Ch. 14: The Trip, Part 1

Marinette doesn't know what to think about all she learned from Ozpin when all the teams are called in for an assembly where Ozpin explains that the first-year teams will go on their first huntsman mission.
Team MAAC with Ozpin's help, signs up for the southeast region assignment but he says "But be warned, this is a serious mission. I advise you all to take it serious or lest you'll be dragged back to Beacon, am I clear?"
"Yes, sir!" Said all of team MAAC but Alya then notices team CFVY returning from their mission a week late and says to them "Are you okay?" "Yah, we're fine. Just was delayed due to there being so many of them."
Velvet said, getting all of team MAAC to worry about their upcoming mission. Marinette tries to cheer up the team and herself by saying "Come on, guys. Things might be Grimm, no pun intended. But you know what they say "When it get's darkest, is when the light shines.", so who's with me?"
"I am!" Adrien said, getting Marinette guilt stricken but her optimism didn't waver and that's when Alya said "I'm too!" "Me, three. I guess." Chloe said with a faint smile, only for Oobleck to jump into the conversation by saying
"And so am I (getting team MAAC to jump up in fright), what. You think you're going on a mission without a huntsman at your side?" "Oh, I guess we didn't. Welcome to the club Oobleck." Marinette said, getting Oobleck to say
"Glad to be here, then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" And he sped off to their bullhead, but before they left for it. Team MMRN and team MJIK came up to them and each team told team MAAC about their missions
When Sun came up to them and said "What's up guys? (sees Alya about to leave) Look Alya, about what happened. I should've just left it alone when you said you have a boyfriend but I couldn't help it. You're so pretty and I know I was wrong for doing it, I'm sorry. I'll do better, that's a promise."
"Well other than not being crazy about you only liking me for my looks, I accept your apology, let's hope you can keep your promise." Alya said, only for Sun to say "I will and will keep doing it for the rest of my life."
Team MAAC then left for their bullhead and got on, on the ride to the southeast. Alya questions "What happened to it, the southeast I mean." "Well, Mountain Glenn. That's the official name of the place that is the southeast, was meant as an expansion for the city but was overrun by Grimm and now lays in ruin thanks to the Grimm that now inhabit the city. Anything else?"
Oobleck explains, only for Alya to say "It would be a great hideout as no one would think to look there but it would have to be underground, so as to avoid the Grimm." "Great observation, Ms. Pied. We'll investigate tonight and as for until then. We'll do our mission."
Oobleck said, then the bullhead drops them off at Mountain Glenn and departs, leaving them there. While all of team MAAC are ready for an attack. Oobleck sips his coffee and says "Do exactly what I tell you to do."
Earning a "Yes, Oobleck!" From the team and they (plus Oobleck) walk into the city, only to see a Beowolf and the team goes to attack it but Oobleck stops them by saying "It's just a single Grimm, we can ignore it and if you follow it. It will just lead you to it's pack and then you'll be in trouble."
The team doesn't attack it but it notices them anyways and calls for it's pack which are on them immediately and the team runs away, only for it to attract more Grimm with Oobleck doing nothing to stop it. Instead, he is collecting samples.
That's when Marinette used her semblance and got a cage and Adrien with his super strength, blasted into the air and put it. So, the Grimm were in it. The Grimm not moving for that entire time because Alya made an illusion of a massive huntsman and Chloe made the floor slippery by making it liquid gold
Later that night "What's with that guy, isn't he supposed to help us. Isn't he a huntsman?" Alya questioned, only for Oobleck to say "Actually I am helping, I'm actually doing the whole mission by myself which is to search and analyze the data we collected. Not destroy, all though you guys did keep the Grimm off of me. So, there's that."
"Oh." Alya said, only for Marinette to say to Oobleck "Hey, Oobleck. Can I talk to you alone?" "Sure!" Oobleck said and once the two were alone, Marinette said "A couple of days ago, I found out Adrien is a Golem. While his aura was transferred into a Golem but still."
"And you're wondering?" Oobleck asked, only for Marinette to say "Should I tell him, that is. The fact that he is a Golem." "Well for this situation, I'd say look to past experiences. What do they tell you?"
Oobleck said, only for Marinette to say "Well, two of my friends are robots but they always known that. What does this have to do with Adrien?" "It does because of how they feel about it, how did they feel about it?" Oobleck asked, only for Marinette to say
"They feel great about it, they are loud and proud but what does that (has realization). Oh." "Exactly, now go tell your friend." Oobleck said and Marinette immediately went to Adrien who was at the fire with the rest of the team
And Marinette said "Adrien, do you know what a Golem is?" "It's a creature made of stone that somebody controls, why?" Adrien asked, only for Marinette to say "Because except for the being controlled part, you're a Golem." "What, that's not possible. I have a video of me being born to prove I am human."
Adrien said, only for Marinette to say "While you were born human, you were deathly sick and your mom made you a human like body made out of stone with her semblance and she used Ozpin's machine to transfer your aura to your current body. Ozpin told me the whole story, so if you don't believe me. Ask him or one of your parents."
"This, this. I don't want to be a Golem; do I really have feelings and free will or am I just the puppet by my father's design and under his control, am I even human?" Adrien said
"Adrien, calm down. Yes, you have feelings. Remember you had a crush on me and you're not designed by your father or/and controlled by him, like for example. Would you father allow you to make puns or wear leather or drive a motorbike for pete's sake."
Marinette said, only for Adrien to say "But what about the human thing, you still haven't said anything about that. Admit it, I'm not human." "Markov and Penny are robots but you don't consider them non-human, why are you different Adrikins?" Chloe asked
Only for Adrien to say "I, I. I guess I'm not, huh. I guess I'm still human even without a body made of flesh." "Yah, that's the spirit. Adrien!" Marinette said and then hugged him, only for Alya to say "Yah, you rule." Then to join the hug "Yah, we love you Adrikins and I know the others will love you too." Chloe said and joined the hug herself
Only for the hug to stop when Oobleck joined and said "Yeah, your one of us. (the hug stops) What, was it something I said?"
