I'm too lazy to do anything fancy like separate paragraphs or nice font, so from now on Whisp has these '-' to surround her text. For example,
-You're so annoying.-
Also, my text will be the way it is now and Zenna's will be surround by apostrophes.
'You're so lazy!'
I know. Now please, try to go easy on me. I have terrible writer's block on this book and I have the urge to write relationship problems, so the faster I do this the faster I can get to the portal arc and make the greatest crossover ever and be confused the entire time then crush you under the weight of the sad music I'm listening to.
'Oh gosh, no! Midnight, save me!-'

It's been a few hours since the ceremony. It wasn't all that long ago, but it felt like centuries. I miss the gang, it's hard for me to get used to being alone after all this time.
Even after the main five episodes, I still hadn't been able to leave the game. Not that I even wanted to. Though, it'd be much nicer to have my old bed. Or at least maybe a blanket of some sort.
I don't have a place of my own, and I didn't feel like I was good enough friends with anyone to just invade their house. I've decided to live in a dirt hut I made in a tree.
Yeah, I'm homeless. So what? Jesse lived in a treehouse too! I mean, I'm pretty sure he didn't actually live there, but still!
Look, it may be so embarrassing that I decided not to tell anyone, but it's still good. I get a larger space to decorate in comparison to my old room! It's perfect to live in until I figure out how to get an actual house.
Now, Whisp. Me and her… we haven't talked since Reuben's demise. That's okay. I'm alright with that, I'll be fine without her for now.
I have no currency. But! I went mining and managed to get just enough to afford a change of clothes. Now I'm sporting a green shirt, some jeans, and a cream cardigan. I also found some black flats. It's weird what people leave outside in the middle of nowhere. I hope they're okay.
'Oh gosh, please don't let that be foreshadowing..'
Anyways, Lukas went off to do… whatever he's doing. I don't really remember, the last time I played this game I got busy and didn't make it past Ivor's boring history lesson about how his friends are idiots and frauds. I'm so glad I got locked out of the fireplace trapdoor.
If you couldn't tell, Lukas left without telling me. What a great friend, eh? It's probably for the best, I was acting like a creep. Staring him down and talking to nobody but him? Sounds really creepy.
It's kind of lonely out here, y'know? I kinda miss everyone. My old friends used to say I'm just a big baby, since I'm so clingy. It's true, I won't deny it.
It's alright, I'm more mature now. I'm sure my mom would be proud of me!
'...What happened to her?'
The question weighed on me like breezeblocks.(OoUuOoUu~*Dream sequence*~uUoOuUoO)
'These sounds are getting annoying! It'll just draw things to me!'
The sound of rustling leaves had been following me the entire time. Not one moment did it stop. Finally, I found out why.
I couldn't see their face, it'd been blacked out. The sight was one to behold, and it made me scream as I scooted away as fast as I could.
It was too late.I was wide awake now, rain and thunder assuring me I was indeed just dreaming. I felt a draft come through the walls and shivered. I was beginning to regret my choice in living arrangements.
Rain was always my favorite. The sound of it pitter-pattering against the roof, the serene, safe feeling it gives you, the chilled feeling of it leaking onto you through the cracks in the ceilings and walls, and the smell of dew forming on the tips of grass in the morning.
For some reason, this time was different.
The sounds did nothing to soothe me, and the hut was just getting more and more cold until it became almost unbearable.
It filled me with dread.
Dread for the next day, dread for the next talk with the gang, dread for the nightmares that might go through my mind the second I fall asleep.
'I'm just being silly,' I thought.
'I should go back to sleep.'For the next few days, I did close to nothing. It was quite boring waiting for something to happen. For instance, maybe for the storyline to continue? Nope, nothing.
I simply skipped the town gatherings, they were boring to be honest. So basically, I'm a hermit now! Good job, me.
Me and Whisp have been talking quite a bit more lately. I mean, not much more, but still.
My birthday was coming up soon at least. Maybe I'll have the gang come celebrate with me? Though, I don't quite know if they know my birthday is coming up. Do they? I can't quite remember.
No no, they know. I remember now. I told Olivia while I was bored at some point and she went and told the others like a jerk. Well, I suppose she was just trying to be thoughtful or something. At least I can celebrate with them, I guess. There's a part of me that doubts that.I haven't hung out with Jesse's gang in a while. Jesse asked me if I wanted to go raid some tomb thing last night, but I politely refused. I wish I had said yes, because they finally found the flint and steel. The only reason I knew this was because I had just now seen Lukas enter Jesse's weird mansion thing on my way to buy some things.
I've gotten over my weird obsession with Lukas. However, I go back to old habits now and again, so this might not last. Never hurts to try nonetheless.
'Well, guess it's time to enter Jesse's house uninvited so I can join their cool portal hop adventure!'
I walked into the humongous house thing, making sure to wipe my shoes of dirt before entering. Got to have manners, especially when entering the house of the world's "savior".
I had forgotten Lukas was in there. It seemed Lukas had heard me walk in, because he turned and stared at me. It was extremely awkward.
"Oh, Lukas, um.. hi. Apologies, I was just looking for Jesse. Is he here?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, uh…" He avoids my eyes, trying (and failing) to hide his shock at me being here. "It's fine, no worries. Uh.. no, he must be out or something," He replied, finally looking at me.
I mouthed an 'oh' and began to stare at random things, trying to shake off his stare. I then took a breath and moved slightly closer to him so I would actually talk to him instead of being weird like Jesse and just standing there.
"So, how have you been?" I ask.
"Good. How about you?"
"Fine, perfectly fine."
'...This conversation is going great and is not at all awkward or uncomfortable. Of all times for Whisp to be busy, why now?'
I looked him in the eyes.
...which was hard, since he was now admiring Jesse's loot.
"So Lukas, it's.. been quite a while, hasn't it?"
He nodded at my statement, glancing over at me.
"It has been a while, maybe we should hang out more often." He said simply.
I don't know why, but that made me perk up.
'...am I really that much in need of socializing?.'
"Yeah, we should," I finally say.
"Cool, cool."
"Cool beans."
"Coolio."
I smirked and he chuckled lightly, a deep but soft laugh.
It was a pleasant chat, especially after all this time and all that had happened. In fact, I sort of missed this.
'Goodness, I really am in need of social contact…'
We stood there a bit longer looking at the treasures until we heard the door open. Jesse walked over with the others and spotted us, excited to see Lukas and ultimately ignoring me like usual.

I'm sorry for this terrible chapter, but it's really hard to wright this, haha. How do you do it, Legend? Anyway, I'm gonna go brainstorm story ideas and wright and stuff.
'You better! I was getting super bored.'
Heh, I know. Bye!
'Bye!!'
