I was afraid that I would be just bullshiting our training because I made our training up, but it ended up working better than I expected.

Asia can heal "better", as in, she can get the feel of what the wound is like and heal it faster than before. We also made her train a little bit of magic sensing so that she may heal people without even getting close to them in the future. In terms of physical training she can now easily beat up an "above average human fighter"… I'm not sure what that means because I don't really know how to measure a "normal human fighter" against me but that is what Koneko and Kiba said.

Kiba ended up getting the hang of making small swords, like 10 centimeter dull swords, to make them hang from his hip. He can keep up to 4 swords at the same time, 2 small ones on the hip and 2 normal ones on his hands, all of them with different effects. He learned how to give them simple buffs like make himself faster and/or stronger for now, of course the "brain buff" that issei does it's a little bit more advanced than what Kiba can do.

Koneko got the hang of senjutsu more. Because of that, her mana sensing increased greatly in terms of what things she can feel. She can even slightly affect another person's energy, like the Hyugas from Naruto can do, although not as strong for now. She can enhance herself a little with senjutsu though it probably isn't as strong as whatever "touki" is. We don't really know what else we can do from here.

Akeno now knows how to manipulate her lightning, both holy and normal ones, better. She got better at controlling the density and the size of her attacks. She's far more skilled with her holy lightning than I am with my POD and Cursed POD. Although her magic control is the best of the peerage, her power is lacking a little.

Kiba battles more with skill and speed, and Asia is not a damage dealer, so besides them the rest of us can do far more damage than her. I'm not sure if she can get something to boost her powers like the rest of us can besides just "train harder", so all she can do for now is to keep training to increase her control even further to deal more damage with less mana.

My holy light training was shit. I think it got a little more used to it? It still hurts a lot, but my own use of light magic and Akeno's lightning hurted a little bit less than before… maybe, I don't know, anyway it's not something that is going to change anytime soon.

The real shit came from, surprisingly, the dress break training. With Issei and mine's stupid competition, I actually got the hang of how to feel the little details of Issei's magic, not only the magic circle of the dress break, but the magic connection that exists between when she activates her magic to the magic circle. When I managed that, I started to be able to cancel the dress break even after she activated it and before it got to me.

I also discovered that if I wanted, I could not let myself be affected by her boosted gear, like if she wanted to give me a debuff or a buff that I didn't want. If I manage to learn how to feel and block other people's magic like this, I would be able to block curses… granted that I block or cancel it before it reaches me, of course. Apparently it's either something amazing or not really trained, because her hand dragon, Draig, said to her that he didn't remember if he ever saw something like this, blocking the Boosted Gear's magic in mid activation… and that it was really stupid that I managed to learn such a skill with this type of training.

And… that 's it. For now at least. We don't really have a time limit on how long we can take to get strong… I think. I'm going to guess that something will happen eventually. The entity that made me be reborn here seemed nice but I don't think that they would allow me to just keep training for years in the time chamber… and more importantly, I do like the place but I'm not Goku and Vegeta that can keep doing the same exact training for a year in a closed space without the internet.

I'll keep coming back when I have new training for me or my peerage to get the hang of it or when I feel like it.

Anyway we spent the last day just lazing around, mostly in the gaming room. This time I managed to make Asia start playing fighting games. She didn't like it at first… until she got to play Kuma on tekken. She ended up winning a fight against Koneko with him somehow and decided that he was her favorite character and that she liked fighting games now.

Then we started Mario Kart on the game cube because the Wii one was not out yet. I got on a team with Akeno and we made sure to mess with every single other person that got close to us. I used Yellow White mode to focus on the driving while Akeno made sure to annoy the shit out of everybody else at the back seat, which led to everyone trying to mess with us back, even Kiba and Asia were doing their best to hit us with items, surprisingly.

Then Asia and Koneko went back to fighting games while the rest of us went to play the minigames of Pokemon Stadium 2. It was supposed to be just us playing friendly… but it ended up with all of us tryharding. I used the YW mode again, I could feel Issei and Kiba boosting themselves. I mangaged to win in the end, despite Akeno trying to fuck around by releasing very tiny bolts of lightning in the perfect moments.

We decided to sleep after that because after this night of sleep in the chamber it would be exactly 1 hour before they had to go to school outside.

"Will you not come with us today?" Issei asks.

…I'm not really looking forward to school but hey, maybe it's fun, somehow.

"Nah. Not today, at least. "

"Will you be fine alone?" Akeno asks worryingly.

The fuck? "Why wouldn't I be?" She asks as if it's the first time that they went to school and I didn't.

"Because now I'm worried about how reckless you can be with yourself"

…?

"Like you asking me to use holy lighting on you, I mean." She says.

Ah. "It was with someone I could trust and with a healer on our side " I point at Asia. " It was the perfect moment to train being hit by a holy element."

She makes a weird face " What is uncommon is the fact that you actually asked to do something crazy in the first place. And now I'm worried about letting you alone with your ideas."

Humph. "You speak as if it wasn't a great idea."

She just keeps looking at me like I'm going to accidentally put myself on fire… wait, If I meet people with different types of fires it might not be such a bad ide—

"Don't"

"What?" I am almost certain that I did not say that out loud.

"You have this specific face when you have some of your "brilliant ideas". "

…Shit, she's getting better at reading me and it's not a good thing. "I don't know what you're talking about. But hey look at the time, better not be late. See you guys later!" I say as I wisely run awa– I mean, leave the room.

As I enter the corridor I hear Akeno saying "Be careful!" as I feel them teleporting away.

…welp. I have some hours before Grayfia comes here to teach me again so I'm free… Now what?

I grab my phone and text Sona to see if she's available after Grayfia's training.

Me: Yo, you free today?

She takes a few seconds to respond

Sona: I probably won't have much work today, so yes.

Sona: If you want to meet, I will be at the student council room after school hours.

Me: K

… Wait, I don't know where that is…. eh I'll ask her later. Now I need something to do.

I'm not really in the mood for video games alone, youtube is not that much common yet, the supernatural world equivalent of youtube is not that advanced so… I need something else to do. I could do a channel?... Nah, maybe later. Not really feeling it right now…

Eh. I'm gonna go find Millicas, if he's awake, I want to give him a spare DS and show him pokemon… or maybe I make him play an MMO or Dota?... I hope he doesn't turn toxic, it would be hilarious, but if my family discovers that it was me I might get in trouble–

I felt a strong presence around the corner. Who the fu—

I saw mom appearing in the hall. "Hello Rias"

…? Why didn't I.. ah right. I forgot that I technically haven't seen her, Millicas, dad and Sirzechs in a while and I hadn't learned how to sense magic last time I saw them. I can see the problem in spending too much time in the chamber now.

"Hey Mom, do you know where Millicas is?"

"He's with Grayfia now. She's his tutor for today."

"Oh, thanks mom." Right. I forgot that he also studied in the morning. Welp, here goes my plans… eh, guess I'll just play some game to zone out for a few hours.

As I turn to leave I hear from Mom "Are you free right now?"

"Until Grayfia comes to get me, yeah."

"Do you want to hang out?"

… Huh, I wasn't expecting this today.

Thinking about it, I haven't really talked with my family since the day they were telling me about my childhood stories. Mom teached Asia, Issei and me the other day, but that doesn't count. I think Grayfia is the person who I spent the most time with alone because of training.

"Sure"

I keep looking between the recipe in my hands and the… "pizza" that we made.

"...How?"

"It's called magic, Rias"

"No. I get that but It's still… bizarre."

I grab a piece of the "pizza" and eat it.

… it's delicious. It has the perfect flavor… of chicken pie.

We followed all the right steps. Made into a pie looking thing and placed in the oven. Then it came out as a pizza.

It was not an illusion. It was just a straight up pie flavored pizza. I'm not sure what happened in between. The cheese was just straight up chicken flavoured cheese somehow.

"Mom?"

"Yes, dear?"

"Why do we have this… thing?" I say as I point and the "oven".

"It was because Ajuka sometimes makes these weird "creations" from time to time and gives them to Sirzechs. Some of them are fun, some are weird and others are just straight up sealed in one of our rooms."

"... Why are they sealed here and not, like, in his lab or house?"

"Because Ajuka and Sirzechs both think that it's a waste to get rid of them and they know that Ajuka might just throw it away if it is in his lab. He also doesn't really trust his house not to do something stupid."

"Huh."

Isn't this thing made with extremely complicated and advanced magic to be capable of doing this shit? Or is our race's "imagination magic" this wild?

As someone that likes to cook, this weird machine that somehow "changes the appearance of food without changing the flavor" is kind of insulting… Having said that, I do want to use it again.

I feel my phone vibrating. I see that it was Grayfia telling me that she is available, asking when I wanted to start training and also that she had the weighted wrist and ankle bands ready for me.

...Right. The training. Mom telling some stories and us cooking together made me forget about why I was looking for something fun to do today.

"Hey mom, Grayfia's done so I have to leave."

"Oh… What will you be learning today?"

"She said she was going to teach me how to make magic circles and how to teleport."

"Already? Are you managing to keep up and is your training not going too fast?"

"Nah. Grayfia makes me do the new training for the whole day and in the next one we review the training again before she teaches me something new."

"... How long have you been training?"
"Since yesterday. Oh but in the resort it has been like… 2 weeks?" Or something like that if I count the training with Grayfia and my peerage.

She started frowning. "What "resort" are you talking about?"

I then proceed to explain my time resort thing to her.

She got mad.

"Mother, you have to realize that this is the optimal option. The quicker that she learn how to defend herself, the bet–"

"I know that it's the most optimal option. That is not the problem with Grayfia." She said in a very serious tone. Until it came out more like whining "It's about only you getting to enjoy Rias's growth and Me– I mean, us missing it!"

I see Grayfia getting embarrassed before trying to deny it. Mom is not actually angry, more like upset at something silly. I just keep my mouth shut while eating the "pizza". Seeing this side of the person who threw poison at me is refreshing.

This keeps going on for a while even after I finish my food. If it was another time maybe I would like to keep watching this but Grayfia did give me my weighted wrist and ankle bands and I want to train. "Mom, do you want to help with my training?"

They stop talking and turn to me. Mom seemed stunned for a second "You won't mind If I join?"

I shake my head. "The training until now was best for Grayfia and me to be alone because she is the "strongest queen", so she would probably get the fighting part more than you and Dad. But now it is the magic circle thing, so either the knowledge is the same for both of you or you have different methods of doing it, either way it wouldn't hurt to have more opinions about it."

"Then I would love to help you" She then smiles at me. "Oh we should call your father and Millicas here as well!"

"NO!" ABSOLUTELY NOT. I saw some pictures and videos of myself around 11 or 12 when I started to get embarrassed by them. I don't want to have to deal with that more than necessary. "Mom I don't mind spending time with you guys, but at the end of the day this is training. Taking pictures and videos of me will be very anoy– really get in the way of my concentration."

"Then how about Your father and me keeping a rotation on teaching you things that are not related to magic?"

"Like what?"

"For example: I am good at managing things while your father is good at seeing and making opportunities. That's why we are quite rich." She points out.

"Quite rich" is a bit of an understatement from what I know but what she says does make sense. I would like to have someone like Grayfia to do those things like managing my shit for me… but I guess that It might not be very realistic to get someone to just order them to do the things and make it work, especially if you don't know what you're supposed to do unless you have someone that you completely trust.

It's not a bad idea."Sure" I responded to her.

Grayfia says. "Well then. Rias, please go warm up and repeat your training from before while I discuss with mother on how we will proceed."

"Okay"

After I had a warmup and Grayfia checked my progress, we went immediately to the new training… which is learning how to deal with magic circles.

They first made some magic circles on the floor and in the air so that I could get used to feeling them, trying to guess or outright knowing what is the magic that the circle is trying to activate.

This was actually stupidly easy because of how much Issei stripi– used her spell on me. It made me completely understand her magic circle on instinct, shit I think I can use dress break myself even if I don't know if I'll ever use it. But anyway it made me be really good at… "reading" or "understanding" magic circles.

Then they made ones that I had to activate myself, that is, infuse mana on them. Funny thing is, that you can use a magic circle without knowing what it is supposed to do, all you need to do is to release your magic into it. Not very recommended, but it is possible unless the person made it to trigger only with something like time, maybe it needs someone to touch it or an incantation.

That was also how I learned to activate my weighed items and make them be just enough for me to feel it for now. I asked if enchanting is just adding magic circles in objects and apparently I was kind of right but Grayfia said that was for another time.

Now I got to the important part. I had to make the magic circle myself.

After, like, 30 minutes I asked "Can't I just make some generic circle or a pentagram or some shit?"

"No" Both of them said at the same time.

Mom said. "You NEED to learn how to make a magic circle with the Gremory Symbol. It's not only to appear good in society. It serves for others to know that you are you. If you teleport to a place, even if friendly, with a symbol that is not recognized, depending on where you are, they may just outright undo your magic circle, canceling the teleport or wait until you appear to then immediately attack you."

Grayfia complemented "And you need to learn how to do it perfectly because if you want to use it in combat, any fluctuation in the circle or your casting might end up messing up its effect and, when you start to learn enchantments, knowing how to perfectly make a perfect symbol that causes an effect will help you immensely."

…Damn. "Fine."

I start the process to make it one again. It's different from my previous training because I'm now not making something to throw, I have to make something that is absurdly thin, that has to stay in a fixed point and ALSO has a perfect shape and symbol and that (for now) shouldn't explode..

I've tried for an hour or two on my basic estate but…

"You almost got it sweetie, but the shape is still lacking"

"It's too small for you to put a spell on it with your current abilities."

"Should we take a rest? You last tries are getting a little more unbalanced"

"You made it needlessly thick"

…I know that they are encouraging me, but after failing for so long I've been getting more and more pissed off so, before I said something that I would regret, I gave up and just used my yellow white mode to learn it. It took 10 minutes for me to finally get it perfectly but I did it.

I kept practicing it as much as I could and, by the end of the day, I could perfectly add a magic circle in the ground or even in the air with any color that I wanted and even make it invisible.

It's nice to be able to spend time with her again. I will be a little bit sad when she goes back to living in Kuoh, but it is for the best that she learns how to live (mostly) on her own.

I was delighted when she invited me to her training. She probably said to make me stop Fia's scolding but I could see that she didn't really mind me joining. It made me happy not only to know that she wants us to be a family, it is also relieving to be able to see what she can do.

… However, there is something that I need to know first.

Rias was preparing dinner for us and asked us to wait until she called. So, while Grayfia and I were on the living room sofa, I took the opportunity to ask.

"Grayfia"

"Yes?"

"How… how much does her transformation change her?"

Sirzechs and Grayfia explained to us the basics of her new powers and her changes in personality, but seeing it was a completely different thing.

She hesitates a little bit. "... It mostly depends on which state she is in. Some resemble a little bit of her old self, like one of her yellow eyes that resembles her younger self when she was really excited with something new that she found or wanted."

"But instead of her natural emotions, it is mostly some trigger that she can do?"

"It appears to be that way… however there have been moments when she entered different states and it was not voluntary, either when she gets too upset… or excited"

Ah yes, the whole hell saw her fight with Riser. But the way she said it, it seems that there were more occasions. "How so?" I asked.

She explained how excited Rias was when she got this time resort. "Please tell me that you have that on camera."

She smiled and showed me her phone. The video shows a point of view from her breast, where she has an extremely small camera on her apron. It showed Rias rising from the sofa and running to Grayfia with one of her eyes changed to black and yellow.

We would probably spend hours watching what Grayfia had in her phone but Rias called us for dinner.

I shall get those videos later.

The next day was teaching her how to start adding effects into the circles so that they were not just decorations.

We thought that it would take longer but she got it amazingly quick. 3 hour into the training, she was already making circles with simple effects such as traps with explosions of different elements, making solid constructions that appear when the circle is touched and even some invisible circles with a magic that neither me nor Grayfia could read it, I asked what these do but she just said "Don't worry about it, just don't step on it."

She did have some mishaps, sometimes the circles exploded because she tried to make it faster, however she could easily do it when she took her time so it was enough. With that done we started teaching her the next step, how to teleport.

We started with the basic concepts, such as trying to imagine the dimensions X, Y and Z. To imagine herself at a different place and the exact place she wants to go.

She was frowning. "I don't get it."

Grayfia and I looked at eachother. We discussed the possibility that she was better at grasping concepts that she could somehow touch or emulate.

"Do you want to learn how to make magic barriers first?" Grayfia suggested to her the option we had prepared. With this she would understand more how to interact with the "space" around us.

Rias thought about it for a few seconds but shook her head. "Nah, I want to teleport first. Can't you just make me some teleportation circles so that I can read them?"

…Since when was she this good at reading magic circles?

Most beings that are capable of magic can more or less feel when the magic circle is about to activate. But even 2 circles with the exact same form can have different effects. So reading magic circles requires a little bit more skill in understanding the details of the magic it is supposed to activate.

We went with her suggestion and made many different types of circles and Rias started playing around with them. We changed the sizes, the colors, the emblems, the formats, made some that could be teleported back and forth and others that were just one way teleports.

After 30 minutes she decided that it was enough and tried to make one herself. She did succeed but got distracted for a second and made it so that only she was teleported, without her clothes She did immediately cover herself with her power with a great amount of speed before we even realized what happened. Other times she only teleported her clothes, but that seemed to be done deliberately. Later She did manage to perfectly teleport, but she seemed to like the Idea of teleporting objects and continued on with her tests.

Learning that she can read magic circles easily it's a nice surprise. I do believe that she has a really good talent with magic and her new… "forms", for better or worse, seem to enhance her abilities. But even the most talented person would need some practice to be able to confidently

While I was lost in my thoughts I felt myself stepping on something. Before I could even do anything I felt a magic circle activating and reaching both Grayfia and me for less than a second. It was one of her invisible circles that she managed to hide. When I was about to do something I noticed that it was already over… and that my underwear was destroyed.

I stopped for a second to think what in Satan's name happened when I heard Rias snickering. I looked towards her and she was trying to contain her laugh.

… This is Issei's spell isn't it? When did she learn it?... and how could she do it so perfectly—- Oh…

Oh my…

"Rias, dear~"

She stopped snickering because she sensed my tone changing.

"When did you learn your pawn's spell? And how can you do it perfectly? And when did you practice reading magic circles before our training?"

Her face morphs into a sheepish expression as she starts reddening in embarrassment as I speak.

"I want to hear ALL about it~"

We stayed two more days training in the chamber just so that we could train teleportation with my other forms. They would have teached me the basics of making magic barriers but they didn't want to overwhelm me, so we left the chamber at the end of day 4, or after 4 hours on the outside. Mom didn't start teaching me about managing business, money and shit yet, she decided to leave it for another time.

Since I thought it could be a nice tradition to have and because I still had time to kill until I had to go and meet Sona, I suggested that we also spend the last day just hanging around inside the chamber. Mom and Grayfia didn't mind, since it was not going to get in the way of their schedule. We also brought Millicas to my resort to play and I did manage to get him a little bit into Pokemon.

It might be counter intuitive to want to kill time in a place where time goes slower but I didn't care.

Overall it was fun… but it might not have been the best idea to prank them.

I'm almost certain that they are going to find a way to get the scene of Mom interrogating me about Issei and Mine's training into whatever album volume they have. Hell, that is going to be an embarrassing thing to see…

But that is a future Me problem. What's important is that now I can fucking teleport!

School should be over by now so I immediately go to the room where my peerage usually appears when they teleport back here and wait for them.

I remembered that I didn't know where her council room was in school so I was going to text her again until I felt the mana circle appearing in the room and my peerage appeared from the circle.

"Hey guys" I say to them as I start to reverse engineering their magic circle so it can bring me to where they teleported from. "Bye guys."

I heard Akeno saying "Wait wh—" as I teleported into a room that I assume to be my club room at school.

Man, their faces as I disappeared were funny. I would just let them be confused but they'll probably worry and follow me, so I just text them that I'm going to Sona's.

As I send them my message I see that Sona texted me.

Sona: Rias, there is an unexpected situation. Can you wait a while?

Me: I mean I could

Me: Or I could help

She immediately responded.

Sona: No

Sona: No

Sona: It is fine. It is just that My sister is here to visit me.

Oh.. The maou leviathan herself. Sona told me many great things about her but also her more… "exotic" traits. I know more or less how my family is with just these few days/weeks but Sona knows even more than me what it's like to have a loving but a little overwhelming family.

Me: Then I'm fine waiting

Me: Or we change to another day

I could see that she was writing a message back but it's not sending back. While I was waiting for it. I received a message from Maou Leviathan Herself.

Leviathan-Sama: Ria-tan you're finally out! I wanted to see you but your sisters were being mean and not letting me! I'm with So-tan. Are you okay now? Do you need help getting here?

Shit, I was not expecting her, she probably wouldn't mind me speaking casually but just in case gonna go polite.

Me: Hello Leviathan-sama. I'm okay now. If you were fine with having me I would be happy to join the both of you.

Leviathan-Sama: Yay!

Me: I'm at my club room in the old building. Can you ask Sona to tell me how to get from where I am to the student council room?

I probably waited for only a second before I felt a magic circle appearing, me being grabbed and then teleported. I couldn't do shit.

Next second I was in another room, looking at Sona while she was sitting down on her chair looking wide eyed at me while I was being carried in the arms of Serafall Leviathan, who then said "So-tan I brought a gift!"

I looked at her, looked at sona and, while trying not to laugh, said "Hello So-tan. I am the gift."

Sona stared at me for a few seconds until she just slowly lowered her head into her hands. I could see her ears turning red.

AN: Hey, it's been a while. I wasn't in the mood to write for a great part of dezember so I ended up only writing by the end of it and this second week of 2025.

I wanted to finally get Sona in person in the story but I didn't want to rush it. So I left it like this to start the other chapter with it.

I like Serafall and I was thinking of ways to get her to appear. Before I just would have Rias text her and they meet on a different occasion like it was going to do with Sona but this way with the three of them felt more fun.

I will let Rias and Sona talk alone, but first they have to deal with Serafall.

It will (probably) not take 2 months to release another chapter again.
