A/N: Hey everyone before I start the new chapter of Loud Mermaids. Before we start the new chapter, i just want to make one thing clear. I usually do crossovers in Loud 10 and Loud Dragons (Need to get back to that story) Well I'm gonna have to disappoint you guys. I don't plan on doing crossovers for Loud Mermaids, sorry folks you won't be seeing Lincoln and the gang meeting other characters from Amphibia, Owl House, Ninja Turtles and etc. This is a solo outing. Anyway let's dive onto the new chapter.
It was the day after Lincoln's visit to Aztutic. Lincoln woke up one morning got dressed in his swim trunks, drank the potion and gagged then entered the palace from his Atlantis bedroom.
"Ok Atlantis, time for another day here." said Lincoln as he swam into the throne room.
"Good morning Lincoln." Rita said as she sat on her throne.
"Hey Rita." Lincoln greeted.
"I hope you didn't have any plans today?" Rita asked.
"Yeah maybe go to the surface and maybe hang out with Clyde." Lincoln said.
"Well you're going to have to cancel your plans. I hate to do this to you, but I figure you would learn some Atlantan culture today and Etiqutte." Rita said.
"You have got to be kidding me?" Lincoln asked.
"Now I have to plan my wedding. I need to arrange the flowers. You can come in girls."
Then five mermaids and four sea monsters Swims into the throne room.
A mermaid with fair skin, short blonde hair, blue tail and blue seashell bra. The second mermaid has fair skin, red hair in a bun, pink tail and pink seashell bra, the third mermaid has fair skin, blonde hair in a ponytail, purple tail and wearing a purple tube top. The fourth mermaid has fair skin, long black hair that reaches her back that meets her tail, her tail has crimson red scale, and wearing a red tube top. The fifth mermaid has fair skin, long black hair, purple tail and wearing a purple tube top. The final mermaid is Japanese, fair skin brown hair in a short ponytail, witha green tail and wearing a blue tank top.
The first sea monster is 21 years old, has dark pink scales, light pink fins on her feet, hands, underbelly, and , and pink scaly hair. The second sea monster is 21 years old, has blue scales, light blue underbelly, fins, webbed feet, hands and her hair is blue scaly styled like a ponytail. The third sea monster has purple scales, light purple underbelly, webbed hands and feet, purple scaly hair styled like a braid. The final sea monster has red-orange scales, reddish underbelly, webbed hands and feet, dark red scaly hair.
"Lincoln meet Claudia, Marina, Tori, Rhonda, McKenzie, Ami, Serina, Brittney, Caroline, and Anya," Rita introduced. "They are friends of mine. Ami is a sorceress., Serina, Brittney, Caroline, and Anya are part of my royal guards along with Rhonda and McKenzie."
"So the adult mermaids are your handmaidens?" Lincoln asked.
"In a way. Claudia is both a handmaiden and royal guard." Rita said.
"It's true." Claudia, the blue tailed mermaid said.
"So I have to learn how to stand right, us the right fork and spoon to eat dinner?" Lincoln asked.
"Well that and learn about how to about the other kingdoms' cultures." Anya, the red-orange sea monster said.
"Well I was down in Aztutic, yesterday with Ronnie Anne." Lincoln said.
"You're friends with the former princess of Aztutic?" Brittney, the blue sea monster asked.
"Yeah, it took me by surprised and she was pretty heavy with a tail." Lincoln said.
"Yeah the tail adds a few pounds." Rita admitted. "Anyway I gotta. You take it from girls." Rita then swims away leaving Lincoln with Rita's friends and Guards.
Lincoln is in a dining room with Marina, the red tailed mermaid. Marina placed some books on the table. "Ok Lincoln. You need to understand how the cultures of the other Kingdoms are and work. You already been to Aztutic."
"Yeah, it reminded of Talocan from Wakanda Forever. Just with merfolk and sea monsters." Lincoln said. "But Kenny told me about the other Kingdoms and where they are located."
"Good, Clari is in between Japan, and ruled by Emperor Akira who has three daughters." Marina said. "You guessed it, it's inspired by Japanese culture, along with other Asian cultures
"So are the other kingdoms inspired by other human cultures?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes, Geygia is inspired by African and Indian culture. Froststjn is inspired by Norwegian, Icelandic and Norse culture. Telin is inspired by the Caribbean culture." Marina explained.
"Let me guess Hipponea is inspired by Greek and Roman culture?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes, even those those are the same." Marina explained. "Atlantis is inspired by Greek culture too."
"Yeah I figured." Lincoln said.
"Alright let's get to work." Marina said. "We're gonna focus on Atlantan culture."
A Montage of Lincoln learning about the history of Atlantis and its culture, he was having a hard time understanding everything about Atlantan culture and history. He got the wrong year off when Atlantis sunk. Then Lincoln moved onto to dining and he picked the wrong fork instead of a salad fork. Lincoln then tried to learn how to talk properly, but he sneezed and lost his train of thought, causing Brittney to facepalm.
Lincoln is being taught about the other kingdoms' cultures by Ami, the green tailed mermaid. But he was starting to get tired and fell asleep on the book. Which it annoyed Ami which she swims up to Lincoln and pulls the book from his head, smacks him with it. Lincoln wakes up and rubs his head, while Ami sheepishly shrugged.
Sometime later Lincoln enters his room and groans. "Man so much stuff to learn." Lincoln groaned as he sat down on his bed. "I'm just going to stay in my room for the rest of the day." Right when Lincoln lays down on his bed and closes his eyes.
But then a knock was on the door, which caused Lincoln to open his eyes. He walks up to the door, opens it and sees Kenny at the door. "Hey Lincoln." Kenny said.
"What is it Kenny?" Lincoln asked. "I had to learn a lot of Atlantis history and culture. Which sadly I'm still trying to keep it in my mind."
"Yeah I can imagine. But I wanted to invite you to a bonfire." Kenny said.
"A bonfire?" Lincoln asked. "Like on land?"
"Yeah, it's something and my cousins and sometimes our friends do every month. But we do this on a remote island far from the humans. Maybe you would like to join us?" Kenny asked.
"Oh jeez I don't know. Lynn and Lola are gonna be there and they really hate me. Heck me and Ronnie Anne were nearly killed by a giant squid thanks to her cousin Carl." Lincoln said.
"Don't worry Lincoln. Lori, Luna and I can handle them." Kenny said. "Besides I figure this would be a great time to get know each other better."
Lincoln thinks it over and gives his answer. "Alight I'll tag along." Lincoln said.
"Great let's go. There's gonna be food and drinks." Kenny said. "Just a heads up the girls are chocoholics, no chocolate bar is safe from them."
"Thanks for letting me know." Lincoln said right before the two boys swim off.
