Chapter 3: The Fallen Angels Arc Begins
"M-my name is Yuma Amano, t-theres something I would like to ask you." Yuma asked, blushing furiously. Jiro looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
"Well, I'm all ears." Jiro said looking at her awaiting her question. Yuma looked down fidgeting, her blush deepening as she tries speak.
"U-um, well...I-I was w-wondering if y-you'd...l-like to...g-go on a d-date w-with me?" Yuma asked, closing her eyes tightly, stuttering like mad as her face turns completely red. Jiro looked at her for a few seconds, silently contemplating her request.
After several seconds Jiro answered. "Sure, sounds fun." Jiro said with a smile. Yuma looks up at him surprised and hopefull.
"R-really, you will?" Yuma asked, almost not expecting his response. Jiro looked at her still smiling.
"Of course, you're kinda cute, and I'm not seeing anyone right now, so I'm sure we'll have fun together. Jiro said smiling reassuringly. Yuma's face turn completely red again at his complement.
"Really, I'm so glad, Thanks you." Yuma said as she runs up, and hugs him, wrapping her arms around his waist. Jiro returned the hug, putting his left hand on her back, and his right hand on the back of her head as she buries her face in his chest.
"You're the one who asked me, I should be thanking you." Jiro said as they said there hugging, making her giggle. They then pull away slightly still embracing as she looks up at him.
"So, how does this sunday, at 1 pm sound?" Jiro asked, looking down at her, into her violet eyes. Yuma nodded, smiling brightly.
"Yeah, that's a great time." Yuma said, excitedly as she pulls away from Jiro slowly. Jiro nodded in agreement.
"Great, well then, I gotta go for now, see you then, Yuma-chan." Jiro said as he stepped back, and turned ready to leave. Yuma mimicked his movements also about to leave.
"Yeah I can't wait, see you then Jiro-kun." Yuma said as she walked in the opposite direction as Jiro while waving. After Jiro and Yuma left the bridge, Yuma starts to talk to herself.
"Ugh, what a pain in the ass! I can't believe, I was the one, who was pushed into this waste of time before our main mission. Well, at least he was an attractive guy, so maybe this could maybe be fun. Now then onto prepare for that "date", and find that little nun girl." Yuma said to herself, as she walked, and disappeared into the shadows.
Jiro continued his walk home as he thought about his exchange with that "Yuma" girl. "Heh, she was obviously a fallen angel masquerading as human. She didn't even bother to conceal her unholy aura. What are your thoughts Ddraig?" Jiro said to himself amused as he then looked down at his right hand.
"(Hmph I think that was hella clumsy of her, but I honestly didn't expect you to accept her proposal. What are you planning Jiro?)" Ddraig asked curiously.
"Well, if she went through the trouble of "asking me out" she's most likely trying to gain my trust to either kill me, or get me to join the fallen angels. However from what I was sensing, she might be a little tough, but she wouldn't even be a warm up for me, so let's see where this goes, I might be able to find out who she's working for." Jiro said, thoughtfully.
"(I see, that would be the best choice of strategy.)" Ddraig said agreeing to Jiro's evaluation. Jiro's face then turns mischievous.
"Plus I haven't had any action for awhile, and I've been bored as hell, so this could be fun." Jiro said, making Ddraig chuckl.
"(Heh heh, you're quite the rowdy one after enough time has passed huh. You're a true dragon.)" Ddraig said amused.
"I sure am." Jiro said smiling. Jiro then noticed something that caught his attention.
"Seems they didn't even bother to hide their auras either. Heh, they think they're hidden. They were probably watching the whole exchange between me and her, seems those devils have their eye on me now." Jiro said glancing to his left as he continued walking, and disappeared around a corner.
In a seemingly hidden spot behind a few trees, where they believed Jiro wouldn't notice them, two devils did indeed watch the conversation between Jiro and Yuma, and watched them walk away. They stepped out from behind the trees seeing the coast was clear. They look between the directions where Jiro and Yuma walked, and thought for a few seconds.
"Seems the fallen angels are targeting him now." said Kiba thoughtfully. Kiba was a handsome young man much like Jiro, with short blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing the kuoh academy boys uniform.
"Yeah, we should tell Rias right away." Said koneko as she stood next to Kiba eating a chocolate bar. Koneko was a young short petite girl with short white hair with a cat shaped hair clip in her hair, gold hazel eyes, and wearing the kuoh academy girls uniform.
The two then leave the area to report to Rias.
The next day
Jiro walks through the front gates, entering the school with his hands in his jacket pockets. As he walks onto the schools grounds, he's greeted with the familiar sight of most of the other students avoiding, and glancing at him in fear while some of the girls look at him smiling and blushing and some of the guys glare at him. Jiro continues to walk towards the school when he suddenly feels observing eyes on him from a far, and looks up to see the same red haired girl he passed by the previous day, staring at him from one of the schools higher windows.
Upon noticing her Jiro shoots her a piercing glare, making her shiver in fear, and move away from the window. 'Wow those red eyes really do cut like diamonds. No wonder the other students try to not make eye contact, and avoid him, but how did he notice me observing him.' Rias thought to herself as she steps away from the window, her hand on her chest, heart racing.
As Rias composes herself Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko walk into the room sensing Rias' presence. "My, my, well this is a fun sight early in the morning. You wouldn't happen to be watching our school's new prince come in, from the window would you? Does our dear Rias have a crush?" Akeno asked teasingly.
Rias, having fully composed herself, rolled her eyes at akeno's teasing. "Yeah, yeah, very funny Akeno, but we both know I don't." Rias said as the three of them giggle at her response.
"Anyway, you two said you saw a fallen angel masquerading as a human, ask Jiro out on a date yesterday right? Rias asked looking between Kiba and Koneko. The two nod in response.
"I suppose that means the fallen angels are most likely trying to recruit him. I think it's time we have a meeting with him. Akeno find him at lunchtime and ask him to come to the student council room." Rias said thoughtfully and turning to Akeno.
"Of course Rias I'd hate to see you watch as your crush is taken away by another girl." Akeno said teasingly again while giggling. Rias glares at Akeno as a tick mark appears on her forehead.
"Just do it. Now then, I think it's time for you three to go to class, you'll be late." Rias said to all three of them.
"Yes ma'am." They said in unison as they turn around to leave chuckling slightly from Akeno's teasing, and Rias's reaction. They left the room, leaving Rias again as she talks to herself.
Rias sighes. "Jiro Natsuo, I hope you'll join us. I'm running out of time." Rias said to herself hopeful.
A few hours later the bell for lunchtime came, and Jiro left the classroom to go to the cafeteria to eat lunch. As he walks he hears a voice call out to him. "Hi there, you're Jiro Natsuo right?" Akeno asked walking up behind him.
Jiro stopped and turned his head to look at her. "Huh? Whaddya want? Jiro asked.
"My name is Akeno Himejime, the student council Vice President. Oh my, you're just as handsome as they say you are. You're the leader of the crimson dragons gang right? You know, I kinda have a thing for bad boys." Akeno said, flirtatiously, walking up to Jiro, stepping right in front of him, and tracing a line on his chest, as she looks up into his red eyes.
Jiro looks down at her completely unaffected by her flirting, and calmly glares at her, his red eyes glowing under his bangs. "Back it up." He said simply making Akeno shiver in fear and instinctively back away.
"U-um sorry about that. Oh silly me, I almost forgot why I came to find you. The student council president wants to speak with you. So if you would be so kind as to come with me?" Akeno asked, still shaking slightly, trying to maintain her usual friendly smile while on the inside she was shocked since this was the first time someone resisted her charms.
Jiro looked at her for a second, thinking. "Hmph, fine I guess, but make this quick." Jiro said as Akeno nodded, and they began walking.
They walked through the halls going to the student council room, passing by other students who were shocked that the student council Vice President and the other one of the schools "two great beauties" along with Rias was walking with the infamous gang leader. "Hmph, you seem to be quite popular." Jiro said as they walked.
Akeno giggled. "Yes it seems so, everyone here really idolizes me, it's kinda funny, and charming, wouldn't you agree?" Akeno said trying to come off as friendly to Jiro, despite her S side, she strangely didn't want to end up on his scary side again." Jiro glanced at her for a second from the corner of his eye, before looking forward again.
"You can't fool me, I know you dislike their attention." Jiro said calmly, yet matter of factly. Akeno turned to look at him, shocked at his accurate observation. She did in fact dislike the other students constant, unwanted attention, since it always made her feel uncomfortable, and stressed, but she was mostly wondering how Jiro had seen through her façade so easily, despite them having just met.
Akeno was about to question how he knew her inner feelings, but decided to stay quiet for now as they kept walking. Akeno leads Jiro outside of the school building, around the back of it, and down a dirt path to the front of an old looking building surrounded by trees. "We're here, please come in." Akeno said while smiling, and gesturing for him to follow as she opened the doors.
Despite the buildings old, rundown looking exterior, the interior was very well furnished in a classical victorian style. They walked through the main hallway, and stopped in front of two fancy looking doors. Akeno knocked on the doors, then after a second, they heard a female voice say "come in", and they entered.
The room they entered was just as fancy as the hallway, also being in a victorian style. In the middle of the room was two couches, and a table between them with a chess board on it. At the far end of the room was a large, wooden desk, and on the far right was a shower that was running. After a few minutes out from it came the same red haired girl Jiro passed by the day before, and saw watching him from the window earlier that morning...in nothing but a towel, and holding another towel to dry her hair.
Jiro looks at her with a "wtf" face, while blushing, and a small tick mark on his forehead. 'Is she trying to give me a boner?!' Who the hell comes out of a shower in nothing a towel, when they have a guest?!' Jiro said in his head, trying to fight off the blush on his face.
Rias looks up, and sees Jiro and Akeno standing there. She puts the towel on her head on one of the couches, then a red magic circle appears under her feet which goes up her form, putting her in her kuoh academy girls uniform. She then sits down at her desk, resting her head on her folded hands.
"Thank you for bringing him Akeno. Hello, you must be Jiro Natsuo, My name is Rias Gremory, the student council president. It's nice to meet you."
