D-007.

Day of launch.

Miles: "Welcome to the launch site!"he yells out enthusiastically, as he presents the spaceship…in a random desert field, near a small hut, right as the sun begins rising. The blue hue of the sky as the stars begin to fade and give away to the clear blue skies of the morning is caused by the sun shining down its ray, allowing the ship to be fully visible.

The spaceship is designed almost like an octopus, eight thin, silver and sharp metallic arms come out of the bottom sides, giving it standing as its oval shaped cockpit sits like a watchful eye. Its dark, blue-tinted windows curve around the front, offering a broad view of the surroundings, as if the ship itself is peering into the depths of space. Below the cockpit and between the legs is the rocket itself, surrounded by several smaller pitch black thrusters.

"I call this…the Grand Tour Spaceship!"

Everyone there, Itadori (Holding Angela in his arms), Cosmo, Shadow and Amy, are all left unimpressed. Except Icarus, he is actually clapping alone.

"WO! Go Miles!"

He stops clapping when he realises no one else is.

Icarus: "Guys, what's wrong-"

"I call this…the-"

Amy: "Yeah, bud, we know, we heard it the first time."

Miles: "Oh…"

Itadori: "You really just looked up 'Popular Anime spaceships' and called it a day, didn't you? What, did you really think we wouldn't notice you just used the Dragon Ball GT ship?"

Amy: "Honestly, I'd be willing to get past that if it weren't for the fact he also copied its colours. What happened to all the yellow and blue you always used?"

Shadow: "You even copied its name…No dignity! Where did the brilliant genius of days past go?"

Baby Angela cries out a single low pitched groan of disapproval.

Cosmo: "I have no knowledge on what is a 'Dragon Ball Gee Tee', but if what they say is true, then…well, I was going to perhaps ask you out on what you people call 'a date', but my husband cannot be seen being this shameless."

Miles: "I AM ALREADY MARRIED, YOU KNOW!"

Cosmo: "The bride has my sincerest condolences."

Icarus: "To be honest, I find it quite impressive for a week's work."

Miles: "THANK YOU! You guys try making a ship capable of intergalactic travel in a week. Seriously, I didn't have time to waste on an actual cool design, cut me some slack."

Shadow: "All that aside, you sure it is ready for launch?"

"100%. You should know me by now, Shads."

"After what I just saw? I am not so sure…ha!" Shadow retorts with a chuckle.

Amy: "Don't be mean to Miles!" she defends as she playfully pushes Shadow.

Tails rolls his eyes with a smirk.

Back in the city, a simple human male grocery store worker wipes the sweat off his forehead using the back of his hand as he looks proudly upon the fully completed pyramid of stacked canned beans. He looks down and grabs an unlabelled cardboard box to continue his work and walks away, but he decides to take one last glance at his hard work…only to find the top-most can missing. He puts the box down and steps to the pyramid, and finds in place of the can 5 golden rings, lying on the top.

He looks around and sees no one behind him. The only sound is the sound of paper suddenly rustling in the air, as if a gust of wind somehow came inside the store.

Sniff sniff

Itadori: "What on…"

Amy pinches her nose and waves her hands away.

Amy: "Wow, Angela is one of those types, huh? I almost feel bad."

Itadori: "That's weird…she never smells that bad when she needs to change…no matter. Shadow, Cosmo, go right ahead to the ship. I will give her a change in the hut and follow suit."

Icarus is overhearing this conversation over the shoulder, and chuckles to himself.

Tails raises an eyebrow at Icarus' reaction.

Miles: "Hey, Shadow, why don't you do the changing?"

Shadow looks like he just saw a ghost.

Shadow: "Me? Why do I have to-"

Miles: "You are familiar with my tech by now, Cosmo and Itadori aren't. Might as well use this time for a tour."

Shadow: "B-but…ugh…"

He grabs Angela and walks into the hut, muttering the words "The world's ultimate life form…reduced to a damn babysitter…"

The door of the ship opens, laying out stairs for Cosmo and Itadori to climb on.

Itadori lets Cosmo go first with a gesture, Cosmo gives him a forced smile and goes on first, while Itadori climbs second, leaving the door open.

Miles: "We will start from the cockpit guys, just stay there and I will be with you in a flash."

Tails then walks up to a now nervous Icarus.

Miles: "You should have planned to replace Shadow instead. If he was with you, he would have turned you around and dropped you off. Itadori and Cosmo, on the other hand…"

Icarus: "H-huh? I..I don't know what are you-"

Miles: "Don't play dumb, Icarus. Now go on, zoom to the left of the ship, you will find a pole. Climb it and stay on the 2nd floor."

Icarus smiles, and follows Miles' commands, sprinting onto the ship.

Miles brings out a remote with a big red button on it, and sighs before pressing it.

"Keep an eye on him from above, eh partner?"

He presses the button.

The stairs retract and the door shuts close, the engines of the spaceship begin to ring up in noise as the ship begins to shake.

Cosmo: "Is..that supposed to happen?"

Itadori: "Maybe Miles is on his way?"

BOOM!

The rockets fire, and the ship begins levitating above the ground, causing the sand beneath to spread, looking like a contained sandstorm.

Shadow comes running, Angela in hand, only to see the ship going. Seeing the sand, he covers Angela using his cape from the harsh environment, utterly confused about what's going on.

The folks on board suddenly hear the sound of something crashing down on the 1st floor.

"Ow!"

They go towards the sound, and they find Icarus, holding his head out in pain.

Icarus: "Hey guys…uh….short time no see…?"

He flashes a nervous grin at them.

Itadori and Cosmo look at each other in utter disbelief, before they rush back to the cockpit and slam their hands on the hundreds of glowing buttons and lights in desperation.

LAUNCH IN 3

Itadori: "Turn it off, turn it off!"

2

Cosmo: "How am I supposed to know which button is off?!"

1

Itadori: "Try the red buttons-!"

LIFTOFF!

In just a few moments, the G.T.S rises and rapidly goes flying up, to the atmosphere and beyond, almost like a shooting star.

Shadow: "Miles…Miles! What happened?"

Miles: "I…I have no idea, it shouldn't have…"

Amy: "...where is Icarus?"

Shadow pauses for a moment, then scans the area for any signs of him.

Shadow: "I…he was right…"

As if on cue, Angela begins to cry.

Shadow: "...don't tell me he's…"

Amy grabs one of Shadow's quills and pulls it down.

Amy: "I told you that Rouge was nothing but trouble! Look! She turned our innocent little boy into a delinquent!"

Shadow: "Ow, ow, ow!"

Angela giggles, seemingly already feeling at home with Shadow and Amy.

Miles looks up to the sky, with a bright smirk on his face, as he sees the ship's faint light fade away into the distance.

Heading towards the unknown, Icarus the Hedgehog makes his decision at the last moment!

An adventure severed from all the rest is underway!
