ACT II

A low rumble echoed through the mountains, faint at first, like a distant storm. Then came the tremors, subtle but unmistakable, rattling pots and windows. The villagers paused, their gazes lifting toward the horizon where an eerie crimson glow began to seep into the sky, tainting the morning light.

From the forest edge, a monstrous figure emerged, blotting out the faint hope of the sunrise. Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox, loomed like a nightmare given form, his massive figure radiating malice. His crimson fur shimmered with chakra, his tails thrashing the air with raw power. Each step he took shook the ground, cracks spreading like veins across the cobblestone streets.

The villagers froze in terror, their faces pale as death. Mothers clutched their children, merchants abandoned their stalls, and the once-peaceful air was filled with cries of panic.

"The Nine-Tails!" a guard screamed from the watchtower, his voice cracking with terror. "It's here! Run! Run for your lives!"

The village erupted into chaos. People scattered like ants, their screams a discordant symphony of despair. Kurama roared, the sound so deep and primal it seemed to shake the very heavens. Above the beast, silhouetted against the blood-red sky, stood Naruto, his eyes blazing with an unholy crimson light. His expression was cold, unrecognizable—a grim mask of fury and vengeance.

The skies darkened further, as if the universe itself mourned the village's impending fate.

His massive claws dug into the earth, leaving gouges as deep as trenches. His tails lashed wildly, demolishing buildings with each swing. In his mouth, a glowing sphere of condensed chakra began to form, crackling with deadly energy.

"No! No!" a woman cried as she stumbled, clutching her chest. She fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face as the massive beast unleashed the Bijū Bomb. The sphere rocketed forward, obliterating an entire street in a flash of blinding light. The sound of the explosion echoed through the valley, followed by the anguished screams of those caught in the blast.

Before the rest of the village could react, another massive explosion erupted in the village square, a shockwave flattening market stalls and sending people flying like ragdolls. Fire ignited instantly, spreading in ravenous tendrils as a monstrous figure emerged from the smoke.

Above, the sky wept ash and embers. The sun was gone now, replaced by an eerie twilight as smoke and fire consumed the horizon. Villagers wailed as they ran, their faces streaked with soot and tears, their hope dwindling with each passing second.

Around the village, shadow clones of Naruto darted through the chaos, ruthlessly killing anyone who tried to fight back.

"Please! Spare us!" a young man begged as he shielded his wife and child behind him. One of the clones stepped forward, its kunai dripping with blood. It tilted its head, a mockery of contemplation, before driving the blade into the man's chest. The wife's screams pierced the air as she clutched her child, tears streaming down her face as the clone disappeared into the smoke.

A woman clutching her infant staggered into a burning alley, coughing from the thick smoke. "Help us!" she cried to a villager running past, but the man didn't stop. He didn't even glance back. She turned, trembling, only to see one of Kurama's massive tails descending. She barely had time to scream before it smashed into the ground, leaving only silence and a crater where the alley once stood.

Amid the destruction, a blacksmith grabbed his hammer and tried to rally the terrified villagers. "We have to fight!" he roared, his voice desperate. "If we don't, we're all dead!" He led a small group toward Kurama, their makeshift weapons gleaming. But they didn't stand a chance.

Naruto leaped down from Kurama's head, his movements swift and fluid. Before the group could get within ten feet of the beast, Naruto's Rasengan tore through them, sending bodies flying like broken dolls. He stood among the carnage, his hands dripping with blood.

From a distance, a child peeked out from behind a collapsed building, his wide eyes brimming with tears. He watched as Naruto, the hero he had once admired, unleashed a second Rasengan on another group of villagers. The boy's mother yanked him back, her voice a frantic whisper. "Don't look, baby. Don't look!"

Kurama roared again, his chakra blazing brighter as he unleashed another Bijū Bomb. The sphere sailed into the heart of the village, detonating with a deafening roar. Buildings crumbled like sandcastles, and the ground itself seemed to convulse. The once-thriving village was now a hellscape of fire and smoke, littered with the bodies of the fallen.

High above the chaos, a villager desperately climbed the bell tower, his face streaked with soot and tears. Reaching the top, he rang the bell with all his might, the frantic clangs echoing through the destruction.

"Alert the next village! The Nine-Tails is attacking! Run for your lives!"

But his cries were cut short as one of Naruto's clones appeared behind him, driving a kunai into his back. The villager collapsed, his lifeless body tumbling from the tower and plowing into the ground. The bell continued to ring, its sound a haunting reminder of the village's final moments.

As the fires roared and the screams begin to fade,Naruto stood amidst the wreckage, his breath steady, his expression unyielding. Kurama loomed behind him, his tails still swaying, his eyes burning with primal fury.

The air was thick with ash and smoke, the acrid scent of burning wood and flesh suffocating. In the southern part of the village Hinata crouched low behind the crumbling remains of what had once been a bakery, her Byakugan activated, veins pulsing around her eyes as she scanned her surroundings. Her heart pounded in her chest, the sound almost drowning out the chaos around her.

She could see them—Naruto's shadow clones, dozens of them, moving with eerie precision through the wreckage. They tore through the village without hesitation, their kunai slicing down anyone who crossed their path. The monstrous form of Kurama loomed in the distance, his tails crashing into buildings with thunderous force. Explosions lit the sky as Bijū Bombs obliterated entire blocks, the earth trembling beneath their might.

Tears blurred Hinata's vision as she desperately navigated the chaos, her Byakugan giving her a glimpse of the destruction she couldn't bear to see with her own eyes. She clenched her fists, forcing herself to focus.I can't fall apart now. There are people who still need me.

Ahead, she spotted a group of children huddled together near a toppled cart, their faces streaked with soot and terror. One of them clutched a ragged stuffed toy, their tiny body trembling as they stared at the flames consuming their home.

"Over here!" Hinata whispered urgently, motioning to them. The children flinched at first, but when they saw her kind face, they hesitated before rushing toward her. She gathered them close, her voice soft but firm.

"Stay with me," she said, her hands trembling as she brushed ash from a child's hair. "I'll get you to safety."

Using her Byakugan, Hinata scanned the village, mapping a path through the rubble and chaos that would avoid Naruto's clones and Kurama's destructive reach. Her heart ached with every step she took, each cry for help she couldn't answer cutting her like a blade.

She led the children through the smoldering ruins, dodging falling debris and leaping over broken beams. Flames licked at her heels, the heat searing her skin, but she pressed on. Her tears fell freely now, her heart breaking not just for the village but for Naruto.

How did it come to this?she thought, her chest tightening.Naruto-kun… how could you…?

As they neared the orphanage, Hinata caught sight of more children trapped inside, their frightened faces peeking through the shattered windows. She felt her knees buckle, the weight of it all threatening to crush her, but she forced herself to move.

She burst through the door, her voice steady despite the tremor in her heart. "Come with me! Hurry!"

The children scrambled to her, clinging to her arms and clothing as she guided them out. The building groaned ominously, its structure weakened by Kurama's rampage. The roof caved in just as they made it out, the crash sending a plume of smoke and ash into the air.

Hinata didn't stop. She kept moving, her Byakugan focused on finding an escape route. She led the group through narrow alleys and hidden paths, her own tears mixing with the soot on her cheeks.

Her heart felt as though it would shatter.Naruto-kun, this isn't you…

One of the children stumbled, and she quickly knelt to lift them into her arms. "You're doing so well," she whispered, her voice cracking. "We're almost there. Just a little further."

They finally reached the edge of the village, the sounds of destruction fading behind them. She led them to a grassy hill just outside the chaos, where the air was clearer and the sky wasn't choked with smoke. The children collapsed, their small bodies heaving with exhaustion and fear.

Hinata turned back to look at the village, her Byakugan still activated. She could see Naruto standing atop Kurama's head, his figure dark against the glow of the flames. Her heart twisted painfully.

She sank to her knees, her hands covering her face as the sobs she'd been holding back finally broke free. How did we get here? How did I let this happen?

Memories of Naruto's smile, his laughter, his unwavering determination, flooded her mind. She had loved him for his strength, his kindness, his unshakable resolve to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. But now…

She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms.I should have seen this coming. I should have noticed the signs…

Her mind raced, searching for answers she didn't have. How could he have planned this without me realizing?

Her tears fell faster, her chest heaving with the weight of her despair. And yet, even now, even after everything, a part of her still loved him. She hated herself for it, for the weakness she felt in her heart.

"I'm sorry," she whispered to the wind, her voice trembling. "I'm so sorry, Naruto-kun… but what have you become?"
