The concert was starting outside Notre Dame again, and the audience was very excited to see not only the Hex Girls but also the heroes volunteering to perform with them.
"Here goes, Kitty" Ladybug said to Cat Noir.
The Hex Girls played their instruments to start the song, and the lights flashed for the stage performance while the audience cheered wildly. Mystery Inc. was still wearing superhero costumes and was keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. The real plan was that Ladybug asked Mr. Ramier's pigeons to wear spy cameras on their heads, installed by Velma's smart thinking to see the number of spy cams on her iPad.

Ladybug sang along with the girls as Cat Noir played.

So far, the gang did see one of the cams showing two ghosts lurking at the bell tower of Notre Dame, while the other looked like a silhouette figure on the rooftop.
"Who's that?" Shaggy asked.
"The culprit," Velma said.
"Zoinks! It's the necromancy!" Shaggy shrieked.
"Ruh oh!" Scooby saw the two ghosts.
"Don't worry, Ladybug's lucky charm should be able to set a trap or a solution" Fred said.
Just as the Hex Girls and the Paris duo finished the song they saw the ghosts. Ladybug and Cat Noir transformed into their real attires since they'll need their superpowers.
"It's time Ladybug!" Cat Noir brought his staff out.
"Lucky charm!" Ladybug summoned her charm and caught it.
Out came a truck mixer cement and everyone moved out of the way for it to land, "A truck mixer?" Ladybug got confused.
Cat Noir was dealing with the ghosts single-handedly to give his lady more time to solve the solution with the lucky charm.
"Aha!" She figured out, "Fred, evacuate everyone away from the Notre Dame" Ladybug communicated through her earpiece.
"Copy that," Fred said.
"Cat Noir, distract the ghosts while I create a trap. You think you can ghost hunt them?" Ladybug communicated.
"I can do that, Bugaboo" Cat Noir split his staff into batons, "Time to ghost bust you, boys! I'm no scaredy cat! And this is the house of God you're standing on!" Cat Noir spins his two staffs.
The ghosts lunged at Cat Noir but he dodged and hit them, "Hold still you mangey beast!" Ghost Monarch demanded.
"Beat it, old timer!" Cat Noir taunted.
"Not until you join us in death!" Ghost Gabriel threatened him.
"Good luck with getting my nine lives!" Cat Noir smacks them both with his batons.
"Yes! They are solid!" Cat Noir was relieved they weren't like smoke.
He puts the batons together back to staff, "Come to kitty!"
The mystery gang helped evacuate everyone out of the exterior of Notre Dame and they spotted the silhouette figure with glowing purple eyes and was on the run.
"Hey! Stop!" They chased after the figure.
Scooby Doo in Bug Noire costume barked madly to catch up to the culprit and chased it down. The figure tries to escape into the river but gets caught by Ladybug's yo-yo. But the figure managed to slip out of it and jumped into the river to escape. Scooby wasn't gonna give up and he jumped in and paddled his tail like a propeller to swim fast to the culprit.
"Get him, Scoob!" Shaggy cheered him on.
"Power up!" Ladybug transformed into Aquabug to help Scooby, "Don't lose him, Scooby!" She jumps into the river to help him.
"Rokay!" Scooby swam with her.
"Come on, gang! We gotta help them out! Look! A boat!" Fred spots an empty boat.
Aquabug and Scooby were both closing into the shadowy figure.
"Keep swimming, Scooby! I have an idea but don't get spooked by something!" Aquabug said, knowing she's got a plan to fool the culprit from getting away.
Suddenly a tiger shark appeared in the water, swimming towards the culprit. The culprit freaks out and tries to swim away.
Aquabug then swims towards the culprit with Scooby, "Grab him!" She said.
Scooby then grabs the culprit's shirt with his teeth. The butterfly brooch on the costume shirt was removed from Scooby's bite, the culprit transformed back into a civilian with a blond bun.
"No! It wasn't supposed to end like this!" She screamed.
Aquabug swims to grab the brooch, "Just as I thought"
"Well done, Ladybug!" Rena Rouge appeared from the fence, revealing the shark to be an illusion, "Reality" Rena made the illusion of the shark to vanish.

A while later at Notre Dame, the mystery gang had their masks off since they got the culprit and the two ghosts who were actually akumatized victims. Cat Noir did manage to find the akumatized object and broke it for his lady to purify it. The victims were covered in cement to their knees since Cat Noir lured them to the cement trap and it worked. The victims were actually street punks and graffiti artists to spray graffiti in abandoned alleys and subways for fun but it was illegal in some places that are not abandoned.
"I don't understand who she is. We never seen her in school files" Shaggy said.
"That's because it isn't the real her. Take a look again" Daphne who has known about makeovers and fashion, she removed the blond hair bun which was actually a wig the whole time, despite how it was ruined by water earlier. Even the contacts grey eye lens was removed earlier since she was forced to when water was causing irritation in her eyes.
"Cerise Bianca" Velma said.
"Also known as Lila Rossi" Ladybug glares at Cerise.
"Hmph!" Cerise scoffed.
"The clues shifted a lot so she could incriminate someone else the same way she tried to incriminate an innocent student out of the picture" Velma explained.
"Which explains why she used the street punks to be akumatized so we would think they were the culprits," Daphne said.
"But when she got exposed, she vowed revenge on the classmates and on Marinette Dupain Cheng by stealing the butterfly miraculous to become the new Hawk Moth since Monarch is deceased" Fred explained about Cerise's ambitions.
"And her dreams went down the drain when Gabriel Agreste replaced Lila with a new female avatar on the alliance rings, which made her feel vengeful on why she hated Gabriel Agreste for replacing her like she was nothing to him" Daphne explained the terrible grudge on Gabriel Agreste by using a fake ghost of him.
"But it still doesn't explain why she caused this trouble just before you guys arrived," Ladybug said.

During the night when Cerise disguised as a fan who wanted to join as a member of the Hex Girls, they politely told her that it takes hard work and experience and of course, Cerise made a lie that she's a great singer but the Hex Girls were not convinced and they refused to have another member in the band.
Therefore, it made Cerise extremely angry and persistent that she vowed revenge and made them pay. So, she observed the Hex Girls' concert and after the performance, they were signing autographs, Cerise akumatized herself as Volpina at the Notre Dame bell tower, creating an illusion of the ghosts to scare the Hex Girls and the classmates she knew.
In the next day scene, she disguises herself as a waitress when the other waitresses are ordered by Mayor Bustier to bring in guest food for Mystery Inc to arrive, Cerise was simply spying on Ladybug and Cat Noir talking to Mystery Inc about the ghosts. Cerise needed a plan to separate them since Mystery Inc. was very professional as mystery solvers, she knew they would solve clues to find her.
At the school, she spied on them as a burglar, and learning that they were discovering about her former identity Lila Rossi in the locker room, she knew they would discover her identity deception. So she needed to akumatize herself to scare them off but Ladybug and Cat Noir were too brave and fearless.
At the hotel, she was disguised as a waitress again to bring in food for the Hex Girls, hearing more about what the Mystery Inc. were discussing and she tried hard to hold in her anger at the Hex Girls without giving away.

"And that's why she did all this, just for revenge and to tear up the team" Velma.
"I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids and your stupid dog!" Cerise snarled.
"Well guess what? The age of akumas has ended. Your lust for revenge and destroying lives became your own undoing" Cat Noir said.
Ladybug simply looked disappointed but also because she was the reason why Lila hated her in the first place because she humiliated her. As Marinette, she didn't think clearly to make Lila stop lying to everyone. But when hearing from Adrien's side, he did try to help Lila to be more open and honest with herself but she refused to. Which of course, Cerise was a bit like Chloe to never redeem herself, it only proves that Cerise wanted everyone to bow to her only and the only way to do that was to eliminate superheroes from existence. It explains that whatever she wished for in the altered timeline, she probably wished for the miraculous to never exist, which as a result that without the kwamis existing, the universe wouldn't be created by the kwami of reality. Therefore, destroying all existence of the timeline, including everyone else.
"Marinette had every right to expose you Lila or whatever your name is. But what you tried to do was very inhuman and evil. There's nothing to gain because nothing will be ever enough" Ladybug said.
"She's right. Milady and I were chosen for a reason and it wasn't up to us, it was up to Paris to believe in us. We didn't choose to be heroes but we were chosen for a reason. You only choose personal gain and selfish desire to speed up your moment and pace which causes disasters. Instead of facing the consequences of your actions, you only ignore them and continue to cover it up with lies and turn everyone's words against them" Cat Noir said.
"This is far from over, heroes," Cerise said hatefully.
"Take her away," Rena Rouge said to the officers.
The officers brought her away while she scowled the whole time.
"I guess we no longer need to fight akumas," Rena Rouge said.
"True but there's always gonna be bigger threats than akumas," Fred said.
"And we'll be ready," Cat Noir said.
"Thank you all for helping us solve the ghost mystery and defeat Hawkmoth II once and for all" Ladybug said.
"And let's thank your brave dog for helping," Cat Noir said.
"Rhank you" Scooby smiled.
Cat Noir pets his head, "I don't get along with cats but you're the best cat" Scooby giggled.
"Yeah, let's celebrate," Shaggy said.
