The following morning, all of those who had returned from the Ever After were talking with those who stayed behind.
"You were stuck there for years, Jaune?" asked Ren.
"And you're also the Rusted Knight from the story?" asked Emerald.
"I am, and let me tell you that the story is nothing like what actually happened, the truth is far worse than what you may think," said Jaune.
"What about everyone here, what were you all up to while we were gone?" asked Blake.
"We have just been living and doing everything we can to survive," said Nora.
"Everytime the Grimm would show up we went out and fought them along with the soldiers," she said.
"The biggest thing would have to be Crow and Winter," said Emerald.
"What about them?" asked Ruby and Weiss.
"They have been sharing a single bedroom house for a while now," said Nora.
"No way," said team RWBY and Jaune while looking at her with shocked expressions.
"Not for sure what happened but they suddenly moved in together when Crow got here the day after you all had vanished," said Ren.
"At least there was no crazy bridge involved for them to end up together," said Yang before kissing Blake's hand.
"Yeah, tell us more about that," said Emerald.
