It had been two weeks since Tess had visited the Zomad's with Zan, Lonnie and Rath. This was there last week visiting. Tess was looking through the kitchen cabinet for her favorite cup, she found it behind a few other cups. Nasado was coming over to see how she had been doing. Tess walked out the kitchen and heard a knock at the door. When she answered it, Nasado was there, and she let him in the apartment. He told her about somethings he had been doing in NYC, he was getting some paper work to look over from the mayor of the town, for a new drilling project. He asked how she had been doing, and Tess answered that she had been visiting the Zomads. He said that he remembered them from before there trip to earth. Nasado left shortly after the Zomad conversation, and said he would be back to check on her in a few weeks.
They were going to be visiting the Zomads that day. Zan, Lonnie, and Rath hadn't woken up yet. Tess went in to their room to see if he was awake and he was. He must have just woken up because he was still a little sleepy. Tess went over and sat by him, and he leaned in to kiss her. They were meeting with gram and Wanda the next day to talk about another activity they could look into. Zan got up and went into the bathroom and Tess heard the shower running. Tess went through her bag and packed a light jacket, the Zomads had wanted to take a small trip and it could get a little wet where they were going. They said it was a surprise and they would tell them after they were at the Zomad estate.
They took the subway there and walked to the estate. Denny answered the door that time and let them in the house. He said that Marsha, Hera, and Camran were going with them. They were taking Marsha's car, and it was parked by Marsha's house. Denny would take his own car with Camran. Tess followed Zan over to Marsha's home, she had a mini van outside her home that was a red color. Marsha said hello to them, and invited them to get in the car. Tess sat next to Zan in the back of the drove to a parking lot beside a big bridge, Marsha got out then waited for Denny to pull in. He came a few minutes later, and after he got out the car he and Camran walked over.
Marsha turned to them and said that this was governor Cuomo's bridge, it was named after him. She them went on to tell the group how it was built, with large blocks of bricks and drilling. She then talked about how the water from the ocean floated up the river and went around the pillars, and the pillars had been protected from the salt in the water with a top of the line enhancement. She asked us to walk down the path almost a mile to a barge that was in the water. Tess walked behind Zan as Marsha led the way. When we stopped at the barge, it was mostly empty. Marsha then explained that the salt in the water had caused a slight change to the boats painted outside. Marsha then said she wanted them to see this because, the spaceships sometimes had a little trouble lifting off the ground. She thought that they should be aware of the situation because, she heard they might be traveling to a planet in the future. Tess thanked her for showing them, and said she remembered the spaceships she was talking about. She or Zan never had the problem, that she knew of, she'd ask Nasado about it next time she saw him. Marsha asked if they were ready to head back, and Zan said yes. After getting back to the Zomads estate, it was time to go back to their home. Zan said goodbye and Denny waved as they walked out of the driveway.
On the way home, the subway ride was a fast one. The subway had some stops that no one was standing at, and there were home a little earlier than usual. Tess went into the kitchen to get a drink, when she went out of the room. Zan was sitting on the couch watching the television. She sat down with him, the news was on and they were talking about the weather. Tess thought of how the weather would be in Antar, according to her memory's, it would be slightly warmer than what it was in NYC.
