Hello everyone! Today is the launch of the second chapter of A Loud Poké-Adventure in Orohn. The poll has ended and the winner is...ALL THREE! Hooray! Hope you're all happy. Mastershadow300 helped me providing the lines and scenes in Royal Woods and Great Lakes City. We don't own both franchises, Loud House was created by Chris Savino and belongs to Nickelodeon, Pokémon was created by Satoshi Tajiri and belongs to Nintendo, Orohn region Fakemon, Nova, Aimee and Professor Rosé belongs to Zerudez. Now with that out of the way, let's begin!
Chapter 2: My First Pokémon Experience
It was morning in the Loud House, but something unusual was happening...it was quiet, too quiet. The Louds were not being themselves, after Lincoln and Charles went missing in another dimension, things haven't been the same for them. Luna was so sad that she couldn't come up with new songs, Luan wasn't in the mood for a joke. Lucy couldn't come up with a new poem and instead focusing on finding Lincoln by talking to the spirits. Lana was sitting with her pets all dejected, Lola wasn't even training for her pageants, Lily was hugging her teddy bear in tears, missing her big brother. Leni was not in the mood to make new clothes. Lori texted her boyfriend Bobby about what happened to her little brother yesterday. Shocked he tells his entire family and they were understandly devastated, specially Ronnie Anne who was one of Lincoln's closest friends.
"Oh no! I hope he's okay..." Said Ronnie very worried.
"It's gonna be okay Nie Nie, they'll find him." Reasured Bobby to his little sister.
"Ay, caramba! I'm gonna make my best enchiladas as consolation for the Louds!" Said Rosa as she immediately went to the kitchen
Ronnie Anne begin to look outside the window, feeling with hope they find her bestie and secret crush.
Back in Royal Woods, the Louds have told Lincoln's friends who all became shocked, Clyde took it harder, being his best friend. He slumped and went back home dejected. In The Loud House. The family were missing Lincoln. They even begin to reflect about how much they neglected him, such as the bad luck fiasco, the sister fight protocol and when they got angry at him for filming embarassing moments of themselves and post in the internet and only forgave him, after he made fool of himself in camera and sent to the internet or the time they stole his Ace Savvy movie and when half of them called him a life ruiner because they couldn't handle criticism. Meanwhile Lisa is still fixing her machine.
Back in the Orohn region, Lincoln was asleep on a sofa. Charles was sleeping by his side. A woman came down the stairs, she has long crimsom hair, wears a violet shirt with a lime green apron, a yellow skirt, has cyan eyes, a mole on her left cheek. That was Nova's and Aimee's mother Ms. Levesque.
"Well, time to wake up our new guest." Said Ms. Levesque as her green round bird Pokémon hopped towards Lincoln.
It stands on Lincoln and pokes his nose with its beak. Lincoln groans as he slowly opens his eyes and saw the bird looking at him too close.
"WAAUGH!" Screamed Lincoln and fell off the sofa.
This woke up Charles and begins to bark at him for being disturbed. Lincoln managed to calm down and looked at the bird.
"Good morning Natu. I take your trainer told me to wake me up." Said Lincoln as the Pokémon named Natu hops in agreement.
"Good you're awake!" Said Ms. Levesque.
"Good morning Ms. Levesque!" Greeted Lincoln who greeted back to him with a nod.
Yesterday when he came to this dimension full of creatures called Pokémon. Got his phone stolen by a Pokémon called Criminook, almost got killed by a bunch of them after recovering his phone amd being unable to call home. Nova offered him to live in his house. When she and her little sister took him to their house, their parents were at first surprised to see Charles, thinking he was a new species of Pokémon from an unknown region, until their oldest daughter explained to them that Charles is a dog, not a Pokémon and that he and Charles are from another dimension where Pokémon doesn't exist. After Lincoln explained his story on how he got here, they allowed him to stay for the time being.
After going to the bathroom to brush his teeth and eat breakfast, talking to the family a bit about himself and describing how his dimension is like, he walked out of the house.
"See ya guys, I'm going to study!" Said Lincoln as he went walking towards the town with the Levesques waving at him, with Charles staying in the house.
Lincoln was walking in town while also looking at the people with their Pokémon. He eventually arrived at school, however unbeknownst to the white haired boy, a floating orange Pokémon was spying on him. The teacher was impressed on how resourceful Lincoln is, he studied how type matchups works, status condition, same type attack bonus, abilities, evolution, weather condition and how to lower and boost stats. Sometime later Lincoln got out of school and saying his goodbyes to his teacher and classmates. Lincoln begins heading to Nova's place unaware he's being followed by the orange Pokémon. When he arrived, he was greeted by Charles, Natu and a small and round pink Pokémon with cat-like ears, beady yellow eyes, short nub arms, has a small tail and a pair of leaves on its cranium.
"Hi Charles, Natu and Hoppip!" Greeted Lincoln to the trio.
"Lincoln, glad that you're back" Came the voice of a man who came out of the house.
He has short spiky crimson hair, wears swirly glasses, a light blue shirt, a lab coat, brown pants, black and green shoes. That's Mr. Levesque, Nova's and Aimee's father.
"Hi Mr. Levesque, I take you're back from your work with the Professor." Said Lincoln.
The Levesques told him that they were originally from the Unova region, so they moved to the Orohn region so Mr. Levesque could help Professor Rosé who's also Mr. Levesque's sister. He helps the Professor on her researches as best as he can. Lincoln told him about what he learned today, after that the two of them went inside the house with the two Pokémon and the dog. Later that night, Lincoln and the Levesques were having, the Pokémon duo were eating with Charles, who seems to like Pokémon food, guess hanging out with Lana has its perks.
"I've been meaning to ask you Lincoln, what do your sisters looks like?" Asked Aimee.
Lincoln pulls out his phone and shows a picture of him and his family together. Then he begins to point at each of his sisters as he named them.
"From oldest to youngest: Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily!" Said Lincoln.
"Wow, you and your sisters all start with L." Said Ms. Levesque amused at the fact.
"Too bad the battery is low and I didn't bring my charger with me and none of your chargers can connect to mine, soon it'll die out..." Lamented Lincoln.
Suddenly they heard a voice that sounded like a laugh which Lincoln, the Levesques, Charles and the Pokémon to look around frantically, trying to see who it was. Then coming from the wall was a small orange Pokémon, it has a tiny grin on its face, a horn on its cranium, lightning for arms, its head is disproportinally large than its body.
"Holy Arceus! A Rotom!" Exclaimed Mr. Levesque.
Rotom began to fly around diagonally at high speed. It was hard for them to keep up with it, the humans, dog and Pokémon had to duck to avoid getting tackled by the small Pokémon. However when it was coming towards Lincoln once again, he instinctively uses his phone as a shield, which surprisely it just went inside it. Then Lincoln's phone begin to glow which everybody had to cover their eyes. When they opened their eyes they saw his phone floating in the air with a new look, it was now orange, has a lightning-like horn sticking out of it and its face was now on the metalic plate of the phone.
"It became a Rotom Phone!" Said Nova, as the Rotom Phone approaches towards Lincoln.
"Greetings human, I'm your new assistant Rotom Phone! I can help you with almost anything. Look what I can do, zzzt!" Said Rotom Phone in a young boy voice as it begins to spark electricity.
Its screen showed the battery icon quickly recharging. Which Lincoln's mouth became gaped.
"That's incredible Rotom Phone!" Said Lincoln in amusement.
"But wait, there's more, zzzt!" Said Rotom phone as it flied towards Natu.
It scanned the bird and its screen begins to show an image of it and begins to describe it.
Natu The Tiny Bird Pokémon. Psychic/Flying Type. Female. Because its wings aren't yet fully grown, it has to hop to get around. It is always staring at something.
Lincoln was beyond impressed. It was originally his phone, but now a Pokémon is inside of it and got upgraded. Rotom Phone then scanned Hoppip.
Hoppip The Cottonweed Pokémon. Grass/Flying Type. Male. Outside of cold regions, Hoppip can be found practically everywhere. This is because the wind carries this species all over the world.
"So it means they're easily blown away by the wind?" Said Lincoln.
Rotom Phone then proceeded to scan Charles, then the screen showed a question mark.
"No Pokémon found!" Said Rotom Phone.
"That's because Charles is not a Pokémon, he's a dog. A species of domestic animal." Lincoln pointed out.
The Rotom Phone approached the white haired boy.
"Looking forward to be working with you human, zzzt." Said Rotom Phone.
"Call me Lincoln." Said the white haired boy.
"Affirmative Lincoln!" Acknowledged the Pokémon possesing the phone.
"Isn't this great Lincoln? With Rotom Phone, it can help you identify any Pokémon that you don't know and learn about them. It can also show you a map of the Orohn region!" Said Nova.
Lincoln uses his Rotom Phone and sees the map of the entire region. Lincoln was glad that he got an ally who's going to help him in this dimension.
A few days have passed and Lincoln learned many things about this dimension, learned about a currency called Poké Dollars and other methods of evolving a Pokémon besides having high level of experience. Then it was finally the day he has being waiting for, he went to Rosé's lab, to talk to her and get his Pokémon partner. When he opened the door he was greeted by the starters who leaped at him. Watuber and Nawdile were rubbing his chest in affection while Barkindle was tickling the pre teen by licking his face. Charles however was even more jealous of all the attention they were giving to his owner.
"Hahahahaha! Ok, ok guys! I'm also happy to see the three of you!" Said Lincoln as the trio finally stepped back allowing him to get up.
Professor Rosé came up and greeted Lincoln. Telling him how the little ones missed him and couldn't wait to see him again and become their partners. She reminded him that he can only pick one, so Lincoln first decided to know more about the starters, so he scanned them with his Rotom Phone.
Nawdile The Tiny Croc Pokémon. Grass Type. Male. Nawdile are very sly and sneaky. On sunny days Nawdile likes to lay in the sun for hours, absorbing the sun's energy. But be careful not to disturb them or they will come biting at you.
Barkindle The Fire Pup Pokémon. Fire Type. Male. Barkindle's body is very warm to hug, meaning kids and other Pokémon love to snuggle up to it. When angry, it will heat up and its tail will burn hot.
Watuber The Float Cub Pokémon. Water Type. Female. Watuber are very playful and often like to amuse themselves in pools and near shores. Because they're not very good swimmers, they often borrow tubes and floaters.
After checking about them he begins to look, trying to pick one, but it was hard for him to decide who to pick, since they both look cool and to make matters harder, they were all staring at him with puppy eyes. Rosé seeing Lincoln's plight and how the trio wants to be with him so badly decided to step in.
"Normally, I just give new trainers one starter, but seeing they all being so attached to you since you first met, I'm gonna have to make an exception." Said Professor Rosé.
"You mean, I can having all three?" Lincoln asked with a gasp, which the Professor nodded, making a smile crossing his face.
Extremely happy, the starters jumped with joy, happy they all can go with him. Rosé then gave him their Poké Balls, which Lincoln try them by successfully returning them inside their Poké Balls.
"Please, Take good care of them, treat them well and they'll help you at anyway they can." Said Rosé.
"Yes, ma'am! I'll be a good trainer to them!" Lincoln reasured happily, which Charles rolled his eyes.
Lincoln then went to the Levesques to show the starters. The girls squealed at the sight of Barkindle and Watuber, while Mr. Levesque nodded in agreement, very proud that the professor allowed him to have the three starters as he also noticed how close they are to him.
"So, what are you gonna do now?" Asked Nova.
"I'm gonna make them strong and catch some Pokémon to add in my team!" Said Lincoln enthusiastically.
"Then you're gonna need these." Said Mr. Levesque as he hands over a bag with some Poké Balls.
"Are these for me?" Asked Lincoln in confusion.
"Yes, we bought them yesterday, we knew this day would come." Said Ms. Levesque.
Lincoln happily accepted. And after giving him their safe travels, Lincoln went to train his starters with Charles following him.
Lincoln walked all the way until he finally got out of town and went to the meadow where he and his dog first arrived. They saw a sign that says Route 1 and then begin to look at their surroundings.
"Ok, Charles. First let's check my Pokémon's abilities." Said Lincoln as he begins to check his Rotom Phone.
"Says here Nawdile's ability is Rough Skin, which allows it to damage the opponent who made physical contact with him. Barkindle's ability is Blaze which boosts his Fire type moves when his health is low. Watuber's ability is Torrent, which has the same effect as Blaze, except it boost Water type moves. Now let's see what moves they know...Nawdile knows Bite and Leer. Barkindle knows Tackle and Growl while Watuber knows Scratch and Tail Whip" Said Lincoln as he checked his Rotom.
Lincoln and Charles walked until they ran into a flock of bird Pokémon. They resemble an american bald eagle chick, has a black ring mark on each of their eyes. Has brown feathers on their body and when a few began to preen their wings, it showed the front of their wings to be white. Lincoln scanned them with his Rotom Phone.
Eriegle The Nest Pokémon. Normal/Flying Type. Male and Female. Born with fairly weak wings, Eriegle love to stay in their nest and be nurtured by their parents until it's strong enough to fly from its roost. They become more hostile as they grow.
"Hmm...it won't be easy. I need to find a way to seperate one from the flock" Thought Lincoln. When suddenly he got an idea.
The Eriegle flock was minding their own business, either pecking the ground or preening their wings. One who was scratching the ground then noticed an Oran Berry. It started to drool and run towards it, but it failed to notice that it is tied to a string and when it went to get a bite, it got pulled. Confused, the Eriegle approached it again and tried to peck it, only to miss it again due to the Oran Berry being pulled. The process repeated until it was out of the flock's sight. It finally eat the Oran Berry.
"Now I got you!" Said Lincoln as he got in front of the eaglet-like Pokémon.
Eriegle quickly turns around with its wings wide open in full alert. Lincoln throws his Poké Ball, summoning Watuber who got into her fighting stance.
"Since it is a Flying type, I can't use Nawdile. Watuber use Scratch!"
Watuber runs towards Eriegle with her paws glowing and scratches its chest. The little bird responded by flying in the air and shoot blades made of air, which managed to hit Watuber.
"Use Tail Whip!" Said Lincoln!
Watuber turned around and wags her tail cutely, making Eriegle less wary of her.
"Now its defense is lowered, Scratch once again!" Said Lincoln.
Watuber then runs towards Eriegle with her paws glowing and scratched it across the face. Eriegle lies on the ground and is now struggling to get up. Seeing this opportunity, Lincoln throws one of his Poké Balls, hitting it and getting inside. The ball shakes while the button is glowing red. After three shakes, it stops and sparkles, signifying a successful catch.
"YES!" Shouted Lincoln, which Charles howls triumphantly while Watuber celebrates with a pirouette spin.
"Eriegle's data has been registered in the Pokédex" Rotom Phone notifies him.
"Says here, Eriegle is male and its ability is Keen Eye which prevents his accuracy from getting lowered. It knows Air Slash, Screech and Tackle." Said Lincoln checking his Rotom Phone.
Lincoln than walked around in search of other wild Pokémon. He then ran into the dinosaur-like Pokémon wearing a skull as a helmet and holding a bone. He scans it with his Rotom Phone.
Cubone The Lonely Pokémon. Ground Type. Female. It wears the skull of its dead mother on its head. When it becomes lonesome, it is said to cry loudly.
Lincoln couldn't help but feel sorry for her. He first tried to befriend her and slowly approached her. When Cubone notices him and Charles approaching she begins to get angry and starts hitting her bone on the ground to show her dominance.
"So much for trying to befriend her...Watuber is resting so it's time for you to shine!" Said Lincoln throwing the Poké Ball in the air letting out Nawdile.
Nawdile stares at Cubone with a confident smirk on his face while Cubone didn't back down as she kept hitting the ground with her bone. She then throws her bone which went spinning in the air towards Nawdile.
"Quick, dodge!" Commanded Lincoln.
Nawdile dodged the flying bone and it came back to Cubone's paw. Then Cubone sticks out her head and charges towards Nawdile.
"Dodge and use Bite!" Said Lincoln having found an opening.
Nawdile dodged and his teeth began to glow and bites Cubone's left arm. She yelps in pain and breaks free from the grip, she then closes her eyes and focus and her body glows red.
"Nawdile use Leer!" Said Lincoln.
Nawdile then gives Cubone a wide eyed stare which intimidated her. Cubone then threw her bone at him again. However Lincoln quickly came up with a plan.
"Dodge and use Bite!" Commanded Lincoln.
Nawdile runs towards Cubone, dodged her flying bone, glows his teeth, leaped at Cubone and bit her on the chest.
"Now jump!" Lincoln said as Nawdile jumped.
When Cubone opened her eyes, she suddenly wide them in shock to see her bone coming towards her just when Nawdile jumped out of the way. She didn't have time to catch her bone which ended up hitting her in the face. Nawdile landed and looks at Lincoln who gives him a thumbs up, which the Tiny Croc puff up his chest confidently while Charles who was watching the battle just shook his head in disaprovement of the green Pokémon. Cubone falls on the ground, then gets up and begins to cry very loud which caught them off-guard. Charles is feeling awkward while Nawdile sweat drops at this situation.
"I did not expect that..." Said Lincoln now feeling guilty.
Lincoln then walked towards the crying Cubone and patted her head to confort her.
"Hey, hey, don't cry. I didn't want to battle you, but you were acting aggressive with me, so I had no choice..." Said Lincoln softly.
Cubone stared at him with teary eyes. Lincoln then checks his backpack and pulls out another Oran Berry and hands over to her, which she accepted and recovered a bit of her health.
"See, I'm not a bad person, so you can trust me." Said Lincoln as he patted Cubone's head which she calmed down.
"You must be feeling very lonely, I know how that feels, having no parents with you. I also miss my family..." Said Lincoln in a sad tone, which Cubone looked down sadly.
"I'll tell you what. How about you join me? If you stick with me, you won't be alone anymore. So? What do you say?" Said Lincoln as he pulls out one of his Poké Balls and pressed the button to make it grow and approached at Cubone.
Cubone thought for a moment and then stood up and poked the Poké Ball with her bone, which made it to open and turns her into a stream of light and got inside the ball. It wiggles around until it sparkles.
"Cubone's data has been registered in the Pokédex" Rotom Phone announced.
"Welcome to the family, Cubone!" Said Lincoln as he stares at his newly caught Pokémon.
Nawdile jumps with joy while Charles howls triumphantly. Lincoln then checks his Rotom Phone to learn about Cubone.
"Cubone knows Bonerang, Headbutt and Focus Energy. Her ability is Rock Head which protects her from recoil damage.
After returning Nawdile back to his Poké Ball so he can rest he and Charles kept walking in search of more Pokémon to catch. Eventually they run into a Pokémon that resembles a bright brown larva, it has horn on its cranium, beady eyes, a large round pink nose, fourteen pink legs and a stinger on the tip of its tail. Lincoln quickly scanned it with his Rotom Phone.
Weedle The Hairy Bug Pokémon. Bug/Poison Type. Male. Often found in forests and grasslands. It has a sharp, toxic barb of around two inches on top of its head.
"Hmm... A poison type might be useful in battle. It's your turn now Barkindle!" Said Lincoln as he threw his Poké Ball in the air letting out the Fire Pup.
Barkindle barks as he landed on the ground and gets on a fighting stance, while Charles growls upon seeing the dog Pokémon. Weedle then leaped at Barkindle while sticking out his horn towards Barkindle.
"Watch out for his toxic barb!" Yelled Lincoln which Barkindle dodged it.
"Now use Tackle!" Said Lincoln.
Barkindle runs towards Weedle and slams him with his whole body. Which Weedle falls on the ground struggling to get up.
"Huh, that was...too easy." Said Lincoln while raising his eyebrow.
Lincoln then proceeds to throw his Poké Ball at Weedle, which hits him, turning him into a stream of light and gets inside the ball. The ball shakes until it finally stops and sparkles.
"Weedle's data has been registered in the Pokédex!" Said Rotom Phone.
"Says here he only knows Poison Sting and String Shot. His ability is Shield Dust which protects him from the effect of moves.
Barkindle then leaped at Lincoln and begins to lick his face in affection which made him laugh because he felt ticklish. Charles not taking this scene of affection anymore, tackled Barkindle out of jealousy.
"What the?! Charles! Bad dog! You shouldn't do that to a friend!" Lincoln scolded the dog.
Barkindle not liking being tackled by Charles approaches him and the two got close nose to nose growling at each other.
"Hey, stop it you two! We shouldn't be fighting!" Said Lincoln as he approaches the canines to break up the fight by getting in the middle. Charles and Barkindle tries to get close to each other while barking, but are prevented by Lincoln.
"Man, is it hot here or is it just me?" Said Lincoln as he cleans off a sweat from his forehead.
Then he looks at Barkindle and he remembers that his Rotom Phone said that Barkindle's fur will heat up whenever he gets angry and his tail will burn hot. To prevent any casualties he returned Barkindle to his Poké Ball. Lincoln then begins to lecture Charles about his attitude towards Barkindle, which the pooch just rolled his eyes.
The next scene shows Lincoln and Charles walking throughout Route 1. Then they run into another larva Pokémon. This one however has yellow fur, long zigzag furry antennas which look similar to its two tails, four orange legs, a black face with large diamond shaped eyes with yellow sclera and diamond shaped pupils that almost covers its sclera. Lincoln then scans it with his Rotom Phone.
Zapillar The Shock Worm Pokémon. Bug/Electric Type. Female. Zapillar share energy with each other through the touch of their antennae. Groups of Zapillar will crawl over an enemy, electrocuting it until it is paralyzed.
"An electric might be handy. I guess it's time for her first battle!" Said Lincoln as he threw the Poké Ball into the air and released Cubone.
Cubone quickly gets on a fight stance. Zapillar quickly crawls towards Cubone while her fur was sparking in electricity. She leaped at Cubone and electricuted her. When she looked, she wides her eyes in shock to see Cubone without any scratch from her attack.
"Fool, electric type moves have no effect on a ground type! Bonerang!" Said Lincoln.
Cubone then uses her bone as a boomerang and throws at Zapillar, it managed to hit her in the face and then hit her on the back of her head on the way back dealing a super effective move. Zapillar falls on the ground with swirly eyes.
"It's weak against ground type moves, so of course it would get defeated this easily." Said Lincoln with a shrug.
Lincoln then throws his Poké Ball and it hits her on the cranium turning herself into a stream of light and gets inside the ball, it then begins to move left and right, until it stops and sparkles.
"Zapillar's data has been registered in the Pokédex!" Announced Rotom Phone.
"Gotcha! Huh?" Said Lincoln as he sees the stripe of the ball glowing red.
The ball then turns into a bright light and vanished. Lincoln was surprised at first until he remembers an important detail.
"Oh right, I can only have six Pokémon on my team, the rest gets teleported into the PC." Said Lincoln as he checks his Rotom Phone.
"Says here her only moves are Spark and Bug Bite and her ability is Volt Absorb which restores her health every time she gets hit by an electric type move instead of getting damaged." Said Lincoln.
Lincoln thought it was enough Pokémon capture for today and was walking back to Orisprout Town with Charles right behind him, when suddenly they hear a cry of distress. They ran towards it and saw a Criminook being pecked by four bird Pokémon. They have brown feathers on their heads, black nape and back, cream feathers on its chest, belly and rear, three brown tail feathers and red wings. Lincoln scanned them with his Rotom Phone.
Criminook The Thief Pokémon. Dark Type. Male. With their sly and sneaky tactics, Criminook like to steal at night taking the shiniest item they can find.
Spearow The Tiny Bird Pokémon. Normal/Flying Type. Male and Female. Eats bugs in grassy areas. It has to flap its short wings at high speed to stay airborne.
"That's not nice!" Said Lincoln
Despite having a bad experience with a Criminook, he didn't like it how the birds were ganging up on the racoon, so he steps up to confront them.
"HEY! FOUR ON ONE IS NOT FAIR!" Shouted Lincoln.
The Spearow turn their attention on Lincoln and Charles. They let out a loud cry while having their wings wide open. But Lincoln didn't back down, instead was giving the birds a glare while Charles was at his owner's side growling at the foursome. Lincoln then threw his Poké Ball into the air letting out Watuber, she gets into her fighting stance with a stern look on her face. Criminook was lying on the ground and opens his eyes and saw Lincoln, he then has a flashback. Turns out this is the same Criminook who stole his phone and attacked him with his pack after the pre teen threw a pebble at his forehead. He was confused. He stole his phone and yet the boy decided to save him. The Spearow begins to fly towards Watuber at high speed.
"Dodge!" Said Lincoln.
Watuber managed to dodge three Spearow, but the fourth one managed to hit her. Then they all fly towards Watuber at the same time with their beaks glowing.
"Evade and use Scratch!" Said Lincoln.
Watuber managed to dodge the four birds, her paws begin to glow orange and scratched the four birds. Then the Spearow begins to fly in circles around Watuber at high speeds. However Lincoln already came up with a plan.
"Wait for it..." Said Lincoln focusing on the birds circling the cub.
The four Spearow then dives towards Watuber from all sides.
"NOW JUMP!" Shouted Lincoln.
Just when they were about to hit Watuber, the little polar bear quickly jumps high, seeing this, the birds tried to stop, but ended up hitting themselves in the head and fell on the ground. They slowly get up until they heard.
"Now Scratch!"
The four birds look up in the sky and saw Watuber diving towards them with her paws glowing orange. She managed to hit three of them, while the fourth one managed to avoid the coming blow. Feeling outmatched the Spearow trio turned tail and fled by flying away. The one who was left behind is still willing to keep fighting.
"This one is tough..." Said Lincoln with a stern look on his face.
Meanwhile Criminook was watching the entire battle. He was amused to see Lincoln going all the way to save him and using his brain to make the Spearow to hit each other and take opportunity of the distraction to do the finishing blow. Spearow let out a cry in anger and charges at Watuber at high speed while its beak glows white. Watuber was standing in front of a nearby tree. However Lincoln was one step ahead with another plan.
"DUCK!" Shouted Lincoln.
Just when the bird was about to hit her, she ducks out of the way. Spearow wides its eyes in shock upon seeing the tree, it couldn't stop in time and ended up hitting the tree and getting its beak stuck. It struggles to get out. Lincoln then see this distraction as an opening.
"Now Scratch!" Ordered Lincoln.
Watuber got close behind Spearow, which she let out a cry in a sadistic tone while her eyes glows intimidatingly. Which the Spearow heard and begins to sweat profusely in fear. Watuber's paws glow orange and scratches Spearow's back giving it a critical hit. Spearow faints while hanging on the tree with its beak. Lincoln then throws a Poké Ball at it, hitting its back, turns into a stream of light and gets inside the ball. It landed on the ground and begins to shake. After a few moments, it stopped shaking and sparkles.
"Spearow's data has been registered in the Pokédex! And Watuber learned Bubble" Said Rotom.
"Good job Watuber!" Complimented Lincoln which the cub bowed to him as thanks.
The ball then got teleported. Lincoln then walked towards Criminook who was staring at him with admiration. Lincoln pulls out an Oran Berry and give to the racoon. He accepts it and ate it which healed half of his health.
"Hey, are you okay?" Asked Lincoln while kneeling to be on his eye level which the racoon answered with a slow nod.
"Thank goodness you're okay, those Spearow really did a number on you, thankfully it was nothing serious." Said Lincoln which Watuber nods and Charles barked in agreement.
"Well, don't let anymore Spearow to attack you. Good bye little guy!" Said Lincoln with a wave as he, Watuber and Charles begins to walk away from him.
Criminook stared at him in deep thought, after everything he did to the pre teen, he chose to save his life. Having made up his mind and forgave Lincoln for throwing a pebble at him. Ran on all fours towards him and jumped on his back and begins to rummage through his backpack.
"Hey what are you doing?! Are you trying to steal something?! Why you ungrateful little-" Said Lincoln as he started to get angry at the racoon as he saw him taking one of his Poké Balls. But stopped when he saw something he wasn't expecting.
The Criminook pressed the ball's button to enlarge it and then poked it with his paw, causing it to open and turns the racoon into a stream of light and got inside. The ball landed on the ground and shook a few time before sparkling.
"Criminook's data has been registered in the Pokédex!" Rotom Phone announced.
"I did not expect that..." Said Lincoln surprised.
Charles and Watuber were just as surprised as him. Lincoln then checked his Rotom phone for more info.
"Says here Criminook knows Bullet Seed, Taunt and Thief. His ability is Pickup which he may pick up an item another Pokémon used during a battle and can also pick up items outside of battles too. That's a very useful ability. Spearow is female, knows Peck, Leer and Quick Attack. She has the same ability as Eriegle. Man, wish I could have Criminook on my team..." Said Lincoln with a sigh.
"Maybe I can help you with that, Lincoln, zzzzt!" Said Rotom Phone.
It then begins to download something and then an app with a monitor logo marked with a Poké Ball appeared next to the Pokédex app.
"Now you can switch your team anytime you want Lincoln, zzzt!" Said Rotom Phone.
"Awesome!" Said Lincoln.
He then proceeds to switch his Weedle for Criminook. He held his Poké Ball and look at it.
"I think I'm gonna call you Sly." Said Lincoln now naming his Criminook of Sly.
"Well guys, let's go back to the Levesques, shall we?" Said Lincoln.
Charles and Watuber agreed and the trio begins to walk back to Orisprout town during a sunset.
At night, back in Royal Woods, Lisa has finally finished fixing her machine. She activated the portal and it didn't malfunction this time. She then walked to a hoard of drones and activated them.
"These drones can detect the tracking device I put on Lincoln. Wherever you are, I hope you're okay older brother." Said Lisa with hope.
She then dispatched the drones into the vortex and closes the portal.
