Hypno's Naptime
Following their adventures in Celadon City, Ash, Jake, and their friends now find themselves in another city.
"Gee, it feels like all these buildings are closing in on us!" Ash said
"Yeah, and they're all so tall, you can't even see the sky!" Misty added
"Saur" Ivysaur said as it looked up
"I have to admit. This city is pretty large" Green commented
"Where are we, Brock?" Ash asked
"A, HopHopHop Town?" Brock replied confused
"HopHopHop?" Ash, Misty, and Green said confused
"Unusual name for a big city" Jake said
"Cubone" Cubone replied
"Arnold!"
A woman runs in and gives Ash a hug much to everyone's surprise
"Arnold! Where have you been, Arnold? Mother's been so worried!" the woman said
"Uh, pardon me miss, but you got the wrong guy" Jake said
"Yeah, my name is Ash" Ash said
"And my name is Misty, ma'am." Misty greeted
"She wasn't talking to you, Misty." Brock scolded
"I guess not" Misty said as Brock pulls her away
The woman gasped as she realizes her mistake
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" she apologized "But you look just like my Arnold."
"Huh?" Ash asked
"What happend to him?" Misty asked
The group and the woman all sat down at the city square as the woman begin to explain to them what happened.
"I'm so upset because my son, Arnold, just disappeared. He's been gone for three days! I can't find him anywhere." she said sadly
"And you haven't heard from him?" Brock asked
"Not a word" the mother replied
"Oh dear" Green said
"Cubone" Cubone said as it was reminded of his own mother
"Could he have gone off to become a Pokémon trainer?" Ash asked
"He did like Pokémon, of course, but he never mentioned anything about becoming a trainer." the mother said
"Don't you think he'll probably just come home soon?" Misty asked
The mother shook her head
"My son isn't the only child who's disappeared recently." she said
Everyone was surprised
"He's not?" Brock asked
"You mean to say that there are more missing children?" Jake asked
"Yes" the mother said as she turned to some missing posters on a wall "See those posters?"
The gang looked at the missing posters
"Posters?" Ash asked
"Those are pictures of all the children that have disappeared." the mother explained
"That many?" Misty asked
"There must be about five or ten children" Green said
"This must be a pretty dangerous town." Ash said
"I have to agree with ya there, bud" Jake added "Makes me lucky that we live in a small town like Pallet"
"My picture's gonna be on posters, when I'm a big, famous star. " Misty said.
Her friends give her a deadpan look
"Excuse me!" Misty said offended
"Maybe in horror movies." Ash joked
"Pikachu" Pikachu added
"Let's focus on the matter at hand here, guys" Jake said
"Ivysaur" Ivysaur agreed
"They certainly were nice children. All of them."
The gang look to see Officer Jenny
"Disappearing one by one like that. I just can't understand it" she said as she gets off her motorcycle and goes up to the wall of missing posters "Let's see, where should I hang this one?"
Ash and Jake ran up to her
"Excuse me. Are you the cousin or second cousin of the Jenny of Maiden's Peak." Ash asked
"Actually, I'm her cousin's cousin." Officer Jenny explained
"It figures" Ash said
"She sure has one extended family" Jake muttered
"This one's the most beautiful one yet." Brock said completely lovestruck
"How can you tell?" Green asked with a sweat drop
"They're all exactly alike." Misty pointed out
Brock shoves Ash and Jake aside and goes up to Officer Jenny
" It must be terrible searching for all those lost children. I would be very happy to help you in your search." the former Pewter Gym leader said as he grabs her hand
"What?!" Officer Jenny said surprised
" We can both work together hand in hand" Brock offered
Jake and Green both face palms at Brock's advances. Officer Jenny then frees her hands from Brock's
"Just don't get in the way" Officer Jenny warned
This caused Brock to laugh nervously. Ash was watching Arnold's mother who is sad over the loss of her son
"Gee. She reminds me of, my mom." Ash said as he thought back to the last time he saw Delia at Porta Vista "She must be worried"
Pikachu leaps onto his head
"Pikachu"
"You think so too, huh?" Ash asked
"Pika" Pikachu replied
" Well, in that case, Detective Ash Ketchum will solve this mystery!" Ash declared
"Pika!" Pikachu added
Misty shrugs her shoulders while Jake, Green, Ivysaur, and Cubone all look at each other
The gang then followed Officer Jenny through HopHopHop town.
"All of the missing children disappeared exactly three days ago." Officer Jenny explained
"Three days ago?" Ash asked
"Besides that, do the missing children have anything else in common?" Brock asked
"That's a brilliant deduction! The missing children must have something in common." Ash said
"Don't they?" Green asked
"They don't have a thing in common" Officer Jenny confessed
"Hmmm" Ash hummed
"But I think other kids may know something about it." Officer Jenny said
They stopped in front of a Pokémon Center
" I see. So we'll ask the kids in the Pokémon Center if they know anything." Brock said
"That's it, Brock! Brilliant deduction!" Ash said
"Then let's get to it" Jake said
"Ivysaur!" Ivysaur said
"Bone" Cubone added
They all head inside where they begin to ask some kids some questions.
"Have you seen this little boy before?" Officer Jenny asked two boys while showing a picture to them
"I haven't" the first boy replied
" Yeah. I play with him all the time." the second boy replied
"When was the last time you saw him?" Officer Jenny asked
"I don't know" the second boy answered
Brock then comes in
" You two had better answer all these questions truthfully." he demanded while looking intimidating
"Okay" one of the boys said nervously
"Now tell this beautiful young lady everything you know." Brock said
The two boys looked at him confused
" You do think she's beautiful, don't ya? Come on. What do you say?" Brock asked
"Now you're getting in the way!" Officer Jenny yelled
Jake, Green, Ivysaur, and Cubone were seen asking a boy and girl while showing a picture of one of the missing kids
"Have you seen this boy?" Green asked
"Sorry. Can't say I have" the girl replied
"But did you at least know him?" Jake asked
"I did played with him once. But other than that, I haven't seen him. Sorry" the boy apologized
"Thanks anyway" Jake sighed
Ash and Misty walked up to Nurse Joy behind the counter
"I bet you're related to the Joy in Maiden's Peak, aren't you?" Ash guessed
"Well, you'd win that bet." Nurse Joy replied
"We're here about the missing children." Misty said as she showed her a photo
"Oh, those kids who disappeared all of a sudden. I saw it on the news." Nurse Joy said
"Please, is there anything you can tell us about these children?" asked Ash
"I'd like to help you, but right now, I'm afraid I've got my hands full with our own mystery." Nurse Joy replied sadly
"What do you mean? What's the matter?" Misty asked
"All of the Pokémon here at the center are behaving very strangely." Nurse Joy explained
Ash and Misty were both surprised and confused. A few minutes later, the gang and Officer Jenny are in another room in the Pokémon Center where Nurse Joy showed them the Pokémon there
"Just look at Cubone, and Oddish. Even Magikarp is affected, and it's usually full of life." Nurse Joy said
"Poor things" Green said sadly
"Cubone" Cubone said as he looked at the Cubone lying on the table
"Saur" Ivysaur said sadly
"The magic's disappeared." Misty said
"Looks like it's ready for the deli counter" Ash added
"This flame on this Charmander could go out any minute." Nurse Joy explained as she looked at the downed Charmander
Jake gulps as he knows what will happen if Charmander's flame ever goes out. Nurse Joy then takes out a yellow duck like Pokémon
"And this one's been in just terrible shape." she said
"What's that?" Ash asked
"I think that's a Psyduck" Jake said
Ash takes out his Pokédex and scans it
Ash's Pokédex: Psyduck, a Water Pokémon. Uses mysterious power to perform various attacks. Psyduck constantly suffers from a headache.
"Mysterious powers?" Ash puzzled
"That's hard to believe" Misty commented
"I read somewhere that Psyduck uses those powers if it's headache is so great" Jake said
"I wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of that" Green said
"So what's causing all this?" Brock asked
"I have no idea" Nurse Joy answered
"How long have they been acting like this?" Misty asked
"Since three days ago." Nurse Joy replied
"Three days ago? And that's exactly when all those children disappeared, isn't it?" Brock asked
"That can't be a coincidence" Jake said
"You're right. I wonder if maybe there's some kind of connection between the children's disappearance and the Pokémon's lack of energy." Officer Jenny pondered
"One mystery leads to another. One more puzzle for the mind of Ash Ketchum, master detective. Hmm." Ash said as he begins to think
"Did you think of anything yet?" Misty asked
"Not a thing" Ash replied
This caused his friends to sigh in disbelief
'How can he call himself a detective if he has no clue' thought Jake
"Something's very strange" Officer Jenny said until a noise was heard
"Is that your radio?" Misty asked
"Mmmm mmmm" Officer Jenny said as she takes out a device with a wavelenght "It's picking up something."
"I bet I know what that is! A handsome guy detector!" Brock said as he leans next to her
"Don't kid yourself!" Officer Jenny said as she shoves Brock aside "This is a sleep wave detector."
" A sleep wave detector?" Brock asked
"Lately, I've been picking up sleep waves." Officer Jenny explained
"What are sleep waves?" asked Green
"Wavelengths that induce sleep." Officer Jenny answered
"Do you think that's the reason why the Pokémon are all feeling wiped out, Nurse Joy?" asked Jake
"Could be. But I'm pretty sure that their aren't any Pokémon that emit that wavelength in this center." Nurse Joy said
"They're coming from outside." Officer Jenny said as she examines her detector
Suddenly, Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone all started to lose energy and passed out
"Oh no! Look! Even Pikachu's losing energy!" Ash yelled
"Don't forget Ivysaur and Cubone!" Jake added
"This is really bad!" Green said worried
"I wonder if those sleep waves and the Pokémon's condition are.." Brock began
"Yeah! They may be connected!" Officer Jenny finished
"Hey, Pikachu. Wake up, pal." Ash said as he tries to wake his starter up
"Come on you two. Up and at em" Jake said as he also tries to wake his Pokémon up
"It's no use guys. They don't have the energy to get up" Green said
"I think we better find the source of these sleep waves." Officer Jenny said
The gang all agreed
The gang and Offier Jenny made their way out of the Pokémon Center and begin to search for the source of the sleep waves as they walked through town. They then stopped in front of a tall building where the detector's signal begins to get a little stronger
"They're coming from this building!" Officer Jenny said as she looked at the building
"Whoa! It's so tall!" Ash said
"Yeah. Like a skyscraper" Jake added
"They seem to be coming from the roof!" Officer Jenny said
"Let's go!" Brock said
They all raced inside the building and took the elevator. As it went up, Officer Jenny looked at her detector
"As we go up, the signal's getting stronger." she explained
The elevator the reaches the roof of the building and it opens. The gang and Officer Jenny followed the signal to a door with an exit sign on top. The female officer opens the door and reveals a mansion on top.
"What's that?" Ash asked
"A mansion on top of this skyscraper?!" Brock puzzled
"How can that be?!" Green asked as she scratched her head
"They must have a lot of money to have this built" Jake said
"It's coming from inside there!" Officer Jenny said as she looked at her detector
"Alright!" Ash said as he charged ahead
"Wait Ash!" Misty said
Ash raced up to the entrance of the mansion. After putting his head on the door, he signals his friends to come up which they did. They both crouched down to try to hear something inside
"So what do we do?" Jake asked
"There's someone inside. I'm going in." Ash said
Ash and Brock got in position to charge
"Ready? Set!" they cried
Ash and Brock charge in and push open the door. As they head in, everyone in the mansion were surprised by them. Ash and Brock look around and noticed two yellow Pokémon on a table. Jake, Green, Officer Jenny, and Misty came in as well
"What is this place?" Brock asked
"What's going on here?" Ash asked
"Oh boy" Jake said with a sweat drop
Everyone in the mansion continues to stare at the gang and Officer Jenny.
"Are you new members?" a man asked
"Members?" Ash asked
"Heh heh. We're really sorry about this, everyone. We didn't mean to crash this party" Jake said
"We've been monitoring some sleep waves coming from up here." Officer Jenny informed
"Sleep waves? Oh, I know!" the man said as he turned to the yellow Pokémon on the table "This Hypno must have been emitting them."
"Hypno?" Ash asked as he takes out his Pokédex
Ash's Pokédex: Hypno, a Hypnosis Pokémon. It carries a pendulum-like device and performs hypnotic attacks.
" And what's that next to it?" Misty asked as she sees another yellow Pokémon next to Hypno
"I believe that's a Drowzee" Green said
Ash points his Pokédex at Drowzee
Ash's Pokédex: Drowzee. Said to be a descendant of the dream-eating tapir. It was the first Pokémon to use a combination attack like Hypnosis and Dream Eater.
"I think Hypno is the evolved form of a Drowzee, isn't it?" Brock asked
" Yes, that's correct. And our Drowzee finally evolved into a Hypno, three days ago." the man explained
The group was shocked
"Three days ago!?" Brock said in shock
" I knew it! That's just when those children vanished and the Pokémon started to lose all their energy." Officer Jenny deduced
The gang nod their heads
"We've been using the Pokémon instead of using sleeping medicine." another man explained
"What do you mean we?" Misty asked
"The members of the Pokémon Lover's Club." answered the head man
"Pokémon Lover's Club?" Green asked
"Precisely. You see, all of our members absolutely adore Pokémon and, well, Hypno has become our favorite Pokémon. Everyone's hard work paid off when Drowzee finally evolved." the head man explained
"Fascinating" Jake said
"Living our lives in the city can be very stressful, and all the members suffer from insomnia. So, we've come to rely on Hypno's powers to help us get to sleep at night." the head man continued to explain
Hypno demonstartes it's ability by swinging it's pendulum on a member.
"Hypno's sleep waves must have affected all those Pokémon by sapping their energy!" Ash yelled as Misty took Pikachu out of his backpack "Take a look at my Pikachu!"
"And my Pokémon too" Jake said as he takes out two Poké Balls and lets his Ivysaur and Cubone out
"The same thing happened to all the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center." Misty explained
" It must be a.." the head man begin
"Side effect!?" Brock said
"Side effect?" Ash asked
"Care to explain, Brock?" Green asked
" Hypno's hypnotic powers are usually just used on other Pokémon. Since the wavelength was changed to effect humans, it's creating a side effect for the Pokémon." Brock explained
"Yeah" Ash said
"That makes sense" Green added
"Somehow we've accidentally caused a terrible situation." the man said
"You know what? I'll bet that new wavelength can even effect some kids that are sensitive to it, too!" Brock said
"Kids?" Ash puzzled
"He must be talking about the missing kids on the posters" Jake said as he puts his Ivysaur and Cubon on the table
Misty did the same with Ash's Pikachu
"Let's see" she said as she looks at Hypno.
Hypno swung it's pendulum in front of Misty while Jake covered his eyes to avoid being caught in Hypno's spell. Caught in Hypno's spell, Misty begins to act like Seel
"Uh.. Seel-seel. Seel. Seel." Misty said as she claps her hands
"What's wrong with Misty?" Green asked nervously
"Misty is being controlled by the sleep waves" Brock said
"We gotta do something" Ash said
Misty then jolts up and races out of the mansion while knocking Ash down
"Hey, Misty! Where are you going?" he asked
"Quick! After her!" Jake yelled
Ash, Jake, Brock, and Officer Jenny chased after the hypnotized Misty. The head man even accompanied them. They raced out of the building and into a park.
" I can't believe there's a park this big in the middle of the city!" Ash said
"We better not lose Misty then" Green added
They continue to follow Misty until they ended up in front of a lake. The group also seen a bunch of children all acting like Pokémon
"These are all the missing children!" Officer Jenny said
"This is where they've been all this time?" Green asked
"It looks that way" Jake said
"What's happening? Why are they acting that way?" asked Ash
"Pokémon-itis." Brock answered
"Pokémon-itis?!" Ash puzzled
"With that new wavelength, the children who were exposed to Hypno's sleep waves think that they're Pokémon now!" Brock explained
"And it got Misty too?" Ash asked
"Yeah" Brock replied
They look at Misty who was still acting like a Seel
"How on Earth could a thing like this have happened?" the man asked
"If I were to guess. That might've been Hypno's doing" Jake said
"Alright! Wake up, everyone! It's time to go home! Come on, stop this! Wake up, now, kids! All of your mothers are worried sick!" Officer Jenny said
She attempts to pull a girl who was acting like a Magikarp away, but to no avail.
"It's just no use" Officer Jenny said sadly
"What can we do?" Ash asked
"Yeah. How are we gonna change them back?" Jake asked
Brock begins to think until the man spoke
"Say! I know! What if we use Drowzee to cure the children?" he said
"Drowzee?" Ash asked
"Sleep emits dream wavelengths which, in this case, may counteract Hypno's wavelengths." the man explained
"Yeah! That might just work!" Brock said
"Let's give it a try!" Ash said
"We'll need a test subject first" Jake said
"And we know just the one" Green added
They all look at Misty
They all brought Misty back to the Pokémon Lover's Club. Misty was seated in a chair in front of Drowzee.
"Drowzee, emit your dream waves and focus them toward this young girl" the man instructed
Drowzee did what he said and emits it's dream waves on Misty sending her into a deep sleep
"Misty" Ash said
"She must be in a pretty deep trance" Brock added
"I sure hope this works" Green said
"Me too" Jake added
Once Drowzee emits the dream waves, it claps it's hands making Misty wake up
"Hey! Where am I?" she asked
"Gee, Misty. You're looking kinda beat." Ash said
"When I want your opinion, I'll ask for it!" Misty snapped at him
"She's back to normal" Ash said
Everyone was relieved while Misty was confused
"Now we've got to use Drowzee's sleep waves on all those kids in the park!" Officer Jenny said
" Okay! Now we gotta get those kids back to normal!" Ash said as he carries Drowzee over his head
"Let's roll!" Jake said
The gang and Officer Jenny raced out of the mansion
"You mean I thought I was a Pokémon?" asked Misty
"Yeah! You turned completely into a Seel!" Ash replied
"The good is news we were able to to turn you back" Jake pointed out "Once we get to the park, we should be able to reverse the effects on the other children"
Suddenly, something appeared in the air. The gang stops and took notice of them
"What's that?" Brock asked
"Whatever it is, it's coming this way." Misty said
Ash, Jake, and Green took a good look and recognized the familiar trio
"Is that who I think it is?" Green asked
"It sure is" Jake replied
" Oh no! Not them!" Ash groaned
It turns out to be Team Rocket flying on some hang gliders. They then recite their motto
" Prepare for trouble!"
" Make it double!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Ha! Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender, now, or prepare to fight!"
" Meowth! That's flight!"
" Now, let's swoop down and swipe those hypnosis Pokémon!" Meowth said
Team Rocket swoops in. Jessie and Meowth landed on the ground while James made a bumpier landing
"Nice three point landing." Meowth commented
"Team Rocket is here to take possession of Drowzee and Hypno." Jessie said
"You're dreaming!" Ash snapped
"What he said. You're not taking them!" Jake yelled
"Well, we'll just have to see who's dreaming after this!" Jessie said as she takes out something from behind a cloth "If Hypno can put anything to sleep, try... This!"
She uncovers the cloth to reveal a mirror
"Now wait!" Ash yelled
"If you have any pride as a hypnosis Pokémon, you'll do it." Jessie said
" This is known as "The Team Rocket Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the sleepiest of them all? dirty trick strategy"!" Meowth added
"Just don't hypnotize me. Okay, do it." James said as he held the mirror in front of Hypno
Hypno used it's hynosis powers on the mirror which bounces back on it.
" You've got to do something, guys!" Misty said to Ash and Jake
" There's not much time!" Ash said
He picks up a potted plant and hurls it which shatters the mirror
"Quick thinking, Ash" Jake said
"Thanks" Ash replied
"And we thought so hard to come up with that strategy!" Jessie grumbled
She and James takes out whips and wraps them around Hypno and Drowzee
"We got em! Now, we'll just fly away with our catch!" Meowth said triumphantly
" I don't get it. Why didn't we do this from the beginning?" asked James
" We have to fill a half hour." Jessie answered
"Oh no you don't!" Jake yelled as he grabs Drowzee
Ash and Green held on to Jake's back as they try to pull Drowzee away
"Hang on guys!" Misty said as she throws her Poké Ball "Go, Staryu!"
Staryu comes out and begins to spin very fast. It cuts the whips making Jessie and James fall down. Ash and Jake both take out their Poké Balls
"Pikachu, come on out!" Jake said as he let's his Pikachu out
"Pidgeotto, go!" Ash yelled as he turns his cap and let's Pidgeotto out
"Pikachu, Thundershock attack! Full power!" Jake yelled
Pikachu zaps Team Rocket with a powerful Thundershock
"Okay, Pidgeotto! Powerful Gust!" Ash ordered
Pidgeotto flaps it's wings very hard to unleashed Gust. The Team Rocket trio struggle against the wind.
"Give em your best blast!" Ash yelled
Pidgeotto flapped it's wings even harder to increase it's Gust attack until the Team Rocket trio were blown away
" I suppose this means we blew it again! " Jessie screamed
" Oh, we blew it again! We blew it sky high!" James added
"And what goes up must always come down." Meowth commented
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" they cried as they fell and crashed somewhere in the city
"And that's that" Jake said
"Come on, guys! Let's go!" Brock said
"Right!" Ash said
"To the park!" Green added
The gang made their way back to the park. Ash carried Pikachu while Jake carried Ivysaur and Cubone. Drowzee used it's powers to putt all the children to sleep along with Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone
"It's working" Green said happilly
"Yes. They're all dreaming!" Brock added
"Pikachu too" Ash said
"And Ivysaur and Cubone" Jake added as he placed his Ivysaur down while still holding Cubone
Drowzee then claps his hands making all the children wake up and back to normal.
" Hey! How did I get into the middle of the park?!" asked a boy
"Me too! And I should be working on becoming a Pokémon trainer!" another boy said
" I wanna be a fireman!" another boy said
" And I'm gonna be a doctor!" a girl added
All the children left the park to head on home. Both Ash and Jake's Pokémon all woke up
"Pikachu" Pikachu said as it woke up
"Pikachu! Sounds like you're back to your old self." Ash said
Ivysaur stretched it's back as it woke up while Cubone stretched it's arms as he woke up. Jake and Green kneeled down as that happened
"Ivy?"
"Cubone?"
"Ivsysaur. Cubone. Welcome back, you two" Jake said
Ivysaur and Cubone smiled at their trainer. Green giggled as she pets Ivysaur's head
"Arnold!"
The gang look to see the mother running in
"It's that mother we met" Misty said
The watched as the mother runs up to a little boy and gives him a hug
"I'm guessing that's Arnold?" Green guessed
"Sure is" Jake said
"That's great" Ash said
"Yeah" Misty added
"Ash. Jake. We've gotta cure the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, too." Brock reminded
"Right" Ash said
"Let's go" Jake added
The gang head back to the Pokémon Center where Drowzee used it's powers to put the Pokémon to sleep and waking them up.
"The Pokémon are all back to normal!" Nurse Joy said
"That's great" Jake added
"Sometimes, I wonder what the Pokémon dream about." Misty said
"I'd love to know that too." Ash added
"Me too" Green added
"They must've been dreaming about of getting stronger and evolving." Brock guessed
"I dream about that sometimes, too." Misty said
"You do know that you're not a Pokémon. Right?" Jake pointed out
"Well, that's just one more case solved by Ash Ketchum, master detective!" Ash claimed
" Excuse me, but you didn't solve anything." Misty pointed out
"Are you joking?" Brock asked
"And in case you didn't noticed, Officer Jenny and Brock are the ones that solved this case" Green said
"They do have a point, Ash" Jake said
"Saur" Ivysaur added
"Cubone" Cubone said
Ash laughs before sighing as he knows they are right. Nurse Joy then sighs sadly
"What's the matter? A beautiful woman shouldn't have too much to be sad about." Brock said to her
"All of the Pokémon are better, but this one is still holding its head." Nurse Joy replied as she looks at Psyduck
"Leave it to me, caring for Pokémon is the sole purpose of my life. The reason I exist." Brock said
"Then maybe you can help it" Nurse Joy suggested
This made Brock sweat drop
The gang then begin to leave HopHopHop Town with Psyduck following them
"Well, you were the one who said "leave it to me", Brock." Ash said
"But Psyduck is a water Pokémon, you better take it, Misty." Brock said to Misty
"Why would I want such a boring Pokémon?" she asked
Ash took out his Pokédex
Ash's Pokédex: Psyduck constantly suffers from a headache.
"You mean this thing always has a headache?!" Misty shouted
"That's what the Pokédex said" Green said
Misty trips on a rock and fell backwards causing one of her Poké Ball to roll up to Psyduck.
"My Pokéball!" she yelled
Curious, the Duck Pokémon taps the Poké Ball to enlarge it and taps it again to get itself captured.
"Oh no! Now it's in my Pokéball?!" Misty moaned
"It sure is" Green said
"Good work, Misty. You captured Psyduck." teased Ash
" Now I've got the headache!" groaned Misty
"Hey, you're the Water expert here, Misty. And you obviously got yourself a new Water Pokémon to take care of. So congratulations" Jake said with a smirk
"Don't you congratulate me!" Misty bellowed
This caused Ivysaur and Cubone to laugh
