Part 6: History Lesson

The sky was painted with stars in the black/blue sky, with the moon slowly coming back as it was in it's crescent form. From below, the Jade Academy was quiet and dark as others fell into slumber, a day of learning and practice a success. The excitement of visitors also helped with the exhaustion the students had from the day. So, all life was quiet and at rest; except for one room which was still a light and occupied with signs of awoken life.

Ricky gave a thankful smile as Snowfall set the teapot to the side, going back to the others. The Guardian and dragons had retire to a resting room, having tea to calm the nerves as incense wafted around the room. The room was glowing in the warm flame that light the room,

Snowfall: I do apologies once again for the ruckus I made during the final test-

Ricky: *shakes his head* No, you guys deserve to know this. You guys deserve to know alot of the events in your stories.

Clay: *nods* I take it there is more we need to be aware off.

Ricky: Oh yeah, just hope you guys are ready?

The dragons looked at eachother, nodding before turning back to Ricky.

Moonwacther: We're ready. Please, tell us what you know Guardian Ricky.

Ricky nodded with a sigh, taking a sip.

Ricky: Well, continuing on with Darkstalker might as well start from the beginning of his tale; He was born wanting to protect his mother, who is Foeslayer, from his father, Arctic-

Qibli: HOLD UP HOLD UP! Darkstalker is technically half Icewing?!

Ricky: Yes and i am really happy your all sitting down for this.

Sunny:..Yay know, that does explain how he became part Rainwing. He was ice, now his water...Okay yeah we probably should of searched his memories before we wiped them.

Winter: Indeed, too late now. Please continued.

Ricky: Of course. As i mentioned to the others, Queen Diamonds anger and jealous changed him drastically. She imprisoned Foeslayer, manipulated Arctic and the icewings..well, Arctic already has bad blood with his son given he did not look like him, even his powers gave him the creeps; even so, he did not kill him.

Turtle: YIKES. So daddy issues is apart of this too, gonna be honest I'm starting to feel bad for him. Darkstalker before his mind wipe.

Ricky: OH it's about to get worse.

Tsunami: *Horror* Oh gosh there's more?

Ricky: *nods* Well, he was in love with Clearsight-

Cricket: *awe* YOU MEAN THE DIVINE BEING OF GUIDANCE AND WISDOM CLEARSIGHT?! (Ricky: *sips* Yeah) THAT'S INCREDIBLE! She was our ancestor for the Hive And Silkwing tribes! I know she was the reason for Darkstalker's imprisonment, but had no idea the creator of the Book of Clearsight had such an deep relationship with him.

Ricky: Basically a star crossed lovers tale, Darkstalker lied to himself and kept her out of his schemes. In fact, Clearsight heartbroke not just by losing him but also the dragonets they could have had-

Ricky stopped, pounding on something as he took a sip.

Ricky: *thinking* I wonder...I know Troy is checking out another timeline of the holiday Guardians, perhaps there is a timeline where Clearsight had her and Darkstalker children. I might need to ask the others if we should look into a timeline like that, it is possible given what we found with our research.

Ricky looked up...and remembered he was present with the Wings of Fire heroes who now had stunned looks on their faces.

Sunny: *stunned* O-OT-OTHER TIMELINES? THERE ARE OTHER TIMELINES OF OUR UNIVERSE?!

Blue: *stunned* So there are-*Shakes his head* You know what let's not go deep into this when we are being told bombshells left and right agreed?

Dragons and Ricky: AGREED!

Ricky: So back on track, so with his father, Clearslight and Queen Diamond causing a large amount of stress it's no wonder HE SNAPPED.

Clay: And the events we know now happened. -sighs- I will admit even though it was alot and it stings to know all this...this was a necessary.

Moonwacther: *nods* I agree, I do wish to talk to Fo-Hope very soon. I do beleive she would want to know others know of her story, her tragedy.

Ricky: Good idea...There is, also something else you guys should know.

Nightwacther: Oh boy, good or bad?

Ricky: More, something to clear up here. Queen Oasis death, was an accident.

Peril: *shock* OKAY, DETAILS ON THAT?

Ricky leaned back a bit as the dragons were close to his face, almost all of them as Clay and Moonwacther brought them back.

Luna: Please, what happened that fateful day?

Ricky nodded, taking a sip to calm himself from the surprise reactions.

Ricky: It accident was from a human called Stone, he hit her with a spear right in th eye. That lead to a whole lot of lying, another guy took the treasure and claimed it as his own, lady , nt missing and found out you guys are heroes too, oh and you should keep an eye on this invincible lord of something. He said he wants to control Wren and take over the world too, no idea when that's gonna happen but wanted to warn ya.

Snowfall rubbed her temple with a low growl of annoyance.

Snowfall: *Sarcasm* Ode to joy, another mad lord to worry about and this time humans have to deal with him as well.

Glory: Even so, all this has been a huge boone for us.

Qibli: Yes! And, even though we might have more questions, we at least got answers to the past.

The rest of the dragons nodded, Clay going down and placing his muzzle on Ricky's forehead with a gentle smile.

Clay: Thank you, Ricky. For telling us all this.

Ricky smiled as he patted Clay's muzzle with his one hand.

Ricky: Just happy you guys know, though granted this was not what I expected to happen after a final exams.

Snowfall: Even so, I do say you and your friends have proven yourself beyond the exams regarding this.

The dragons nodded and Clay stood up strong.

Ricky: *hopeful* So, does that mean your in?

...The dragons smiled warmly at him nodding.

Moonwachter: Yes, you Guardian have our support for this alliance.

Ricky jumped up as his empty cup flew from his hands into Sundew, cheering with a smile on his face and amusing the dragons.

Ricky: Awesome! The others are going to be thrilled to hear the news and meet you guys!

Sunny: Well we can't wait to meet them, though take my advice..you MIGHT want to fix your mode of transportation to our universe. I think the last thing your Rusher friends would want it to turn into longmas.

Ricky laughed nodding in agreement.

Ricky: Got it, I'll have RZ look into that when we get back.

Ricky sighed as he closed the door of the room he, Peck and Cyclops were staying in. He and the rest of the dragon heroes had called it a day (and night) and headed to bed.

Ricky: *content* SUCCESS.

Ricky turned his head, seeing Cyclops holding Peck in a protective manner. His smile softened as he walked over, sitting down next to them.

Ricky: You guys are going to be so happy to hear the great news when you wake up. Know the others will too when we get back to Earth...PRIME? *thinks*...Yeah Prime Earth sounds right.

He laid on the hey bed, exhausted from all the events finally hitting him as he yawned.

Ricky: *sleepy* Lesson learned, expect things to go interesting with this mission...Good, to, know *falls asleep*.

With that the Jade Academy finally was in sleep mode, all sound asleep at last.
