The sight, despite gorgeous, was intimidating.

"So, now what do we do?" Asked Petra.

"Well, there's thousands of portals to go through, better start now!" Asserted Jesse.

Thus, we started portal hopping. Well, to be completely honest, we only went in one portal, happening to get a terrible one on the first try.

The falling part was oddly comforting, despite my fear of heights. The crash landing? Not so much. It was a huge, grassy forest. There were trees and cliffs and lakes, all beautiful scenery for such a terrible place.

Mentally groaning, I got up and waited for the others to do the same. Jesse got up with a bat plastered to his face. What is with this game and bat abuse? That bat shouldn't still be alive.

Jesse started listing off stuff immediately, being the leader we all give him credit for. "Okay, guys. I'm seeing grass, forests, lots of ground in all directions. All good signs so far…"

"Ahem!" Ivor pointed to the sky.

I immediately looked up. Seeing our reactions, Jesse turned to see what Ivor was referring to as well.

"Aha."

Well, there were indeed two moons.

"Verdict says, definitely not our world. You owe me two iron, Lukas, pay up!" Petra declared.

"Okay okay, here," He handed her the ingots, looking quite bleak.

"I told you it was a dumb bet," Zenna huffed.

"Fine, you were right. I suppose I should listen to you more."

"Thank you."

Jesse perked up all of the sudden.

"Aw, come on! Can't you hear it?" He exclaimed.

Petra replied confusedly, "Uh, spooky forest?"

Jesse rolled his eyes.

"It's the sound of a new adventure!" He grinned.

I couldn't help but not share his excitement, being too busy focusing on the large objects falling from the sky. No wait, those definitely weren't objects. While Jesse was gushing over our new adventure, I moved slightly back to prevent being squished. I tapped Lukas' shoulder. He looked at me with a questioning look on his face and I pointed up to the sky. Seeing what I was gesturing to, he scooted back beside me just in time to see them fall on the others.

They were people. People who looked suspiciously similar to us. Well, except me and one girl who fell from the sky. We looked quite different, despite her and me being the only ones without a look alike, insinuating we were supposed to be similar. She had purple hair.

Maybe that was supposed to be our similar feature? Unnaturally colored hair? Decent appearance of authority, like we know everything that's going on? Well, at this very moment, I was completely caught off guard, and she seemed to be the same way.

The look-alikes scrambled up, Jesse groaning under the weight of his and Lukas' look-alikes. Ivor had gotten crushed by his, and Petra her's, the two of her fuming with irritation and confusion. The purple haired girl had fallen into a bush, making a better landing than anyone else to the relief of her and anyone she would have landed on. She practically jumped to her feet and stared at us. I stared right back at her, mouth agape in pure shock and slight fear. I quickly shook off the expression. I took a breath to say something, when suddenly zombies started joining us in our little meetup, groaning and swiping at the air like it was going to do something.

"Quick, read the book!" I shrieked at Jesse.

He looked like he was going to ask what book I was talking about, when the other Jesse scrambled over to the invitation and started speed-reading out loud for us to hear as the rest of us fought the zombies. Well, everyone except the purple haired girl. It appeared she had no weapon.

"Guys! I don't have anything to fight with! My axe broke during the battle!" She shouted to her friends.

The people heard her and Lukas' look alike went over to fight anything near her.

At that moment, I remembered my bow that has literally been sitting in my inventory since I got my axe. Like, seriously, I straight up forgot about that thing. I ran over to and handed it to her along with some arrows. She quickly shouted a 'thank you' and started shooting at zombies, missing once or twice, but overall doing way better than I usually do. She's obviously been more productive than me in training, I should probably work on that.

"Please look out for zombies. Sincerely, the host."

After the Jesse look-alike finished reading, he immediately pulled out his sword and helped clear out the rest of the zombies who had spotted us.

"Nice warning!" The two Lukas…es? said in unison.

"Come on, there's the path!" The two Jesses said at once.

The four seemed shocked at the fact they'd said the exact same thing as their look-alike, but the rest of us didn't give them time to question it.

We all ran ahead, racing to the mansion to get away from one type of danger into another. No race took place, everyone was in too much shock to care about a trivial game like that at a moment like this.

Once we made it to the mansion, we all realized the lack of a way in.

"That front door's definitely a no-go," One of the Petras exclaimed.

"Stick with me, guys!" One of the Jesses whispered quite loudly.

Nobody knew which Jesse he was other than him and the other Jesse, so no one knew who he was talking to. Nonetheless, everyone followed him. We wove through the mass of zombies, only for the Jesse we were following to jump on the heads of zombies in order to cross a pond. Most of the others just about jumped over the pond, but me and the purple haired girl simply went around, seeing as we're obviously the smartest people here. The Jesses spotted our host and shouted about him- her- …let's just call her 'the host' for now. We moved into an area that was far less populated with zombies.

"Great! There's no door back here! How are we supposed to get in?!" Shouted one of the Ivors, attracting the attention of even more zombies like an idiot.

One of the Jesses immediately called our attention to the window, then the other one suggested using the wood from the surrounding trees. We immediately began to collect wood, afterwards building the staircase and destroying the bottom so that nothing could get us. We got to the window and the Jesses smashed it without hesitation, asking afterwards if we thought the host would mind.

"Well, it's a little too late to go back now," Said the purple haired girl-

'Okay, I need to get her name so I don't have to keep calling her that.'

Hesitantly, I held my hand out like I'm meeting an employer for an interview.

"Uh, hi! Uh... so.. what's your name?" I asked the girl, feeling an odd sense that this was a stupid way of getting people's names after something like that.

"I- uh… Midnight?" She said it like it was a question, most likely just as confused about what was happening as me.

Wait, Midnight? Like, the Midnight from that book I read?! I shook my head. No, it must just be a coincidence. I mean, she looks the same and has the same name as the girl from the book and has the same relationship with the, what I'm assuming to be a different version of, Lukas. But obviously that just can't mean anything- oh crap, she IS the girl, isn't she!?

"I-I'm Zenna, nice to meet you?"

I could see her eyes widen. She seemed to recognize me as well, which would obviously be impossible. Unless…?

I mentally sighed, then walked up to Midnight, keeping distance so that I wouldn't spook her. Though, I doubt I could scare such an impressive person as her. I motioned to a corner of the room and we walked over.

"It appears that we have a world problem," I mumbled.

"Yes, you're the girl from the book I read," She said, seemingly not as surprised that something new was happening as me, but instead more excited.

"You're from the book I read as well," I chuckled, pulling out the book and showing her it.

She seemed fascinated by it, but her attention was grabbed by something else suddenly. I could hear it as well, footsteps. I put away the book and we walked back over to our respective group, who had appeared to have come to the same conclusion about the look-alike problem thing as well. The others suddenly noticed me and Midnight's sudden abruptness and heard the voices of the people who were coming. I braced myself to see one of the YouTubers who I had watched at a very young age, Sir Sparkly-man… Captain Sparklez.

Oh, and there was also TorqueDawg.

"I think we could avoid a lot of unpleasantness if-"

"What the!!!"

'Wow, TorqueDawg is severely annoying.'

-Didn't anyone ever tell you 'don't speak ill of the dead'?-

'He isn't dead yet, so I can think whatever I want about him. Also, I'm not speaking, I'm thinking.'

"Hi," Said one of the Jesses- this is getting tiring.

"Oh, ha ha ha, very, very funny. Show up super late, make us all sit and wonder what the heck is going on… this is your house, right? Because if it is, we've all been waiting for, like, hours! It's rude!"

One of the Jesses spoke up, "We got one of these invitations too! What the heck is going on here?"

"Darn…" Mumbles Sparklez. "Sorry for the language…"

I stare at him in confusion.

'Didn't he used to curse in his videos? Why does he care if he says darn- oh wait, that's the joke… well, I'm dumb.'

"That wasn't about you getting an invitation, just that I was hoping you could explain things. This is TorqueDawg.."

"Sup."

"And I'm Captain Sparklez! Though, maybe you know that already."

I practically jump in excitement.

"My friends don't know much about you," I started. "But I'm a big fan."

He smiled, seemingly satisfied that at least someone here knew about him. The others- besides Midnight, seemed surprised that I knew about him, but basically forgot about it as they got lost in the conversation once more.

"I'm Jesse, this is Lukas, uh… Lukas… Petra, and… Petra… Ivor… Ivor… and that over there is… well, Jesse. She," He pointed at me. "Is Zenna."

I waved.

The other Jesse finished for him, "And she's Midnight."

Midnight smiled and said a quick 'hello.'

Captain Sparklez seemed confused with the fact that four out of six of us had clones, but TorqueDawg was either oblivious, or simply didn't care.

"Jesse? That's a girl's name. What are you guys anyway? Some sorta loser patrol?"

"TorqueDawg!" Sparklez hissed under his breath.

"Oh c'mon, that was hilarious!"

"Actually, we're the Order of The Stone. Legendary heroes, kind of a big deal."

The way he said it made me groan.

'He needs to stop taking the bait, jerks love it when you get upset. I should know, I get upset really easily sometimes.'

"Pfft, legendary heroes? I ain't never heard of you."

"TorqueDawg, cool it! That sea of zombies has us all trapped, so we just need to try our best to get along."

"Worst. Day. Ever!"

"Just try and look on the bright side…"

"Wait, how many more people are in this place?"

"Counting us, seven?"

"Wow, that's seventeen people in all…" I mumbled to myself.

"Mm-hm, most of them useless. I tell you what, the minute all them weird zombies are gone, TorqueDawg is outta here!" He spat.

"Okay, good to hear, so the sea of zombies isn't normal.."

"Two moons is normal though, right?"

"Um, the moons, yeah…" Mumbled Sparklez.

"Why don't you know about this stuff? You from, like, outta town, or somethin'?"

Suddenly, it's all dark.

"Wha-"

"What now?!"

The sound of a lever getting pulled is heard, along with a dispenser spitting out something and TorqueDawg groaning in pain.

"SOMETHING TOUCHED MY FOOT!" The Ivors shrieked.

"What's up with the lights?" Asked one of the Lukases- oh, you get the point.

"Hey, what's going on?" One of the Jesses asked.

Suddenly, the lights powered on with a loud whirring noise. TorqueDawg was on the ground, looking like a pincushion with all the arrows stuck in him.

"Hey, Jesse… Jesse… Jesses. C'mere," He groaned. "You two's got, a girls name…" His eyes rolled back into his head as he groaned in pain one last time.

What delightful last words, so awe-inspiring. And just like that, he poofed into nothingness.

Well, that was interesting... I didn't write much Midnight and Zenna stuff, but at least I got pretty far into the story!

'Stop writing a ton in one chapter!'

...Nah. Anyways, bye guys!

'Wait, I- oh, whatever. Bye!'
