For a long time, he was a simple research station where scientists experimented on energon. Then Megatron gave him a new purpose : To join the decepticons, in a war against the autobots.

On the battlefield, he was the most powerful of them all, eradicating entire legions. Only Omega Supreme was his equal, until a trio of pesky aerialbots destroyed his conversion cog, and after that, Optimus Prime managed to vanquish him by making him fall in an energon lake.

After some time, Megatron found him and, to punish him for his failure, forced him to be permanently in his warship form, to never speak, or never think again.

So why was Trypticon now feeling awake ?

" I ordered you to be awake, beast. " A powerful, deep and growling voice boomed

Trypticon looked up and saw the most terrifying sight of all : A face every cybertronians knew and dreaded to see one day.

" Lord Unicron. How ? " Trypticon said, bowing

" The arrogant fool, Megatron, brought my blood in yourself, etablishing a connection between us. And your body will have to do, as mine has been sent back in stasis by that wretched Matrix of Leadership. " Unicron responded, before sending beams of energy from his eyes to Trypticon, who yelled in pain

( With the decepticons)

As the vehicons were repairing the damages Nightscream's cannons did to their ship, Megatron was seething on the bridge.

" Is this my curse ? To be plagued by traitors, and Primes turning my troops against me !? " Megatron ranted

" But your magnificence, this is just a minor setback. Soon we will crush all your enemies and show your unmatched might to the insects populating this world. " Blackout promised his leader

" Sycophantry aside, he is right, my lord. Airachnid, Dreadwing and Optimus will be defeated. " Flamewar stated

Just then, Soundwave turned around and showed a peak of dark energon on his screen face.

" Lord Megatron, the damages are fixing themselves at an abnormal speed. " a vehicon called on the radio

" Because I ordered it. " Unicron called, Making Megatron freeze in horror

" Unicron ?! Impossible, Optimus sent you back in stasis ! " Megatron denied

" My body is in stasis, but not my Anti-spark. And now, insect, your ship is mine to command. " Unicron said

" My lord, please reconsider my old offer to you. I will rule this world in your name. " Megatron begged

" Silence, filthy worm. I told you, I don't need your useless help. You and those insects you command will bear witness to my final victory over Primus. " Unicron responded before taking flight towards space

" Soundwave, do something ! " Slipstream yelled

The spymaster tried to connect with the computers but Unicron electrified him until he fell unconscious.

" None of you can stop what is to come. " Unicron stated, before going into space towards the newly rebuilt spacebridge

( autobots base)

" Optimus, Durerus, you won't believe this. " Ratchet stated

" I'm ready to believe anything, Ratchet. " Jack said

" The Nemesis just appeared on our radar and is going to their spacebridge. " Ratchet explained

" So they are leaving ?! Sweet, time for a party. " Miko said, high-fiving with Moonracer

" No, we can't celebrate yet. Them leaving could also mean they are preparing something big. " Durerus said

" Jack is right : When Megatron left for three years, he came back with dark energon. We must prepare for everything. " Optimus added

( With Unicron )

Finally, the other end of the spacebridge was reached and the Nemesis arrived above Cybertron.

" Behold your planet, for the time that is left to it. " Unicron stated, before positionning himself above the well of the Allspark

" Lord Unicron, we beg you, do not do this. We will serve as your eternals servants if this is your price for sparing Cybertron. " Megatron begged

" I refuse. " Unicron responded, before charging up a laser beam.

On the surface of Cybertron, in an underground laboratory was an infamous scientist known as Shockwave. After surviving his spacebridge's explosion and the wound Arcee gave him, he spent the last three years rebuilding it and working on his own projects.

But today, he detected the Nemesis coming back on Cybertron. He thought at first that Megatron learned of his survival and was coming for him until the ship was placed above the well of the Allspark. Upon further examination, Shockwave saw a peak of energy increasing in a particular place and understood that it was a weapon charging, but it was illogical for nobody would benefit of Cybertron's destruction apart from...

Now, Shockwave was a cold, stoic and emotionally detached scientist who only acted on logic without scrupules, but this revelation was feeling him with terror. Unicron was back and on the verge of destroying the planet.

Shockwave didn't wasted time and, using a voice modulator, called upon a peculiar radio he picked on sometime ago.

" Omega Supreme, I, Optimus Prime, order you to awake. Cybertron is lost, I will send you the coordinates of another planet for you to go. " Shockwave said in Optimus's voice, before imputing coordinates and sending to his spacebridge and Omega Supreme.

The portal opened and Shockwave went through it.

The most powerful autobot, Omega Supreme, awoke from his stasis and receive the order from whom he believed to be his leader.

" I will go where you wish, Optimus. " He said, before transforming into his ship mode and flying away.

( with Unicron )

" Yes, it is done. Now, watch your world die. " Unicron boasted, before firing the laser to Cybertron's core

After a moment, huge explosion were heard and seen from across the planet as Unicron was flying away.

Horror, That was the only way to describe what was written on all Decepticons faces. What have they done ?

" It is over, Primus. I won. And now, Earth will be next to fall. The past shall consume the future, the dead shall consume the living, and chaos shall reign supreme!" Unicron stated his intentions.

But Soundwave regain consciousness and, in a last effort, managed to connect to the spacebridge and shut it down before setting it to self-destruct.

" You dared to stand against me, vermin ! " Unicron yelled before electrocutting Soundwave, until the spymaster died and fell on the floor.

( autobots base )

Optimus and Jack fell on the ground, screaming in pain and clutching their chestplates all the while.

" Jack, Optimus, what's happening ? " Ratchet asked, going over the two.

The pain stopped soon enough and the two Primes responded at the same time.

" Something dark and terrible has just happened. "

( With Shockwave)

Shockwave arrived in a desert full of sand and rocks. He mused that the only logical thing to do was to seek help from the autobots. Fortunately for him, a groundbridge opened and from it, came a team of autobots, among them, Optimus Prime, Arcee and the young scout Megatron tortured. And they were clearly not happy to see him.

" Shockwave. It has been a while. " Optimus stated

" Indeed, Optimus. But now, our conflict doesn't matter anymore. For I arrive with grave news for all cybertronians. " Shockwave responded

" Oh yeah ? And what could possibly be so important for you to come here ? " Arcee snarled

" Unicron has returned and he destroyed Cybertron. " Shockwave bluntly said

The autobots didn't want to believe it, but the sheer horror on Optimus and Jack's face told them everything : Shockwave was not lying. What were their chances now ?
