Hello to all, this is Chapter 35 of the fifth and final Arc of Volume 6: Pain and Hatred!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.

Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!

Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight!

Volume 6: Chapter 35: Unopposed! The Strength Beyond Hate and Power!

Previously in DKR:

Obito arrived to see the show about to begin along with another with a strange pink colored camera. Shadow Knight allowed the two young men to fight, tossing their Senzu Bean.

Not wanting his friend to succumb to despair but also wanting to make the world a better place without killing the ideal of ambition and more deaths; Yugi opposed Kojan as the two finally began their rematch. The fight started with the two evenly matched to Kojan's annoyance. It was a fight of strategy and distraction, the two colliding back-to-back. Whenever Kojan activated the Sharingan, Yugi responded with Yin-Yang Dragon form. Even when Kojan used his superior eyesight to predict where and how Yugi would attack, Yugi also responded with a similar style to intercept Kojan's movement.

The fight was still even when the two entered their Rising Limit to try to overpower the other. However, it was also cleared the two are still holding back and it was revealed with Kojan activating his Mangekyou Sharingan.

Can Yugi really be able to fight Kojan with his dangerous Mangekyou ability?

Obito continues watching, concerned at first by Yugi's skills but he's calmed down with Kojan now taking the fight seriously, using the power of the Uchiha to crush him.

"Oh? Kojan is taking the fight very serious.'' He comments as his visible Sharingan eye narrows, almost humorous as he scales Kojan's power; the very same that destroyed the fake Pain and his Paths. ''His Mangekyou is impressive. Very good, Kojan.''

''…'' The stranger with the camera remains silent, staring at Yugi.

''What are you going to do, Dragon Knight?'' He questions himself, wondering if the kid can turn the tide again.

Yugi gazes calmly towards Kojan and his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes, staring down at each other. They gaze at the other before they vanish with insane speed, vanishing in front of everyone else. However, the two are actually clashing at such speed.

The two are blitzing across the rooftop, the floor cracking and shattering. Everyone braced themselves, feeling the building trembling. Shadow Knight breathes, engulfing the floor in his energy shadow, maintaining and even protecting the building from breaking into pieces.

''This building will be safe…'' He ensures the group with his arms hidden widens his cloak as he spreads his power across the neighboring buildings. ''Any other building I will protect too. I don't want any innocents to get down below.''

''T-thanks?'' Erika utters, rather unease by just how powerful this masked man is. He seems to be stronger than Yugi and Kojan in some ways. Ryan also nods as Jonouchi begins complaining. ''This is insane. We can't even react to them.''

None of them can't keep up with their speed, even Shadow is struggling at this point. Ichigo remains silent, able to keep up to their speed but she is worried. Kojan isn't going to hold back, which means it'll become bad for Yugi.

Yugi tries to use Dragonaun Lancer but Kojan evades around him and delivers a strong kick that launches him backwards. He then comes at him with multiple swings, forcing Yugi to try to move without thinking only to get nearly slashed by Kojan's blade if he didn't block in the last second.

''Kojan-kun is reacting faster now.'' The tricolor head tells himself, panicking by the jump of power Kojan has obtained through the Mangekyou.

Kojan performs another Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation, breathing the intense tidal wave of flames coming right towards Yugi who grinds his feet on the floor and hops off with such a strong bounce that he completely evades the flames no less so fast.

''DRAGONAUN TENSHO!'' Roaring as he twirls around, Yugi swings his lance blade and fires his signature energy wave right at Kojan who just stands there. Instead, he lifts his head as his eyes glow and the energy wave suddenly reshapes and becomes thousands of arrows that fire upward towards Yugi. He quickly manifests his wings and tail, using a combination of Dragonaun Wingbeat and Dragonaun Whip along with the Dragon Slayer to reflect or shatter the incoming arrows.

Yugi startles heavily as he lands on the ground, his dragon features vanishing. Kaiba then demands, also surprised by what even happened. ''What the hell just happened?!''

''His attack was reformed and used to attack him like…'' Shadow begins to utter, recalling a similar experience when he and Alicia fought Kojan. Ichigo grunts, not by the ability but that she's struggling to remember the damn name. It was based on a Japanese God. Which was it- RIGHT!

''That's Yahata no Kami!'' She yells out in distress, finally remembering the name as she informs the group. ''I don't get much about it but that's his Mangekyou ability. It seems to like alter or control attacks to Kojan's liking Nya!''

Shadow narrows his eyes, confirming his suspicions after all. He looks back at the fight as Yugi tries using Yin-Yang Dash to blitz right at Kojan only to find himself making a U-turn and nearly falls off the edge of the rooftop if he doesn't make another turn and grinds his feet, stopping himself in the tracks.

''Like that?'' Haruto questions, having experienced that too. Ichigo nods, gulping as that power is almost unpredictable.

Yugi could have been launched off the building and splattered across the sides of another or the floor down below. He turns around and sees Kojan using one of his Squall Release attacks as he quickly aims with his lance.

''DRAGONAUN BURNING!'' Tracing his lance to form a fiery circle, Yugi shouts as he thrusts the tip of his weapon through that and releases an intense burst of flames. His attack counters and consumes Kojan's as it comes right at him… only for Kojan's Mangekyou eyes to gaze at his attack. The blazing fire blast is peeling apart like string cheese and hits all around Kojan, not once touching him before those flames faded away.

Yugi grunts, really wanting to avoid using Burst Limit yet. He needs to confirm how this ability works so he can counter it, plus he has no idea if he has another secret ability that could take advantage of the fight… plus Kojan's own Burst Limit. Until Kojan uses his, he won't yet.

He tries charging as Kojan can see him clearly in slow motion. He manifests his Susanoo arms, swinging a barrage of punches that Yugi is forced to dodge or try to until he's doubled fisted and slams away.

Yugi grunts in pain, lifting his head up as the Susanoo arms manifests and throws projectiles at him which he dodges with Yin-Yang Dash. He tries to get around Kojan but he keeps up and continues firing more projectiles, keeping Yugi away from him.

''Using any of my attacks won't work.'' The tricolor head tells himself, trying to figure out what he can do. Anything he does, Kojan will see it and- and… Yugi soon widens his eyes, realizing something. ''Unless!'' Could that technique still require that, he tells himself. If so, then it's worth trying.

Yugi leaps up and creates 3 Dragon Clones who all dash towards Kojan while overlapping over the other as if swapping places. Kojan watches this and scoffs.

''You think you can confuse me on which is the real one?!'' He yells as his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes glow as he can tell who-

However, Kojan startles as his eyes can't tell between the original and clones, all of them mixing their auras in such a way that he can't read through their Chakra, as if disguising the one difference between the clones and the original.

''What?! I can't-'' The Uchiha tells himself as the clones are approaching him. Kojan commands his Susanoo arms to swing at the clones but they move past them with greater speed as they're all in range of Kojan as the original vanishes from Kojan's view.

''RAIKIRI PULSE!'' Slamming his hand onto the ground, Kojan releases a surge of electricity that resembles sharp spears that stabs through 3 of the Dragon Clones, puffing them away. Kojan turns around fast as Yugi comes charging with a Dragonaun Slash swing but Kojan's Mangekyou is about to make Yugi miss his attack… until Yugi twirls around and places his left hand's index and middle finger, vanishing.

Kojan widens his eyes as Yugi reappears behind him as the Uchiha feels him and turns around fast, swinging his blades to block the lance's swing… but not the Dragonaun Rasengan that connects across Kojan's back side and explodes on impact.

Everyone nearly gasps or is silent in shock while Kojan has a terrified shocked expression as he's blasted and skidding across the floor before stopping near the edge of the rooftop. He gasps heavily, his coat partly burned and even the front opened up to show his red undershirt. He breathes heavily, gritting his teeth in pain as he lifts his enraged Sharingan eyes at the calm Yugi.

''W-what just happened?'' Ichigo asks, so confused by what even happened for once. Jenny, however, understood what Yugi did as she best explains it. ''Yugi attacked Kojan-kun from the back with that teleportation ability of his, using his clones and not letting Kojan's eyes to see him.''

Shadow Knight doesn't say a word as he just nods.

Kojan gasps heavily, standing up still shaken by what even hit him. He gazes at Yugi who has a small smirk on his face.

''Kojan-kun's Mangekyou is super amazing but I've figured out its weakness.'' Yugi announces, realizing if he can mix the Sharingan's ability to read Chakra with different energies, using the Draconic Power to do it; then not even Kojan would tell which one is the original.

Kojan just glares, not realizing Yugi would figure out his Yahata no Kami's one weakness; the ability doesn't work on everything. He can manipulate energy and attacks in a specific way, some more complex than others but the one problem is that he must see the attack. If he doesn't; the ability won't work.

''Oh? Not bad.'' Obito comments, not surprised that Yugi figures that out. After all, his mother was smart on her feet too.

''… Is that all you got, Yugi?'' The star-headed boy gazes at Kojan's words as he spits out blood from his mouth. ''Try that again because it won't work again.''

Yugi glares, aware that Kojan will sense him coming even if he uses-

''MY TURN! DRAGONAUN SHUNKAN!'' Kojan suddenly yells out. His body is immediately covered in electricity before vanishing and now Yugi finds Kojan grabbing onto his sword arm by his wrist. This shocks the star-headed young boy since he didn't know he can access that form without Burst Limit. Kojan can but not in small bursts. He then flings him upward with such force and prepares to swing, firing a Dragonaun Raigeki. Yugi panics as he quickly summons his dragon tail and wraps around Kojan's sword arm to his surprise and nearly throws him until Kojan uses his Mangekyou and repels not just the tail but Yugi too, sending him flying off the building.

Yugi grunts as he is blasted off the building. He's about to use Burst Limit but decides to try something. Instead, he extends his left hand downward in the air and shouts as a rush of Yin-Yang Dragon's energy erupts across his palm. ''SUMMONING TECHNIQUE!'' An explosion of white smoke surrounds Yugi as emerging out of it is him riding on the lightning dragon, soaring up in the air.

Yugi sighs as he thanks the dragon. ''Thank you, Fulgurix-kun.''

"S-sure.'' The shy lightning dragon replies, wondering where- He looks down and immediately freaks out to see Kojan, panicking nervously. ''T-t-t-that's…!'' He fails to even speak up straight and calmly, trembling which Yugi feels. He looks down at Kojan and realizes it. He remembers the first time he summoned Fulgurix that he was summoned by another. So this is the other.

''So the other person who summoned you was Kojan-kun.'' He asks the dragon who gulps, nodding. He wanted to do a good job with him but Kojan just looked down at him like he is right now.

''So you summoned Fulgurix huh?'' Kojan utters out with a humorous small smirk. ''You two are very alike: shy, pathetic and naïve.''

Yugi glares at that comment, about to protest but the Uchiha then declares, biting onto his left hand's thumb. ''Let me show you a real summon.'' He slams that hand onto the ground. ''SUMMONING TECHNIQUE!''

Smoke erupts in front of him. Yugi watches cautiously as emerging out of the smoke is the light blue, purple highlight feminine dragon with wide, crystal scaled wings and tail with a sharp crystal tip. She wears a long scarf and piercing orange glowing dragon eyes with curly, crystalized horns.

Fulgurix soon panics with red cheeks, uttering nervously. ''G-G-Glacurix…''

''Another dragon? Never summoned her before.'' Yugi says, surprised there was another dragon. The lightning dragon just gulps as he tells him, still nervous. ''S-s-she's way too cold!''

''Hmph, don't be so rude, Fulgurix.'' Sighing which releases a cold breath, Glacurix politely lectures her fellow dragon with such calmness. The lightning dragon sweat drops as he apologizes, shyly. ''S-sorry! S-she's an ice dragon I meant...''

Glacurix sighs at his stuttering before turning to gaze at the young Uchiha and speaks up. ''So you summoned me again? I rather not fight my fellow-''

''Mind your thoughts, Glacurix.'' Kojan orders her with a firm gaze from his Mangekyou eyes. Glacurix looks at him calmly before scoffing out ice breath as she responds. ''Of course.''

Kojan scoffs back as he rides on top of the dragon before she takes flight to the same flight level as Yugi and Fulgurix.

''How about we joust, Yugi?'' Kojan taunts him, pointing his Dragon Rakurai at him. Yugi gazes firmly as he grips and swings his Dragon Slayer to the side as he declares to his ridden dragon. ''Let's do it, Fulgurix-kun!''

''…'' Fulgurix doesn't answer, really hesitant as he's felt unreliable to his first summoner and now he has to fight him and Glacurix of all dragons. His body trembles as he's not sure how to feel.

''Y-Y-Yugi, I'm…'' He tries to tell the tricolor head that he can't do this but Yugi just smiles, patting his head. ''I know.'' He gets his self-doubt, being familiar years ago but Atem taught him about courage and to not run away by trusting one's feelings. ''But I trust you and I can't do this without you. So trust in me, please.''

''…'' Fulgurix pauses silently before he inhales for a moment and he puffs smoke from his nostrils. He's right, he does trust him and he can't let him down.

''… L-Let's!'' Adjusting his scarf, Fulgurix roars slightly nervously. He flies right at Glacurix who does the same, ramming their heads and horns against each other. The two dragons lock eye-to-eye before backing away and clash, swinging their claws and tails that deflect and slashing the other, sparks flying out of stardust and electrical spark. The two continue clawing or swinging their tails in rapid succession, almost evenly matched while Yugi and Kojan slam their swords and sparks fly out against their colliding weapons.

"Having a shy dragon like him suits you; both too damn kind and weak.'' Kojan mocks him while Yugi glares calmly.

''Fulgurix-kun and I are both the same…'' Yugi begins to answer with a firm gaze, swinging and pushing Kojan away as he holds tightly on one of Fulgurix's horns. ''Only you should know that!''

Kojan glares, grabbing harder on one of Glacurix's crystal horns. The two dragons then charge with great speed, sparks of ice and lightning zipping across the sky. They strike over and over, blitzing around at rapid speed.

''DRAGON ART: BLIZZARD SHARDS!'' Glacurix roars, spreading her wings and flaps them as she fires a barrage of hundreds of crystalized ice shards.

''DRAGON ART: VOLTIC BOLT!'' Fulgurix roars back, electricity building up across his tail and twirls around, releasing multiple lightning bolts from it that spreads and widens. The bolts counteract against the ice shards, shredding them apart but the bolts were also frozen by merely touching too many of the ice shards and shattering apart. Both attacks canceled each other out.

''We are both friends, Kojan-kun! Why can't you see that!'' Yugi argues with Kojan, riding Fulgurix into a cloud which Kojan pursues on Glacurix. He tries to scan across every corner of the cloud he's hiding in, not going to fall for anything he tries… until a Dragonaun Tensho wave is fired through the cloud. Kojan quickly uses Yahata no Kami to dissolve and rip apart the attack but not the lightning bolt that was fired at the same time that zig-zagged towards his side… until it was blocked by an ice barrier from Glacurix. Kojan scoffs until he panics as he turns to the other side and sees Yugi charging in, still riding on Fulgurix. He drives his Dragon Slayer, surrounded by the Dragonaun Lancer, as Kojan is forced to block with his Susanoo's skeleton arms.

''You said you wish to save the world, make it a place that everyone has a happy ending.'' Kojan begins to proclaim, acknowledging Yugi's desires and his own sadness. ''You understand the pain of loss too…'' He then immediately glares coldly as he manifests two extra skeleton Susanoo arms and bashes their fists against Yugi and Fulgurix.

''AND YET YOU STILL WISH TO SHOW KINDNESS?!'' He yells out in disgust at Yugi's one trait that makes him a fool while his Susanoo arms fades away. ''Having compassion is a weakness. He taught me that, Dragonic-''

''Dragonic?!'' Yugi utters in surprise, recalling that name from Shadow Knight and his father. ''The same who trains Dragon Knights?! Why?''

Kojan doesn't answer him on that but instead resumes saying. ''That's why I must be the Dragon Knight, not driven by compassion or kindness! Because that kind of way of thinking is a sin! And it leads to nothing but despair!''

Yugi narrows his burrows, reminded of Sir Dragonaun and what he once said about him, about his view of a Dragon Knight and how he praised Kojan in being a real one. He scowls, gripping his sword tighter as he can't let that discourage him again.

''Charge, Fulgurix-kun!'' Yugi commands as the lightning dragon roars. He charges as does Glacurix, once more both trying to blitz the other, twirling and ramming the other. Glacurix pulls up and flies up, spinning around before stopping and looks down at Fulgurix, charging up her body in intense frost. The lightning dragon groans before charging right up at her.

''DRAGON ART: FROZEN BREATH!'' Opening her fangs, Glacurix roars and breathes out a powerful burst of blizzard-like dragon breath attack.

''DRAGON ART: VOLTIC CRASH!'' Fulgurix roars, twirling his body around with Yugi holding tight and surrounds them in a supercharged spiraling barrier of electricity. He rams against the intense ice blast, penetrating through it but struggling. He pushes himself, feeling intense frostbite, tanking it all for Yugi. He roars explosively, flying faster as he tears through the ice blast and connects upon Glacurix. Soon an explosion of ice and lightning expands and spreads across the dark sky.

Everyone brace themselves as they see both Glacurix and Fulgurix dropping downward from the highest point before poofing away while Yugi and Kojan descend but still clashing sword strikes. Jonouchi sometimes thinks that Yugi has more guts than ever doing this crazy stuff.

The two Dragon Knight dashes downward across the sky before landing onto the rooftop and clashing blades again, sparks flying out. Yugi grunts as Kojan remains calm as he manifests a Susanoo arm and nearly punches him but Yugi evades it with Dragon Speed Burst, dashing around Kojan and shouts, wrapping his Dragon Slayer in energy again. ''DRAGONAUN LANCER!''

He attempts to thrust his enhanced energy lance blade at the Uchiha's back but Kojan lifts his Dragon Rakurai in front of him in a flat sided pose, letting him see Yugi behind him and his Mangekyou eyes reflecting too. Kojan uses this reflection to use Yahata no Kami, wrapping and grinding against Yugi's energy lance before exploding before he can thrust it at the Uchiha.

''WWAAA!'' Yugi screams, blasted backwards but still standing as pieces of the Dragon Slayer break apart. Kojan smirks, thinking he damaged it. He turns to immediately see that the lance is still in his possession, just losing the armor and spear layer.

Breathing, Yugi tries to remain calm but Kojan gives him no time, dashing at him as he shouts, both his swords coated in electricity from his Raigeki. ''DRAGONAUN TWIN RAIGEKI!''

Not bothering to even clash against that, Yugi escapes with Instant Transmission and goes to try entering Burst Limit but Kojan cracks a small smile, sheathing his katana.

''I wanted you to use that.'' Kojan proclaims, narrowing his eyes and vanishes with lightning speed, suddenly grabbing Yugi by his left arm just as he reappeared. The tricolor head panics, attempting to swing with the Dragon Slayer but Kojan uses Yahata no Kami once more, this time suddenly flung the lance off Yugi's grip and sent flying into the wall of the closest building next to where they were fighting.

Yugi widens his eyes, not expecting he can do that. He was too cocky, immediately regretting not using Burst Limit sooner when he had the chance… or most likely Kojan was waiting for him to do that too for that trick.

Having a strong grip on him, Kojan smirks calmly as his Dragon Rakurai conducts electricity.

''Now this fight is mine!'' He declares, raising his blade as he prepares to cut him down and-

''Stop it…'' Not bearing to see this anymore, Jenny scowls her lips before she can't control herself and yells out at him. ''STOP IT KOJAN! HE'S YOUR FRIEND, DON'T CUT HIM DOWN!''

Kojan startles, freezing up by Jenny's cries, letting Yugi slam a Dragonaun Knuckle which Kojan vanishes, evading him while distancing himself.

Yugi pants heavily, thinking that was it as Yin Dragon agrees, mentally. ''Your sister saved you big time.'' He nods, going to have to thank her for that.

''Yugi-san, you need to get your sword fast.'' Yang Dragon then advises him, knowing full well he cannot win without it.

Not going to argue with him, Yugi tries running with Dragon Speed Burst only for Kojan to immediately notice it and extend out wires.

"WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE GOING!'' He yells, shooting the wire and it wraps around Yugi instantly. He startles as his dragon eyes glow and the wire snaps by flames burning them off him from his energy. He turns to gaze at Kojan, questioning him. ''You don't plan to let me use Burst Limit?''

''…'' Kojan doesn't answer but his eyes say enough; he wasn't going to let him.

Yugi gazes annoyed by his silence as he declares strongly. ''Then that won't work!'' He uses Yin-Yang Dash to rush towards the end of the rooftop until a large black energy skeleton arm swings down and blocks his path. He stops himself, turning to see that arm manifesting from Kojan with a strange ribcage-like barrier surrounding him too.

''Like hell.'' Kojan finally answers as his Susanoo skeleton arms come swinging a barrage of punches at Yugi who evades them with Dragon Speed Burst, jumping or leaping away from each in-coming fists.

Jenny watches horrified that Yugi is fighting like how she taught him in case he didn't want to use his Dragon Sword.

Kojan summons two Susanoo arms to attack Yugi as he dodges two more punches and comes swinging. Yugi responds by using Instant Transmission again, vanishing and reappearing this time above Kojan, already cupping a powered-up Dragonaun Rasengan. Kojan lifts his head but Yugi smirks, once more vanishing to Kojan's dismay.

''ULTRA DRAGONAUN RASENGAN!'' Yugi's voice roars, appearing behind him and thrusts the enhanced energy sphere right at him but before the attack can connect, Kojan's Mangekyou eyes glow and a burst of light black energy erupts with vermilion colors all over him, manifesting as a large, terrifying skeleton avatar manifests around Kojan like a barrier before its wrap up in skin and robes that makes it more humanoid with piercing yellow colored eyes. The avatar is burning vermilion red with some black across it like cracks.

''WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!'' Jonouchi and Honda both shout in horror while Anzu sweat drops by this large energy form.

''The Susanoo!'' Ichigo shouts out in dismay, recalling it in her fight against him and how hopeless her attacks did to it. ''This is bad. It is the most annoying defensive and offensive form Nya.''

Yugi backs away, grunting as this is the same power Itachi used before though different.

"So that's the power Itachi-kun was using. Awesome.'' He admits, finding it really amazing.

''It is much more than that.'' Yugi eyes Kojan who begins to tell him calmly. ''A Mangekyou Sharingan user is always at risk for losing their sight but a Dragon Knight…'' As his Mangekyou eyes glow and his Susanoo begins to once more transform while Kojan makes a squat-like, charging energy stand pose. ''HAS NO RISKS! HAAAAAA!''

Yugi watches and widens his eyes as the humanoid large avatar now manifests an armor resembling a phoenix with its head also covered in armor resembling one and a large winged back. Ichigo is speechless as she recalls him using that form against Deep Blue but briefly. How is Yugi supposed to fight this thing?

''YASAKA MAGATAMA!'' Kojan shouts as his Susanoo throws Shuriken shaped projectiles, launching them with insane speed. Yugi immediately tries dodging around the projectiles with Yin-Yang Dash. But, he can't waste more energy in this one-sided fight.

''I just need to reach my Dragon Sword and-'' Yugi begins telling him of his goal as he dodges the last incoming fist which corners him to the edge of the rooftop.

Breathing deeply, Kojan forms a hand seal as his armored Susanoo forms hand seals with its arms. He inhales back and shouts as he exhales forward. ''SUSANOO: GREAT FIRE ANNIHILATION!''

He and his Susanoo unleash a combined ocean wave of flames towards Yugi and immediately consumes him.

''YUGI!'' Almost everyone shouts as the flames explode and nearly takes out the whole rooftop and building apart.

Commercial Break:

Everyone panics as the ground trembles, the building going to break apart until it becomes completely stiff. Shadow Knight lets out a calm sigh, using his shadow power to maintain the structure of the building and slowly fix it.

Kojan watches at the spot of the flames that exploded as he knows Yugi would have taken major damage without his-

Suddenly a burst of wind blows away the remaining flames, revealing Yugi with his dragon features but also a trio of strange dragon-like headed pieces floating in front of him. Kojan widens his eyes as he also recognizes those pieces as the parts that came apart from the Dragon Slayer.

''The pieces of the Dragon Slayer!'' Shadow utters out, also realizing what they were. Yugi smiles, relaxing a bit as he announces. ''The Dragoons. They're also part of my Dragon Sword that I can manifest from the pieces of the Dragon Slayer to protect me for that single moment.'' They flew off from the spot that they broke apart and protected Yugi before the fireball consumed him.

Kojan scoffs as his Susanoo manifests twin energy spears and throws them at Yugi who dashes forward, diving right at them and twirling his body around, evading them in the last moments before landing back on the rooftop. His dragon features vanish as Yugi hesitates to do the Summoning Technique but this giant being is too dangerous for any of his dragons to handle alone. He-

''YOU JUST DON'T STAY DOWN!'' Kojan yells furiously as his Susanoo manifests two more spears and throws them before they become thousands of energy needles due to Kojan's Mangekyou. Yugi grunts, not going to argue with himself as he proclaims. ''… Dracokin, everyone…'' He immediately slams his right hand, erupting with red energy. ''Lend me your help! SUMMONING TECHNIQUE!''

A burst of smoke erupts and emerging from the smoke is a burst of flames, wind and water blasts that counter the needles followed by an earth wall. The needles hit the wall before it shatters and reveals Yugi alongside his summoned dragon comrades, all posing in their own cool, sexy or badass way… or Terrarux waving excitedly to the group watching.

''You don't have to tell us twice Yugi.'' Dracokid proclaims with a smug smirk.

''Fulgurix darling risks himself to fight for you.'' Nympharux says, flapping the tip of her fin tail like a fan.

''And we'll gladly do the same.'' Coelumrix then declares, adjusting his goggles over his eyes.

''Us dragon's stick together!'' Terrarux shouts out energetically.

Yugi smiles as he nods, announcing as he takes on a fighting pose. ''Let's!''

The four dragons soon charge forward followed by Yugi. Kojan growls as his Susanoo reshapes his spears into crossbows, firing rapid fire energy shots at them.

''DRAGON ART: HURRICANE SPIRAL!'' Smirking as he spins around rapidly, Coelumrix shouts out as he creates a powerful hurricane twister that blocks and absorbs the energy arrow shots before sending them flying right at the Susanoo. It counters with blades but the arrows are enhanced with the hurricane wind and tear through both the energy swords and its arms as well as most of its armor.

''DRAGON ART: TSUNAMI WAVE~!'' Winking before water wraps around her, Nympharux chants as more and more water surges and spirals around her before they're launched forward and becoming a powerful water wave. Kojan guards with his Susanoo as the water crashes onto him, tearing through more of the avatar even when it tries regenerating its lost arm limbs.

''DRAGON ART: GAIA WRECKER!'' Terrarux yells out excitedly, appearing right over the Susanoo and dives down with her claw thrusted forward, coated in earth and connects. It releases a powerful impact that explodes and breaks apart the Susanoo.

Kojan glares angrily, using Yahata no Kami that splits and vaporizes the water and then tries to manifest more of his Susanoo but Dracokid flies right towards him, gripping tightly to his sheathed blade.

''DRAGON ART: INFERNO STRIKE!'' Dracokin roars as he unsheathes it and releases a tremendous blazing fire slash that burns and melts away the Susanoo. Kojan startles heavily and stuns long enough for Yugi to appear in front of him and delivers one Dragonaun Knuckle across his gut. The Uchiha widens his eyes, gasping as Yugi delivers another with his other hand across his face.

''DRAGONAUN KNUCKLE BARRAGE!'' Yugi shouts, unleashing a barrage of Dragonaun Knuckles over and over across Kojan. The others watch astonished that Yugi is beating down on Kojan over and over before Yugi delivers an uppercut that launches the Uchiha into the air.

Kojan grunts angrily and in pain as he didn't expect how strong these dragons are no less loyal to Yugi.

''DRAGON ART!'' Kojan widens his eyes, quickly re-manifesting his Susanoo as he looks down and sees all four dragons charging up energy across their bodies. Swirls of energy build up across them while they glow like Christmas trees, like stars in the night. They soon unleash their attack as a four-way energy blast, the colors matching the dragon's element. ''UNITY DRAGON BURST!'' The four mouth blasts merge and become a spiraling massive beam right towards Kojan.

Kojan panics as he quickly uses Yahata no Kami, trying to reshape the blast coming at him from the air but the massive blast is too big and large for him to reshape. He panics more, forced to use his Susanoo to guard as the blast consumes both him and his avatar. The Susanoo manifests its twin shields to guard with the best of its power but even that's not enough as the shields are melted and so did his Susanoo… but Kojan escapes in the last second with his speed, landing back to the rooftop. He breathes heavily as that could have-

''Go, Dragon Knight Yugi!'' Dracokid's voice yells out as Kojan begins to sweat as Yugi is right behind him with Instant Transmission, holding his Ultra Dragonaun Rasengan as it glows red with white and black sparks flying out.

''YIN-YANG…'' Yugi begins to proclaim before slamming his attack right at him. ''ULTRA DRAGONAUN RASENGAN!''

Kojan wouldn't be able to turn around as he reforms his Susanoo but the attack penetrates through it, especially since Kojan is drained from the last attack. The armored avatar reverts to skeleton as Yugi's attack is going to penetrate through and finish Kojan.

''Yugi won!'' Jonouchi and Honda both declare, posing in strong manly expressions. Jenny watches calmly, knowing this will hurt but if it'll make Kojan stop this path; then it's worth it.

Kojan, however, cracks a small smirk as he quickly sheathes both his swords and yet grips on their handles as the attack approaches him.

''… Dragon of the Storms…'' He begins to chant as he grips tightly on the hilt of his sword and his short katana too. Yugi becomes alarmed, trying to push harder but the Susanoo is withstanding the attack while Kojan continues chanting. ''Quake throughout the land with your Rage and Vengeance, and grant me the blade that obliterates my foes!'' His eyes glow redder as he yells out loudly. ''BURST LIMIT!''

He unsheathes not just his Dragon Sword but his secondary katana as electricity flies out and releases an electrical explosion just as his Susanoo vanishes. The torrent pillar of electricity flies upward, blocking and canceling Yugi's attack, even blasting him away, before vanishing as Kojan has transformed into his Burst Limit as well as his zig-zagged blades.

Twirling both his katanas again, Kojan announces determinedly. ''Pierce through the Storm, Dragon Ryujin!''

Everyone is left in dread as Haruto speaks up, having an expression of worry. ''Kojan's Burst Limit.''

''This is now really bad.'' Shadow expresses with Masaya nodding. Ichigo recalls that form against Deep Blue and can't feel but feel terrified from the back of her spine.

Yugi pants as his summoned dragons caught him before he was thrown out of the rooftop. He stares worryingly, figuring that Kojan would result into using that form though he hoped he would have gotten his Dragon Sword by now.

Kojan looks back and presses his foot on the floor before pushing him up and hovers up in the sky.

''Call me a cheater for using my Burst Limit to beat you before you can even use yours…'' He begins to tell him, admitting this has no honor but he doesn't care in the slightest as his eyes gaze firmly. ''I will not slip away from my goal, ever!''

Obito watches and cackles a bit. Kojan amuses him so much, it's almost like a play.

Yugi frowns as Kojan raises his left sword up in the air and shouts out. ''INAZUMA!'' An instant lightning bolt shoots down from the sky. Yugi barely has time to react as Dracokid and the other dragons launch him off the rooftop while releasing a powerful electrical radius.

''YUGI!'' Everyone yells out in dismay as Yugi is thrown away as the four dragons try to fly to reach him but Kojan intercepts him. Dracokid and the others come at the Uchiha with their combined teamwork but Kojan evades each one of their attacks with little effort before he kicks Terrarux who tries to perform her signature attack and instead crashes on top of the other dragons.

''SQUALL RELEASE!'' Kojan begins to proclaim as his Susanoo manifests with two extra arms, forming hand seals and then all four arms aim at the four dragons. ''VORTEX SHREDDER!'' Each arm releases smoke-like mini twisters that strike all four dragons. They try to break free until the twisters all explode in a fiery-electrical explosion that shreds across all four of them.

Yugi sees this and widens his eyes, yelling in alarm. ''Everyone!'' He watches as all four dragons descend, badly damaged before each one poofs back to where they came from.

''W-win… Yugi…'' Dracokid utters out before he too poofs away. Yugi frowns as he nods, manifesting his dragon wings and tail as he flies off towards his sword all while creating about 7 Dragon Clones.

Kojan glares irritated at the numerous Dragon Clones, overlapping between each other like before while hiding who is the original and using Yin-Yang Dash. ''That trick won't work again!'' He yells as he comes flying after them, manifesting his robed Susanoo as it manifests twin katana energy blades in each hand.

''SUSANOO: RYUJIN!'' Kojan shouts as his Susanoo's right arm swings with its left Katana, releasing a more powerful, lightning version of the Rakurai version. The avatar swings and fires electrical waves, much faster than the Rakurai version which hits two Yugis, only to reveal them to be clones. Kojan narrows his eyes fast, vanishing out of his Susanoo which fades away as he pierces through 2 more Yugis more at the same and then cuts through them, releasing lightning energy slash that cuts through another, each one poofing away to reveal to be clones.

Kojan turns around fast at the last 2 Yugis, 50-50 chance that one is the real one and the other is a clone. He dashes fast at the two, using Yahata no Kami to reverse the Yin-Yang Dash to slow down the two and then comes swinging. The two Yugis did turn around and swing their tails, performing Dragonaun Whip to wrap around Kojan's arms but he smirks, releasing a destructive Raikiri Shockwave that shocks them violently to the point of stopping their hearts. The two soon fade away- Wait.

Kojan soon panics, turning around fast as his Susanoo manifests to spot the real Yugi grabbing onto his Dragon Slayer which reverts back to the Dragon Sword. He won't let him use Burst Limit or else… he loses. So... he makes a grim choice.

''He got-'' Anzu begins to express happily but Ichigo soon sweats as Kojan's Susanoo is charging up an attack that nearly killed her, screaming out to her Yugi. ''YUGI-KUN, DODGE IT NOW!''

Yugi can only turn as he's trying to pull out the Dragon Sword, seeing Kojan declaring as his Susanoo with a Chakra katana mimics his movement by swinging his Dragon Ryujin from the right. ''SUSANOO: DRAGONAUN RAIGEKI!'' Kojan swings forward as does his Susanoo in sync, both weapons firing an electrical dragon as they unite and become a giant electrical serpent dragon. Yugi tries to use Instant Transmission but Kojan triggers Yahata no Kami to accelerate his attack and instantly consumes and hits Yugi, exploding the entire side of that building.

Everyone watches in dismay as the windows across that building shatter apart, falling down to the city but they shatter into thousands of pieces that resemble snowflakes. Those inside tremble to see a large hole through the building, missing anyone near the electric blast. Of course, everyone ran down to escape the building and Shadow Knight was keeping those from even looking outside.

''Y-Yugi-kun…'' Ichigo utters in horror, thinking that Yugi… no… but after everything…

Kojan stares at the smoke of the pierced destroyed building, scoffing as he didn't want to win like this but it had to be done.

''…'' Obito remains silent before he chuckles that Kojan has won. ''It's over.'' The masked man confirms, expecting more from Takao Mutou's-

''… Is it?'' Obito hums, interrupted as his eye narrowed towards the stranger with the photograph, smirking softly. His brown eyes almost flash a pink glow from them while staring at the puff of dark smoke and sees multiple sparks of light shooting out of it, alarming both Obito and Kojan's attention.

"Swing kindly! Erupt passionately! Roar proudly!" The Dragon Sword's voice chants as flames erupt through the smoke, vaporizing it and emerging out as a being in flames, resembling a dragon-like man in armor. "EXPLODE~ DRAGON KNIGHT OF FRIENDSHIP! BURST~LIMIT!"

The dragon roars as it swings the blade upward and then swings downward with such force that the flames are extinguished from its body and revealed to be Yugi, fully transformed into his Burst Limit form.

''The Power of my Bonds…'' Yugi begins to declare as he raises his blade and roars, spreading his wings and erupts his whole body in a fiery aura before swinging his Dragon Blade forward, cutting through the smoke, cleanly. ''MY DRAGON BLADE!''

Everyone gasps in amazement while Kaiba snarls with a small smirk. Ichigo slowly forms a smile, brightly, while Kojan has an expression of horror.

''T-that's not…'' Kojan begins to utter, could have sworn his attack did it before Yugi had a moment to even declare the chant to activate Burst Limit.

''But you never got the chance to make the chant! HOW?!'' He demands, sounding enraged at the last word. Yugi just smirks, raising his left hand's index finger and wags it before he responds with a question. ''Who said one had to speak the chant out loud?''

Kojan narrows his gaze, greatly confused as Yugi reveals this oversight. ''Burst Limit can also be triggered if one speaks the words from the heart.''

This surprises nearly everyone but Shadow Knight, being the one who reveals this fact to Yugi during their training.

Yugi never needed to get the Dragon Sword and do the chant soon after; just getting it back was all he needed as the chant is made through his conscious.

''The moment I grabbed the Dragon Slayer, I was able to transform.'' Yugi explains with a small smirk. Kojan wasn't aware of that method to enter Burst Limit; not even Dragonic told him that. He straight up doped him, again! Just another of his misdirection.

''… Heh, fine…'' Cackling a bit, Kojan admits that surprise got to him but he becomes serious with a firm gaze. ''Even with Burst Limit, I am an Uchiha with the Mangekyou, the Susanoo and my own Burst Limit! You'll never beat me!'' Clearly, Kojan is sweating as his boast is nothing but that. He's terrified, fully aware how strong this form is.

''… You sure about that?'' Yugi immediately asks him calmly, still smiling. This gets to Kojan as the two stare down at each other before Kojan suddenly blitzes right in front of him, swinging both his blades in different directions at him but then Kojan widens his eyes as Yugi is gone… or rather, Yugi is now right behind him. He barely even saw him move and that shouldn't be possible. He has the Mangekyou Sharingan; he should be able to see through every one of his movements and yet it was like he blinked.

Kojan turns around fast, swinging his left blade right at him until Yugi turns around just as fast and shouts, thrusting his left hand forward. ''DRAGONAUN CLAW!'' That hand is consumed in purple fiery energy, resembling a dragon's claw as it clashes against Kojan's blade and the impact sends Kojan backwards, nearly tearing him apart. Kojan is shocked by the force of that attack, gritting his teeth.

''DRAGONAUN RAIGEKI!'' Aiming with his right blade, Kojan fires another electrical dragon from it. Yugi floats there as he extends his blade towards the lightning dragon, roaring, before connecting and consuming him… only for the lightning to be absorbed immediately into the Dragon Blade. Kojan widens his eyes again as Yugi swings his blade to the side as Kojan's attack is completely absorbed.

''H-He absorbed my-'' Kojan begins to utter in dismay, not believing that just- He grits his teeth. No, he refuses to admit this is a loss. He can still win. This is nothing!

''DRAGONAUN SHUNKAN!'' Kojan, instead, shouts out as his body is consumed and coated in electricity similar to Mew Ichigo's Thunder Armor Mode except the electricity is almost suppressed, wrapped around him in an outline resembling a dragon. He dashes at Yugi who also vanishes. The sky begins to shake as sparks fly out across the dark clouds like fireworks.

Everyone is left stunned while Shadow and even Kaiba remain calm. Ichigo squints her eyes, now struggling to keep up with the speed Yugi is going at but even Kojan can't keep up with him. The Uchiha is moving at his top speed, moving swifter and more agile and yet Yugi is far faster with none of his swings touching or scratching him. In fact, Yugi is actually smiling, able to keep up with him easily.

''He can keep up with this speed now?!'' Kojan questions in horror, recalling how he was able to completely out-speed him before in the destroyed Uchiha Hideout but now; it's the complete opposite.

Kojan tries to move faster only to get smacked once by Yugi's dragon tail that sends him nearly hitting a building but he stops himself. He pants angrily as he's uppercut across the chin by Yugi, sending him flying into the sky. Kojan stops himself again, grunting as Yugi raises and points his Dragon Blade at him.

''DRAGONAUN BURST!'' He utters out, firing a particle beam of purple flames like a laser. Kojan quickly uses Yahata no Kami to dissolve the attack but then another one is fired from his left and then right and his back. Yugi had moved so fast to fire multiple Dragonaun Burst in all directions. Panicking, Kojan immediately shouts as he crosses his blades together. ''HIRAISHIN!''

His Katanas begin glowing electricity and then his body as it immediately releases a burst of electricity like a sphere. The sphere expands and wraps itself like a forcefield, blocking head on all the multiple Dragonaun Burst blasts. The barrier trembles and shatters apart. Kojan backs away, needing to regroup but he's still visibly shocked.

''He's attacking around Yahata no Kami weak point?'' Kojan questions in shock, finding that greatly concerning. No, he can still-

''DRAGONAUN GEYSER!'' Kojan barely evades Yugi, now in front of him, swinging his engulfed energy punch as he attempts to slash his arm but Yugi blocks it with his Dragon Blade in a reverse grip. Yugi then lifts his blade over his head as swirls of purple fiery energy build up across it and expands, becoming a long energy greatsword.

''DRAGONAUN SABER!'' Yugi roars, swinging his blade towards Kojan who quickly manifests his half-body, armored Susanoo form who blocks with its sword and lances but they're cut through by Yugi's single swing. The avatar dissolves away while Kojan gasps a bit, thinking he was nearly slashed apart by that attack.

Yugi recomposes himself, floating while his wings flap. Kojan breathes as he comes at him, swinging his blades swiftly but Yugi evades around them in such a way that even with his Mangekyou letting him predict his next movement; he was too slow to even match him.

Kojan pulls back as none of his swings are even connecting, getting under his skin.

''T-this is nothing!'' He declares, focusing as his Susanoo armored form reforms and begins to change. ''Witness the strength of my eyes!'' As Kojan's eyes glow redder.

Yugi watches calmly as the Susanoo wields its katanas in a cross shape together while they begin to merge and reshape thanks to Kojan's Mangekyou powers. Now the blades have become a mighty archer bow, large and wide with each end resembling wings

''SUSANOO: YAHATA NO KAMI ARCHER!'' Kojan shouts out as his Susanoo shrieks with its wings flapping and then takes aim with its bow at Yugi. It reels its other arm, manifesting an energy arrow onto the bow, taking aim as electricity flies out of it. Yugi floats there, gazing calmly.

''RAIKIRI SHOT!'' Kojan then shouts as his Susanoo fires the arrow at full speed. Yugi, however, sees the arrow just fine as he utters out, moving his right wing forward. ''DRAGONAUN REFLECTION!'' Flames erupt from his wing and spread, becoming an energy barrier similar to the Dragonaun Barrier but unlike it; when the electrical Susanoo arrow shot hits, the barrier glows and reflects the attack right back at Kojan.

Kojan panics as his Susanoo fires another shot and nearly counters his own attack, canceling and exploding both. Yugi's barrier fades away as Kojan immediately shouts as his Susanoo takes aim with its bow once more. ''RAIKIRI SHOT BARRAGE!'' It begins firing barrages of electrical arrow shots in succession.

Yugi, this time, moves and evades around the arrow shots so quickly while remaining in the same spot, not one of Kojan's attacks even touch him. Kojan soon stops, his eyes shaken by the mere movement that his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes couldn't keep up with.

''H-he's dodged all of my attacks so casually…'' He utters, not believing that. Yugi proceeds to float forward slowly yet intimidating with the front of his hair covering his eyes. This gets to Kojan, losing his patience. He's mocking him as if he can- NO!

''SUSANOO: TSUKUMO!'' Clapping his hands, Kojan shouts as the Susanoo rips open its humanoid body to reveal its energy ribcages, exposing its chest as it then launches a barrage of vermilion red colored chakra needles. Yugi just continues walking, not thinking as he begins evading the needles on his own; every single one of them.

Kojan can't even believe this as he goes armored Susanoo form and uses Yahata no Kami to reshape his Susanoo's archer bow into a sharp bladed javelin.

''EAT THIS! SUSANOO: YAHATA NO KAMI JAVELIN!'' Kojan shouts as his Susanoo twirls its javelin and then takes aim at the approaching Yugi and throws it. "RAIKIRI JAVELIN!'' The Chakra energy javelin is thrown just before being consumed in electricity like a lightning bolt.

Yugi still approaches slowly as he lifts and extends his Dragon Blade as the javelin is about to stab through him… but it wouldn't happen as Yugi then shouts, thrusting his blade right at the thrown javelin's tip. ''DRAGONAUN DRILL LANCER!'' Swirls of flames wrapped and spiral around the Dragon Blade, coated in an energy lance that begins to spin rapidly like a drill. He thrusts and clashes against the electrical javelin. Kojan watches as this attack will self-destruct and explode upon him… except it doesn't as Yugi's drill attack disrupts the energy of Kojan's attack and thrusts through it.

Kojan is utterly speechless and it isn't finished as Yugi dashes and slams his coated energy lance against the Susanoo which the avatar summons large shields to protect itself. The lance stabs against the shields, grinding upon its surface and sparks flying out. Yugi glares firmly as he roars, pushing the blade forward and the lance stabs through the shields and stabs through the giant avatar. The Susanoo is immediately completely and utterly destroyed to Kojan's dismay.

Gritting his teeth, Kojan tries to perform Dragonaun Raikiri at Yugi which he blocks with his Dragonaun Drill Lancer but the Uchiha acts fast and stabs his arm on the energy lance's side, cracking through it but his attack is blocked by the Dragon Blade. Refusing to let this end, Kojan grabs onto the blade and takes flight, pushing Yugi into the air. However, Yugi smirks as vanishes with Instant Transmission, teleporting all over the place. Kojan panics, looking around fast to see-

''DRAGONAUN IMPACT!'' Kojan turns fast as he sees Yugi coming down at him with a diving kick. He's forced to use Yahata no Kami to move the kick to the right, missing him but the force of the very kick does push him downward. The Uchiha manages to control himself in the air, panting as Yugi grinds his feet on the floor of a rooftop and stops himself, calmly turning around to gaze at him.

Kojan lands on the opposite rooftop, panting as he could feel the strength of that kick for that brief moment and it was horrifying. It enrages him, especially the confident impression across Yugi's face like he's already won. No, he refuses!

''THIS FIGHT IS OVER!'' Kojan declares, raising and spreading both Dragon Ryujin to both sides as surges of electricity fly out. He knows better than to fire his attack, confirming Yugi can absorb dragon-like attacks. ''INAZUMA!''

A lightning bolt shoots from the sky down to Yugi who slashes the ray with his Dragon Blade, slashing through it.

''QUAKE THE STORM~!'' Yugi doesn't turn as Kojan is right behind him, his Dragon Ryujin blades announcing their attack. Yugi doesn't move as his Dragon Blade also announces. ''ROAR, HEAVENLY DRAGON~!''

Kojan vanishes as does Yugi, both trying to strike the other before the other but Kojan is the first to swing his blade with Yugi, both in the air, not able to react.

''DRAGONAUN RAIJIN!'' Swinging both his blades, Kojan shouts as they erupt and release a burst of electricity so massive that they become a bright vermilion electrical serpent dragon with quadruple wings. The dragon roars as it opens its fangs, going to devour Yugi… until he smirks and uses his own tail to spin him around with its sheer force, swinging his blade at the incoming lightning dragon.

''DRAGONAUN TENGOKU!'' Roaring, Yugi fires and unleashes the mighty purple energy, serpent shaped dragon with white feather wings. Its red eyes glow as it roars, ramming itself against Kojan's Dragonaun Raijin. Much like before, both energy dragons collide except unlike last time that Kojan's won… Yugi's dragon penetrates and tears through Kojan's. The Uchiha widens his eyes in horror, using Yahata no Kami to dissolve the attack but the Dragonaun Tengoku fights through it; pushing its power against it and slams itself upon him. Kojan quickly manifests Susanoo arms and the ribcage before the dragon sinks its fangs and consumes Kojan, releasing a devastating explosion.

Everyone watches, taken back as that sky trembles violently. The buildings nearby and even far away shook, some shattering windows if not cracking them.

Yugi hovers in the air, breathing calmly while staring at his Dragon Blade. He's used 5 of the Dragonaun Tengoku but due to the Eternal version; it stacks up 2 uses. So he has 1 left since his limit is now 7.

''Just 1 Dragonaun Tengoku left.'' Yugi reminds himself, looking back up to see through the smoke of his attack that Kojan survived though he looks badly damaged with most of his outfit torn if not badly burned. His left Dragon Ryujin blade was destroyed which reverts back to a broken katana and that left arm is also bleeding out from the attack, injured.

''It doesn't matter, partner. You won.'' Atem confirms that Kojan can't fight anymore.

Obito watches this and can't help but scoff of disbelief. To think Takao's son is that strong now, easily putting Kojan in his place.

''Well… this was unexpected.'' He openly admits, miscalculating his earlier assumption. But now he chuckles, gazing at the injured young Uchiha. ''Kojan, you're still weak.''

The stranger with the camera just watches closely, not surprised by the outcome.

''H-how did he get so much stronger?'' Masaya finally speaks up, shocked by Yugi's growth. Erika agrees as Yugi wasn't able to beat the 'Dragon Killer' Arrancars and yet he's bested all of them, match Aizen and now surpass Kojan. How did he manage all of this?

Yugi turns around, overhearing Masaya's voice and smiles. He flies down and lands in front of the others, telling them. ''Well, I had 4 months of training in another dimension… but I asked Shadow Knight to give me half a year instead.''

"HUH?!" Nearly everyone but a silent yet surprised Shadow and Kaiba yell out. Shadow Knight sighs by his boasting. He spent 2 more extra months to get the best grip on his powers and it paid off. No denying and Yugi wanted to be sure that he was ready for the fights up ahead.

''Squeezed as much of my power but the results were as I intended.'' Shadow Knight confirms, trying to not show it but he's heavily drained due to all the training he had Yugi go through. Just Prana alone wasn't enough to maintain that pocket dimension.

''… So Yugi won?'' Jonouchi asks, really curious about it.

Yugi turns around, gazing firmly as Kojan lands opposite him. He breathes loudly, wielding his right Dragon Ryujin blade but his grip is trembling. His vision is partly blurry but shakes it off with a jolt of electricity, refusing to lose. Yugi flies back up, holding his Dragon Blade forward. Kojan breathes weakly, trying to do the same but grunts. His body is in pain, never experiencing such pain before.

''Stop, Kojan-kun!'' Jenny shouts out to him, pleading with him to not continue. ''Yugi has shown you he's ready to be a Dragon Knight. You two can make the world a better place if you-''

''SHUT UP!'' Yelling irritated, Kojan has an expression of fury and hate. He looks at Yugi and just sees someone else who isn't the shy friend he cared for, the kind kid whose smile was pure.

''I…'' Trying to even speak, Kojan recalls the difficult, harsh training he went through under that dragon; how he would torture him to push his limits. Every day, every moment; it was hell but it never compared to the day he lost everything, to see Keiko's death. He was told many times that hell would remain, that fate will only become crueler for a Dragon Knight but he would prevail without having any weakness… and why it frightens Kojan that Yugi would go into that same hell too. He can't… he doesn't want that for him as he lets it out screaming. ''I NEVER ASKED YOU TO GO THROUGH THIS SAME HELL I AM IN!''

Yugi becomes alarmed as Kojan drops his arm, too much in pain as tears drip from his eyes.

''You are a damn, stupid naïve brat who can't tell I don't want you to die!'' Kojan begins complaining at Yugi's selfless, naive nature that put him into this situation. ''I… I just. I don't want to lose another person.'' He grits his teeth as he squeezes tighter on the grip of his Dragon Ryujin so much that the same hand begins bleeding. ''And this disgust me that even when I want to sever these connections, I-I just…''

''Kojan-kun, it's alright.'' Yugi suddenly speaks up, smiling as he understands Kojan's motives; always believing he was putting him down for a reason and can't help but be happy. ''That's why we're friends. It's what make us human.''

Kojan stands there, slightly tilted forward and weakened. Even now, he… he hasn't changed. He hasn't lost his good nature, his sense of humanity.

''… You're right… You're still human by heart and yet, I…'' Kojan begins to express, trying to move his bleeding left arm and grabs onto his chest. He begins to recall a happy memory he was with his brother and he was so happy. Shisui was also happy too… until that memory is dead since he lost his brother. And so Keiko became his new memory… and she too died. He has nothing… only…

''Haruto, something is wrong!'' Haruto's eyes widened as he heard a familiar voice echoing in his mind, warning him; Koyomi. He quickly pulls out the Scan Wizard Ring and slides it on before sliding that hand over his Wizardriver.

''SCAN, PLEASE.'' It announces as a magical circle manifests before him like a screen. He raises that hand towards Kojan as the screen is showing him something within him and it dreads him.

''I tried to have some sense, some spark of hope that maybe… maybe… I can still be myself without needing more power. But I need it, I need it more than anything…'' Kojan begins explaining to Yugi, wanting to believe he could change things without needing to change completely but he was wrong. ''To kill the man who ruined my life. To avenge Shisui, Itachi and Keiko…''

Obito scoffs at that comment, finding how cute he still remembers that girl… ironic to remember the past he thought.

''But I was wrong. My very weakness, the thing holding me back from needing the power I never carved for…'' Kojan begins to admit his mistake, something Dragonic once told him to let go of the past and the ideal of companionship and kind emotions but he will go a step further; to let go of the thing that connects him back to Keiko, to his brother… and to Yugi. ''Are these connections, my own humanity!''

The magical screen soon turns purple and shatters, confirming Haruto's horror. He has to stop this now as he… he…

It's when Haruto realizes he can't move as his arm lowers down by force. Shadow notices this and startles as he finds himself not able to move. The others also feel the sensation that their bodies aren't responding.

''I-I can't-'' The black hedgehog utters out in frustration, not understanding this. Haruto narrows his gaze at Shadow Knight, using his power to keep those going to interrupt from moving an inch.

''I made it clear: No one interferes.'' He proclaims firmly on his decision, causing Haruto to protest. ''But he's-''

''I know.'' Shadow Knight affirms him, aware of what Kojan is doing.

Yugi begins to feel unease as Kojan's aura is turning muddy, like blackened.

Kojan bites his lips, squeezing his bleeding arm across his chest as he's experiencing some kind of pain with his words. ''That's why…'' The memory of Keiko smiling begins fading away and replaced with that masked man taunting and killing her before his very eyes that night. ''I can't live with myself if I can't kill that bastard and make sure no one else suffers my fate!'' He looks up at Yugi as the tricolor head startles heavily to see purple glowing cracks forming across Kojan's skin. ''Even if I become a monster.''

''Purple cracks…'' Ichigo begins to mutter before she gasps, realizing what those were as she experienced the same thing before. She turns to Haruto and alarms him in dread. ''HARUTO, THAT'S-''

''STOP IT, KOJAN! Don't succumb to-'' Haruto begins yelling at Kojan right away but his words would not reach him as the cracks release violent energy throughout his body. Everyone stares in shock and awe, even Obito who has no clue what is happening. Jenny trembles with concern and worry.

Yugi watches, bracing himself with his sword arm and right wing guarding him. He can feel the intense evil- no, the tremendous dread trying to surge out of Kojan's body.

''What is this sensation? This is…'' Yugi begins to tell himself, recognizing this as the stranger with the camera takes a photo of the moment and proclaims it. ''Despair.''

Kojan tries to hold himself together as he gasps in agony, his body twitching as he drops his Dragon Ryujin. Yugi watches, horrified, as he attempts to dash at him but it is too late.

''Sorry… Keiko… Shisui…'' Shredding a final tear to the last of his memories; Kojan immediately lets out the most painful scream in his life while the cracks erupt and dark purple light covers across his whole body, consuming him. The light intensifies as Kojan's reshapes and transforms while releasing such shockwaves across the whole city.

''W-what is this…'' Obito questions while the man with the camera simply says. ''Like I said, this is despair.''

Yugi watches with such a stunned face, looking ahead towards the dimming light. What stood in the place of Kojan is a humanoid, dark purple monster but it has black skeleton bones sticking outward rather than within the body. It also wore black robes with chains and a hood over his oval horned head with piercing vermilion eyes glowing. His head resembles flesh with the face of a skull along with sharp bladed horns.

''K-Kojan-kun?'' Yugi utters out in dismay, not believing what he's even staring at. He can still feel his aura but it's become something that doesn't even resemble a human or anything pure hearted.

''He's… a Phantom…'' Haruto, with a horrified expression, reveals out loud. How, he thought. Why would Kojan give in to despair? Why?

With Yugi turning the tide, Kojan does the unexpected and becomes a living nightmare. Is this it for Kojan? And for everyone else too?

Next Time…

Kojan succumbed to despair and became a Phantom. Now even more powerful and destructive, the monstrous Uchiha began beating down on Yugi even with his Burst Limit. Still feeling some hope within his friend, Yugi refused to give up on him. How can Yugi best such a force that brings only despair?

Haruto: How is this possible?

Ichigo: Is that a Phantom like you told me once, Haruto-kun?

Haruto gazes worryingly: Y-yes. And this is an utter nightmare. Kojan, he's lost to us.

Shadow: What? Lost?

Shadow Knight: There is no turning back when one becomes a Phantom.

Yugi: … No. I don't believe that! I know… Kojan-kun still exists and I am not giving up on him! Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: Beyond the Depths of Despair! Save your Friend, Yugi!

Like I mentioned before, Kojan's main Mangekyou ability is powerful and similar to Pain's Shinra Tensei. Yahata no Kami can bind, reshape, and repel any attack that Kojan can see and even lets him reshape his attacks in any way that suits him, including his Susanoo. It is a powerful ability with 2 certain weaknesses; this ability doesn't work on any move that Kojan can't see or detect and any move stronger than the user's strength. It might minimize the attack to a certain amount but it won't do much.

Kojan's strategy to stop Yugi from using Burst Limit is not bad; you would think not many would think to stop the other from using their transformation/super form. Then again, Yugi was also prepared for it and did well to handle himself. Still, Kojan is on a different level as a tactical.

On the other end, Yugi's growth and Burst Limit surpassed and broke through all of Kojan's attacks and defenses. Oh and six months of training instead of 4 that Shadow Knight offered. It would make sense with Yugi struggling to adapt with Draconic Energy and gravity before doing actual training.

And due to that, Kojan had no way to win and became a Phantom. How is this possible? Does Yugi have a winning chance against this transformed Phantom Kojan? Find out next week to find out hmm.
