Going to do something interesting here and bring back some first person for a bit.

In the middle of the night after decoding Franz Hopper's Diary, Jeremy and Josh went back to the lab in the factory to go through more of Franz Hopper's notes, logs and videos on details about the super computer and Xana. While Jeremy focused on watching the video logs, Josh focused on the typed logs that contained details on the inner-workings of the supercomputer, Lyoko and Xana.

Around lunch time the rest of the group came to the lab looking for Josh and Jeremy. "We've been looking everywhere for you two." Odd said walking out of the elevator. "I spent the whole night watching Franz Hopper's video logs." Jeremy said, turning towards them. "And I spent that time pouring over all of the typed logs and system information hoping to find a way to free myself from the supercomputer." Josh said. "We both found something interesting tho, let me show you." Jeremy said bring up the video log. He started playing it where he had left off before they walked in.

"June 6th, 1994, day 97. Project Carthage was a military program used to block enemy communications." Franz Hopper said in the recording. "Wait. It's further down." Jeremy said, jumping forward a bit. "So I built the Supercomputer. Created Lyoko. And last of all, Xana, to destroy Carthage." it stated, before Jeremy jumped further forward. "June 6th, 1994. Day 639." It said before Jeremy again jumped forward. "It's still further." He said. "June 6th, 1994. Day 1265. Someone's watching me. Someone wants to get rid of me! I wanted to destroy the Supercomputer, and destroy…all the evidence of my activities. That's when I discovered…one of its fascinating properties: returning to the past. It gave me all the time I could possibly need to perfect my great project. The only thing that would allow me to escape my enemies." It said, making everyone gasp a bit as Jeremy jumped forward again.

"June 6th, 1994. Day 2546." It said. "This is it." Jeremy said as the video continued playing. "The scanners and the virtualization programs are ready. In a few hours, I will go to Lyoko with Aelita. Just like me, Aelita will hold the Keys to Lyoko. Together, we will be the absolute masters. We will live together…forever." It said before the video cut off. "The Keys to Lyoko. I bet that's what Xana wants to steal from Aelita's memory." Jeremy said getting up. "But what could Xana do with those?" Ulrich asked. "Escape from the supercomputer and take over the world." She said bluntly before walking to the elevator.

In the lunchroom the group was having lunch when Jeremy finally showed up. "After you guys left, Josh figured out that I had been wrong all along, about what Xana did to Aelita." Jeremy said before sitting down as Josh also joined them. "What do you mean?" Ulrich asked, eating still. "Well, I thought that Xana had given Aelita a virus, so I have been looking for an anti-virus. And since Josh found out what's actually going on, I will let him continue." Jeremy said. "I was studying the materialization code and noticed that if all of the data of someone's virtual form isn't present it would refuse to devirtualize them, it has multiple checks to insure you don't devirtualize with anything missing. I remembered that Code: Earth has some code that generates some data that Aelita had been missing, and realized that that's what was actually going on." Josh explained. "In English please." Odd said not really understanding. "In short, Xana didn't give Aelita a virus, he actually took something from her that Code: Earth replaced." Jeremy said. "What did he take?" Yumi asked. "Well Josh and I aren't really sure, but we managed to locate it in Sector Five." Jeremy replied.

"That's great, although we still won't be able to shut down the supercomputer due to Josh's issue of needing it." Ulrich said. "We should go and get it tonight. After the end of the year school dance." Odd said. "Yeah, We shouldn't give Xana a chance to hide it." Ulrich said. Aelita stood up looking upset. "Out of the question." She said before walking off. Jeremy got up and followed her to see what had her so upset. "Aelita! Wait! What's the matter?" Jeremy asked, walking to her side. "I won't go back to Lyoko unless there is an activated tower. " Aelita said. "But why? What's gotten into you?" Jeremy asked. "I refuse to endanger yous and the world any more than I have to…" Aelita said softly, looking down. "Aelita… We will get your fragment back, then you will be free, then we just have to free Josh and we can shut down the supercomputer." Jeremy said. "What if it goes wrong? What if Xana gets a hold of the Keys to Lyoko in my memory. Or gets them even after we retrieve my missing data but before we can free Josh." Aelita said walking off still sounding upset. Josh got up from the table. "I think I am going to go to the factory and study Franz Hopper's notes some more." Josh said before waving to the group as he left.

After lunch Yumi, Odd and Ulrich were standing outside where the dance was going to be when Jim made an announcement. "Right. For all you party animals with short memory spans, I'd like to remind you that uh… What was I…saying? Oh, yeah! During the end of the year dance, any overly suggestive dancing, wild behavior or trouble making, will be severely punished! Uh, that's all. Enjoy yourselves." Jim said before walking away. "So Odd, who are you going with?" Ulrich asked curiously. "So far, I don't have anyone to take to the dance. Fortunately, I've got a way with women." Odd said before walking away towards one of the girls. "Hi! Wanna go to the dance with me?" Odd asked. "I thought I told you never to speak to me again!" The girl yelled. "Oh… Sorry" Odd replied.

"Hey! Who are you going with, anyway?" Ulrich asked Yumi who was standing next to him. "Well…I was hoping to talk to you about it…" Yumi replied nervously as William walked by. "Hi, Yumi. Can I…talk to you for a second? I…" William said, sort of grabbing her arm and pulling her away from Ulrich. "I get the idea." Ulrich said to himself as Odd and Sissi walked over to him. "Yoo-hoo! What do you say to taking the prettiest girl in school to the dance?" She asked, sounding full of herself. "Uh, you mean Anais Fiquet? No, she's going with Christopher M'Bala." Odd said. "I meant me, stupid." Sissi responded, sounding annoyed. "Well?" She asked, looking at Ulrich. Ulrich looked over at Yumi and William talking before replying. "Ok. I'll go to the dance with you." Ulrich replied. "Oh! Oh…r-really? Uh, well, uh…great! See you tonight!" Sissi said, stumbling over her words a bit in surprise that he actually said he would go with her. "I'd rather look like a big loser and go by myself than go with someone like…like her!" Odd said as he and Ulrich began walking away from the area. "Let it go, Odd." Ulrich said.

Meanwhile Aelita had walked over to the factory, planning on preventing Xana from ever escaping the supercomputer. When she got there she found Josh doing research on Franz Hopper's notes. (A.N. Going to do something I haven't done in a while, going to jump to First person for a bit since I want to start using it a bit more again. It's going to be very important in the chapters around Season 3 of the show. The following will be first person in Josh's point of view until the next author note saying it's back to 3rd person.)

I looked up from the computer towards the elevator hearing it's doors opening and seeing Aelita step out. "Aelita?" I asked, getting up. "Josh, I am happy your here, I need to talk to you. I want to shut down the supercomputer." She replied. "What?! But that will kill you." I said not really caring much that I would also basically stop existing. "And you as well, which is why I had to talk to you first. I want to stop Xana from ever getting the Keys to Lyoko. He can't be allowed to ever escape from the supercomputer. My life is a small price to pay to protect the world." She responded. "Aelita, I was going to suggest just shutting down the supercomputer after we got your missing memory anyways. My life, which isn't even real. Isn't worth continuing to endanger the world for. So if you want to shut it down now, then let's go turn it off together." I said walking towards her and gently grabbing her hand before walking to the elevator, the ride down to the supercomputer itself was silent. As the elevator opened, I noticed Aelita had a slight look of discomfort on her face. "Aelita, are you sure you want to do this?" I asked, also a bit nervous. "Yeah, I am sure." She replied walking towards the supercomputer, where she hit a button and the power switch appeared. "Josh, I want you to turn it off with me." She said, I walked over and grabbed the handle with her and we both pulled it down, shutting off the supercomputer. I watched as Aelita collapsed and after what seemed like a short while my vision began to grow foggy, and I started to stumble backwards with everything feeling heavy and the world seeming to get further and further away before I fell to the floor, unconscious.

(Okay back to 3rd person for now, going to jump to first person now and again this chapter)

By the vending machines Odd and Ulrich were relaxing when Jeremy approached them. "Have either of you two seen Aelita?" He asked. "No, why?" Urlich asked. "Well, I tried calling here and she's not answering, I tried calling Josh thinking maybe she went to the factory but he isn't answering either, on top of all that, the super computer isn't responding." Jeremy said, worried. "Think it's Xana?" Odd asked. "I don't know. But I am heading to the factory to check it out. I will keep everyone updated." Jeremy said walking toward the park to go to the factory.

As Jeremy left, Yumi walked over, causing both boys to stand up. "So Odd, find anyone to take to the dance yet?" She asked. "No,.." Odd said sort of trailing off before Sissi walked over and pushed past him to hand Ulrich a small blue box. "Yoo-hoo, Ulrich! Here, this is for you!" Sissi said smiling. "What is it?" Urlich asked, holding the box. "A surprise! See you tonight!" She said before walking away. "Okay, I get it." Yumi said, sounding a bit upset. "What? You are going with William to the dance, aren't you?" Ulrich said. "Is that a fact? Well you really don't get it do you." Yumi said angrily before walking off to head home. Odd looked over at Ulrich as if about to say something. "One more of your stupid proverbs, and you are dead." Urlich said holding up a finger before starting to walk away. "Ulrich has lost his head…and…should have stayed in bed!" Odd said following him. "Oh, wait wait, I got another one! Go with Sissi and your future's gloomy 'cause you're gonna lose Yumi!" Odd said, trying to catch up to Urlich who had started to run.

At the factory, Jeremy called up the elevator and headed down to the lab. Walking over to the computer he tried to walk its screen up but it refused to turn on. "Hm Something is seriously not right." He said to himself, heading back to the elevator to check on the supercomputer itself, as the doors to the elevator opened, he saw both Josh and Aelita laying on the floor, Aelita right next to the supercomputer while Josh was leaning up against the corner of the room. Jeremy flipped the supercomputer back on and raised Aelita up in his arms worriedly.

(A.N. Okay back to Josh first person for a bit.)

I opened my eyes, everything a little blurry hearing Jeremy panicking and seeing him holding Aelita in his arms. "Aelita! Please wake up…. Please" he said gently, shaking her. "Jeremy?" I asked, trying to sit up not feeling the greatest, as I was sitting up Aelita gasped a bit opening her eyes. "What is wrong with you two…. Why?" Jeremy asked. "To save the world.. To save you all." Aelita answered before I could say anything. "Josh… why did you let her do it?" Jeremy asked, looking over toward me. "Because I was going to do it once we got Aeltia's memory fragment back anyways. When we decoded Franz Hopper's Diary and found out that Aeltia was his daughter. That made me the only artificial being in existence. I am of no importance to this world, since I don't even belong in it, I am literally just a program made by a psychopathic AI." I said getting up using the wall for support. "Why should the world be endangered to try and save me, when we don't even know if I can be separated from the supercomputer." I added. "You both should know by now, that you both have a life here with us. Once we get Aelita's missing fragment, I am sure we will figure something out Josh." Jeremy replied, still holding Aelita in his arms.

(A.N. Back to third person until near the end of the chapter.)

Jeremy helped Aelita up before walking over to Josh. "So let's go get Aelita's fragment back." Jeremy said going to help Josh up. "Okay." Josh said not really making eye contact with him. "Relax, I am not mad at either of you. Mostly just worried about both of you." Jeremy said, patting him on the three walked into the elevator together heading up to the lab.

Back on campus in their room, Odd was still messing with Urlich over him having agreed to go with Sissi. "You should get ready! Your girlfriend's gonna be waiting for you." Odd said in a teasing voice. "Drop it, Odd". Urlirch said, annoyed. "Ok, I'm outta here. Who knows? Maybe I'll bump into a lonely heart." Odd said leaving the room. Ulrich looked over at the box Sissi had given him and unwrapped the present which was a small cube with different pictures of Sissi on each side. He then got up and tossed it on his bed before leaving the dorms to go talk to Yumi.

At Yumi's house Ulrich rang the doorbell and Hiroki answered the door. "Is Yumi home?" Ulrich asked politely. "YUMI! YOUR BOYFRIENDS HERE!" Hiroki yelled. Yumi quickly came to the door. "Beat it, Hiroki!" She said not liking his teasing he does anytime Ulrich is around or gets mentioned. "Well then? You're not at the dance with Sissi?" She asked. "I…don't really like…dancing. Even less with Sissi." Urlich replied. "Why are you here then?" Yumi asked. "I came to tell you something." Ulrich said nervously just before his phone began to ring. "Aren't you going to get that?" Yumi asked. Ulrich took out his phone and answered it. "Yes?" "It's me. You at the dance?" Jeremy asked, calling off the supercomputer. "No. I don't want to go." Urlich replied. "Glad to hear it. Josh, Aelita and I aren't going either. Come head over to the factory. It's mission time." Jeremy said "Let Odd and Yumi know too." He added before hanging up. "Jeremy wants us to head over to the factory." Ulrich said.

Meanwhile Odd had been trying to find someone to go to the dance. He walked up to a girl that was standing along. "Hi! Want to go to the…dance with me?" Odd asked. "Uh…alright! My name's Carla." She replied. "I'm Odd" Odd said, introducing himself. "Odd…Della Robbia?" Carla asked, a smile fading from her face. "The one and only!" Odd said cheerfully. "Uh…I'm sorry. I'm already seeing someone." She said before walking away, obviously not wanting to be involved with Odd.

Odd stood by himself for a second before his phone rang. "Hello?" He asked, answering it. "Odd. You at the dance?" Urlich asked. "Uh…yeah. I w- I-I mean, a-almost." Odd said, stumbling over his words a bit. "Right. Urgent meeting at the factory, we're taking the plunge." Ulrich said. "Oh, man! Just when I finally almost found a girl to go with!" Odd said in defeat before hanging up and heading to the factory.

At the factory the group was gathered in the Lab. "Okay, so here is the plan. We are going to recover Aelita's missing fragment from Sector Five, to bring us one giant step closer to finally being able to shut Xana down for good." Jeremy said. "Let's go then. I will lead the way" Odd said, walking towards the elevator. Aelita, Josh, Ulirch and Yumi followed him. "I will start up the virtualization process." Jeremy said, turning towards the console and starting to type as the group went into the elevator and headed down to the scanner room. Jeremy virtualized Yumi, Odd and Ulrich first. Then virtualized Josh and Aelita.

The group appeared above the ice sector before dropping to the ground. Seconds after they landed on the ground their vehicles appeared next to them. "Here are your vehicles. The edge of the sector is north-northeast. Josh, you need to ride along with someone." Jeremy said typing still.

The group got on their vehicles, Josh rode along with Urlich while Aelita went with Yumi. As they approached the edge of the sector they began to realize they had not encountered any monsters. "No monsters?" Jeremy asked. "No one at all. Don't you think that's weird?" Yumi asked. "It is a bit strange, could be Xana isn't expecting us or he is grouping up his forces elsewhere." Jeremy replied.

Once they reached the edge of the sector the group got off their vehicles and waited for Jeremy to call up the transporter. "I am calling the transporter now." Jeremy said typing in the codes to bring it up and the Scipo access code. A white sphere approached the edge of the sector and surrounded the group before rapidly accelerating towards Sector Five. Once it reached sector five it slowed before depositing the group into the central room.

"The wall is about to open." Aelita said, watching the wall. "You guys have three minutes to find the key. Once you do, I will configure the elevator to take you to where Aelita's fragment is." Jeremy said. As the wall opened the group ran through the corridor and entered into a large room. The group looked around for the key before Yumi spotted it across the room halfway up the wall. "I see it!" Yumi said pointing at it. "Out of reach as usual." Odd said, crossing his arms slightly. Suddenly parts of the walls began to open up, and creepers began to emerge. "Look out!" Odd yelled, noticing them, managing to shoot one of the creepers before any of them fired.

The creepers began firing on the group. Urlich ran forwards and began deflecting them away on one side and Yumi quickly moved to deflect them on the other. "Yumi head for the key, I will cover Aelita." Josh said getting ready to trade places with her, knowing she would have an easier time making her way up to the key. Yumi nodded before putting her fans away and running towards the key, dodging multiple lasers as she did so. Odd focused on shoot the creeper, he shot one, flipped up over another shooting it while doing so, before landing in front of a third. "Hi there, Creepers! Still as ugly as ever, huh?" Odd said waving in front of its face before jumping to the left as it fired a laser at him. He managed to dodge it and shot back, destroying the last of the few creepers that had been there. "Yumi, only one more minute to go." Jeremy said, watching the timer closely.

Yumi was slowly scaling the wall launching herself from ledge to ledge by swinging her legs to gain momentum. As she reached the top ledge a creeper stuck its face out and started to shoot at her. She moved from ledge to ledge dodging the lasers before getting under the creeper and flipping up to use her legs to throw the creeper off the ledge. "Just 10 seconds left." Jeremy said with a worry in his voice and Yumi quickly flipped herself on to the ledge proper and touched the key.

Josh ran towards one of the few creepers left and destroyed it while Ulrich and Odd took out the others. "Okay, I have configured the elevator, it should take you to the room where Aelita's fragment is." Jeremy said typing in the coordinates. The group walked through a passage that had opened and waited for the elevator to come around before hopping on to it. After traveling for a long while and the elevator switching directions multiple times it finally came to a stop where there was an open passage. As they walked into the room Ulrich noticed something across the way. "Jeremy, there is something shining like a light on the other side of the room." Ulrich said. Jeremy typed, quickly bringing up the room on his screen before locating Aelita's fragment where Urlich mentioned the light. "That's it. That's Aelita's missing fragment." Jeremy said.

The room consisted of a long path from the entrance that turned a 90 degree corner towards the fragment. Below the path was what seemed to be a large drop down towards a pile of fallen blocks of the same color as Sector Five's walls and floor. The group began walking down the path when platforms holding creepers appeared from the walls of the room and slowly moved towards the path. "Look out!" Yumi yelled as the creepers began firing upon them. She did a cartwheel and used her fans to block a laser that had been heading directly for Aelita. Yumi and Odd began attacking the creepers while Josh, Ulrich and Aelita ran ahead. As they did, more platforms with more creepers approached the main path and began to surround Yumi and Odd. "We better get out of here." Yumi said destroying the creepers blocking the path towards the others. "Go on. I will hold them off." Odd said as he destroyed multiple creepers in a row before running out of laser arrows. "Jeremy! I am all out." He said, trying to dodge the lasers from the creepers. Before Jeremy could reload him a creeper managed to land a hit and devirtualize him.

Josh, Ulrich and Aelita had stopped where there was a large gap in the path. "What now?" Urlich asked. "I have a plan." Yumi said. "We are going to toss each other across then the last person will just have to grab someone's hand." She said. The four grabbed a hold of each other's hands and ran towards the gap, tossing Aelita forward first to make sure she would make it. Next Josh and Urlich grabbed on the edge while Yumi was holding on to Ulrich's hand. Josh pulled himself up and stood next to Aelita. As Urlich was trying to pull Yumi up the creepers shot across the gap and devirtualized her. "Jeremy, Odd and Yumi are down." Ulrich said, looking back towards the creepers. "I know. Get Aelita's fragment and get out of there." Jeremy said, worried that things were going downhill.

As Yumi and Odd made their way to the lab the supercomputer began to be an alert tone. "The whole room is falling apart. Run for it!" Jeremy yelled into his mic seeing parts of the room beginning to fall on his display. The three ran towards Aelita's fragment but the blocks they were standing on began falling faster and faster until the three began to slip and started to fall. As they fell they were suddenly caught by flying manta. "Jeremy This is getting weird." Josh said looking down at the manta below him that had a blue sort of glow to it. "It maybe weird, but at least it's getting better. It's Franz Hopper controlling those manta." Jeremy said. The mantas set Josh and Ulrich at the base of a set of stairs that lead up to Aelita's fragment while the manta Aelita was on carried her fully up to the top where she got off and walked toward a basket ball sized glowing orb that had a small model of her virtual form in it. She reached out with both hands and touched it just for it to suddenly shatter and disappear. She backed away slightly in surprise. "Aelita? What happened?" Jeremy asked, confused why the fragment disappeared off his screens, as if it was destroyed. "I don't know, it just shattered." She replied when suddenly the ceiling of the room began to fall. "It's a trap…" Jeremy gasped seeing the room beginning to fall apart.

Ulrich and Josh looked up when they noticed part of the ceiling starting to fall. Josh began running up the staircase avoiding blocks as they fell, trying to reach Aelita. Ulrich focused on just trying not to get smashed, using his super sprint to dodge the blocks until he became cornered and a block landed on him. Before Josh could make it to Aelita the blocks in his path moved, isolating him and pulling him to the far side of the room as if Xana didn't want to devirtualize him. "Jeremy, this is weird. You think you can get my sword back? " Josh asked. "No. I still haven't found the right codes for it because your program is more heavily protected by the supercomputer for some reason." Jeremy said before a monster appeared on his screens.

Aelita looked over towards Josh with a look of pure fear on her face. "Aelita! Behind you!" Jeremy said, noticing the Scyphozoa on his screens. "Help me." Aelita said pleading. "Jeremy, what about a vehicle?" Josh asked. Jeremy started typing but was presented with error after error. "I can't.." Jeremy said, sounding defeated as the Scyphozoa took a hold of Aelita and the memory access screen appeared on the display. "I don't believe it.." Jeremy said as Urlich entered the lab from the scanner room. "There was nothing I could do." He said, sounding exhausted. On Lyoko Josh watched in horror as the Scyphozoa slowly drained Aelita's memory and there was nothing he could do about it. "NO!" He yelled, slamming his fist onto the wall on the sector.

In the lab the group was in shock. "Noooooo!" Jeremy cried out watching the numbers fall lower and lower.

"Jeremy….. I am am sorry" Josh said, kneeling down on the platform. The Scyphozoa soon released Aelita and laid her down on the platform it was on. In the lab the memory transfer screen was flashing red and sounding an alarm beep in a way to signify a critical level. "Aelita's Allita's dead…" Jeremy cried. Josh, still on Lyoko just sat down on the platform, if it was possible to cry on Lyoko he would be. Suddenly another part of the ceiling fell over top of Josh devirtualizing him, as if Xana left him just to make Josh watch his victory.

After being devirtualized Josh made his way to the lab, slightly sobbing having watched Aelita die in front of him. He leaned against the wall trying to calm himself. Before he felt a sudden pain in his head and slumped to the floor, although no one noticed due to everyone else watching the screens with Jeremy.

On Lyoko, Sector Five began to grow dark as Xana took full control of Lyoko, the once bright interfaces making up the celestial dome grew dim and the skies of the four sectors grew dark as his presence crept across the whole virtual world.

"What's going on?" Yumi asked, noticing the superscan and various other system indicators displaying notifications on the screen. "XA…XANA…got what he wanted. He has the Keys to Lyoko. He'll be able to get out of the Supercomputer…!" Jeremy said sobbing, with a sound of fear in his voice. As the group watched, Josh was on the ground holding his head as he heard Xana's voice. "You have failed, Aelita is DEAD and it's all because of your failure. I will make you watch as I destroy everything else you care about. All because you dare betray me." The voice said before fading as Xana finally left Lyoko.

Back in Sector Five the room suddenly grew brighter as a blue glowing sphere appeared near Aelita. "I can't believe it. It's Franz Hopper, He's bringing Lyoko back to life." Jeremy said, watching as the towers all deactivated and other systems returned to normal. The interfaces making up the celestial dome brighted back to their normal bright blue and the skies of the sectors returned to normal. The pain in Josh's head also went away as all the systems that Xana had altered to escape were returned to normal as his head stopped hurting Josh slowly got up and limped to by the supercomputer knowing that something had to be going on on Lyoko.

On Lyoko, Franz Hopper picked up Aelita and began to return her memories that he had managed to extract out of the supercomputer's memory before Xana was finally able to escape. Watching the screens, the memory values for Aelita began to rise. "Franz is saving his daughter." Jeremy said, in a higher tone before a message appeared on the screen, "Josh needs to interface to the supercomputer, he has the last missing part of my daughter's memory in him and I need to retrieve it. -FH" the message said. Josh, without hesitation, touched his hand to the writing and relaxed to interface to the supercomputer.

Shortly after, the screens indicated that Franz Hopper had disappeared from Lyoko, and Aelita's information card showed a devirtualization in progress. "To the scanner room quickly!" Jeremy said hurrying down the ladder in the lab, the rest of the group slowly followed him. Jeremy waited as the active scanner finally opened with Aelita falling out of it into his arms. After a short while the group made their way back to Kadic, to Jeremy's room.

Aelita was sitting on Jeremy's bed leaning against the corner of the wall, Yumi and Odd sat on the edge of the bed, Ulrich leaned against Jeremy's table, Josh was leaning on his dressed while Jeremy sat in his chair. "Right. Would…someone please say something funny before I have a heart attack?" Odd asked, leaning back slightly. "My father sacrificed himself for me. And we don't even know if he's still on Lyoko." Aelita said sadly. "Fine. Excuse me, while I have my heart attack." Odd said laying all the way back. "All those memories of your life on Earth…that was the fragment that Xana took from you. To bind you to him. And Franz Hopper…managed to give them back to you!" Jeremy said softly. "Now you're free, Aelita. But unfortunately, so is Xana." Ulrich said. "Shutting the Supercomputer down won't stop Xana anymore. What are we gonna do?" Yumi asked. "Same as always. We will fight. Xana may have become more powerful, but I don't think he's invincible. If he attacks, we'll counter-attack. We'll find a way to get rid of Xana for good!" Jeremy said standing up as he said this. "You're right… The fight has to go on. After all…fighting XANA is my job." Aelita said, sad but determined. "No,Aelita." Jeremy said as everyone went near Aelita. "It's our job." Jeremy finished.

"Aelita, I promise you I will find your father, wherever he is." Josh said, feeling guilty about Franz having to save Aelita in the first place. "Josh, are you okay?" Aelita asked. "No." He replied. Everyone looked towards Josh worried. "Josh what's wrong." Yumi asked. "I watched Aelita die on Lyoko…. And it was my fault and my father plans on making sure I see everything I care about destroyed by him." Josh said, partly revealing what Xana had told him before. "Josh.. It wasn't your fault. None of us could have known it was a trap. And I wouldn't believe anything Xana told you. Because we won't let it come true." Jeremy said.

I plan on re-writing parts of this later, things just don't flow every well but I currently can't think of a good way to fix that. I plan on doing a chapter between this and Straight To Heart to allow me to formally introduce Aelita getting her Energy Fields. Since I think Aelita training and discovering them would be pretty cool.
