyes staring at the party.

"He's tougher than Judge, I'll give him that." Brave Heart admitted, after a few moves to test the mettle of his opponent.

"He was the weakest of our organization. His bloodlust left him behind for the honing of finer skill." CFW Brave told his opponent.

"Really...?" Purple Sister gripped her sword.

"If that is the case, then it's my turn." Edge Heart got into a stance.

Z-Z-ZOOM!

The GPU kicked off the floor before repeating the action once he materialized from a line of black, zigzagging around the robot's position.

Brave held his blade, his eyes tracking the ludicrous speed exhibited by the Lastationite god although his yellow eyes showed anything but.

CLANG!-

PHASE!...

The clashing of his scythe with the mecha's blade echoed, sparks flying into the air before vanishing into thin air.

-APPEAR!

CLANG!

Reappearing at CFW Brave's flank, his scythe was brought down from above. Yet the mecha was fast enough to swing his bade and parry with a confrontational slash that caused more sparks to scatter.

ZOOM!-

BZZZT!

Using the pressure of the clashing blades, Edge Heart launched himself into the air before holding his scythe above his head.

"Static Slash!"

DIVE...!

Instead of launching an arc of energy, he kept the crackling energy concentrated on his weapon with the edge glowing yellow with power as he plummeted.

FWAASH!

CFW Brave Heart took the challenge before igniting his blade in the flames of his will, an upward slash to suit the deity's descending attack.

CLASH!-

KA-BOOM!

The resulting collision of weapons caused a large explosion, creating a powerful gust of wind from their attacks colliding which caused the divine beings to brace themselves within the shock.

R-R-RATTLE!...

Edge Heart's hands shook with strength, his scythe rattling against CFW Brave's sword which also shook with intensity. The two warriors gridlocked during their physical contest.

BFFT!

They soon separated with the mecha sliding back before the deity used his temporal ability to return to the party of benevolent immortals.

"Lord Virgin, tis your turn." The spiky-haired deity bowed.

"Even in HDD..." Grumbled the CPU Candidate, before sighing.

"Soru."

VANISH!...

Stomping off the ground, the travel speed of the CPU Candidate exponentially increased to the point that he became lines of black and green.

In a circular motion, he started to sprint around the mecha. The velocity that Vergo traveled was fast enough to create a vortex of air around the CFW with the surrounding environment mimicking the circulation of the more intense origin.

CHIP!...

TEAR!...

RIP!...

The winds within the vortex began to cut away at the mecha with scraps of his outer hull ripping off with extended exposure to the attack that the time-traveling CPU executed.

The CFW wouldn't just stand there and let Future Heart gain frame advantage, but he would rush to a place he'd predict the CPU being before swinging his blade.

SWING!-

-WOOSH!

Although he'd hit the god in any other circumstance, the green-haired CPU Candidate suddenly disengaged.

'Kenbusoshoku really is handy...' The deity mentally remarked.

SLIDE...!

Skidding to a halt, he pointed his lance at the rotating mass of wind energy.

"Apex Torrent!"

BLAST!

A green blast flew into the winds, before enhancing its already dangerous properties into a green spinning mass of destruction as CFW Brave endured the damaging winds.

"Circular Slash!"

A voice was heard from within the attack, catching the time traveler's attention.

BOOM!...

Slicing the vortex into nothingness proved difficult, but not impossible for one of the strongest leaders of ASIC. The reverberating sound of his swing could be heard with the emergence of his scratched yet optimal hull.

Using his aerokinesis, Future Heart leaped ahead with the help of his kinesis to slingshot himself forward.

"Whirlwind Zephyr!"

SWIRL!...

His lance suddenly manifested a swirl of air around it with increased proximity to the CFW.

...THRUST!

The mechanical opponent wordlessly reeled his sword arm back before driving the weapon forward in a piercing motion.

"Melting Point!"

SCHWING!...

The pinnacles of both weapons met at a singular point, many sparks flying from the collision.

BLAZE!

Yet as it did so, Future Heart's weapon started adapting to the flames emitted from Brave's weapon. The spirals of wind became ignited with flame in a matter of seconds.

CHING!-

The time traveler's lance coated itself in a black shade, the color scheme darkening including the glove that Future Heart wore on his weapon arm.

-CLING!...

CFW Brave redirected the attack's momentum by flicking the point of the CPU's lance into the air.

Thus leaving the green-haired deity vulnerable.

"You're open!"

SLICE!-

CFW Brave shouted, before bringing down his sword in a diagonal manner.

"Aero!"

FWOOSH!

Using his free hand, the green CPU Candidate charged his spell and grabbed the fiery blade as it fell upon his body.

Angling his fingers so that the fold between his thumb and index was struck, he released the magical technique with it mimicking a flamethrower in a twist of events.

"Tsk!"

The valiant CFW used the broadside of his blade to mitigate some damage, yet most of his body still suffered the intense heat of his own sword.

Backflipping into several handstands, the divine time traveler returned to the group of four.

"Used my turn." The green CPU Candidate told the party.

"How did Vergo deal the most damage so far?" Brave Heart sounded impressed by what could be perceived as an envious comment.

"Perhaps he's not as green as we are led to believe." Edge Heart made a double entendre with a small grin.

"Har har." A dry laugh from the time-traveling CPU Candidate was accompanied by a huff. "Now that we've tested the waters..." His vision switched its focus.

"How about you darlings get a go at 'im?" Future Heart gazed at the CPU Candidates.

Purple Sister and Black Sister exchanged a brief look before glancing back at the Leanboxian CPU.

"Let's do this, Uni!"

FLY!

"On it, Nepgear!"

WOOSH!

The processors of the CPU Candidates glowed before they took off toward the large adversary.

Purple Sister reeled her blade, fast approaching the mecha who mirrored her action.

BOOM!-

"Kya!"

"Hrng!..."

Their blades crossed, Nepgear being blown back from the force with CFW Brave barely holding his ground.

Black Sister saw this slight in the mecha's movements; thus she capitalized.

"EX Multi Buster!"

VOOM!

Her cannon fired a large beam of blue energy at the off-balanced CFW, knocking him completely off balance with the beam causing continuous damage as it persisted.

"Mirage Dance!"

SLASH!-SLASH!-SLASH!

SLASH!-

-SLASH!

This gave Purple Sister enough time to use one of her own SP Skills to deal more damage as the beam from Uni's attack subsided.

Acting upon the still-dazed robot gave her the window needed to pile up the damage indicators with a series of elegant attacks before slicing right through him.

A large chunk was ripped from his hull with the parting slice.

CFW Brave stabbed his sword into the ground to prevent his body from crashing into the floor, quickly recovering from the monumental combination of sword strikes.

"YAH!"

FWOOSH!

SWING!-

Sending an arc of flame to Black Sister, he continued with the momentum of his strike to attempt an attack on Nepgear's flank.

This was taking advantage of the position she ended her skill in, whilst staving off the Lastationite goddess in a singular motion.

WOOSH!

Black Sister took to the air, avoiding the attack completely.

"Nepgear, watch out!" She warned her divine peer.

"Huh?!"

The purple goddess turned around, before seeing the flaming mass of metal approach her with blinding speed.

CLANG!

Raising her sword defensively, she felt a tremendous amount of force collide with her weapon whilst being pushed through the air.

"Slash Wave!"

BLAM!

Using another SP Skill, the share energy erupted from her blade, separating the two sword users.

CFW Brave was propelled away from the purple goddess, the attack still forcing him in the opposite direction.

"HRAH!"

KA-BOOM!

Using his fiery sword, an explosion was created through the dispersing of the wave of energy.

"Not bad. But it will take more than that to make me keel over." Twirling the handle of his sword, the CFW readied his blade.

"Then how about this!" Black Sister roared.

CHARGE...!

Her rifle suddenly accumulated massive amounts of energy in front of the muzzle, the background yellow-shifting in the process.

CHARGE...!

"That attack won't work twice!" CFW Brave changed his target, using both hands to challenge the SP Skill.

CHARGE!...

"We'll just have to see, won't we!" Black Sister shouted with determination before the attack collected enough energy.

"The share energy amassed from that thing is not something to be trifled with." Future Heart raised his brows in shock.

"This is getting me excited...!"Brave Heart anxiously observed the CPU Candidate's weapon.

"..." Yet Edge Heart remained steadfast within his silence.

"XMB: Empress!"

BLAST!

An enormous amount of energy was released from the rifle that Black Sister aimed, enough to cause her entire body to brace itself, the brilliant yellow beam easily rivaling her in size.

CFW Brave heaved his arms to the side before his flaming sword roared to life, the flames becoming wild and unstable.

SHOCKWAVE!...

The ASIC leader used all of his might to swing his blade, connecting with the behemoth of a laser beam.

Purple Sister and Future Heart, alongside the GPUs all marveled at the contest of wills that was unraveling before them.

...RUMBLE!

The ground started to reverberate, CFW Brave's strength at a level where his body affected the environment from resisting Uni's attack.

Black Sister's face was tensed with concentration during the clash, after removing the limiter of her EX Multi Blaster.

But her opponent still persevered, even through that.

Sweat rolled down her face, her teeth clenched with her reserves of SP going into the attack. Her hands shook whilst trying to control the recoil her rifle experienced firing at such a powerful intensity.

There was no backing out this late into the battle, yet her body was beginning to reach its limit.

"Come on Uni! You can do it!" Nepgear's words pierced through the battle, her Offensive Cheer reaching the CPU Candidate's ears.

"... Thank you, Nepgear." Taking a deep breath, the tsundere goddess closed her eyes before opening them with a confident smirk.

"I'll finish this!"

BLAST!

The beam became reinforced with the remainder of her share energy, becoming brighter in the process.

CFW Brave's body violently rattled from the sudden surplus of strength that his opponent mustered.

"W-What?!" He gawked before his blade was doused with the energy of the Lastationite CPU Candidate.

"AAAAAAAAAAAGRH!"

His stance was broken, before being engulfed in the mass of energy.

THOOM!

A large yellow explosion fulminated from the battlefield, rocking the entire dungeon in the process. The ground ruptured with the winds being cast omnidirectionally.

Purple Sister braced, yet felt herself being on the verge of flying away from the intense winds.

WOOOSH!

"!"

Until just that occurred.

"Kyaaaa!- Huh?..." But the innocent CPU Candidate had nothing to fear when her body was suddenly caught.

"Got'cha." Future Heart told the goddess, holding her bridal style in a much safer position than toiling through the winds like a tumbleweed.

"Thank you..." She sighed.

"Don't want you getting too carried away, love." The time-traveler continued before the Planeptunian goddess realized the position she was in when her face started to light up.

"Uhm, this is kind of embarrassing..." Purple Sister told the green-haired CPU Candidate with an adorable look of bashfulness.

"So could you put me down please?" She asked rather nicely, through her flustered expression.

"Oh... Oh!" Awkwardness took hold of the interaction before he placed the girl gently next to the other deities.

"Smooth." Brave Heart mocked. "Real smooth." He continued, to the green CPU's expense.

"Ugh..." Groaned the Leanboxian, knowing that that interaction would soon be a topic of teasing.

"We have more important things to focus on than Vergo's cringe attempts at flirting." Edge Heart deadpanned at the blue GPU before looking back at the battlefield.

The smoke quickly cleared, revealing a heavily damaged, but not decommissioned CFW Brave. His metallic hull was severely degraded with sparks shooting out his joints and some wiring revealed through his parts.

DESCEND...!

Black Sister was breathing heavily from above, before descending to the ground before the CFW.

"Truly fascinating. Such a boon in power from a handful of allies. Perhaps a mysterious force caused their hearts to resonate? Or are they finally awakening their true potential..." CFW Brave spoke to himself, pushing his body up with his sword.

REVERT!

"I knew we could do it!" Nepgear cheered after reverting to her human form, running next to the black CPU Candidate's side.

REVERT!

"We did it... We really won!" Uni followed suit, before basking in their victory.

REVERT!

REVERT!

REVERT!

The trio of gods did the same, before walking behind the two goddesses.

"Hahahaha! What a delightful match! Very well, warriors. To honor your efforts, I will leave this place in peace." It almost sounded as if CFW Brave was happy he lost, but in reality, it was from an excellent show of power during his bout.

"But when we next meet, do not expect such leniency. Prepare both your strength and willpower!"

BOOST!...

He warned the group before using his thrusters to exit the dungeon.

The knight had conceded...

VICTORY!

"All in a day's work." A relaxed breath from Nebula broke the silence.

"We're so awesome, everyone!" Negpear celebrated their victory over the CFW.

"Y-Yeah, thanks... But isn't this because of you?" She questioned her place in the battle.

"Goodness gracious, no." The purple goddess immediately denied the credit. "Uni, you're really strong. It's because of you that we won." She told the gunner goddess.

"I think everyone contributed to the battle and our synergy resulted in our outcome." Vergo hypothesized.

"Well, putting it into perspective, Gris and I managed to wear down his guard gauge before you and Nepgear whittled his HP, and Uni put him to rest." Nebula compiled.

"If you translate that into applicable battle statistics, it's pretty telling of our battle," Gris commented.

"I wasn't being literal, you guys... Nevermind." The tsundere shook her head, Vergo took notice of that statement before the twin-tailed girl continued.

"Nepgear, I'll be straight up..." She started. "Could I... Could I join your party?" She shyly asked the purple-haired CPU Candidate.

"You wanna come with us? Don't sound so shy, of course, you can! Yay!" Sparkles could be seen from Nepgear's eyes.

"S-Stop acting so happy about it...! Seeing you makes me realize how stupid was acting before..." Uni sighed after some reflection.

"Good job, Uni." Nebula congratulated.

"Huh? What do you mean?" She looked at the blue god, confused.

"If you cringe at your past self, that means you've grown as a person. The universal learning experience of every intelligent lifeform." The adventurer sagely advised.

Uni pondered silently at that tidbit of information.

"If only you took your own advice." Gris shook his head.

"If only you took down optimum prime." Nebula responded.

"What?" Squinted the assassin.

"UR UR AE AE AE AE-" The meme lord made a sound similar to clearing his throat several times.

"Teinōsha." (Imbecile.) Grimaced the Lastationite GPU, sucking his teeth at the idiotic meme.

"Nebula, he's not an autobot." Vergo facepalmed with a small smile.

"He's a deception!" The blue deity announced with 100% certainty.

"Celestia, why is HE a GPU." Looking up, the assassin comically begged the heavens for an answer.

"Which one?" Vergo inquired, holding back a laugh.

"DO NOT ENCOURAGE HIM!-" Gris pointed his finger at the blonde with fervor, but alas, it was far too late.

"Without a doubt, Megan of Tr*n: Leg*cy." A smug look of accomplishment was smeared across the male's face

BAM!

Gris' hand dematerialized into a smear of colors before palm striking the blue bastard in his cranium.

"*funni turkey noises*"

"Are you okay, Nebula?" Nepgear asked, with moderate concern.

"*affirmative turkey noises*"

"Anyway..." Uni giggled, the antics of the males cheering her up quite a bit.

"Before I forget, what happened here stays between the five of us." She gave a glare to the individual deities.

"What stays here?" Nepgear asked cluelessly.

"Care to elaborate?" Vergo asked, knowing what Uni meant, but decided to take the piss.

"Y'know... Seeing me all depressed and pouty and stuff." She referenced, Vergo trying to keep a straight face.

"Oh! All of that whimpering and crying like a baby who really has to burp? I know, I'll keep it a secret." Nepgear nodded, to which the blonde was on the verge of chaotic laughter.

"H-Hey! I wasn't that pathetic!" Screamed the tsundere, embarrassed to hell and back.

"About that..." Vergo interjected, sweat dropping.

"Don't push it, blondie." Uni dangerously glared at the taller CPU Candidate.

"WAAAAH!~ I CAN'T BEAT UP OPTIMUM PRIME- UR UR AE AE AE AE!" Nebula mocked, whilst imitating the spasms of a certain school teacher who believed in fairy odd parents.

"I'm gonna shoot that blue bastard!" Uni pulled out her rifle, comical saucers for eyes with furrowed brows as she pulled the bolt of her gun.

"Yes, Uni! Unite with me and together we will make that meme lord face divine retribution!" Gris rallied with his own comical saucers, before pulling out his own pistol.

"Nuh-uh." Wagging his finger, the blue CPU denied the Lastationite deities of their goal.

"FOR LASTATION!" The dark-clad deities shouted.

BANG! BANG! BANG!-...

GRATATATATATATATATA!-...

Guns blazing, the bullets halted in the air via Nebula's gravity shield.

A trollage expression plastered itself on the blue GPU's face, his body unaffected by the barrage of lead and gunpowder that approached him from multiple fronts.

"For Lamestation, more like." Mocked the meme lord, to the ire of the natives of the eastern nation.

"He can't deflect all of our bullets!" The edge lord shouted.

"Just die already!" The tsundere barked, embarrassment all over her features.

"Aye yai yai. He's really winding them up." Vergo sweat dropped, watching Nebula breakdance in his dome of gravitational force.

"It's nice to see Uni anything other than sad in my eyes." Nepgear smiled at the scene, an expression that made the blonde's own heart warm in response.

"Oi! You all can liberate the world of Nebula later, let's get back to Lastation!" The CPU Candidatetime traveler shouted at the three deities.

"You live, heathen." Gris put away his gun.

"...Baka." Uni huffed, storing her rifle.

"I live to meme another day..." An exasperated sigh escaped the blue pseudo-protagonist's lips.

Back at Lastation City...

"Wow, that was quick." AL was the first to speak upon the return of the CPUs and GPUs.

"And they brought her back with them." IF referred to the Lastationite CPU Candidate. "So is she gonna join us this time?" IF inquired.

"Well, duh. It looks as if you all desperately need my help, so I'm gonna extend my effort to you guys." Uni haughtily answered. "Besides, when would you save my sister otherwise?" She gave a smug look to the group.

"Hmm... A little later, technically." Domio did the 'so-so' hand motion.

"W-What do you mean by that?" Taken aback, the tsundere looked to the child.

"No offense, Uni!" Domio quickly caught on to how his words could have been interpreted. "But before you officially joined, half of the party was in the realm of the goddesses." The warlock pointed out, with the Lastationite goddesses eyeing him carefully.

"But we're more than happy to accept you!" He beamed, childlike charm still within his smile.

"Uh... Thanks, Domio." Uni told the Loweean magic user, her offense melting into reciprocal appreciation.

"I'm just surprised you were able to convince such a hard-shelled tsundere." The brunette Guild Agent spoke, impressed at the arduous feat.

"Takes a tsun to know a tsun, doesn't it?" Nebula raised his eyebrows successively, mimicking a certain emoticon.

IF's gaze suddenly shifted to Nebula, giving him a dull glare before rolling her eyes at his snickering.

"Ge-Ge is like a friend magnet!"Compa grinned at the CPU Candidate, who became bashful at the positive attention.

"Aw shucks, you're just flattering me." Nepgear's cheeks became tinged with a pastel pink shade, enjoying the praise she received.

"Anyway, it's fine if you want to help us but don't be a snooty pants, okay?" Ram walked up to the Lastationite goddess.

"Can I call you Miss Uni?" Rom politely questioned the CPU Candidate.

"This is a pretty awesome party now! All of the CPU Candidates and GPUs have teamed up with me, the heroine of justice!" Nisa triumphantly announced pride in her group of allies written all over her face.

"I haven't felt this strong of a bond with others since that giant concert." 5pb. spoke, reminiscing.

"This party surely can defeat whatever stands in its way." MAGES. noted the amount of strength the party possessed, even in numbers.

"Victory's more or less waiting for us to take it home." Gust bluntly stated.

"You got that right." Gris harrumphed cockily.

"It's gotten quite crowded, hasn't it?" IF looked around, seeing the characters that made up the party.

"It was just the four of us." Compa referenced herself, the brunette Guild Agent, the purple CPU Candidate, and the blue GPU. "But now look how many friends she's made!" Even the Nurse-In-Training noted the number of friends that Nepgear amassed.

"And this time, I'm sure... I promise I'm going to save our sisters!" Nepgear told the group, but more importantly herself.

Malware...

"And this time, I'm sure... I promise I'm going to save our sisters!"

Nepgear's voice sounded holographic through the device used to perform espionage.

"Save their sisters, she says. What a load of bullshit." Xero's voice mimicked the CPU Candidate's terribly before snorting at the implication.

He was currently sitting in Citadel's office, using his computer to observe the operations of his dimensional enemies.

The triple monitor setup proved useful in watching the moves of the unsuspecting losers that Xero needed to get even with.

Leaning back on the sweet gamer chair, he gave the screen a nasty look.

"Can't believe I let those fuckin' assholes beat me when I was messing around." Grumbling, he clenched his fist.

His eyes danced over the trio who had successfully driven him away the first time he landed in Lastation. And by coincidence, the group just so happened to be in that very same nation.

"They've been buddy-buddy with the CPUs, so that's gonna make things more of a pain." He shook his head.

"But all that means is that more bodies get to pile up when I'm through with those weaklings." Xero darkly smiled, typing some more things on the PC.

"If all things go accordingly, I'll have my chance to crush them like the cockroaches they are in no time...! Hehehahaha!" He evilly laughed under his breath, memorizing each of the faces.

"Using quantum computing for stalking offworlders is against company policy, Xero." A female voice told him, to the increasing scowl growing on the god's face.

A new figure entered the VPU's study, a decently tall woman around 5'7". White black hair in a half-and-half bob cut hung to her nape with cyber cyan eyes. She wore a rather formal outfit as well, a sleeveless black top fitted with a grey skirt that was double studded with the top covering some of the top, wearing a dark grey somewhat open blazer with black heels.

Holding a clipboard with a pen, she scribbled things on it before looking up at the raven-haired VPU with annoyance.

"And you still have yet to pay for the collateral damage you caused for your power trip." She reminded the vile deity.

"File it to the complaints department." Xero pointed to the nearest trash bin, causing a tick mark to form on the woman's head.

"You're lucky that Citadel is your brother, or else I'd put your head in that bin for that comment." She darkly replied.

ゴゴゴゴ!...

Suddenly, the air felt cold with the menacing aura of a new individual making itself known in an instant.

"Woman." DIO bespoke with some edge to his voice, currently sitting on the couch adjacent to the computer setup.

To the average observer, it would seem he teleported there instantly, yet his voice sounded as if he was sitting in silence the entire time up until he started to converse.

"Where is my roadroller? Sources have informed me that you had it towed without my knowledge and I will not tolerate anything but its exact location." He warned.

"I am not obligated to tell you its whereabouts, not after you purloined it from the local construction site to fight him." She pointed to the vampire before pointing to the edgy antagonist.

"Go find it yourself, Twilight Sparkle." The venom-eyed VPU spat, while typing away on his brother's laptop alongside the well-named insult.

"Wryyyy..." A low hiss escaped the vampiric offworlder's lips. "Say that to my face, you mongrel-"

KILLING INTENT!

Unrestrained ill will was sent toward DIO's direction, making his body freeze in fear with lines of sweat running down his face.

"...!" Silence filled the room after Xero's pulse of fear energy.

His eyes glanced over to the screen, before seeing the faces of the people that defeated him.

Through the fear coursing through his body, he was still able to instinctively snarl.

Letting the fear subside, the edgy villain took notice of the vampire's focus.

"Dibs on the dweeb brigade. You should've killed them when you had the chance." A toothy smile was met with an infuriated growl.

"Feh... Dumb fucking luck." Spat the vampiric villain.

His time to slaughter those who dare oppose him will come soon enough.

"Fuaaah..." Vhestora walked into the room, before sitting down with her assets jiggling illogically due to the physics her fear aura enabled around her.

"Hello, whore." Xero greeted, typing away.

"Vhestora. I'd assume that you'd be awaiting your meeting with the administrators for your recent failure." The sophisticated woman assumed, turning to her.

"Proxi, you know me. Why rush to my doom?" A dry smile formed on the goddess' lips, taking off her hat.

"Yet the event is later today." The named Proxi brought up the meeting, stressing its importance.

"And? Father and mother can bitch and moan until the end of time, I pull up when I feel like it." Spat the problem child.

"You pull up when they tell you to, you musclehead." Sighing angrily, Proxi held her head in frustration.

"One fool is too stupid to understand basic regulations, and the other is too much of a coward to show. Some deities you are." DIO made fun of their state. "For I, DIO, am the only one truly capable of being called a god amongst you failures."

"Guywhogotkilledbyadorksaywhat?" Xero blurted out, using the mouse of the computer.

"...Nani?" He smirked, not falling for the trick in its traditional language.

"Usunoro." A devious smirk appeared on the deity's face, replying with DIO's own speech.

"Shit!" DIO cursed, slamming his fist onto the armrest.

"Ahem."

...

...

...

Citadel's voice pierced through the room, everyone turning to him.

"Big brother." Vhestora pleasantly greeted.

"Rooster Head." Xero monotonously spoke.

"Lord Citadel." Proxi bowed ceremoniously.

"Tch..." DIO didn't even go through the effort of responding, begrudgingly acknowledging the stronger being's existence.

"You will appear when you are called to the administration. Unless you prefer being stripped of your divinity and bodily movement, forced to endure cruel and unusual torture?" The elder god offered.

"What a pain..." Xero shut down the PC.

"I hope they go easy on me- I mean, us." Vhestora jittered, before correcting her speech once she realized her brother was glaring at her for leaving him out.

"Most likely, the both of you will get a final chance to prove yourselves before they issue anything drastic. Do not squander such an opportunity." The formal deity warned.

"So that's why you told me to go to your office." Xero's eyes widened in realization. "I thought it was because you were going to lecture me about being a competent harbinger of destruction or some other educational fuckery you usually pull." He folded his arms, the deity's mouth smiling with mirth.

"How much did you even see?" The blonde VPU was curious.

"Just the lameos having a kumbayah circlejerk about completing their ranks." The pizza-cutting villain waved off. "You didn't miss much, Vee." He paraphrased.

"What I know is that they're not gonna leave wherever we meet alive," Xero spoke as if it was a fact.

"Maybe I should take a trip to the brothel to recharge my reserves..." Vhestora murmured to herself, unaware of the disguised look she got from Proxi.

"Decide whether you will return for a second beating or not on your own." DIO adjusted his sitting position, folding his own arms.

BFFT!

Before instantly disappearing.

As DIO left, the monitor suddenly changed to a different screen.

'WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!'

Citadel's computer started going haywire with loud blaring sirens. A banner of yellow and black stripes cascaded across his monitors with the words sliding from left to right with bold yellow glowing text.

'Administration has sent a direct message: You two get your dumbasses up here. NOWWWWWWWW-' The last word kept going across the screen, almost as if the person sending the message forgot to let go of the key.

"Seems someone up in the ranks grows impatient." Proxi took note, before scribbling on her clipboard.

"Then what are we wasting time for? Let's go." Citadel instructed the room before the four left his office, to meet face to face with the organization's powerful.

A/N:

Thanks for reading!

With Uni finally on the team, retrieving the goddesses is only a matter of time!

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. If you haven't noticed, I've begun to shrink them in size to make them easier to produce for the sake of efficiency. Although the word count is nice to look at, finishing the story is better objectively.

Make sure to leave a favorite and follow if you want to show support! It keeps me motivated every time I get one.

Don't forget to comment if you have anything you wish to point out about the story, or if you just want to send some kind words.
