Reyna

It was definitely a sight not to miss for the most part, Percy looked absolutely dumbfounded at the fact I slapped him, and it's not that I meant to either. I felt a range of emotions, especially shame for hitting my friend.

"Praetor Reyna, I clearly remember telling you that their is an army outside the border, are you going to do anything about it", Terminus woke me up out of my thoughts at that moment as I saw that the Romans were waiting for my command, I took a glance at Percy as I saw a serious face on him, not a mad one thank the Gods but still an annoyed one at that.

"ROMANS! There appears to be an army outside Camp Jupiter, and are we going to let them take us over!?"

"NO PRAETOR" was the response I got from my soldiers, even recently coming from a war they were ready to defend one another, the thought of the Gaia war put me in a sad mood, so many friends lost.

"The Fifth Cohort with me!" yelled Percy much to my surprise, "Along with the Second and First, the Fourth and Third Cohorts can stay and defend the border, I'll lead the attacking force and Reyna?", I realized that he was talking to me and was waiting to see if I agreed with his plan, it be a shame if I didn't.

"I'll stay with the Fourth and Third to defend, Percy is in charge of the attacking force so fellow Romans go get ready for war. AVE ROME!"

"AVE ROME!" was repeated back, the fifth more louder than the others, probably proud that their old centurion is leading them again. They all dispersed to get ready for the battle, with only Percy staying behind, Terminus as well left probably to defend the border.

"So we're not gonna talk about what just happened?", Percy said most likely referring to getting slapped right across the face by yours truly, I felt a blush of embarrassment streak across my face as I did my best to stay calm.

"You're referring to what Probatio Jackson?"

"I mean the fact you had a breakdown a few moments ago when Scotty left", I scoffed at the nickname he gave the deity as only him would go on to disrespect a primordial.

"I-" I realized that lying to Percy wasn't the smartest thing to do, I also remember that he's a friend, maybe something more in the future, they say opening up to someone is good no?

"A lot has happened since the war, so many soldiers lost, and honestly I was scared that the primordial was actually you, and I'm not sure how or why he's able to copy your body" Percy looked surprised at this but the next thing he did was just as surprising. He hugged me.

"You know after the whole war and being Praetor I thought I wasn't going to be on probatio again, such a shame, I was hoping i could borrow the Fifth Cohort and take over Canada as well.", I stifled a sob as I laughed into his embrace, "Defeat the army outside, and I'll see if we can get rid of the title Probatio Jackson".

Percy

As soon as the legion was ready, we all marched towards the border. On the other side there was a combo of your classic monsters, but not exactly a war army size but more like they were heading towards the concert for the band Hydra and the Three Heads and on the way they decided to camp out here.

"Perseus Jackson, finally we meet", I cringed at Perseus but by the use of my first name I knew I was in trouble. In front of the crowd was a woman, about 6 feet tall and looked humanoid enough with the only problem being her face, now don't get me wrong all women are beautiful in there own way but her face looked like she purposefully fights dens of lions in her free time, she also wore a sadistic smile on her that would give pennywise a run for his money. "I am Eris, goddess of Discord, and you JAckson will surrender Camp Jupiter to me peacefully, or we can fight which I'm begging for", as if to prove her point she went on her knees.

I looked towards the Roman Army to measure our chances, and not surprisingly I liked our chances, we were about 200 strong, it should be about 3 monsters per legionnaire so it wasn't that bad. My mind drifted off to what happened with Reyna, I wasn't expecting her to open up to me, she's one of the strongest people I know, and I didn't want to see her cry, I also winced at how she slapped me beforehand as well. The war must've taken a heavy toll on her but yet didn't it too as all?

"No offense Lady Discord but it doesn't seem like your going to be taking over New Rome with the likes of that army" at that the monsters yelled curses that would make Hades proud. Eris laughed and not like a normal laugh it was hysterical laugh something that would put the Joker to shame. Her army looked at her like they were uneasy by it as well.

"Well taking over your city wasn't exactly the plan that he told me to do but nonetheless I am a God, and even if he gave me this small army they will do the job." In the corner of my eye I saw three shadowy figures move towards the border but before I could say anything Frank interrupted me.

"Is he your referring too Scotus?" Frank said which made Eris again laugh.

"I suppose so, he hasn't forgotten you either Son of Mars, your role will be done shortly" at that Frank paled and Hazel was about to ask him what Eris meant by his face made it seem like now was not the time. I was getting annoyed by Eris so I brought out my sheild and Riptide to match her sword that was twice the size of mine.

"ROMANS, ASSEMBLE" and we charged

sorry Ive been reallly busy but I intend on makinf longer chapters and more each week hopefully Im getting a handle of working with longer chapters and they will be promise.
