This is a re-imagination of the story of RWBY given as a pitch, a review, and a scene-by-scene style of writing. It's purpose is merely to adapt the series into a more cohesive and simple series for teenage and mature audiences. If you're not a nerd, your cringe discretion is advised. I post primarily on AO3, so this might be not be up to date.

Jaune Arc wants to be more than just a simple villager in a simple village, so he embarks to Lake Lullaby to become a famed Hunter. However, bureaucracy proves to be his enemy, and one encounter with a certain dude change the course of his life into something adventurous. (Warning: AU and may result in OOC-induced migraine)

Jaune Arc, when he was a child, was taken in by the Rusted Knight, becoming his squire and training diligently in the Everafter for many years. Under the Rusted Knight's guidance, Jaune honed his skills and ideals. But upon his master's passing, Jaune vowed to honor his mentor's final wish for him to leave the Everafter, join an Academy, and become a Huntsman.

When the world watched as Mountain Glenn crumbled, its only survivors fled to the metro tunnels beneath the surface. When the world had forgotten about them, they thrived in the cold concrete darkness. When the world finally reached out to them, it was too late to save them.

While fighting the revived horror alongside Frontline Biomedical's controversial Organic Androids, they begin to unravel a web of secrets ensnaring more than they could have ever known.

One-Shot Beacon was in ruins, an unwinnable war started. Despite all the chaos, the fights, and the comrades they lost, two students found a reason to continue. Coco can't handle Ozpin's bullshit anymore.

Ozpin pays a bit more attention, and 2 lives are changed forever. Jaune Arc and Blake Belladonna, Beacon's pair of frauds, have nothing but each other and their weapons when they are kicked from the academy before school even begins. Now penniless and hopeless, their only option is to unite and form a team of freelance hunters. Together, they will do missions and shit.

A girl who dreamed of being a hero, and was forced to face the realities of being one. A girl who was born into everything but found she had nothing. A girl who fought for freedom, and is now tormented by her past. And a girl who fights through life, trying to find her place in the world. ON HIATUS.

Jaune was going to die. Across from him stood a very very happy looking Neopolitan, and that could only mean one thing. It was Friday.

Though how they answered that message is another story altogether, and the answers they have may not be the ones that are best for Remnant or humanity... Taking place immediately after Animosity and following the chaotic chain of events towards Volume 9's epilogue, beyond, and even across worlds.
