Hi all. As much as I want to give you a glimpse of what's in store, I'm not! Read and find out.
Callie, Felina, and Lisa were sitting in Felina's new house. Felina Looked at her two friends, seeing their large bellies, before looking down at her own. "So, when do we actually get rid of these Beach Balls we devoured?" She asked.
Callie shot her a glance, telling her best friend, she had enough of being pregnant as well, times three. "You know Felina, I could let you give birth to one of mine. Since you only have one in there, you most likely have more room than I do."
"So I can go to the bathroom, more often than I already do? No thank you!" Felina said.
Lisa had to laugh at her two friends. She was holding Raphael in her lap while he napped, completely content. "You both think you have it bad? Try raising an infant, who pops in and out of his crib, when ever he wants, and chasing after him, while being pregnant. Then tell me how you feel!"
"Lisa, Raphael is a little angel," Felina said. "You couldn't ask for a better kitten."
"You take him for a night, then you will find out exactly how good he is," Lisa said. "Just last night, Mark came home and I had a nice, romantic dinner waiting for him. We ate in complete silence, and as we cuddled up on the couch, our little angel decided to pay us a visit. He literally appeared in Mark's lap, just as we were about to kiss," Lisa said.
"That must have been slightly embarrassing Lisa?" Callie asked.
"Not as bad as when he popped in on us as I was.." she blushed a very deep red as she realized, she almost told her friends, how she was about to 'Take care of her husband'.
Callie and Felina looked at each other, then back to Lisa. Before Felina asked, "What, exactly, were you about to do to Mark, Lisa?" Then smirked at Lisa.
Lisa blushed even deeper, knowing that her best friend, knew exactly what she was going to do to Mark. "Um.." was all that Lisa was able to get out in response.
Felina left Callie's side, went over to Lisa, then whispered, "Don't worry Lisa. I won't tell a soul that Raphael caught you and Mark in a very compromising position."
Lisa almost dropped Raphael when she heard Felina's insinuation. She slowly turned her head to the left to face her friend, only to see Felina making a very rude gesture with her mouth and right paw, imitating what she envisioned Lisa doing to Mark. Despite Lisa being completely embarrassed, Felina was completely correct with her movements. She cuddled Raphael tighter to her chest and ran out of the room as fast as a very pregnant she-cat could.
"Did I say something wrong?" Felina asked as she watched Lisa run out of the Living Room.
"Felina, I love you like a sister," Callie said. "But sometimes, your Brazenness crosses a line that shouldn't be crossed." Then shot her best friend a very stern look.
"Alright!" Felina said, throwing her paws up in the air. "I'll go and apologize to Lisa!"
After Felina left to go and apologize to Lisa, Callie felt a twinge in her abdomen. Since it was ever so slight, she simply ignored it and went to follow Felina. However, as she was walking down the hall, another twinge hit, a lot harder this time, causing her to bring both of her paws to her stomach. "Come on girls, be good for mommy," she said, hoping her kittens would stop whatever they were doing in there. But whatever was causing those twinges didn't stop. They actually intensified, making Callie double over, almost falling to the floor. She instinctively reached between her legs, and felt her clothes becoming wetter and wetter. Now, knowing something was not right, she screamed, "Felina! Lisa! I could use a paw in here!"
Both Felina and Lisa returned back into the hall and saw Callie almost on the floor.
Lisa got down on her knees to Callie's left, and asked, "What happened? Are you alright?"
Callie looked up to Lisa, then said, "You need to call Chance, as well as an ambulance and Daniella, I think I'm going into labor."
Acrobat and Sure-Shot were riding through the city on their Cyclotrons, getting Acrobat familiar with the controls as well as the onboard weaponry. Even though Acrobat was a very proficient rider, the newer version of the Cyclotron had more horsepower and torque than its predecessor. As Acrobat twisted the throttle open, she had a very hard time keeping the front wheel on the ground from the torque the motor generated alone. "Hey Sure-Shot! When you started riding your Cyclotron, did you have any issues controlling it?" Acrobat asked, over the loud whine of the motors.
"Not really, once I was able to find the center of gravity, the Cyclotron felt very natural to ride. Why?" Sure-Shot responded, pulling up along side of Acrobat.
Acrobat brought her Cyclotron to a screeching halt, lowering her legs to the ground, sitting straight up in the saddle, and answered, "I don't know what Razor did to this one, but its harder to control than a Patrol Car with a bad Tie-Rod!
Sure-Shot rode past Acrobat, lowered her left foot to the ground, and using it as a pivot point, she whipped her Cyclotron around, and slowly rode back to Acrobat. She stopped on her left, removed her helmet from her head, shook out her long locks, then faced Acrobat, and said, "You are going to master that Cyclotron, Acrobat, just as I have mastered this one." She patted the gas tank, then continued, "Do you think Havoc mastered flying the TurboKat 2 on her first flight or Sensei was able to use her swords the way she does the first time she picked one up? I highly doubt it. This is why we practice and train, Acrobat. Every one of us, doesn't know how to do everything SWAT does right away. This is why we all train together, constantly. With all of that training and practicing, we became very close. Each one of us, has the other's back without question. When one of us is down, there are several more, ready to pick up where the other left off." She put her helmet back on, followed by placing her paws on the grips, then said, "Race you to the docks, the loser has to buy the winner dinner and drinks!" Sure-Shot twisted the throttle on her Cyclotron, released the clutch, and took off down the street, before turning around, to face the same direction as Acrobat. Then, she held the front brake of her Cyclotron, twisted the throttle open, causing the rear tire to spin rapidly against the pavement, creating a cloud of white smoke, and slowly let the brake go.
As Sure-Shot rapidly approached her, Acrobat grabbed the handlebars of her Cyclotron, twisted the throttle, wide open, and said before she took off, "No one, ever challenges me and wins!" With that, she was gone, faster than Sure-Shot could even react.
Sure-Shot lifted the left corner of her mouth, exposing her fang, then said in delight, "Its on, Acrobat!" And tried her best to catch up to her friend.
Both she-cats rode through the city's highways, faster and faster. Both determined to beat the other. However, as they pushed each other, their bond grew tighter. They were becoming the team, Razor knew they could be. One where the other instinctively knew what the other was going to do, without being told. As they rode neck and neck, the smiles on their faces, betrayed how they really felt about the other.
With the docks in sight, Acrobat downshifted and twisted her throttle wide open, taking a slight lead over Sure-Shot, who responded, "Oh no you don't!" She repeated Acrobat's actions, catching up to Acrobat. They crossed the finish line at the exact same time, applying the front brakes, lifting the rear wheels into the air, and High-Fiving the other.
After both rear wheels hit the planks, both females, put their legs down, and removed their helmets. "That was amazing!" Acrobat said, shaking out her Strawberry-Blonde hair.
Sure-Shot shook out her own hair, then said, "I told you, you could do it Acrobat! All you needed was a little confidence boost."
The two heroines embraced each other, tightly. Then Acrobat said, "Thank you, my friend, and partner."
"You're welcome, partner," Sure-Shot responded.
Over the radio they both heard, "Sure-Shot! Acrobat! Get your tails over to MegaKat General! Empress is about to give birth!"
"What!?" They both asked and took off towards the hospital.
Felicia was teaching a few advanced sword techniques to Roland, Mitch, and Juan. While James assisted Felicia any way he could, since he was still on crutches.
James and the rest of her students watched as Felicia with both paws, brought her sword over her head, swiftly brought the deadly edge of the blade down on one of the dummy's right side, slicing the dummy from the shoulder to its ribs. Her students watched as the chunk of wood fell to the floor, revealing one of the cleanest cuts everyone had ever seen. "Sensei, that was amazing!" James said.
Felicia lowered the tip of her blade to the floor, turned around to face her students, then said, "Arigato James." She smiled at them all, flipping her pony-tail back over her right shoulder, then asked, "Care to give it a shot?"
Juan was to first to step to Felicia's challenge. Before he picked up one of the Practice swords, he cinched his gi's belt a little tighter. He removed the scabbard from the wall, confidently walked over to another practice dummy, bowed in respect, then swiftly removed the sword from the scabbard and attacked. The sword made it through about three-quarters of the dummy's right arm, before becoming lodged into the hard wood.
Felicia watched as Juan attempted to remove the blade from the dummy, then heard a very distinct click. "Stop!" She commanded and walked over to Juan.
Juan halted his actions immediately as soon as he heard the command. He turned his whole body to the right, bowed to Felicia, before asking, "I don't get what went wrong, Sensei? I did everything you taught us, I should have been able to slice right through the dummy, just as you have."
Felicia stopped in front of Juan, gently laid the palm of her left paw on his right shoulder, then said, "I'm not sure either. You performed that strike, just as well as I could. Let's all find out what went wrong."
Mitch, Roland, and James came over to both Juan's and Felicia's side and started examining the dummy. Mitch grabbed the blade from the top and gave it a firm pull. After a few strong tugs, part of the blade dislodged from the dummy. As Mitch examined the broken end, he asked, "Sensei, I'm not as familiar with forming metal into swords as you are, so should these fine fissures be in the blade?"
Felicia turned her head to the right to see what Mitch was talking about. He lifted the broken edge to her, pointed to the gaps between the folded metal, then said, "I remember what you taught us about how quality swords were made, and this isn't one of them."
She took the broken blade from Mitch and examined the tiny fissures he pointed out. She brought her left paw down towards the tip and her right towards the broken edge, then easily snapped the piece in two, over her right thigh. Felicia brought up the freshly broken ends to her face, swore, then said, "When I get my paws on that sales guy, he might not be walking again! I want all of you to gather up the recent batch of Practice swords and bring them here. Chances are, if one of them is poorly made, the others are as well. I will not have my students, using cheap knock-offs and get hurt, or worse!"
All five of them gathered up the defective swords and brought them towards the center of the dojo. Felicia gave a lesson in how to properly make a blade, just as her father and grandfather taught her. Roland then said, "I've never heard of folding metal in such a manner, Sensei. One of these days, can you take me to your family's forge and have your grandfather give me a lesson, or two?"
"That goes for me as well," Juan said. "I want to learn the correct way of making a blade, similar to the one you have, Sensei."
Hearing that her students wanted to learn the old ways of forging raw materials into a deadly, but beautiful blades, warmed her heart. She thought the art her family practiced would have died with her, since the younger generation seemed to lack the patience required for watching raw steel in a kiln to be at the right temperature to actually form it into shape. "Very well, but be forewarned, each step starting from the initial tempering of the raw materials, to the actual hammering, takes long hours, in very uncomfortable temperatures. The process is very dangerous, and can be deadly, if the proper precautions are not taken." Felicia said, making sure she addressed all four of her students. "Are all four of you, prepared to give up an entire week, to simply tend a fire, while my grandfather and father, bend and sinter raw steel and carbon into a blade worthy of a Samurai?"
James hobbled his way over to Felicia, then said, "Hell Yea! What your family does is incredible! Sensei, I hope your mother is there, cause I'm going to tell her, she should have let you take a part of the family business!"
"James, my mother is one tough nut to crack. She can be quite stubborn, when she wants," Felicia said.
"So can I, Sensei. You've seen me while I'm getting my therapy. Heck, you are the one working with me! I want to get off of these crutches more than ever hence why I push myself," James said.
"So, its not that cute intern that you are showing off for, James?" Felicia asked.
"Cute intern?"Roland asked, latching his left arm around James' shoulders.
As James lifted Roland's arm off of him, he said, "Tess is cute, but she is out of my league. Not all of us have the luck to be quasi-engaged to a walking angel, Roland!"
"Quasi-Engaged?" Juan asked. "Roland, who is James talking about, and why haven't you introduced her to us?"
"Because you all met her already," Roland responded. "She is the new Dance instructor, next door. Her name is Artemis, and she is just as beautiful as her name is."
"You mean that curvy blonde with the legs that go on forever?" Mitch asked. "You got engaged to marry her!? Damn, I thought I had luck with she-cats, but I would give them all up, for a shot at her!"
"Well, you aren't going to get that opportunity, Mitch. Artemis is going to be my wife, someday after I graduate."
"I'm happy for you Roland!" Mitch said. "Ever since Tiffany used and dumped you, you've been a stick in the mud. You deserve to be happy, my friend."
As her students congratulated Roland on being engaged to as James stated, 'A walking Angel!', the phone in the dojo started to ring. She politely excused herself and answered the phone, "Dojo Saito, how can I help you?"
"Felicia! Get your tail over to MegaKat General! Callie is in labor!" Lisa yelled into the phone.
Felicia smiled from ear to ear after she heard their news. "I'm on my way, once I turn over my class to someone, Lisa." She said and hung up the phone. Turning to face the group, she said, "All four of you, put those pieces of crap in the Recycling bin and spar for an hour. James, you are to monitor these three, and don't let them push you around!"
As she started to run out of the dojo, James asked, "Where are you going, Sensei?"
"My friend is giving birth to her kittens! I'm not going to miss the chance of seeing three possible Demi-goddesses coming into the world!" She answered, running out of the door.
The four of them looked at each other, then James said, "Sensei will explain what she meant, when we see her next. For now, per her orders, I want to see each of you, running ten laps around the park!"
"Wait a minute," Mitch said. "Who left you in charge?"
"Sensei did! Do you want to be on her bad side, Mitch?" James asked, going over to a chair to sit.
"No way! I've seen her fight! She'll fillet me with her sword faster than I can breathe!" Mitch said.
"Then I suggest you start running!"
Almost as soon as Chance got the call, he grabbed Jake from the garage where he was under the hood of a truck. Chance pulled him out from under the hood with enough force, Jake hit his head on the hood.
"Now that we are going to be arrested for driving like maniacs," Jake calmly said, still rubbing the spot on the back of his head that connected with the hood. "Will you tell me where we are going, before you collide with something, very large!?"
Chance whipped the car he commandeered around a corner, lifting the right side of the car off of the ground. And as the right side tires hit the pavement, Chance answered, "Callie is in labor! I'm not going to miss the birth of my kittens, Jake!"
"Wait! What!? When did she go into labor!?" Jake asked, thinking that Felina will most likely give birth to their kitten sometime very soon.
Chance drifted the large sedan around a corner, grinding his teeth, hoping he doesn't flip the car over on its side. As soon as the car stabilized, he answered, "About thirty minutes ago, according to Lisa. She's probably in the Maternity Ward as we speak. I'll be damned if I miss the birth of my family!" Chance slammed his foot down on the accelerator, causing the transmission to downshift and the engine to rev, taking off faster down the busy street than he should have.
"Chance, If it was Felina giving birth, I would be doing the same thing that you are, but since she's not the one in labor, I'm begging you, please SLOW DOWN! I would like to be there when she does as well as see the next five minutes!"
Chance wasn't listening to him, or anyone else at the moment. All he was concentrating on was getting to Callie's side in time to see the birth of their little girls. He lifted the left corner of his mouth as he imagined what it will be like to hold his daughters for the first time. With the hospital insight, Chance started looking for parking spot, big enough for the car. Finding one of the other side of the street, he looked over his left shoulder, checking to see if there was any traffic in the vicinity so he could perform the same maneuver Katerina pulled in Sally's minivan.
"Oh, no you are NOT going to do, what I think you are going to do!" Jake ordered, tightening his seatbelt, knowing Chance was about to do something completely reckless.
Chance whipped the steering wheel hard to the left, simultaneously applying the parking brake, making the rear end of the car skid, until the car faced the opposite way. He released the brake, and slammed his foot on the gas, making the car lurch forward. With the luck of Bast on his side, he managed to park the car. "See, we made it in one piece, Scaredy cat." He said, unbuckling his seatbelt.
Jake looked like he'd seen a ghost, but knowing Callie's family's heritage, it wouldn't have surprised him. He let go of the door handle, slowly turned his head towards his best friend, then slugged him in the right arm. "You should have married Katerina and started your own stunt team! You both are insane drivers! I can only imagine the type of stuff your kittens would have gotten into!"
Chance rubbed his arm for a brief second, then said as the stinging subsided, "Katerina and I are too much alike. There is no way the relationship would have worked out." He lowered his left arm to the door handle, opened the door, then said as he lifted his left leg to get out of the car, "You know I have been in love with Callie ever since High School, Jake. To me, there is no other she-cat out there that could replace her period." He got out of the car, closed the door, then asked, "Are you going to sit there, or are you going to join me and watch as your nieces come into this world?"
Jake couldn't get out of the car fast enough. He slammed the door closed and joined his best friend, who was already sprinting towards the hospital's entrance.
The duo entered and immediately spotted of Ulysses, Callista, and the rest of SWAT, minus Jasmine and Marissa. Felina got out if her seat, went over to Chance, hugged him, then said, "They already took her upstairs. Daniella is with her already. Go, your kittens aren't going to wait for their slow-poke father."
As he hugged her back, he said, "You really are a piece of work, Felina. But I couldn't ask for a better aunt for my kittens." He let her go, then said, "I'll have the nurse call, when they are transferred to the nursery." And took off towards the elevators.
"Where is Chance!" Callie asked. She was now laying on a Birthing Table with her feet in the Stirrups. She had on a very simple hospital gown, and a single IV in her left arm, giving her fluids.
"He's here, Callie," Daniella responded, through her scrubs and mask. "He is getting changed into a set of scrubs, then he will be here. Now, let's take a look to see hw you are progressing." She knelt down between Callie's legs to examine her. She noticed her cervix was almost completely dilated. She stood back up, turned to the staff, then politely ordered, "Turn on the warmers, its almost show time." He turned back to Callie, then said, "The girls want out, when you are ready, you can start pushing."
"My fiancé isn't here yet! I can't.." She started to say, but Chance finished her statement with, "I'm right here."
"Good, please take a seat by her head and hold her right paw, Mr. Furlong." Daniella said. She said the his last name with distain, since he almost miss the birth of the first kitten.
Chance sat in the metal chair to the right of Callie's head and took her right paw in both of his. He turned his head to the left, facing her, then said, "I love you."
"I love you too, Chance," She responded.
"Alright, its time to get these kittens born," Daniella said. She prepared herself for the miracle she was about to witness, then said, "Push!"
