Lincoln and Kenny reached the surface and reached the shores of an uncharted island. "So no one knows about this island?" Lincoln asked.
Kenny's tail turned into a pair of legs and his clothes appeared while he dried off. "The only ones who knows about this place are myself, family, and friends." Kenny said.
"That's good." Lincoln said.
"Yeah and my cousins should be right over there." Kenny said as he pointed on a bonfire.
"Oh great I get to deal with Lynn and Lola's humans are bad remarks." Lincoln groaned.
"Don't worry it'll be nine against two. You'll be fine." Kenny said as they waked towards the bonfire. Lincoln looked at his future stepsisters and Luna, Luan, Lynn and Lucy are wearing their normal wear. But the rest of the girls are wearing their own clothes.
Lori is wearing a light blue tank top, brown cargo shorts and blue slip on shoes, but she still has her pearl earrings.
Leni still has her red hoop earrings, and white sunglasses, but she's wearing frilled turquoise dress and white sandals.
Lola still has her pearl necklace and white earrings. But she's wearing a long pink gown, sash and long pink gloves.
Lana still has her red hat, but wearing a murky green t shirt, under dark blue overalls, and white sneakers.
Lisa still has her glasses but wearing a green turtleneck sweater, red pants and brown shoes.
"Hey girls." Lincoln greeted as the mermaid princesses look at him.
"Hey Lincoln. I'm glad you can make it to our bonfire." Lori said.
"I invited him is that alright?" Kenny asked.
"It's fine dude." Luna replied.
"No, it's not fine." Lynn said.
"Yeah this is our tradition, and you're letting this human in." Lola said.
"Lola! Lincoln is going to be our new brother and you're going have to accept it." Lori said.
"So where are the others?" Kenny asked.
"It's just us." Lori said. "Besides we can use this to get to know Lincoln and for him to know us."
"Good idea sis?" Luna said as the rest of the kids sat down on some lawn chairs.
Kenny and Lincoln both sat down on two lawn chairs. "So what's there to know about you girls?" Lincoln asked. "I know that Lori is going to be a Queen one day."
"And engaged to Bobby." Lori added.
"That too." Lincoln said.
"Well I want to be a fashion designer." Leni said. "I made some dresses that are mermaid theme, and maybe get some ideas from the oceans too."
"Really?" Lincoln asked.
"Oh yeah, I really want to work on your Atlantis outfit Lincoln. Mostly inspired from those comic book characters, Aquaman and Namor."
"I prefer if you didn't give me the Namor trunks." Lincoln replied.
"Yeah, I'm with Lincoln on this one." Kenny nodded.
"I wasn't going to do that." Leni said.
"Well, I want to be a rockstar. I want to see the world and share the world my music." Luna said.
"Are you forming a band?" Lincoln asked.
"I got my band formed. The Moongoats, with Sam, Sully, and Mazzy as my band mates." Luna explained. "We mostly play some clubs in Florida."
"Huh, that's good to know." Lincoln said.
"I want to be a comedian." Luan said. "I know comedy is a dying art. But I'm gonna try and bring it back to life."
"Just watch out for Luan on April fools day." Kenny whispered to Lincoln. "No one is safe on land or sea."
"I'm sure it's nothing." Lincoln thought to himself. "So what about you Lynn?"
"Staying in the ocean away from humans." Lynn glared.
"Wow, you're a real ray of sunshine." Lincoln relied with sarcasm.
"I want to be a horror writer just like Stephen King." Lucy said. "That and explore the trenches of the oceans."
"I want to explore the oceans and protect the animals both land and sea." Lana said.
"What about you Lola?" Lincoln asked.
"Stay in the ocean and be a great Queen to one of the other kingdoms." Lola said. "Plus lead the attack on the surface."
"Not going to happen Lola." Lori said.
"I would like to explore the Trenches and make some discoveries, perhaps find any sea creatures that survived extinction." Lisa explained.
"What about Krakens?" Lincoln asked.
"They could be real." Lisa said as she rubbed her chin.
"What about you Kenny?" Lincoln asked.
"What's there to know?" Kenny asked.
"Did you live in the other kingdoms or have you lived in Atlantis?" Lincoln asked.
"I lived in Atlantis with my family. My mom was a princess when I was born. She never talked about my dad, and I never knew him." Kenny explained. "My mom was heading to another kingdom to wed to a prince of Hipponea. But she never made it and it lead to a war between Hipponea and Atlantis."
"Don't remind me." Lynn growled under her breath. "Dad died right before the war ended."
"I know how you guys feel." Lincoln sighed in sadness. "My birth mom died from brain cancer when I was five."
"I'm sorry to hear that dude." Luna said as she placed a hand on Lincoln's shoulder.
"I remember seeing her right before she died. My dad and I walked into her hospital room, she had no hair, was pale and she was on the verge of death." Lincoln explained. "Her last words to me were Lincoln. I want you to be a good boy when I'm gone. I wish I get to see my special boy grow up. It'll be scary, but I will always be with you. Those were her last words." Lincoln finished as he looked at the fire.
The girls and Kenny all looked at Lincoln with sad eyes, even Lynn and Lola were lost for words. "We're sorry to hear that." Luan said.
"Yeah, but we're just glad you're going to be part of our family." Lori said. "We all need to move on, so maybe we can move on together."
"I guess you're right." Lincoln said. "Thanks."
"Don't mention it." Lori smiled.
"So Lincoln what do you want to do when you grow up?" Lana asked.
"Well I want to be either a comic book artist, ghost hunter or astronaut. They're not the best, but I love comics, space and ghost hunting shows." Lincoln said. "No offence Lucy."
"No worries. Not all ghosts are good." Lucy replied.
Meanwhile back at the mainland in an apartment. Nica Musker is looking at a map of the planet with red pins in the seven seas. "Where is Atlantis? It could be anywhere." Nica said. "Perhaps I need to find that mermaid who dived in the ocean. Looks like I'm going fishing." Nica chuckled.
